I read the verdict from the SC and was like “are you kidding me?” Those running around crying this is some verdict for free speech are delusional too. It says nothing about outsourcing to some NGO that can be paid from our Govt and contact social media platforms and made special note that these social media platforms are privately owned entities and what they do with speech is entirely up to them. A victory would be a huge monetary judgement for the plaintiffs and maybe some jail time for the facilitators. This was theatrical at best. Free speech will continue to be attacked and when it’s lost it’ll never come back just like the other civil liberties we have had impeded. This country is screaming for a third party right now.
3rd party will not do it. Simply need to clean up the ones we have and is happening. Lot or print dedicated to departing GOP but how many are RINOs and uniparty? Maybe a bunch and if so will not be missed and hopefully replaced with conservatives. The wuflu fraud has awakened a sleeping giant. Give it time to act.
Thank you for your complete explanation of what happened with the Supreme Court’s Consent Decree, Dr Malone. The “10 years” limitation is what baffled me. No censorship but it’s ok after 10 years was a concept I couldn’t get my brain around. I asked this very question on every Substack I read concerning the issue. No response until now. I believe that Barrett and Kavanaugh still believe some censorship is necessary because of their previous work. To hell with free speech. So my Spidey sense was right, this decision was not all it was cracked up to be. Feet of clay for the SC.
From my perspective this is way bigger than the constant argument about 'free' speech. Where is the line drawn? Why are some allowed to say whatever they want, including defaming those they disagree with, and yet others are vilified for speaking 'hate' speech. Something wicked this way comes, if you ask me. And it's not about freedom to say what you think. It's a subtle game of Jenga - gently pull out the pieces until the whole thing collapses.
Case in point - The Supreme Court of Finland has issued a ruling that a politician who promoted a pamphlet twenty years ago defining the Christian definition of male and female, to be 'hate' speech.
Religion and morality will always come under attack by Marxists, and socialism is just the little brother of communism. Marx claimed that religion was the opium of the people, and the Soviet Union went farther, outlawing it altogether. While some might argue that Finland is not socialist, the Socialist Democratic Party is certainly one of the strongest. And since prosecutors can appeal a not-guilty victory, it's leanings are definitely more totalitarian than I'd be comfortable living with.
It wasn't all that long ago that a pastor in Canada was jailed for "hate speech" when declaring Christian beliefs about homosexuality. Was he attacking anyone? No. Just quoting the Bible. I think we're already at the point that the Bible is condemned as hate speech.
I agree and I'll take it even further - many so called Christian ministers are preaching literal blasphemy misinterpreting Scripture - like saying that Jesus and the woman at the well were flirting with each other because the words 'living waters' was an ancient term for sperm. Cannot make this stuff up.
*This is why I so appreciate Tucker's bravery in exposing what's Really happening in this war. It's up to us, The People, to stop this complete take-over of our freedoms- what we can do, similar to Tucker, is push back, go against the grain. We must not comply with the Real ID, and how simple is that. Only 5 states require it. Get back your standard license, if you fell for their "you have to have it" tricks.
Do not like SCOTUS but we are stuck with it so need to find a way to protect it from threats from the, executive branch best exemplified by FDR scaring them into the absurd expansion of the commerce clause with which the fed has done so much harm.
To contiue...one of the Supremes browsing thru common law, discovered we also had a right to privacy. Well, I contend the same source gives us the right to discriminate...something we do every time we make choices. But thanks to that weaponization of the, commerce clause, the fed has imposed on us its ability to choose where we may and may not discriminate by fining into oblivion anyone who runs afoul of how it defined discrimination. So a restaurant in Little Rock can toss out the Ark. Governor on the assumed disproval of her politics by its patrons, but a baker can be fined into bankruptcy for not baking a cake. And blow religious ,onviction, how about a conviction that cake flies in the face of cultural convictions? But no, we currently have given the,fed the right to determine what those are.
“So a restaurant in Little Rock can toss out the Ark. Governor on the assumed disproval of her politics by its patrons, but a baker can be fined into bankruptcy for not baking a cake.”
Perfect point.
There is an old adage: “you can tell who has the power by who you cannot make fun of.”
Unfortunately political affiliation is not a protected class re: discrimination ala melanin content, sex, religion, and shoe size (OK, I made that last one up); gender identity is protected under civil rights law via court case. So, if you’re gonna shoo some loud blue haired fairy out of your diner, make sure you do it for behavior and politics. 😉 Also, there’s discrimination in public spaces (diner) vs workplace discrimination.
But, here’s the good part, you don’t have to drop your $$$ at that diner - I have no reason, currently, to visit or pass thru Arkansas but if I did I know where I wouldn’t eat and I’m not opposed to sharing that info (if you don’t already know). I’d actually think that anyone in AR who voted for Gov Sanders would feel ashamed if they ever step foot in The Croissanterie
And that has always been my point. Our gov has no business defining cultural norms as it does by these discrimination laws. When the culture is ready for change it will accept it. Example: in the '60s an upscale restaurant in Okla. City declared it would not allow black patrons. Appeared the Okies were ready for change and promptly boycotted the place and they caved in a week or so. When we are ready to having our kids entertained by pedophiles (hopefully never) we will allow it but the,gov has absolutely no business forcing it on us. We are at the point of the gov forcing sharia law on us...not our culture!
Point well taken. We are all equal, just some more equal than others.
Honesty is no longer well advised. Don’t say the real reason. Not to avoid conflict with the blue haired fairy, but to avoid government prosecution/persecution.
My parents were not anything close to “liberal”. One day, we walked past a store with a sign: “No colored”. I found this puzzling and asked my mother what that meant. She snapped: “It means we don’t shop there.” I still didn’t know what it meant, other than it was a bad subject. They didn’t get our $$$.
The government is determined to suppress the unfettered search for truth, as evidenced by the successful court mandated shuttering of the ACIP committee. Allowing Pharma to continue its control of the medical establishment in the areas of research, education, publishing, medical society policy guidelines, and media is the biggest manifestation of the suppression of speech. Big bad is big money. Big money is the life blood of politics. Politics determines what “ truth” is allowed to be uttered. Censorship is the means is suppressing the search for truth. The fact that Dr Malone has decided to leave the field of combat at the now defunct ACIP is proof that even our champion warriors may conclude that the search for truth in the vaccine wars is Quixotic.
Here we are again in a place of nowhere. Even a 150 page memorandum will only go down as a historical guide to "authoritarian madness". I have to keep in mind that all of us, including those in the most highly esteemed positions are subject to delusion, being coerced by a number of conflicting pressures and just plain stupidity of the moment. Shakespeare was on to something when he said "All the world's a stage".
The liability should not be with the CDC and other 3-letter acronyms. The liability of stealing other's free speech should be laid at the feet of specific administrators and they be forced to pay damages. These people take oaths to uphold the Constitution. They failed. Their actions directly stole other's free speech rights. They are liable
This “consent decree” reminds me of a long ago acquaintance who had, in earlier years, been in the Navy and had very much enjoyed port calls in various far away places.
“I have never had the clap and am never going to have it again.”
Free Speech? How can it be FREE with Digital IDs giving over Control of ALL to the Evil Ones.
In the EU, they're requiring it by the end of 2026. In the UK, after citizens have successfully pushed back on it for years, the UK is demanding it of all, by 2029.
Once they've Digital ID'd us, we've lost all freedoms.
An Estonia breach article ends with this Not So Encouraging statement as it's warning us - we'd be in the hands of "mature" leaders! when breaches occur. "This incident underscores a fundamental truth in cybersecurity: the question isn’t if you’ll be breached, but when—and whether you’ll handle it with the maturity Estonia demonstrated." https://breached.company/when-the-digital-utopia-got-hacked-estonias-286-000-id-photo-breach/
When the Supreme Court can be manipulated politically, instead of being allowed to make decisions legally, we are a lost generation. As long as they continue to approve of judicial candidates who lack the wit and wisdom to know “What is a woman?”…..we are doomed to be left with a life long string of morons on the bench. I shudder to think what the next batch of legal wits will consist of when I hear the stupidity of college kids interviewed on Florida beaches during Easter week! Their main concerns appear to be only how many sex partners they have racked up and hoping they don’t get some STD in the process. One college woman didn’t even know what side of our country the Pacific Ocean was on!!! This is the quality of our education?
We are in SERIOUS trouble. I’m thankful I won’t be around to see the mess they will make of this nation and the bewilderment on their faces when they cannot figure out the reasons why…..??
When the Supreme Court first dismissed the case for "lack of standing", I was appalled. What? What lack of standing? Who could better have standing than those targeted? But then the plaintiffs determined to go back and try again. Hoorah!
Then the "victory" a few days ago had me acknowledging that those in high places never face retribution. Shades of Biden's 4,000+ pardons for people who "may have" committed crimes.
Why I hate that court...made up of lawyers who invent crap like "standing" to raise themselves above the common herd. Have never understood the need to interpret something as easy to read as our Constitution. Lawyers obfuscate the poor thing with legalese nonsense like...standing.
I am thrilled to report that the Thugs representing The Criminal Consortium have agreed that neither they nor their Clients ever did anything wrong and that they will not do again, anything that looks like what they did, or didn't do, for at least ten years... so help them Beelzebub!!!
We must also address Sharia Law. That is also an attack on free speech and, as Frank Gaffney says a re-institution of slavery by descendants of the people who sold people into slavery in what has been called America's original sin. Just as our Constitution's Bill Of Rights 1st amendment stated "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition the government for a redress of grievances." We can not have second set of laws by a specific religion that removes this amendment in practice.
To me, the Brownstone Institutes article and the Sharia Law issue is all of a piece. Free speech either is a right or it isn't.
Been busting their buns in Texas trying to import it here. Abbott suddenly reawakened to his supposed conservative roots and joining Paxton in fighting it. Will be interesting to see what happens when this fight makes it to SCOTUS. Texans may have to entrench themselves in the Alamo...again.
Thank you for sharing. Reminiscent of the ivermectin affair. Beware of fake agreements of capitulation.
Beware of Robert's courts.
On the other hand, as your essay yesterday documents, they've now developed a new strategy of censoring from off-shore. I was able to track down and watch your participation in the Benz/Daily Caller exchange. A beneficial opportunity to share your analysis with Mike Benz, before his next involvement.
Yesterday's events surely shine a light on todays reality relating to censorship. Joshua Phillips panel appears to have been nuked. No trace on the schedule or copies to be found. In a venue championing itself as resisting.
It seems one of the most important messages will be (in the face of runup to the midterms) is censorship is alive and well! Make our votes count toward a free and better tomorrow. Find truths. Identify propaganda. Enable your wise decision.
Spring is springing. Foals on the horizon. Interesting opportunities ahead.

You know Dr. Malone didn't write this piece, I'm assuming.
You’re right. I didn’t notice. However, he posted it. 😊

I agree - this is WAY Bigger. And we're about to lose our ability to stop it as they quietly roll in Digital ID.

Step bu step by step and then suddenly - mark of the beast. We will neither be able to buy or sell, work or speak unless we are tagged.
Given tuckers recent dive into bigotry am not too interested in any of his opinions
Few are still under the delusion that we are free.

"steeling" is appropriate. The strength of steel is being applied against us.
