On the topic of wokeness, I just had a mitral valve replaced. I now identify as part pig and my pronouns are she and oink. Please address me appropriately 🤩

YES! That would be hilarious. I live among Amish neighbors and they delight in oinking at me.

Brilliant, as always, Dr. M! On an unrelated note, may we request an update (and photos:)) of Thor?

Had a Joe Biden moment just now. I forgot about the Friday funnies. So good to see it in my inbox. I guess Dr. Malones Substack continues even when he’s far away. Thanks for this. Lucky for Joey and more than 1/2 of the federal government for our two tiered system of justice, laws and regulations. Funny how no politicians have died suddenly, only the common folk. Exemptions are only for them!!!! J.Goodrich

Speaking of exemptions---see where FAA has changed the rules regarding heart health for air line pilots? Seems they have "evidence" supporting this change but will not show it. Really makes you want to grow a pair of wings if you need to fly someplace doesn't it.

Given up on physicians long ago. Your dr is in the mirror. Avoid disease, it aint rocket science, is it?

As for pilots, i’ll gladly stay on terra firma; i have no death wish.

Little by little, death by death, the truth is being exposed. It’s horrifying to see the young people dying in mass. People are waking up, finally. Sadly at such a high price!

Thank you for your balance of fact and levity each week, you are truly a physician of the noble kind.

I agree with you Pam, but (if I may) I would like to add, DR Malone is (in my opinion) truly a MAN of the most noble kind. If we are able, IF WE ARE ABLE to save the world, we will ALL need to acknowledge the contribution Dr Malone made. (If you think this is a "suck up), SUCK IT UP!

Mr. Power, you may add, of course. I have no disagreement with your comment. It is likely that we share and value the same view of Dr. Malone, you from your vantage point of being a man (that is assuming by your name you are a man, forgive me if I am incorrect), and mine from the perspective of being a healthcare provider.

Not "triggered," just grateful for his passion, practice and virtue. : )

Yes Pam, I am an Australian MAN, & I thank you for your comment.

I am deeply concerned with "life after covid" & assisting Mankind to "see it for what it truly was". I have followed Dr Malone from the very beginning, and I daily feel gratitude for his Skill, his Courage & his Foresight. I also love the fact that he loves & appreciates Jill. Should be more of it.

Footnote to ER visit. My family member (sister) and I were seriously tired and hungry waiting for the specialist to return to give his opinion on the results.

We thought, have him call my sisters GP. Is it necessary to wait 6 hours to have an ER specialist give the results!

In true soap opera fashion, my sister checked herself out “against medical advice”.

As she signed the release, the treating doctor (Asian) said: it’s your right to refuse medical treatment/advice, it’s your health.

Always the disruptor,

I replied: yes, just like we have the right to refuse the Covid vaccine.

Her reply was something like: it is a good thing we have that choice.

Me: yes it’s good to live in a free country.

Artificial intelligence "chatbots" are becoming harder and harder to distinguish from actual human conversation. The earlier versions of chatbots were much easier to detect, like the one installed in Kamala Harris.

Today's Funnies felt very deep and different than some of the past postings. I need to go back and ponder some more. Yesterday's substack and comments also were much food for thought. No rest for my comprehension today!

Levity gives balance, but why are we not addressing the roots causes of our man made crisis. Biowarfare consortium and manipulated mRNA research for fun and profit?

Happen to be at the emergency room right now (not me a family member).

Was speaking with the treating Dr. about Covid cases. Has seen an up-tick in cases in the last several weeks and all medications and therapies previously available to doctors to treat Covid-19 are no longer available.

Sounded like a combination of both the medical administration not allowing the use (definitely a sour face when mentioned monoclonal antibodies) and that nothing works to treat XBB.1.5

Patients are given oxygen, fluids/electrolyte. That’s it.

I wonder what medication and therapies were previously available (I thought there weren't any at hospitals except the 'm' antibodies) that they are not allowing now.

Be interesting to know relationship between severity of infection and vaccination status. Since each of these variants appear to be more attenuated than the last, I wonder at so many requiring hospitalization over what should be only a cold.

Allison's avatar

Yes, that would be interesting to know. I shouldn’t have inquired as to the number of admissions. Based on the tone and response (oxygen and fluids) it led me to believe the cases weren’t severe.
