Well.....when it rains, it pours.

"Pesticide contamination is a growing and alarming concern for both the environment and human health."

Unfortunately, not for politicians or chemical manufacturers.

And while it's good to see studies, we've known for decades that they've found pesticide residues in the atmosphere over Antarctica, where there is no farming. I'd love to think new studies will grab the attention of governments, but money talks and the din is amazing.

Through reading, we might gather accounts of government tolerating or even promoting the poisoning its own; accounts of government driving us to madness.

And then we are witness to congressional hearings with an RFK, wherein purportedly elected reps piously scramble for the moral high ground. It's damn near unwatchable. Then again, there is some comedy in watching their absurd gotcha questions dismantled with RFK's simple common sense replies.

Concerning schizophrenia, the psychiatrists Abram Hoffer and Carl Pfeiffer successfully treated schizophrenia with nutrition. There are some doctors who follow their protocols. So yes, schizophrenia is modifiable. Even if there is a strong genetic component, biochemical individuality, which can be genetic and affect nutritional needs, can be addressed.

Joy Metcalf's avatar

Genetic propensity has always been overplayed. Years ago, before the science of genetics was born, it was "it runs in the family". In my own family, diabetes runs rampant. Now we know there's a genetic link. But even before the term epigenetics , was coined, my mother watched her diet, exercised, and took great care of herself. Her brothers, sister, and mother were all diabetic, she was not, and she lived to 93, outliving everyone else in her and her mother's generation, and several in mine.

Remember “acid rain”?

Yes, and if you believe in chemtrails, we don't stand a chance. We have not been good stewards of mother earth and it has come back upon us. Until we stop making the chemicals, they will always be in our ecosystem.

Denial of the risks in order to make money and scare the crap out of farmers and their yield, has made us a walking risk factor instead. This will eventually catch up to us in so many ways. (sorry, it already has). All the more reason to take care of our health as so many people don't want to hear this truth. I just read someone on X disputing the effects of glyphosate by rationalizing (rational lies) and that is what I heard from someone who used to be on your sub stack, when I challenged her excuses about using the product. ARGH

And our pets. Have had 7 dogs and all but 2 died from some form of cancer. Now being told our older cat may have liver cancer. There is not nearly enough care with or monitoring of carcinogens in our environment.

Joy Metcalf's avatar

Not just the carcinogens. Cats are known to develop cancerous tumors in the injection site. They are now often vaccinated in their tails so that when the cancerous tumors form, they can just lop off the tail. I'm surprised they're not doing that to dogs, too. My dogs are rescues and haven't had a vaccine since I got them.

A few years ago, I lived near NY and went to see a wonderful vet for my 3 little dogs - Dr. Marty. I haven't vaccinated any of my pets at all since then, most lived long lives (18 years the longest) and all had to get the rabies vaccine every 3 years (which I hated) by law. Dr. Marty now sells healthy dog food and we use that. Our pets are not on any flea or tick remedy, but we do use essential oils a little (in a safe way - maybe on their colors - but very little). We use diatomaceous earth (food grade) around the outside perimeter of our home. I have had rescues and purebreds and mutts and never had an allergic reactions on any of them. Some shed and some did not. Anyway, I just reread Dr. Marty's book again - and boy... some very interesting vaccine info (this was written in the 80's I think. Still viable today.

Commercial dog food is the worst, homemade is definitely the best. Many of my large dogs made it to 16, 17 and 18. The same healthy food rules apply to them. I recently started eating organ meats again, like I feed my dogs and I feel much better.

Cloud seeding and recycling of toxic molecules through climate cycling needs to be addressed and stopped. Stop fooling with mother nature. More important is the second article, which only states life style issues contribute to brain deficiencies and doesn't address how nutrient deficiencies are a major contributor. Testing for them through blood analysis would be beneficial in my view. If you examine the root causes of Post Partum depression, you will discovered they are rooted in nutrient deficiencies. Our wise medicine men only use drugs to control the symptoms. Not the answer.

SSRI's are major revenue generators and the harm created is ignored.

I agree - it could have gone further. But from the paper, this is what they did study, in terms of physical components:

They assessed "four physical components (blood pressure, hemoglobin A1c, cholesterol, and body mass index)" and "five lifestyle elements (nutrition, alcohol, smoking, aerobic activities, and sleep)."

Non-related: The three social factors were stress, relationships, and purpose in life.

Pesticides? How about heavy metals? nano-tech, graphene oxide, other toxic sludge? All of it is being sprayed on all life on earth. It's in the air, water, soil, on our skin, in the animals we eat, the plants we eat...........you can't avoid it. Climate change BS, blocking out the sun, weather modification, weather weaponization. Military, Bill Gates, WEF, WHO, all forms of government and other evil entities that want us dead. So how do we stop it? Florida supposedly passed laws that don't allow commercial/miliary planes to spray in their skies. If that's true, why aren't other states following suit? I've lost count at how many petitions I've signed to get this stopped. I feel all our concerns and cries fall on deaf ears and now that you are no longer part of that team with Bobby Kennedy Dr. Malone, not sure I have any hope that it will be addressed much less stopped. You were a very powerful force on the MAHA team. I wish you stayed. :(

Louisiana was the first to outlaw commercial/military planes to spray in their skies.

Agree but IMO Dr M is more effective without the commitee constraints. Chemtrails and related need serious and rigorous actions to stop. The funding for these projects are indirectly coming from us the very same people that oppose them.

Kelly's avatar

I'm curious. Could you clarify that last sentence? Are you saying our tax dollars is what is funding our demise?

Karen Baetz's avatar

I feel like this is another way to side-step the geoengineering programs that poison the air we breath, the water we drink and the soil, which poisons the food we eat.

Interesting topics. Thank you.

Pesticides. Assuming current pesticides cumulative presence in the atmosphere has or will eventually reach concentrations harmful to humans and creatures, action needs to be considered. Current answers to glycosate have included less toxic pesticides. It would seem these too would likely share the problem of atmospheric contamination. Likely the EPA/USDA should keep this issue in mind as they invested in searches for answers to pesticide issues.

Schizophrenia & Bipolar evaluations as relating to interventions.

Have experienced exposure about and to these pathologies. Manic Depressive dad. Volunteer overnight telephone emergency service. Volunteer back locked ward visits in charitable psychiatric facility. College courses on psychology. As a Disability Examiner.

As for the hospitalized schizophrenics. As a visitor, some seemed normal and just wanted help to get out. Without detail and personal (trained) interaction - who knows. On a hot line - same issue - who is really at risk of suicide?

Certainly the authors observations as to who among the so diagnosed may hold promise for successful intervention rings likely.

Safe travels and a successful conference!

The meteorology behind the pesticide issue sounds the same as that of acid rain.
