I was injured by the HepB shot partial deafness in my right ear. Fortunately took up a phenomenal meditation practice, which miraculously healed it after 34 years of suffering. Another friend got Crohn’s disease from the HepB vaccination. It should be pulled completely and studied very carefully before allowing it on the schedule.

While I am pleased that Dr. Makary is planning to remove the covid shots from the childhood vaccine schedule & does not think the latest formulation is necessary, what he fails to mention is that thousands of children have already been injected with this substance, & no one has any idea of how these children may suffer from having received them. Additionally, they were never necessary to begin with. You can be reasonably sure that hundreds, if not thousands of boys are walking around with sub-clinical myocarditis, which may manifest as a sudden cardiac event at any time. If my memory serves me correctly. Dr. Makary was very much on-board with the jabs for all age groups. I was not supportive of any nominee that promoted these poorly tested, experimental products which, to date, have injured & killed thousands, which includes Drs. Oz, Bhattacharya, & Nesheiwat. The nominees should have been chosen from those that pointed out all of the harms & deficiencies associated with them. There were many qualified, honorable, & ethical doctors that could have been considered. My two cents....

The diagnostic skills of physicians must be used to reverse and prevent ill health issues from becoming life long captive treatments for the benefit of Big Pharma. Pharmacists have the dual role of making sure patients are not over dosed and are prescribed the correct medication and they also have the role of monitoring the over prescribing of multiple drugs that do more harm than good. Called polypharmacy. A major problem with our senior population and is responsible for falls and hospitalizations and earlier deaths. With Nsaids and heartburn medication being available without a prescription compounds the issues and all medications being taken need to be know to the pharmacist who has the responsibility to alert the patients physician to the potential harm caused by over medication. Diminishing the role of the community physician and the pharmacist by ignoring their role will do a great disservice to the American public.
Complex matter...I agree with you on this...but as a non-medical person myself (NO DRUGS) living an organic lifestyle...too many of us have learned to distrust the pharma/farma/medical system. Twenty years ago I was on a dozen meds...now zero for fifteen years. I know drugs are needed in some cases, but perhaps that system became too synthetic drug focused. Too many synthetic scientists that still cannot match the Mother Nature Scientist. IMO.
