The thing that scares me regarding AI is the unknown author and their potential bias or narrative. How do we laymen find this stuff out?
I own a medical billing company and we use whatever software the client has. When they have an EMR or EHR we use that if it is set up to transfer the information to a billing invoice.
When small practices that still own themselves come along, they may have a cloud based EHR, but not a billing system, so I use my version on my server.
The difference is, the biller must data enter all of the billing data from the chart note.
This is old fashioned medical billing, but it provides the biller with a level of knowledge about coding patterns that the current AI systems are not catching. Why could a technical biller see patterns that a sophisticated system cannot see? Could it be because the AI system is programmed to ignore them?
The best example I can provide to round out my question is this.
We have two separate critical care providers, internal medicine and family practice. They are sent the patients with the most co-morbid conditions in the Phoenix market by the hospital IPO's.
95% of the patients with chronic kidney disease also have hyperlipidemia, or vice versa.
So are the statins causing CKD or is CKD causing high cholesterol?
And the big question for me is why is nobody else asking this question since many are now aware of the cholesterol scam to sell drugs. My late mother was on statins and she died with acute kidney failure.
In billing we also see connections with other co-morbid conditions and diagnosis codes that define a patient as non-compliant with treatment plans. So if we as patients refuse to take a statin we must make sure that the provider documents why we are refusing or ask them to not code this.
There are two side to this issue in my opinion. The provider must cover themselves in the event that the patient is not forthcoming with history or other treatments. This is very common. Like when a patient wants a GLP drug (fat shot) LOL, they often lie to providers about other conditions. Then if the patient has a problem they blame and often sue the doctor.
So, while I believe the doctors must protect themselves with non-compliant coding when warranted, I think patients have to be forthcoming about their reasons for non-compliance and be clear with the provider about making sure this is in their chart.
When a patient refuses a vaccine, the provider can note that in the chart but they should not call it non-compliance since a vaccine is a personal choice.
If there are other opinions on this I would love to hear them. I am open to other ideas to make this easier to understand.

I own a medical billing company and we use whatever software the client has. When they have an EMR or EHR we use that if it is set up to transfer the information to a billing invoice.
When small practices that still own themselves come along, they may have a cloud based EHR, but not a billing system, so I use my version on my server.
The difference is, the biller must data enter all of the billing data from the chart note.
This is old fashioned medical billing, but it provides the biller with a level of knowledge about coding patterns that the current AI systems are not catching. Why could a technical biller see patterns that a sophisticated system cannot see? Could it be because the AI system is programmed to ignore them?
The best example I can provide to round out my question is this.
We have two separate critical care providers, internal medicine and family practice. They are sent the patients with the most co-morbid conditions in the Phoenix market by the hospital IPO's.
95% of the patients with chronic kidney disease also have hyperlipidemia, or vice versa.
So are the statins causing CKD or is CKD causing high cholesterol?
And the big question for me is why is nobody else asking this question since many are now aware of the cholesterol scam to sell drugs. My late mother was on statins and she died with acute kidney failure.
In billing we also see connections with other co-morbid conditions and diagnosis codes that define a patient as non-compliant with treatment plans. So if we as patients refuse to take a statin we must make sure that the provider documents why we are refusing or ask them to not code this.
There are two side to this issue in my opinion. The provider must cover themselves in the event that the patient is not forthcoming with history or other treatments. This is very common. Like when a patient wants a GLP drug (fat shot) LOL, they often lie to providers about other conditions. Then if the patient has a problem they blame and often sue the doctor.
So, while I believe the doctors must protect themselves with non-compliant coding when warranted, I think patients have to be forthcoming about their reasons for non-compliance and be clear with the provider about making sure this is in their chart.
When a patient refuses a vaccine, the provider can note that in the chart but they should not call it non-compliance since a vaccine is a personal choice.
If there are other opinions on this I would love to hear them. I am open to other ideas to make this easier to understand.

So sorry about the hate mail. Goodness, imagine Trump's mail box. Much like I admire you I am a big admirer of Dr. Lapado. A straight talking and a not for sale soul. Why the effectiveness and the risk/benefit of "vaccines" cannot be discussed and further studied is both a mystery and evidence of the cult belief Dr. Lapado references. Pharmaceutical developers are known repeat convicted felons with data obfuscation a mastered industry practice. How gene therapy injections became labeled as vaccines is a stand alone study worth conducting. I suspect, if vaccines did not enjoy product liability immunity, that labeling would never had happened.
Snake oil salesmen just went into Big Pharma, it seems to me. Making money for shareholders is an obligation of a company, but the first and most important obligation is to the customer using the product, which should do what it's claimed to do and not injure the user, in this case, the patient (even though insurers mostly pay the bill.) The worst part, (and one of the reasons I will probably never take another vaccine again) is that no manufacturer or producer should be shielded from liability for injuries that their product causes, given that the product is used in the manner intended.

Oh my word, it breaks my heart reading hate mail sent to you, from those that definitely do not care about “real, science” in reference to the past covid vaccines, & some “may” agree that a 6-month old baby should get a “series” of covid shots? I like to read the real, & true science about any & all vaccines; but, to this day, I will never get any flu shots; I did not need a covid vaccine; &, now I agree with my Daughter & her husband, vaccines for their daughters, & my only grand children, will never happen any longer!
