I am becoming more and more a fan of Rubio. This speech was stellar.

Side note: Dr. Malone, your Rogan interview was as well. A+

Leo's avatar

Karen, Yes! Dr. Malone's depth of knowledge coupled with his patient ability to explain complex ideas was beautifully displayed throughout his warm and engaging conversation with Rogan.

Well said, and agree.

02/16/26: Secretary of State Marco Rubio's speech in Europe this week was the best written, smartest declaration of purpose and intent since the Gettysburg Address.

I am shocked that so relatively few people have left a comment about this truly significant historic event. But not as shocked as the benumbed refugees from reality that comprised Rubio's audience. "The headmaster really means it this time," was etched in their grim expressions and inability to exhale until hours later.

You would think that the thousands of rapes, murders, and terror massacres committed by Islamic criminal "refugees" in Europe in the past two decades would have produced the same effect, in which case we would have to assume that sane people run Europe. They do not.

I enjoyed the Rogan interview as well. However I don't think that the artificial womb technology will ever work. The early development of a human embryo is just too utterly biologically complex to occur in vitro. In the lamb experiments, they were removed from the sheep uterus at the human equivalent of 23-24 weeks gestation, then incubated in a "bio-bag". Human premies can survive with NICU care after 23 weeks gestation, however some of the extremely early ones with present technology suffer life-long medical problems.

I’m constantly amazed that any embryo makes it to birth intact and fully formed!

Fred's avatar

Agree! If you want a concrete example of the miracle of human development, look at the anatomy of the extraocular muscles.

Sandy's avatar

Such a complex process with so many chances to go wrong. Ever since studying embryology in both college and medical school, I am amazed at the wonder of a baby

Leo's avatar

GBE. I don't think the artificial womb was referenced with any hope for success. Rather, it exemplifies a terrifying direction for humanity.

This speech should be recorded in history books and studied by all Western countries. Bravo, Mr. Secretary. Thank you, Dr. Malone for publishing this for all to read.

Must be repeated every Morning by every European, every Canadian and some American not on the track, yet !!

Leo's avatar

Julia, Right. Rubio's offer of mutual respect and cooperative relationship between Europe and the USA was also aimed at uplifting our own Red/Blue polarized country. He even wore a Purple tie. Symbolism has power to communicate at multiple levels.

Jennifer Jones's avatar

Agree. Sec. Rubio's speech is a keeper.

What an EXCELLENT speech. Positive, unifying, and inciteful. Marco Rubio is doing an amazing job as Secretary in every venue and situation he has been placed. He has turned out to be one of Trump's best choices to surround himself with. May God bless his efforts to keep the western civilization safe from their enemies.

Rubio is Trump’s best cabinet pick. I truly believe I just watched the video of a future US President, one that I’d be happy to see as the leader of the free world. He has the chops. Every time I listen to Secretary Rubio speak I can feel his deep love for America.

GR B's avatar

The great news is Trump chose some excellent people for his cabinet. It shows how a strong group of people can embody and carry out a philosophy of strength, growth, benevolence, and progress to improve the quality of lives not only in the USA, but in many places.

Tom Daniel's avatar

One of President Trump's stellar attributes is that he is a LONG-term thinker - and a fast learner - who has assembled, NOW in his 2nd term of Office - by far- the best cabinet members and overall administration of ANY U.S. president - bar none, and "we" the (still) sovereign people of the USA are INCREDIBLY fortunate we have DJT on OUR side in the never ending intellectual (and) kinetic war against what can only be described as EVIL forces hell-bent on (global) subjugation of humanity in the BOGUS name/s of "social-justice," "equality," DEI & ESG - which are ALL rooted in

the nihilistic "philosophy" of Karl Marx and Frederich Engels - of "everlasting revolution" until the utopia of a world in which an end of so-called "oppressors" and the "oppressed" is achieved.

Albert Einstein had a word regarding people repeating the SAME things over and over (and) expecting "different results" - INSANITY.

It has been speculated that President Trump can see into the future.

The Great Santini's avatar

I don’t know how it happened, but Rubio is the best Secretary of State we have had in a long, long time. And President Trump has put together the best, most effective cabinet in my lifetime.

Sandy's avatar

Marco Rubio keeps getting better every day. I expect to see him on the 2028 ticket.

What an incredible speech! I almost gave a standing ovation right here at my desk!

The camera went to Kaja Kalas a few times, the Executive V.P. Of the EU who is a virulent Globalist and supporter of mass migration - she looked like she was going to spit nails. 👍😂😂😂😂

Thank you for making the transcript available! Just one tiny note.... in your intro you put Feb 2025, instead of 2026. i still do that in my checkbook!

Don Reed's avatar

02/16/26: An annoyed Roman, staring at his checkbook in January 46 B.C.: "Damn it, I keep chiseling, 'XLV!' "

An outstanding speech by Secretary Rubio, one that smoothed many ruffled feathers and extended a much needed olive branch between Europe and the United States. United, we stand much stronger against any and all global threats.

Sonia Nordenson's avatar

Thank you for this coverage of a historic moment, Dr. Malone.

What a change from the Hillary hag. But I fear it may be too late England.

The U.K. Is a train wreck. I expect the Islamic flag to fly over Buckingham Palace one day, with the Royalty out of a job.

Tom Daniel's avatar

If things HERE don't change - make that the Islamic flags flying (over) MANY state Capital buildings and someday not too far away the Capital Dome also,

Tom Daniel's avatar

The U.S. is usually a decade or so BEHIND the (former) Great Britain - which has been DE-colonized and RE-colonized via MASS muslim migration.

Tom Daniel's avatar

DANG! Make that CAPITOL Building...

Secretary Rubio is the man of the hour. Outstanding speech!

Excellent speech! Rubio is impressive.

The man is worth his weight in GOLD— and then some.

I kinda wish DJT had 3 of him.

I also wish he would replace Pam Bondi. Her performance the other day was dismal.

Don Reed's avatar

02/16/26: Her shrill exchanges with the deranged congressman "Grubby" (can't remember his name) this week resulted from her "taking the bait." Top-rank talent does exactly the opposite. She lowered herself to his level and the event ended up looking --- and worse, sounding --- like a kindergarten hissy-fit.

And if that weren't enough, she (and many others) automatically lose by unavoidable comparison to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, whose speech in Europe this week was the best written, smartest declaration of purpose and intent since the Gettysburg Address; and by likewise comparisons to J.D. Vance and other remarkably able Trump cabinet members.

Elaine H's avatar

Thank you Doc for posting so we could all see him. I hope we are listening to the next president of the United States!

Thank you for the nice summary, Dr. Malone.
