I loved the Star Trek video, but the one about Netflix' Musk had me scratching my head. Is this a common practice of Netflix? (Obviously I don't have a subscription so I'm totally ignorant in this space.)
Netflix makes a series about the Regency period (from a romance novel series set in England - late 1700s, titled Bridgerton) and over half the actors are black, Asian, or Indian. Playing the parts of wealthy white merchants and aristocrats.
It happens in almost everything they produce - particularly period pieces. It is bizarre.

For those of us (of an ahem cough cough certain age) noticed that taking note of a Friday the 13th has fallen out of favor. Maybe it was just a kid thing but I seem to remember adults taking notice, making comments. {sigh}
