I simply don’t understand why there isn’t a push to keep medical records between doctor and patient. Before digitization, records were on paper and private. If this were the case now, there would be no chance of cataloging a population like cattle for purchase. I can see how technocrats would fight this and how insurance/financial interests would fight it and even medical researchers would fight it - but it would be true decentralization and put power back in the hands of the individual. And without it, we are just heading down a chute for slaughter as someone else’s product.
me too totally agree, particularly as someone who is on Medicare (with supplemet) now and what we witnessed with covid, old people put in closed off nursing home; hospitals during covid misleading about cause of death etc. Next year I may quit all insurance and pay independent healthcare professionals. We have Medicare for those things our doc cannot do. Our doc is a DPC = Direct Patient Care physician and we pay him for his services. He has traveled around the US training other docs, but there are still so few who can afford to go out on their own until their clientele are built up. Not every country can be like America. Call it naiveté or arrogance it has backfired more than once through history. Through this we have created an enemy now that hates America and is doing all it can to destroy us and we still allow China to make billions dealing with us. Humanitarian issues there have been brought up for years but when there’s money to made that falls to the back burner pretty quickly. Decoupling from this country cannot happen fast enough.

As horrific as this is, it is tip of the iceberg in regards to evil working overtime in this fallen world. Trump cannot do it by himself, so it will take an all government effort to weed out the bad actors, and it will take at least 16 straight years of Republican rule to right the ship from a government perspective—that is IF the GOP are hard core patriots of America and not wimpy politicians as they have proven themselves to be.
The real battle is spiritual, and the hearts of the children need to be regained by pointing them to Christ, and families returning to God and His Word. That means pastors preaching the unadulterated word of God. But those who continue lawlessness against our form of government, must be held accountable with arrests, prison, and multi-million dollar fines.

I simply don’t understand why there isn’t a push to keep medical records between doctor and patient. Before digitization, records were on paper and private. If this were the case now, there would be no chance of cataloging a population like cattle for purchase. I can see how technocrats would fight this and how insurance/financial interests would fight it and even medical researchers would fight it - but it would be true decentralization and put power back in the hands of the individual. And without it, we are just heading down a chute for slaughter as someone else’s product.
me too totally agree, particularly as someone who is on Medicare (with supplemet) now and what we witnessed with covid, old people put in closed off nursing home; hospitals during covid misleading about cause of death etc. Next year I may quit all insurance and pay independent healthcare professionals. Trumps good idea of giving people money (probably not those of us who qualify for Medicare) is hopeful.
We have Medicare for those things our doc cannot do. Our doc is a DPC = Direct Patient Care physician and we pay him for his services. He has traveled around the US training other docs, but there are still so few who can afford to go out on their own until their clientele are built up. I certainly hope the money is spread to those who need it. God bless.
yes that is sort of what I am considering with a small DO group in my area. I'll have to save a lot more and tighten budget more. I would keep Medicare for part A but staying out of hospital is my goal. Im also counting on the Golden Age in my Golden Years (smile)
