“The apparent strategy was breathtakingly cynical: Find someone with the Republican senator’s name, put him on the ballot, and hope enough voters accidentally select the wrong man to influence the election.

The New York Times investigation puts Mary Peltola’s personal knowledge squarely under scrutiny. Her former campaign manager reportedly acknowledged that Peltola knew about the effort to recruit spoiler candidates, while documented communications link senior campaign aides and national Democratic officials to the operation. These are not allegations that can be brushed aside with another campaign denial.”

THE MEDIA BLAMED TRUMP. WOW. SHARE THIS ALL OVER.

10/28/26: Classic Dem obtuse maneuvering. They picked a U.S. state conducting a U.S. senate election that has an almost invisible number of citizens amongst whom they had to find someone with the same name as the Republican candidate (how many Eskimos are “Sullivans”?).

Wyoming and Maine were spared…

[FYI: Populations are Wyoming (~588,753); Vermont (~644,663); Alaska (~737,270); North Dakota (~799,358); South Dakota (~935,094); Delaware (~1.05 million); Rhode Island (~1.1 million); Montana (~1,144,694); Maine (~1.40 million); New Hampshire (~1.41 million).]

In some countries this would be called 'trying to pervert the course of justice'.

The ny slimes IS part of the lamestream media, and they actually ran this story. I'm kinda surprised they did.

I would have expected them to run it AFTER the election, like the big article that was run (By politico? Can't remember exactly) after the 2020 election entitled, "How we saved the 2020 Election," and which was a fairly detailed description of the illegal acts and dirty tricks demoncrats and msm outlets did to suppress Trump's chances. They are all on the same team.

BTW - an "interesting" late-breaking item re: this AK election-rigging drill with the fake sullivan is that the main source for the story, who is a person fired from the campaign a while ago, has just come out saying, "I retract everything I said about this, and I am no longer a source." Obviously the peltola campaign came to him/her with a big settlement after they found out he/she was doing this story.

Again, surprisingly, the ny slimes has apparently said, "Sorry, charlie. Too late"

Is there some "progressive" unhappiness with peltola?

Dare we say that, in addition to being traitors in the pockets of communists and islamists, Democrats are lying, cheating scumbags?

And that is,being too kind

You have to know that Lisa Murkowski is involved in this BS. It’s precisely the kind of underhanded garbage she would engage in.

I understand she just endorsed the demoncrat candidate for governor.

It is too bad that there isn't a way to remove RINOs rapidly, when they go against the party they are supposed to represent. She is absolutely the worst!

Some Republican Senate hopeful should legally change his name to obama and.....

I tried the same thing, to recruit a person to campaign against the California governor 4 years ago, but I couldn't find another person named Gavin Retarded Gasbag Newson.

If I remember right, the late senator Ted Stevens of Alaska lost an election because he was accused of taking gifts for his second home in girdwood, Alaska. I'm not sure, but I think it was a democratic administration governing Alaska at the time. Steven's was one of the longest serving senators at the time, and the charges were later dropped.

And the most important part, the charges were made shortly before the election.

The main stream media is the darkness that democracy goes to to die.

Linda's avatar

That is exactly true, David! The democommies would not be able to get away with a lot of their cheating and corruption if the mainstream media were not making up, supporting, spreading the lies and propaganda.

So THAT'S the meaning of the bezos post's motto!!

So it would seem.

John Kiriakou had a small history lesson on this in episode 12 on “John Kiriakou’s Briefing Room” on Spotify and YouTube.

JFK used this in his 1946 congressional campaign getting a 20 something year old janitor named Joe Russo to run against his opponent Joe Russo. He mentioned that you see the same name on the ballot a lot in Russia and India. But this tactic has been used before here. Very interesting

Wow. The depths of the democrats' evil treachery are being exposed. All I can say is, Thank God for honest people, courageous whistle blowers and media outlets and certain patriotic bloggers that dare to expose the truth. That includes the highly respected Drs. Malone. Thank you for posting this!

Thank you for covering this Alaskan charade! I am amazed at the lengths Democrats will go in pursuit of a win.

I was aware of the chicanery, before I learned of the DOJ response.

Would that the Democrats start receiving their just due punishments for their evil actions.

Hoping that, once again, our side has short circuited this latest scheme!

Devious, yes, but also clever. And why not resort to deviousness when the Party has the Ministry of Truth to reframe the vile as virtuous?

One more outrage thrown on the heaping pile of outrages. There seems to be no end to the deceptions, fraud and cheating. It is out in the open for all to see.

Nothing new. Years ago when John F. Kennedy was running for Congress as a Democrat against an Italian in Boston's predominately Italian North End, Kennedy's father found a person with the same name as his son's opponent to run too, thus ensuring Kennedy would receive the greatest portion of the votes to win the election.

Toni Headen's avatar

I should have read all of the comments before posting. I mentioned this after listening to “John Kiriakou’s Briefing Room” on Spotify/YouTube. He said that Kennedy didn’t really need it. He won with like (don’t quote me) 22,000 votes. The actual opponent Joe Russo got somewhere from 5 to 7000 votes and the “faux” opponent janitor Joe Russo got only 700 votes.

Jack Bergeron's avatar

The fact Kennedy won without the advantage of the intended deception doesn't absolve the deceit, the act to steal an election.
