Canada. Ostriches. Unbearable. 😢 Ranks as top animal cruelty. The only thing worse is how that government treats their citizens. I can understand why Dr Jill is struggling with this.

Mrs. Itoldya!'s avatar

Please let Jill know there are countless multitudes of broken hearts, grieving right along with her..

Joy Metcalf's avatar

The thing I find so egregious is that they refused offers to test the ostriches and refused offers to relocate them out of Canada. Conspiracy theory? Nope. Fact.

Lenny Graceffo's avatar

Precisely that. The latter must be beaten home again and again.

Graeme Ingram's avatar

Agreed not a conspiracy but a fact, a chiel which winna ding and downa be disputed. https://www.poetry.com/poem/30450/a-dream

Contrary to popular myth ostriches do not bury their head in the sand when threatened only the Canadian judicial system does so.

They are as courageous as Pontius Pilate.

Since i don't watch the Lame Stream Media, I was just wondering 🤔 how and if they're covering this story⁉️

I will be VERY CONCERNED about that happening here in our country if our #FakeNews Media isn't correctly covering it‼️⁉️‼️🤷‍♀️🤷🤷🏻‍♂️

They didn’t mention a word…. 🤬

Swabbie Robbie's avatar

My wife just showed me a picture of a Cassowary bird also called a "terror bird" and the world' most dangerous bird with deadly kicks. Perhaps if the Canadians had been raising some of them in their flock it would have evened the odds against the government killers.

Patricia Peterson's avatar

Sadly, Ostriches didn't sign euthanasian forms Canadian kids can without parental knowledge to maintain Canada's No. 1 position globally of organ harvesting supplier. 90K Canadians euthanized so far and counting, while helping Health Canada lower medical costs.

How sad 😔 😟 ‼️

I am struggling with it oo. Monsterous evil - monsters are among us. Run free beautiful birds. I am so sorry human monsters did this to you.

Graeme Ingram's avatar

This is a very serious issue that was not reported by the media which allowed this to happen and throws a very damning judgment against the Canadian judicial system. https://search.brave.com/search?q=family+of+ostriches+threatened+not+to+test+ostriches&summary=1&conversation=a210b380c03ff82e93d6b2

At least citizens have the ability to stand up and defend themselves if they want to by joining together, but these innocent, defenseless babies did not have that option, being entirely dependent on humans.

Poor Canadians. Once a haven, now a hell.

The photo of the dead ostriches posted by Dr Jill had an effect on me that I was not prepared for yesterday. It’s so depressing to realize the government can kill your animals without reason. That means they can do likewise to human beings. Genocide has taken place since the beginning of time. Some by government, some by government doing nothing to stop it as is the case of the slaughter of Nigerian Christians. Pray for the family whose birds were slaughtered and for the Christians being slaughtered. Satan wants to rule and sometimes it feels like the battle between good and evil will never end.

Computer Guy's avatar

It WILL end at Christ's return; probably in a decade or less. Wait for it - it's coming.

Romans 8:20-21 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Ana González's avatar

I didn't watch the video of Charlie Kirk nor will I watch the photos of the poor ostriches.

I have to protect my heart ❤️ from the sadness of what has happened. I can be sad with the knowledge BUT the sight of it will destroy my heart❤️ ⁉️‼️⁉️

I feel the same. I watched everything but the video.

Ana González's avatar

We have to protect our agency from all of this cruelty and madness ‼️‼️😥

Graeme Ingram's avatar

Satan has been ruling since Adam and Eve sinned, but don't worry, the answer for that terrible situation was given in the words of Genesis 3 verse 14&15 that Satan would have his head crushed. Eternal death. Sobering thought.

Ask the witnesses for Jehovah about this. You could also go to their website.

Ps I do not have the priviledge of being part of their organisation and have no authority to speak as being one of them.

https://www.jw.org/en/

When God gave mankind stewardship over the earth it was intended to be with love and respect for Gods creation as can be seen in the Holy Scriptures.

I look forward to the day when humanity can live in harmony with Gods creation and not like savage cruel thoughtless things.

Restacked twice.

The ostrich culling is heartbreaking and STUPID.

Birds who have dealt with sickness and SURVIVED, while many of their flock DIED are birds with EXCELLENT immune systems, and ability to rise above the illness and thrive. These are the ones you want to BREED to carry on their strong genes for stronger future flocks!

If someone in your family died from flu but the rest of your family either didn’t get it or got it and survived, would they want to

kill the rest of your family?!

Only if they were, 1. extremely stupid or, 2. more into population control than they’ll ever admit.

Mrs. Itoldya!'s avatar

Natural immunity was too big of a threat to the vaccine developers. Period..

KC & the Sunshine's avatar

Yep, and I imagine they didn’t want word spread that some backwoods ostrich farmer figured out the keys to immunity when they could not. Sickening, cowardly, deceitful asshats.

Barbara Lekowicz's avatar

Hoping that when anyone in the Canadian central government gets the Flu, they exterminate that entire flock.

Mrs. Itoldya!'s avatar

And are too stupid to just take Ivermectin!

KC & the Sunshine's avatar

Absolutely!! Even a year later!!

We’ll tell them it’s for their own good, and that they can get new, baby family members—- nevermind that new baby family members have ZERO immunity to jack, and that the new baby family members will likely be culled as well, because the flu is caused from WILDLIFE flying around, la dong in ponds and can’t be controlled.

SO ignorant.

A Needed Positive Sunday Thought

When things are going right in life, the family is happy, work is going well, we’re getting good breaks, we know God is in control, He is on the throne, He’s directing our steps. But having faith doesn’t exempt us from difficulties. The storms of life come to every person. Someone walks out of our life, we lose a loved one to an illness, business slows. In the difficult times it’s easy to ask, God where are you? How could you let this happen to me? We have to keep our faith. The same God that is in control in the good times is just as in control in the tough times. God will not allow a storm unless He has a Devine purpose for it. We see these storms as negative, but sometimes God will direct the winds of the storm to blow you to where he wants you to go. God knows how to shift the winds so instead of blowing you backwards it blows you forward, where you not only come out better and stronger, but that storm will move you to a place of greater blessing, greater influence.

A lot of people say they have faith but in the tough times they fall apart. Their not going to be happy until the storm is over. We should use our faith to believe that when the winds stop blowing we will be exactly where God wants us to be.

I watched the interview with Erika Kirk on theJesse Waters show. Although it was very difficult to watch I can’t help but think of the storm she is in the middle of. This murder, this assassination is so much more than Tyler Robinson. I ask why would God take him? I haven’t lived a life half as admirable as Charlie did, why take him? Call it discernment, call it intuition, call it what you like, but there were much bigger forces that wanted Charlie killed.

There is a term vagrant bird. A vagrant bird is a migrant that appears lost or blown off course by a storm, ending up outside its normal range or migration route. Also called accidentals, vagrant birds can be found in unexpected places, far from home. Other reasons for vagrancy include geomagnetic disturbances, space storms, solar activities or inexperience. Maybe the world has just gone off coarse and it’s a sign for all of us to fight for what has been given to us.

I’m not sure why they killed Charlie Kirk, maybe he just wasn’t here at the right time. Maybe he was put here for a time and God wanted to bring him home. There’s a reason he came here and left us so quickly.

The apostle Paul had been arrested and appealed his case to the emperor. As he was getting on the ship that would bring him to Caesar he told the captain and crew it’s not a good time to sail, there’s a storm. They put Paul onboard and headed out to sea. Not long after that they ran into a massive storm. For 14 days they forged through the raging seas, there was no sunlight, it was completely dark. The crew began throwing equipment overboard to try to stay afloat. Eventually the wind became so strong and the waves so big they could not control the ship any longer. The crew took down the sails and let the wind blow the ship wherever the storm wanted it to go.

There comes a point when you’ve done everything that you can, you prayed, you believed, you stood in faith, now you have to relinquish control. Let the storm take you where God wants you to go. Say God I trust You, where you take me is where I’m supposed to be.

At one point the crew went up to Paul and admitted they should have listened to him and not sailed. Paul didn’t say I told you so, he said my God promised me I will one day see the emperor and one day I will.

The ship ended up hitting a sandbar and broke apart. They all swam to the small island of Malta. On that small island the chiefs father was extremely sick Paul prayed for him and he was healed. One by one they brought other people to Paul he prayed and they too were healed. Paul ended up sharing his faith and the whole island came to know the lord. God used the winds of that storm to push Paul to people in need.

The storm may have been meant for your harm but God knows how to direct the winds to take you to a place where you can be a blessing to someone else in need. On the way out of the storm don’t be surprised if you have interruptions inconveniences not what you had planned. As you reach out to others in need, as you help the fallen, as you encourage those that are down, as you become a friend to the lonely that’s when your breakthrough will come. Pray one for another so you will be healed. One of the tests we all have to pass is being good to someone else in the midst of our storm. Happy Sunday, stay tuned!! J.Goodrich

I am persuaded that our life here is basically school. We have free will and so getting into lots of trouble is easy like New York wanting life to be all free stuff that nobody pays for. Nothing focuses the mind like adversity. I once asked my minister what hell was like (note: a religion that believes in reincarnation ie second chance to straighten out your shit). He said, “Where do you think you are.?” It’s entirely possible that this period of hell is specially designed to save those of us who can right our wrongs and hopefully be an example for the rest. Not fun but given human nature (stupid and lazy when things go swimmingly) probably a necessary learning tool.

LB (Little Birdie)'s avatar

School of life, free will, reincarnation to have opportunity to right our previous wrongs, hell on earth...all things I contemplate too.

Truth! “THE SAD REALITY IS THAT REPUBLICANS ARE

Paula Mitchell's avatar

We believe in law and order, the Democrats have shown they'll do anything for power that's why Charlie Kirk was murdered and Trump took a bullet. We should ALL be on notice

LB (Little Birdie)'s avatar

Gotta say, this quote looks to be hitting nail on head. There was an article in Substack-'Truth About Cancer'. today from Ty/Charlene Bollinger. It's called "Trump's "America First" Promise - Rhetoric vs Reality". Gonna try to link it here. I hate to bring up the ostrich debacle right now as the pain of that is still real, but if we keep hiding our faces in the sand and pretend it's all just gonna be done to make our lives better because of some campaign slogan, we're not facing reality. I've got some pretty big concerns in my head and a squeamish feeling in my gut at this point in time.

If we want some change, we better start waking up to the fact of really only having till next November's midterms. Things appear to be slipping right now. I said a couple days ago, "Trump needs to bring it home".

Do I agree with the whole of the linked article. I can't say I do (or I don't). My point is we need, here in America, our elected officials to concentrate minds and monies on our internal plights. That's what I voted for. We need to start getting more vocal as a majority of citizens ready to not just say it in words, but create some action. Not calling for violence. I'm calling for petitions or marches or floods of letters to Congress or help Charlie Kirk's wife continue to educating young minds. Time to get busy.

The brand is NOT broken as the linked stack states. That kind of rhetoric is music to the ears of those that wish to break it.

LB (Little Birdie)'s avatar

Again. Do I agree with the whole of the linked article. I can't say I do (or I don't). My point is here in America, we need our elected officials to concentrate minds and monies on our internal plights. That's what I voted for.

The brand may not be broken, but it looks stained, which I find troubling. Am I ready to throw in the towel. No, as I still recognize the alternative is much, much worse. Which is why, again, I stress action on the part of those who, like you, see a brand to believe in - AMERICA FIRST+ - and don't like or appreciate the other sides music.

Look at the quote Dr. Malone posted and is reposted above - what does it say about Republicans. That's my point.

PS: Here is a perfect example of what I want:

Maybe some of the provinces in Canada should try to secede.

Robert St. Louis's avatar

There is a considerable movement in Alberta to do just that. Alberta is the most conservative province in Canada, and oddly enough, when Alberta became a province in 1905, about 20% of the population was American.

Rita's avatar

Alberta and Saskatchewan are both looking seriously at secession, with the possibility of becoming US states. I think territorial status would work out better for them, give them greater autonomy, at least at first.

Swabbie Robbie's avatar

Good idea: shirts and sweatshirts. Maybe get Tom MacDonald or his Canadian friend, Brandon Hart, to do a song out the massacre as well.

Canadians would probably get arrested for wearing one, so best to market them in the US.

Jill doing research into the slaughter of the ostriches and being depressed. it disturbed me totally, too. The Canadian government with its massive kill thing. Killing birds...killing, calling it 'euthanizing' people Then I hear Suzanne Humphries speak yesterday and saw a shot of a poor little monkey being tied down, so it could have its testicles removed...and I couldn't hear anymore. Who could do these things in 'research' that goes nowhere. it does not help mankind killing animals in research or killing animals or ostriches, period. The answers are already known what provides health and what makes illness...Researchers don't have to remove little monkey's kidneys to put into toxic witchdoctor''s brews called vaccines. The medical Industry is not into promoting health...it is about selling its toxic products and destroying humanity in the process.

Quebec was a colony of France until 1763, when, as part of the Treaty of Paris that ended the Seven Years' War between Britain and France, France ceded Quebec to Britain. The French Canadians did not emigrate to Canada, they were absorbed by Canada. The Quebec Act of 1774 expanded Quebec's territory and allowed French civil law and Catholic religious practices, making Quebec a unique entity with the British colonial system. Quebecers were not imported into Canada.

Indeed, Quebec was not a part of British North America until the 1763 Treaty of Paris, which ended the Seven Years' War. Until that time, Quebec was a colony of France.
