Love this! We need to be cognizant that the pendulum can swing too far in either direction. We should not allow our passions, experience, hurts, or fears to blind us to the truth, whatever the truth is.

Covid was a dry run for the tyranny we will certainly face if the communist left takes power in this midterm election and the 2028 presidential election.

The problem we all should fear is if the left gets back into power you can kiss the 1st amendment goodbye. As we witnessed with Covid and the lefts open borders on their 1st go round and the left controlling the 3 branches of government, they silenced the people with censorship. They opened the borders and took peoples voting power away from them. They closed churches and small businesses another source of the people’s power. They jailed political opponents. They even tried to execute their opponents leading candidate. If they regain the 3 branches of government again all hell is sure to break loose. This time there will be a whole new ruthless ruling Democrat regime. Vaccine mandates will be common place. I could see 50 million illegals coming across our borders, spread across the country, completely eliminating people’s voting power. The Supreme Court will be packed. The 1st and 2nd amendment will be eliminated for starters. And things will go down hill from there. Violence and the jailing of people on the right will be common place. So for all the people that think 4.50 a gallon will keep them from the poles, wait and see it get to 10 dollars a gallon if you’re lucky. Voting in these midterms is critical and I would say even more critical than the 2024 election.

We have essentially lost a chunk of the 1st as we no longer have a free press. In the hands of progressives for decades now

Maybe gas prices won't even be an issue if the left wins back power. EV's will become mandatory, so us folks with internal combustion dinosaurs will have to sit in our yards and watch our relics rust, while waiting for our SNAP benefits to arrive. Oh, wait! They won't be OUR yards anymore! They will belong to The People. And we'll have no need for SNAP benefits, as there won't be any grocery stores. Doesn't matter. We won't be able to drive there anyway. Perhaps the regime will use drones to drop ration boxes to the starving masses, if they feel benevolent. Just sayin'.

Dr. Malone

As usual, a very informative and well-balanced presentation. Thank-you!!

As a GP who was never educated in, nor proficient at, analyzing studies in medical research, and so was (and continues to be) totally dependent on the authorities, the revelation of the significant manipulation of the data and statistical analysis that you and many other well-credentialed scientists provided to those of us who are vulnerable has left me wondering where else these things are happening in our profession.

It reminds me of the time right after Enron had totally fooled those who should have known better and Money Magazine came out with an article purportedly to teach us how to critically analyze companies' financial statements to protect ourselves from another Enron. I immediately cancelled my subscription.

The loss of trust that I experienced during COVID has made me question almost everything I ever did in my medical practice with respect to prevention. I used to joke with my patients that my job was to find something wrong with them to make them keep coming in for follow-up visits and investigation and that most of medicine today is a statistical construct, but when it comes to the individual, statistics are meaningless.

What happens when you can't trust the authorities to do their job right?

You continue to read the Substack articles by people like you to try to stay informed.

Thanks again.

There’s an iron clad test for who is lying when both sides can’t be right. The liar is the side that is censoring.

And I should have added the lying side is also the one that refuses to debate.

Regarding the last paragraph of this essay sadly what I am hearing is that many physicians are as unaware of the risks of some vaccines as is the patient/parent. What is the answer to that?

Fisher153's avatar

that was my experience as well. i had a doctor try to force the hpv 'vaccine' on my son; the doctor had zero understanding of the associated risks and had a "must-do" (brainwashed) mentality. That also contributed to my lack of trust in medical professionals who really had no training or education in what they were advocating.

People reading this article benefit from the well presented argument to watch out for cultish thinking within ourselves. We are also reminded that voicing an alternative opinion has historically caused personal and public pain and hardship…yet honest and open debate is the only chance for factual information to emerge.

One part towards the end though struck me:

“The physician brings the evidence, experience, and uncertainties.”

I have found that in some (and increasing) circumstances w physicians, the physician is not the one who holds experience or evidence. Alarmingly so with many younger physicians who seem dangerously myopically trained in their specialties and lack a general medical knowledge that former generations of physicians had.

So, I think there are the nefarious characters in medicine/pharmaceuticals and then the mis/un educated.

Thanks for a superb article.

After much research in a medical school library, I decided to not have any more vaccines.

I spoke to small groups in my area about the information I had on vaccinations.

One day I got a call from the mother of a 14 year old boy who had never been vaccinated. He had started a lawn care business in a new subdivision that had been a horse farm 5 years ago.

We discussed his age, the maturity of his immune system and the possibility of being exposed to tetanus. She decided to have him vaccinated for tetanus only.

Truly informed consent.

Kathleen Vee's avatar

How long ago did that take place? Because you can no longer get a “tetanus only” shot in the USA.

Aniela Connelly's avatar

Are you serious? What is included with it?

Kathleen Vee's avatar

Pertussis and diphtheria vaccines.

You can learn more about all the Tetanus shots here:

https://www.nvic.org/disease-vaccine/tetanus/vaccine

And also here:

Is this true for adults who want updated tetanus shots as well? I'm asking because my husband had to go to MedExpress a couple of years ago when he cut his finger with his chain saw. I treated him homeopathically, which helped hugely, but he needed a few stitches, and they were inquiring about his tetanus shot. He avoided it, but what if he had wanted it? Would he have to get the others as well? (Feel free to tell me "look at the links, lazybones." lol)

Nadia Nichols's avatar

The only alternatives now are tetanus with diptheria, Td, or tetanus combined with diphtheria and pertussis. This was a shocker to me, as I was due for the ten year tetanus booster and had to get Td...next time I'll ask for the vial so I know what I REALLY got.

Though shared decision making sounds great, until the financial incentives to vaccinate are removed from pediatricians, it will not mean much, especially if the pediatrician is particularly good at convincing the parent that vaccinating is preferable, in his or her opinion. The average lay person is easily intimidated, in my opinion & will cave in most instances.

ron's avatar

Parents and every patient should review and remember who works for whom.

Debra Nolasco's avatar

Additionally, as far as informed consent is concerned, if the information being provided is coming from a biased source (the pediatrician) how much emphasis is being put on the so-called "benefits" & how de-emphasized are the potential harms? The average person is clueless as to how much the whole system is rigged. I also learned in recent years, how much oncologists make from cancer drugs, which they typically purchase in advance at one price, & then charge the patient much, much more. The difference between what the drugs cost them & what the insurance companies reimburse, is substantial, which is what the oncologist keeps. Hence the reason why you will never hear them talk about the potential of re-purposed drugs for cancer, such as Ivermectin, Fenbendazole, & Mebendazole. A close life-long friend developed a rare form of pancreatic & liver cancer a year after receiving three mRNA covid injections & died last December after receiving the typical & conventional cancer treatment. Between what I've learned since 2020 in regard to covid (both the "vaccines" & the suppressed early out-patient treatment for the infection) & then with my friend's cancer diagnosis, there is much to question with both vaccines (all of them) & cancer treatment.

A lot of people have learned (or should have learned - many refuse to) a lot about medicine and doctors' motivations during the last six or so years.

Loss of family because of shots was one of the hardest things during the entire ordeal, I have had to stand alone at times, but will never back down from my right to decide how to live the life I have been given...Thanks for all the insight.

An even more extensive look at how we are set up for confusion and the ways it is done. When organizations like Del's and CHD are finally showing the effects of (inevitable?) decay and extremism, how can the ordinary person detect all of this without a degree in the study of personality traits? We are left most of the time to a combination of intuition and study. Thank you for distilling these traits for our education.

I am not sure what extreme I fall into. I will not take any mRNA gene therapy injection especially for flue or covid. It doesn't make sense to me, the viruses mutate too fast. When I stopped taking flu shots 8 years ago I stopped getting the flu. Maybe a coincidence. I also intentionally sought out family members (grandchildren) that had tested positive for covid with symptoms to attempt to get infected. I was unsuccessful.

I would carefully weigh the pros and cons for example tetanus injection and try to avoid getting an injection with a multivalent formulation with other diseases included in the package. One at a time if at all please. I have experienced so much obvious misdirection during the covid times that I am deeply skeptical of most vaccine delivery systems. It would be hard to listen to arguments in favor of vaccines, I would have to bite my tongue to pay attention.

So yes I have been accused of being an anti-vaxxer. A label that is basically a thought stopper.

Bruce Miller's avatar

A pox on both their houses.

John Adams famously said that "facts are stubborn things."

I could give a fig if Trump supports a vaccine or Fauci or anyone else I just want the facts. Is it efficacious as proven by trials. What are the side effects, if any.

This is why I trust Doc Malone over all these ideologues. He tells it straight. No bullshit, no group think.

Jeff Heard's avatar

Here is a simple hill to defend; just develop an accurate monitoring system for vaccine injury and there won’t be the need for all these crazy opinions and beliefs. It’s needs to be thorough, accurate and transparent. That is step one and the one sure foundation from which a sound health policy could be built. How could anyone argue against that.

" . . . on RNA as a drug and as a vaccine from 1986 to 1989." from the article today.

clarification please.

I have been believing for at least 4 years that mRNA(Cov2 Pfizer jab) is not a vaccine but gene therapy.

Is this technically wrong? Obviously, Doc Malone must not believe that since this article refers to the mRNA-based jab as a vaccine with no caveats about being a gene therapy.

I am missing some nuance here. . .

ron's avatar

It's more a therapeutic, since it doesn't have the characteristics of an actual vaccine. No immunity, no prevention of transmission.

Did the cdc change back their definition of a vaccine?

Fisher153's avatar

yes, and there was an email train that shows the sophmoric discussion. i want the old definition back- a vaccine needs to protect against acquisition, not mitigate effects. changing definitions to meet a narrative is the height of academic dishonesty.

As my only dedicated reader here Drs MALONE (pledged to read every post), you know I have long worn out,

"Science is a method for testing claims and correcting errors."

My assertion is that Science in all sense died. The death knell was to tell the Control Group of the initial Trial it was time to go get your "real" vaccine, to be safe.

Without a control, we will never know, through science if there are any long term effects from the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, will we?

I ask it only as your application to join my cult.

pretty-red, old guy's avatar

and, I would say the death knell even preceded your noted event.

Maybe around the time back in the 60's?? when they started calling older vaccines, "controls", in their attempt to make relative comparisons rather than use REAL controls.

Minimizing the larger effects due to adverse events.

beccar1954's avatar

The Amish are an easy control to use. As far as I know, they don’t use vaccines.
