As I look at the % closeness, it indicates to me the effectiveness of mainstream news propaganda and the lack of public interest to delve deeper into these issues of policy. I can speak from personal experience, and this is changing as the health of our country has declined. Thank you for the info!

earl's avatar

The fact that it's this close maybe says that the old MSM is actually losing it's grip. They've thrown everything at us and here we are. At least I'd like to think so.

Larry Cox's avatar

I think we'd have to see a trend over time to know if opinions are really being changed by media messaging campaigns. And we'd have to know when various campaigns started or ended.

D D's avatar

I see a "trend" about opinions being changed by media messaging campaigns! Don't you remember when all the media on T.V. voiced the same message? Mass Formation at it's best!

Larry Cox's avatar

At my girlfriend's place, we get two "analog" TV channels and a bunch of streaming channels. Corporate messages still dominate the streaming and non-streaming media I watch. At my home I don't have any TV.

The "alternative" media has always been more diverse. That IS a change. But Big Pharma (at least) have been fighting back since they got the privilege of advertising non-over-the-counter medicines on TV in 1983.

Thanks again Drs Malone. Where else can we find so much public information so well summarized!👏👏

This was initiated by Jill and me over dinner with supporters the night after the recent Rogan hit.

We don’t know How you two have time and energy to write like you do but we are grateful. “Thank you for your service!” 👏👏

The Rogan interview almost felt like retribution for the crap you've endured. You notice I said almost...

I would not have voted as that group did! It’s time for real change, and I see it coming. So glad the younger generation is seeing reality! MAGA MAHA! Yes! Everything needs to change! Vaccines! Our food choices. Why do we need bioengineered ingredients in whole milk Greek yogurt!?! I noticed that for my breakfast yesterday! However, every baby step is in the right direction! For the record, I will be 80 in December! I decided time to tell!😊! Thank you, Dr. Malone, for the report.

Big E's avatar

80 is the new 40, and you're way smarter than the average 40 (or 80!)

Margaret Allison's avatar

Thanks Big E. I don’t feel it except when I sit too long! The bones tell me. This is totally off subject but I started back at the gym last Monday a week ago. My goal is to do what I did at 75! Bike 18 miles in 45 minutes! Level 6! Any takers? I’m easing back in to workout by biking for awhile. 🤔

LB (Little Birdie)'s avatar

Oh my Margaret. You are a go getter. I started back to gym the 1st of Jan. So far I am up to 6mi. at level 6 *and I'm just 75. Yikes. I'm also doing that crazy machine that acts as a cross country ski workout - forward/backward, it really does a number on the legs. So far on that only up to 6min. and 6min. on rowing machine. Plus usual weight bearing equipment. I feel like I'm stronger than last year, but with a ways to go.

You GO girl!!

Margaret Allison's avatar

You go Sonia and President Trump. Another man in our church denomination turns 80 in June. We tease each other about our age!! That was an awesome speech last night. Everyone should be “proud to be an American “ or “go home”!

Sonia Nordenson's avatar

President Trump and I will get to 80 six months before you, Margaret!

James Lord's avatar

I do marvel at Democratic Party moral flexibility, and ability to turn on a dime at a moment's notice. I thought back to when Biden/Harris expressed revulsion at any "vaccine" Trump had anything to do with. Weirdly, I agreed with them here, as I wanted nothing to do with it. But then after stealing office, the Biden/Harris position became "Take the vaccine bigot, or lose your ability to earn a living. Take the vaccine, bigot, or face a winter of severe illness and death."

It would be darkly humorous if it weren't so infuriating.

LB (Little Birdie)'s avatar

Yes, all that was on full display during SoftheU address last night. I loved when the President turned to them and said "you are all crazy". I was wishing that wonderful video placed in the Sunday memes here about the 'Orange Man' had been running behind the podium for the entire speech. So appropriate!! I doubt they would get the nuance tho.

Suddenly I've seen several articles written about disgraceful food products, something I'd never seen before. Plus coverage about food dyes. A tiny bit of courage, but nice to see.

Amazing numbers for MAHA considering all of the negative press from the familiar sources. Wondering if Senator Cassidy is scratching his head with his primary approaching.

Ya know what, Big E, these petitions, I've signed so many these 5 years. Do they DO anything? I wonder if they just muck up the system, create Paperwork. I wonder also, do they make us Armchair Warriors THINK we've done something, pat ourselves on the back, and go back to our otherwise Don't Make Waves lives? I mean why are all these %'s so 50/50 at this point?

LoverOfHills's avatar

CircleOfMamas.com - I challenge folks - to use this site to purchase a stack of cards that show a comparison of vaccines in 1983 vs 2025. 50 cards for 10.00.

Also, buy their card that details how much Aluminum is in each vaccine - also, 10.00 for 50 cards.

BUY these cards - Give them out to Boomers! Give them to random folks. Put them in your church pew!

Of all the Resource cards I've handed out these years (about 3000 business size cards with 10 key "resources", FLCCC, Docs Malone, CHD etc..), these 2 cards I've listed - folks WANT them, when I tell them I have them. I usually keep them in my car - they don't fit in my pocket. I've gone out to my car to get them, many times.

LB (Little Birdie)'s avatar

I LIKE this. There are many places these could be placed or handed to someone. Public bathrooms at Sports Arenas/Gyms/Churches/Restaurants/Grocery. Dressing rooms, bars. Yes, I can imagine some dummy who throws them all in trash, but even if only 1 or 2 are picked up!?

Big E's avatar

Only you can decide if this petition will help. Just getting this material out into the open and into the hands of Senate could make a difference. If all you do is sign petitions, then no, you might not get the desired results. Given the backers of this petition and its content, we think it's worth your time.

Petitions don't have to be an either/or thing. Your suggestion below for cards and other active efforts is excellent too!

This is good news! It absolutely shows the Dems are suffering from TDS! It doesn’t matter is he cured cancer they wouldn’t take the medicine to save themselves. I was a little shocked that 65+ wasn’t in favor of changing the vaccine schedule. I’m in my later 50’s and I fully support each and every mandate they are trying to instill. What I also think this shows is everyone wants accountability in the people who we entrust to make the right decisions that keep us healthy. It also shows that the Dems can’t keep counting on Blacks and Latinos as automatic votes anymore. They have seen what decades of support for the democrats has gotten them and how racist their policies really are. I’m happy that the youth seems to be waking up too. We need them to keep up the fight!

Older people tend to stick with what they “knew” about other pharmaceuticals besides the jabs.

So much more has been learned about immune processes since the jabs were conceived. The practice of jabbing people with multiple products at a time, and the various jab schedules remind me of the six foot rule. They are proclaimed and everyone follows.

Greetings - all - from MI's Thumb Coast! Thank you, Dr. Malones, et al, for conveying the results of this poll. It's a worrisome time currently, the legacy media pulling a scrim over any noteworthy information! I feel a glimmer of sunshine and hope that - perhaps - we are not as divided nor in the minority as the tooters of doom would have us believe. FYI y'all, I have not taken a vaccine since 2015. Instead, I have focused on good nutrition, exercise according to the season and weather (outside/inside), sleep, and activities with family and friends. No colds, no pneumonia, did have 2 bouts of COVID lasting each five days-but vital signs and weight remain stable at appropriate numbers! My husband and I in our 9th decade; currently, he is out snow pushing the latest and I prepared homemade potato leek soup and Irish soda bread and fresh fruit for our supper. Rath De Ort!

I find POTUS a blunt instrument, egotistical, a true patriot and far and away the most competent President in my lifetime. He is a master at surrounding himself with amazingly competent people. Much like himself, he is not burdened with choosing only the most credentialed from their profession's finishing schools. He values merit over physical characteristics. Labeled a misogynist, he has more women in prominent positions than any prior POTUS. What I like most about POTUS, above all else, is that he gets shit done. It is frightening to imagine where we might be with Harris/Walz at the helm.

earl's avatar

One observation: the 65+ group has more faith in the old institutions. Perhaps this is because they remember WW2 when large scale government was necessary to win a war and actually did good things. They remember polio and believe vaccines alone was the fix - they trust public health.

Laura's avatar

Go to any assisted living center or nursing home and you will see that a predominance of isolated people over 65 get their information from TV and cable news, still trust the NYT and AP unquestioningly, and so forth. A lot have the TV on all day and believe that what is on TV is an accurate representation of reality. Same if you do home health visits. Old habits and trust in certain media hold up for a lot of people. If you are older and are a born skeptic or had a wake up event, this may have changed for you, but a lot of people do not question things. If you try to tell them that certain things are not accurate, they discount what you say because it does not fit their world view and does not correspond to what they see on TV.

Barbara Williamson's avatar

It was not that long ago that both Presidents Clinton and Obama were filmed touting the need for closed borders and voter ID. Why then do they now stand with the radical, Communist Left, that insists on open borders and no voter ID? It is because they want to increase the number of Democrat voters by encouraging illegals, being helped by Dems to come here illegally and then expecting them to vote for Democrats. The increase in census numbers give them a chance at more seats in the House of Congress, and the lack of ID allows aliens to illegally vote for them more easily. Isn’t it amazing, that those who scream the loudest - “NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW!” - do the most cheating? Sad to say, the Left is filled with LAWBREAKING LIARS!!! And this does not bother them at all. They would gladly assassinate anyone to be sure they are able to continue their illegal activities and remain in, or regain, power and continued access to all the billions of taxpayer funds to use as their “petty cash” for all manner of ludicrous endeavors. How do you think Social Security got filled with IOUs and on the verge of insolvency? SS was NEVER supposed to be used (nor taxed) for anything other than retirement payments. See how the fraud of Minnesota Somalis fits right in with Democrat ideology! They turned a blind eye to it.

(B-T-W…I never refer to any Democrat as “Democratic” as they are anything BUT! I wish the media would do the same.) Did you know that Lincoln was the first Republican President? (I bet they don’t teach that in fourth grade anymore.)

Peri's avatar

It surprises me how many voters 65+ are in favor of staying with the status quo when it comes to vaccines and children’s health, and unfavorably disposed towards RFK Jr. This generation raised children with a much lower vaccine exposure, and they remember JFK’s presidency and his assassination and that of his brother.

LB (Little Birdie)'s avatar

Does and does not surprise me. I swear, the over 65 are more stubborn sometimes than a teenager. Stopped to talk with an acquaintance I've known here in neighborhood for over 30 years. Her son/daughter babysat for us. She's been in for several tests now for Alzheimers and I can tell she is frightened. I mentioned several ideas (from reading here, plus what I have researched). I could almost feel her rolling her eyes and her response was, "I have a niece in Neurology who is advising me." Sigh.

Joy Metcalf's avatar

It surprised me as well. Yet I suppose its understandable since they were raised to treat doctors almost as gods. Doctors spoke, and it was holy writ. Since I'm part of that group, I can only look around and thank the stars that I am part only by age and not by disposition.

weedom1's avatar

The efficient delivery of COVID propaganda filled them with fear.

Some are or have been in situations where they must be jabbed to get needed care, which might affect responses.
