I was reading an article on Accuweather (a company started in my hometown, with their first meteorologist and his family being close friends of my parents and my family) about the heat wave in Europe. Half the article was about how it's "clear" that man made climate change is to blame. No proof is offered and the "settled science" claim is made. Clearly, there is still a lot of work to do on this front, to destroy this particular confidence game that is still being pushed very hard onto people who should have known better by now.
Growing up in Communist Hungary inoculated me against this thoroughly. I learned not to trust government anything blindly. I was the only one in the family who refused everything about the pandemic. No vaccine never wore a mask.
It was also a perfect timing to rigg the election for Biden. It was a huge payday for America's biggest Grifters all the way around.

My problem is that I had seen the attitudes towards open discussion changing years prior to that. I remember subscribing (2016-7ish) to what was supposed to be a reliable scientific chat group (I have already forgotten which one it was) and was sorely disappointed by the harsh critique of people challenging any vaccination program. They have completely and utterly lost my trust. I don't even want to put myself at the mercy of "modern" medicine ever again. I will find alternatives. I don't ever plan to get a vaccine again. It would take a lot to change my mind about that, and it would have to come from outside the current medical control structure. I know I'm not alone in this. What is most infuriating about what was done to us all, is that most of the control complex shows no remorse and only doubles down on what we all know now to be false and unscientific approaches and declarations.
