I am waiting for the day when Congress has the cojones to ban consumer advertising of pharmaceutical products. Nobody, but nobody, is deficient in pharmaceuticals in their body, and alternative medicines are actively attacked by the very medical associations that are funded by Pharma. Disgusting.

Joy, don’t know when that occur. Pharma lobbying is one of the top—if not the top— lobbying groups. They include congress is more ways than one: https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/understanding-the-ruling-class-of

Another important thing we need to do for our Country. I still want to shrink Federal Government because it was easier to control in Washington then in our own states.

Time to get pharma ads off TV. Then how will the CIA be able to afford to brainwash us with the legacy news? Oh!…

Dr. Malone, I wrote on this same topic in July. The reason why drug prices are so high isn’t because of research, but rather ad expenses: https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/why-are-drug-prices-so-high-hint

What I like about the TV ads is they're forced to identify all of the NEGATIVE side effects and I record everything so I can go back and make sure I know all the BS involved and my response is, "Why would I be so stupid to ask my Doctor for that drug?"

Ah, but they say it so fast that it's hard to keep up. Most people pay attention to all the "good" stuff, the graphics, the happy people, and just ignore the 100mph disclaimers at the end. Good ol' America, where most people wouldn't know critical thinking if it hit them in the face.

I am curious of the timing of expanding TV prescription drug advertising in 1997 as that was the decade where the CDC stopped hiring dedicated ethical scientists and started to hire "YES MEN (and women)". Could it be this was part of a plan that we are now witnessing the fruits of satan's labour. Drug ads soften people to drugs and when coupled with lobbying, courting doctors, being the insurance backstop in case a drug doesn't work, etc this makes for the ground work needed for the Covid 19 vaccine "emergency" to ruin the American Economy.

My understanding is Hillary was supposed to win the 2016 election and then implement the deep state's agenda. When Trump got in it delayed their plans so they figured out how to get rid of Trump and then implemented the destruction of the American economy in 2020-2024, softening the country up for one world government. Luckily their plan did not succeed in that 4 year time frame and Trump is now dismantling it. This is one of my takes on the politics of the last 30 years.

Yes, CFR member - Hillary Clinton - was suppose to win and oversee the demise of the USA being a Sovereign nation and the demise of sovereign American citizens - to become "citizens of the world" ( as Barrack OButthead claims he IS). The so-called United Nations "plans" for one world government are spelled out in their document "AGENDA-21" which was suppose to happen in 2021, now rescheduled as per "AGENDA 2030" now just FIVE years in the future.

An American NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) - the Council on Foreign Relations - is 100% behind and 100% RESPONSIBLE for this treason from WITHIN ! CFR members have LONG been embedded in EVERY federal government agency, bureau and department - including the legislative, executive and judicial - including the POTUS and SCOTUS. EASY to fact check!

Not mentioned here is the outright bribes pharma uses to romance physicians, particularly those in position to rx really expensive stuff.

Big Pharma is raking in billions from its TV advertising and its lobbyists influence Congress financially to vote as the industry wants. Looking forward to the day that all medical advertising will be discontinued; hopefully, sooner than later.

I think I read something about making the expense NOT tax deductible that would be a way not to infringe on their 1st amend rights, however, since we outlawed cigarette ads, we should be able to do the same here, right?

Those commercial ads make me want to say no way when they have to post the May cause info. The commercials usually have a fast forward through the side effects.

The cost of prescription drugs keeps rising. Drs should not get kick backs for prescribing big pharma new and expensive.

My daughter had strep throat this week. She is a young married woman with a baby. Not a lot of money. I told her to tell the Dr to prescribe her the cheapest he could prescribe. Well we all know that that would be penicillin. $1.99.

Oh boy. Tonight, I'm reading Really BIG news -

1st - President Trump has finally taken THE giant step toward admitting he was dupped by pharma on Warp Speed's success. He's asking them to provide the proof. (saw this posted on several X posts - Trump posted on his Truth Social account)

2nd - I'm seeing posts that Aluminum may(will?) finally have it's Truth Reveal Day! Don't want to spoil it for Director RFKjr, but I'm suspecting this is the Sept Autism Findings Biggie he and Pres Trump will announce to us. I'm feeling very optomistic tonight cause I'm now seeing X posts from others that mention Aluminum has been the Covered UP Biggie too. Hurry to get Dr. Exley's book, "If I as an Aluminium Atom".

If these 2 News Flashes really are carried out, OMG folks. I, for one, will Know God has our back in his working through these men and women (Malone's included) who have courageously stepped forward into the frey, over and over again, for YEARS ...to SAVE The CHILDREN.

Nothing drives me as nuts as when these “musical dance numbers” on TV introduce the latest in Big Pharma’s drug menu! Only at the end does the list of “side effects” get regurgitated in the ad…..usually with the final sentence being, the long list mentioned is “NOT ALL THE POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS.” This INSANITY should be BANNED from TV just as cigarettes were years ago.

Plain and simple. "Mass Formation" also known as hypnosis for the willing subject. And it has worked beautifully, repetition for other drugs had worked equally well. The jingles I heard as a kid still are available in a split second... Winston Tastes Good, like a cigarette should / the Marlboro Man, even chewing gum etc. Which ones do you remember? They did their job.

The DTC ad spend, heavily biased to “news” programming also serves as a disincentive to coverage of stories that cast a poor light on sponsors. Think of it as insurance against negative stories. And CME does lock in doctors and direct reward payments for prescribing particular meds. The pharmas payments touch every step in the medical industry.

Great article! A couple of points:

Ever notice the ridiculous ads pharma has created for the Super Bowl and many other widely viewed events? For example, they push a chemo drug to treat 'non small cell lung carcinoma stage III with positive markers'. Why in the world would they spend millions on this? There might be a few dozen non-medical people in the viewing audience who has the slightest idea of what they're talking about. Here's the story:

These ads are meant to:

1. Provide 'revenue' (bribes) to the hosting network so they keep nice to pharma. There is no plan that the ad will generate additional revenue to pay for itself.

2. They may be trying to create a back-door 'standard of care' for the oncologists watching the program. Then the oncologists may feel obligated to use these incredibly expensive meds.

Finally, all researchers on pharma payroll cannot possibly be trusted. Their very existence depends on being salesmen for their paymasters. Don't be fooled by scientific jargon.
