I am editing this paragraph into the essay - as I think this may be critically important line of investigation:
Another possibility rarely discussed is whether changing patterns of childhood exposure have altered immune tolerance. Previous generations growing up in tick-endemic regions spent far more time outdoors, accumulated far more environmental exposures, and likely experienced repeated encounters with ticks and tick-associated antigens from an early age. Modern allergy research increasingly recognizes that the timing and context of exposure can influence whether the immune system develops tolerance or sensitization. Whether a similar process contributes to alpha-gal syndrome remains largely unexplored, but it raises an intriguing question: has something changed not only in the ticks, but in us?
It would seem that, just as with Covid, a healthy immune system is vitally important in the fight against disease. Excuse me while I go take another shot of D3 and walk barefoot in my garden.
Yeh, I remember coming home from an afternoon in the woods with my dog and then spending time picking tics off both me and her. Same thing later when I had horses. I concluded they must hang out in trees cause I’d come back from a trail ride with them and my feet had never touched the ground.
Excellent review. The media, including social media, feeds on controversy, emotion, repetition and retransmission. It doesn’t have an inquisitive or rational filter. This leads to a lot of flash-in-the-pan hysterical overreactions.
It seems to me that the hypersensitive immune system may be the enabler.
We see this in the Covid mRNA shots. We see it in so many other reactions to
'treatments' that are being given to people. Often these treatments and Covid shots come with an immune suppressor (like prednizone). Too many 'treatments' are playing with the immune system (childhood vaccination schedule for example).
We were much better off when we let the natural immune response happen without 'medicine'.
That would be my guess too. And may explain reluctance to examine stored specimen sera...may see correlation of activity with childhood jab schedule, something Pharma certainly does not want to see
I learn so much from you about how important it is to know how to ask multiple varied questions to investigate a situation. I only wish more scientists knew how to dig deeper instead of coming to a quick conclusion = discussion settled. Is this a symptom of not wanting to investigate because it is too much work and not enough compensation?
My unscientifically tested guess is that this is related to adjuvant used in vaccines. Adjuvants are used to stimulate the immune system to react strongly to an otherwise benign antigen (typically a protein or epitope of a protein from an infectious agent). But there is nothing to stop the hyperstimulated immune system from over reacting to other harmless antigens. That's why more than half the population is walking around with autoimmune or allergic conditions. The Alpha-Gal reaction is similar to the gluten intolerance in Celiac disease sufferers. I hate to keep saying it but it all keeps coming back to vaccines.
Right. actually. I was tested for that (tested Neg) when I was having all my issues w/ Bowel. etc. all of it turned out to be I had a lesion in my sigmoid colon .. before Covid.. and it was removed and I am well :) now. compared to then.. I don't think it does come back to vaccines.. all the time. I have experienced a chunk of life and worked in medicine way before Covid and I studied "immunology" .. we have an immune system to protect us.. it is Hyper stimulated in today's environment..
Doesn't it boil down to one very basic medical fact. Immune systems of Americans are becoming more degraded for a variety of reasons, and with that, new disease states are being documented.
A whole and vibrant immune system is the number one defense against all pathogens.
mRNA injections have accelerated the negative progress. After WWII, Americans survived with victory gardens that provided organic food. Negative Lifestyle issues have increased, Overmedication and lack of good nutrition including a diminished Vitamin D blood level has all contributed to the current decline in the health status of Americans. Well documented in the NIH study released in 2017 called. Lifestyle Medicine, A Brief Review. Can we not come to a understanding how to evaluate immune system viability and correct accordingly? RFK Jr. understands what needs to done, but the push back is intense. My Senior friends yesterday said. He is not a doctor. Therefore he doesn't belong as the head of NIH. Interestingly, no body said that about Alex Azar, a lawyer working for Lilly. Nor the Wisconsin governor, Nor the University President. Spin Spin Spin.
You right on.. since the so called "allergic" rxn seems like other allergic rxns.. the HIVES.. or like one your commentators said: the immune system" and the finding of the so called ALPHA GAL syndrome is as we say in Medicine.. an "incidental finding" which seemingly correlates to the Tick bite of the Alpha Tick.. which happens in the summer and spring.. peak time for other BUGS and PESTS. I like you, doubt it. Thanks :)
Thank you for this extensive rational discussion. It is an effective counter to a gut level suspicion that alpha-gal is a Gates - WEF level attack on our ability to eat meat.
That recognized, one wonders if NIH has recognized its opportunity to timely investigate the issues you've covered. There are potential benefits beyond the alpha-gal questions themselves. Perhaps they have something underway. We would be pleased to learn such.
Your clear, detailed and coherent analysis is very welcome! If NIH doesn't already have such a service, imo they should have. The timely and thorough analysis would help in focusing, prioritizing and advising the public on consideration being given.
Looking forward to your "What to do, at this point."
Well. There goes a pillar undergirding my "Gates is a globalist fiend" narrative. I'm not abandoning the narrative, however; no, not at all. When it comes to that, I'm dug in like a... well, you know.
We recently read other articles with alternative explanations of Allpha-Gal. These are plausible and relate to vaccines as culprits or at least triggers. The explanations do not require the use of ticks:
1. DO NOT inject anything into your body or the bodies of your loved ones! If you’ve already done so, STOP.
2. Do all you can — naturally — to be as healthy as you can.
3. Do not take health advice from mainstream doctors, media, government, or the medical/pharmaceutical mafia. They lie or mislead, either intentionally or unintentionally. Regardless, they are not to be trusted. Always ask “cui bono — who benefits?”
4. Share the truth with as many people as you can. Silence is complicity. Complicity kills.
Thanks for the lesson about Alpha-Gal and the syndrome and the lone star tick. I am pleased to say that, living in the pine and oak barons of Central Wisconsin that so far I have not seen a single tick (I am sure that will change). Formerly I lived in the Driftless Area hills of South Central Wisconsin. It was called Lymes Disease central by area doctors. encountered and removed many ticks from me and my dogs. Mostly "dog ticks" in the early years later the deer ticks. I knew many people who had Lymes undiagnosed for years and had big problems because of it. I never needed more than a course of Amoxicillin once in a while. I had dogs so there was always the antibiotics in the house. We also worried about Chronic Wasting Disease in Deer and never ate meat from close the the spine or head. Usually one could spot if there was something wrong with a deer and report it.
Greetings from the Thumb Coast of MI! As a student of United States history, from before the "discovery" through the 19th century, many of the books that were required reading mentioned that recent emigrants who arrived to settle in "untamed" land suffered from a "seasoning period." Many died, some survived with physical frailties lifelong; only a few escaped -or remained unscathed from the "seasoning." In time, the mosquito was discovered to be one culprit that contributed to the fever, chills, and many deaths. Undoubtedly, the tick was considered a possible culprit but not pinned as to the precise symptoms and long-term post contact effects of illness and debilities. What seemed interesting to me then - and now - is that newcomer settlers from Europe experienced frequent bouts of "seasoning" episodes and epidemics, well noted and chronicled in correspondence, official records., etc. Nowhere in my reading did I see recorded that the indigenous people suffered similar responses, albeit they suffered illness and deaths from diseases brought to the colonies by Europeans; i.e., measles, chicken pox, scarlet fever, to list a few. This lack of information is curious; anyone among this loyal readership have information that enlightens? Perhaps those long settled in the wildness of the Americas had adapted over generations, or had they access to an antidote not available to the Europeans? Questions abound! Sla0inte!

another good suggestion for MS or PhD research thesis topic
Thank you! We know I have been bugging you to do this. Pun intended.

right. A whole and vibrant immune system is the number one defense against all pathogens. exactly right

And here I just assumed that this was what infected Hillary and caused her to wanna be a dude!
silly> michelle orama is the dude
I like the new colored info graphics panels above at topside beginning the essay.
It sets the stage as intrigue for us as inquiring minds.
Lord knows we are a hungry bunch for knowledge cast and crew.

Clearly zero medical knowledge here....yet:
•Well-known Gates Mosquitos fly around.
•Meat is scorned by the WEF.
•Ticks not weaponized yet?
Standing by for professional medical conclusions.
