Rational thought is returning to the medical community? AAP is an extension of the deranged drug manufacturers that push profit over good health decisions. They endorse statin drugs as the solution for treating teenagers that are obese rather than addressing life style changes that are the root cause. RFK wants to address the root causes and is being targeted for removal from a position of authority that he is well suited for. His struggle needs the support of all to achieve the goals that will make America healthy again. There could be a huge demand for independent family practitioners in the near future, as people seek to keep their kids away from pediatricians.
As an agnostic am unhappy with the concept of,religious exemptions as there are other and much better reasons for rejecting dangerous medical treatment that these tend to gloss over
I am a Christian and hate religious exemptions because in the case of medical procedures, they are discriminatory and mandates are wrong. Forcing medical procedures on people, no matter what their faith or non-faith is, is immoral.
Ideally a non-delirious person should be able to refuse a medical intervention (for just themselves) for any reason.
Please do not throw away a useful tool while in search of the perfect. Religious exemption provided somewhat of a control group in this COVID case.
(There are some think tanks that seem to raise funds and extend their life by demanding the perfect solution and bypassing incremental improvements. I have moved away from some of these.)
The religious exemption allowed many to escape the fear ridden tyrants who knew they could have 10+ years of constitutional lawfare after forcing the jab on a person who could write a religious objection. The COVID jab was new platform, which was easier to address singly by means of religious objections. It was addressable from a number of different angles. In order not to lie, the religious exemption requests needs to be tailored to each person's personal code. (However I hope that lies to save lives are forgiven.)
Medicine is inherently discriminatory. Those with greater understanding of medicine can advocate for themselves, and they expect and they get better treatment. I teach non medical people some good questions to ask, to enhance their prospects when seeking treatment. People die when they can or will no longer advocate for themselves, even to their closest caregiver.
The religious exemption favors those who understand their own personal code, (theistic or not) as well as the jabs or other issue, and can write about it. To the tyrant, a well written religious exemption implies the possibility of future lawfare. Fear is what replaces a moral conscience in that kind of individual.
I am not rich nor influential, but was still able to help some people write and spare themselves from the jab. These are some of the 'best' pharmaceutical interventions of my career, to recommend against those jabs, and to help some people to avoid them.
(Years ago I had already 'shot my flare' and was cancelled for the "sin" of objecting to medical/pharma killing. More recently I could not get traction for my online advice to people regarding the COVID jabs, and that was frustrating. Religion is the set of beliefs that governs the lifestyle. The religious exemption applies to all who live by a code, whether it is theistic-associated or not. Buddhism is a non-theistic religion, for example, so they might or might not honor a Deity according to their own understanding. Buddha is not the Deity.
The U.S. interpretation of religious exemption applies to all personal religions, theistic or not, although tyrannical institutions have tried to narrow this especially with respect to jabs. Some Catholic university administrators sinned egregiously in this manner (according to their own precepts).
