If James Madison's thoughts, that a constitutional republic will survive only depending on the honesty of the population which I believe is true, then this US empire is, indeed, coming to an end.
The corruption is so rampant as to be mainstream throughout our government bureaucracy as well as in the leadership. There WILL be a reset, but I doubt it will come in time to keep us on top.
Lawyers are the camels nose under the tent. Because of them we cannot understand our own laws without a law degree. All laws should be as readable as our Constitution which is the bedrock of our legal system but their bottom Line appears to be grounded in obfuscation.

Lenin was a generation or so ahead of Hitler in age. My recollection from reading Ronald W. Clark's biography a few years ago was that Lenin, while in exile from Tsarist Russia, hopped around Europe, including stints in Germany, Switzerland, London; setting up little nests of marxism and marxist press in what we think of as Free Europe today.
I would like to suggest that the same rule should go for every proposed spending bill government(s) at all levels make and subject to approval by citizen taxpayers.
James Madison was a founding person. Present-day Madisons, Jeffersons, Washingtons, etc., etc. are among us. The oppressions we experience are filtered and baloneyized to the point of hidden oppression. Donald J. Trump and a number of imperfect persons, like us all, has come to a point in life that he needed to do something. Simple. No baloney.
I finished reading Gibbon's book in August. I didn't realize at time of purchase that it was an abridged version, whittled down to a mere 1056 pages. That read will be a one and only.
The burnout period lasted until recently, when I began Michael Pillsbury's "The Hundred Year Marathon," recommended to me by someone on Substack, perhaps this very one (I can't remember). It's an explanation of the history behind our opening to China, and China's long game against the US. Long story short (gathered thus far) is that we thought China would be a useful Cold War partner in keeping the Soviets in check. We thought we'd play China, but China has played us. How very Sun Tzu.
12/14/25: "A mere 1,056 pages": You're a very lucky man. It would take me about an hour to rustle up a list of the histories that SHOULD have been abridged (without loss of quality/integrity). My guess is that I've quit on about 25 of them that, had they been sensibly abridged, would have been well worth reading to the end (book notes are filed under "To Pulp or Not To Pulp").
It was two COUNCIL on FOREIGN RELATIONS members - a Republican (Richard Nixon) and a Democrat ( Henry Kissinger) who "opened" Communist China in 1970 - by giving the store i.e., U.S. intellectual property, trade secrets and money - for cheap labor - resulting in the Commies buying TONS of U.S. debt with U.S. CASH; and the USA receiving NO Trade Surplus with Communist China since 1971 ( with possible exception of 1st Trump administration.
BTW, Michael Pillsbury is also a Council on Foreign Relations member...
The way the book reads, Pillsbury, who is no doubt one of a tiny percentage of Anglos who speak fluent Mandarin, acknowledges his past errors in assessment wrt China. Or at least pretends to.
In 1971 Kissinger met with Mao Zedong and the UN recognized the PRC as the government of China against US opposition, and the Republic of China withdrew from the UN.
When Carter recognized the PRC in 1979 and revoked the 1955 mutual defense treaty with Taiwan (effective in 1980) that led to the1980 sales of military supplies to China and negotiations to share military intelligence.
I still read some of these SS, just don’t comment. I did reply to your comment. Kissinger definitely CFR embedded, Nixon may have been wooed to be a member but he was never a Globalist. When he was on the House committee in 1948 that was wanting to interview Whittaker Chambers about Hess being a communist, it was through Nixon that Chambers eventually agreed to out Hess. Why? Because Nixon took the time to meet with Chambers on his farm and he found out that Nixon was also Amish.

Yes as Eisenhower's VP, he was openly anti-communist, but once he became our 37th President, his actions as regards U.S. DOMESTIC policy were de facto EXACTLY what the American Left wanted for over a century, vis-'a-vis adding ever more Un-elected and Un-accountable federal bureaucracies, including: In 1970, Nixon signed into law "OSHA" the "occupational Safety and Health Act," whose Un-elected bureaucrats became infamous for staging Gestapo-like armed raids on private businesses throughout the U.S.
Also in 1970, Nixon signed into law the "EPA" - "Environmental Protection Agency" via the "Reorganization Plan No. 3," (Naming "CFR" member) - William Ruckelshaus - as the EPA Administrator - and the FIRST edict Ruckelshaus made was to OUTLAW and permanently BAN the use of the chemical DDT insecticide - the mosquito killer par excellence as well as lice and typhus, that was used extensively in WWII in Europe to STOP the spread of lice and typhus. DDT was HARMLESS to humans, but Ruckelshaus outlawed it based upon Rachel Carson's book "Silent Spring" in which she claimed DDT was causing birds eggs to be thinner in wall thickness - this based on a study done in England...and the "EPA" expanded yearly with evermore rules and regulations that were STRANGLING US private businesses - that CREATES PRODUCTIVE things people WANT!
In 1971, via Presidential edict, Nixon imposed "Wage & Price Controls" (ostensibly to "fight inflation") - which is the preamble to full-on Socialism;
additionally in August, 1971, Nixon "DECOUPLED" gold from the paper dollar - allowing the paper dollar to "FLOAT" against foreign currencies (and) took the proportional lock off the treasury printing presses - which previously held the VOLUME of paper money printed to GOLD RESERVES.
In 1972, Nixon created the "Drug Enforcement Agency" - yet another WASTE of taxpayer dollars that to date has done NOTHING to halt illegal drug use (such OPOIDS - a drug similar to opium) that yearly kills a million Americans.
Nixon was definitely NOT one of my favorite U.S. presidents.
Its always the same thing...world leaders and others acquire money, which provides the wrong food, alcohol, drugs, etc. which wipe out the glands in their minds, which provide the ability to think and act rationally. i have been into nutritional research for almost 65 years..I studied the diets of rulers down through history...many were insane and perverted. . In Rome, the aqueducts brought water into Rome, which was loaded with lead...and the rulers drank alcohol from crystal containers...brain damage...Nero, Constantine and many others. These wipe out the Pineal Gland, our Seat of Consciousness.
"...the only way out for those who crave freedom and autonomy is to throw yourself into the task of building sustainable local communities." I wonder if in the future, these sustainable local communities will be thought of as savages, much like The Savage in Brave New World. Hopefully it will turn out better for us! A preferable model would be the Amish.
This is a grand and hopeful vision, but how "sustainable" are these communities, really? If a new conqueror swept through here, as the Europeans did in the Americas hundreds of years ago, would any of those communities survive? The indigenous communities of the New World were pretty good, but they did not survive the invasions of the Old World.
Quite an informative overview, thanks Doc - a service to the community! It has been noted by contemporary historians that empire collapse is consistently preceded by widening inequality between deluded elites and the oppressed masses. to wit:
In his new book “Goliath’s Curse”, Cambridge scholar Luke Kemp examines over 440 societies across 5,000 years and notes that people are fundamentally egalitarian but are consistently led to collapses by enriched, status-obsessed elites - leaders “who are walking versions of the Dark Triad”: narcissism, psychopathy, and Machiavellianism.
"History is best told as a story of organized crime. It is one group creating a monopoly on resources through the use of violence over a certain territory and population." – Luke Kemp
...and...
"There is one human story. Dressed in new clothing and using new tools, we endlessly relive it. If we read philosophy, literature, history, poetry, and theology – we see greed, hedonism, and hubris easily defeat empathy and reason."
- Chris Hedges – “The Last Act of the Human Comedy”
...and...
"The egocentricity experiment with human consciousness has run its course – its climax is our confluence of crises. Virtually all system solutions and ascension paths proposed by even the most enlightened among us fail to breach egocentricity’s stronghold. The forecast for our imminent extinction is well founded and arguably certain unless we BECOME something new. Metamorphosis is appropriate terminology here. At this Moment in history, ages of humanity can be metaphorically distilled into a litter of newborn kittens, blind from birth, whose eyes are now poised to open onto their world for the very first time….are we ready? This is our evolution."
On planet earth- it is the (generational) international Banking, Finance and Big Business (read, WALL STREET) connections and cross connections that truly rule; and a truly eye-opening book that names names, dates and all the gory details is THE WALL STREET TRILOGY by Anthony C. Sutton; a COMPILATION OF THREE WORKS: Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution, Wall Street and FDR and Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler.
Indeed - I got educated on all this around the turn of the century and have been tracking it since. Perhaps you've seen "All Wars are Bankers Wars" on YouTube.
Global Alliance rocks!!.....and speaking of rock ("Big Money"):
There is a book "The Collapse of Complex Societies" by Joseph A. Tainter. The conclusion of the book is that complexity destroys a society. As the society develops, problems arise. They are solved but the solution introduces additional complexities to the system. This repeats until the final problem or problems which break the system. At least that's how I remember it.
"...Collapse is fundamentally a sudden, pronounced loss of an established level of sociopolitical complexity. A complex society that has collapsed is suddenly smaller, simpler, less stratified, and less socially differentiated. Specialization decreases and there is less centralized control. The flow of information drops, people trade and interact less, and there is overall lower coordination among individuals and groups. Economic activity drops to a commensurate level, while the arts and literature experience such a quantitative decline that a dark age often ensues. Population levels tend to drop, and for those who are left the known world shrinks..."

The $23 Trillion Property Scam That Will Bankrupt America - Vexler
“This is 2007, 2008 magnified multiple times over,” warns Mitch Vexler, a commercial real estate developer who has gone forensic on America’s crumbling financial foundations. In today's interview, Vexler dismantles the narrative of stability.
He details a $23 trillion property overvaluation scheme, a $2 trillion commercial real estate cliff, and trillions in impaired bank loans—all while state auditors and attorneys general, he claims, have turned a blind eye for decades. The money to pay these debts does not exist.

I for one don’t believe the singularity will happen, I mean LLM’s are using Reddit and Wikipedia for over 50% of their data. As we all know dealing with anyone who gets their worldview from these 2 websites is a total moron. It just will be a really big super energy sucking woke moron. My opinion
And zero hedge had a great article Friday stating the energy needed for AI isn’t and won’t be available. 10 years of green net zero gutting energy production will take decades to turn around.
I agree, Unvaxxed Canadian. No one wants AI. And no World Takeover will happen without it.
Right, Left, Center. No one but Elon, and those who like RACEs (USA's and the world's corrupt politicans) - no sane, loving person wants to even self-check their groceries! We like each other. I love a person to check my groceries, so, I can talk to them, edify them, have a giggle together,.. we gain so much with each human interaction. We want More of that, not Less! Even techies don't want AI. States in the US, will hopefully, block President Trump's recent Executive Order, preventing states from regulating AI. States cannot let the Federal Govt - do what this EO states, basically, allow it to do whatever it wants to us AND to Doc Malone's stack points, Quickly. States can slow it down, so, it can be smartly used, regulated, limited, and/or trashed completely.
AI will be extremely limited, if not actually made criminal, based on the limited information it has been exposed to. And it will suffer from an energy limitation unless new forms of energy creation are developed, or drastic reductions in AI's energy consumption are accomplished.
Here is the thing though, we already derive a fair portion of our electricity from nuclear power. The SMR's are smaller and far safer, but it will take at least a decade to build them, maybe more as many are needed to energize society. I am pro nuclear SMR's. I think the pros outweigh the cons.
"It just will be a really big super energy sucking woke moron.” Fk, I can’t stop laughing 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I work in corporate live event production. My opinion from this inside perspective is that AI is currently mostly marketing and hype. Corporations are losing money on AI big time. MS Copilot is a joke. There is not enough power or actual human interest for AI to be winning. Humans like to create and solve problems and commune. Agentic AI + Bored Apes is not good math. Our nature will prevail because WE ARE nature.
There won't be enough SMR's built for as you said about 10-15 years, in terms of the scale needed to power AI. Michigan has received $1.5 billion from the dept. of energy to reopen its nuclear plant. Six of the twenty-four nuclear plants in the U.S. are in operation, and all would need to reopen. Google has a deal with Kairos Power, it is estimated one SMR will come online by 2030, those are only estimates, it has to be built first. The fastest way to close the time gap, is to reopen existing plants.
With what engineers? Our universities are DEI’ing themselves to death and are killing STEM. It’s as almost as if our foreign adversaries are rotting us out from the inside without firing a shot. I read some stem substacks about its insane what is going on in “higher” education
A heavy serving of mind bender today. Having departed grander things following HAL and The Prisoner, I'm lacking the grounding the Matrix offered and the other niceties you've referenced. I have been operating on love of country and a caring respect for many fellow citizens. That and, thanks to you, of some greater world contributors.
I do see your situation in VA offers possibilities for a compatible, sustainable community. On a grander scale of CA, NY, IL, MI, MD, et al - not so hopeful. The EU and the WEF? So much greed and hubris.
As an antique, I'm hopeful extinction will provide an escape route should disaster befall us. Loosing our community here would be a very heavy blow.
I do think, as long as humans continue to exist, there will be physical care, maintence and repair needs that will demand human services.
I agree the current depravity for a scorched earth portends disaster. That so many potential 'saviors' are so steeped with desires for supremacy they refuse to see the need to unite to secure vital objectives portends failure.
So, what to do? Be prepared for the worst? Pray for and work for the best? Be ever grateful we have each other!
From where we started after Rogan, you folks in particular and perhaps to some extent we have helped, make amazing progress. You were expressing much the same perspectives you describe here in grander terms back then.
So keep on keeping on! Workin' toward and 🙏 for decent outcomes. Snows, friends, families and happier seasons ahead. So many appreciations!
A note of correction, Jean, we are not antiques until we reach 100. Most of us are still vintage, albeit well on our way…But you seem to be on to something profound - “love of country and a caring respect for many fellow citizens.” That sounds like a good start, with some other tweaks and tunings along the way, spiritual revival, legal immigration and assimilation, and a pinch of Dr. Nash’s remedy, a few less lawyers and a lot less laws. And maybe law schools that focus a lot more on the spirit and not so much on the letter.
"Skilled tradesmen (and women) performing tasks that cannot be done by highly skilled robots - the few “physicals”- become the only people capable of compensated work"
I often think of this category as I worked in trades, as the ones who delivered all the stuff to the work from home crowd during covid. UPS couldn't work from home, DOT couldn't work from home Sanitation, firemen police and all the meal dash services.
My kind of people keep the heat on, the lights on, the water coming in and the sewage going out.
The company I worked for was a 24/7 operation that shut down for the Christmas to New Year holiday. our crew was expected to work on repairs or installations that could only be done during shutdown. Managers had meetings submitting their wish lists.
One new year the clueless HR person came skipping in all bubbly asking me if I enjoyed my hoilday.
I answered with a straight face, "I didn't, I spent it here"! She almost stuttered and kind of walked away.
I see us going backwards to the times of the kings and queens and the serfs doing all the tasks so royalty doesn't break a nail. That is what I see with billionaires wanting me to cut back on my carbon footprint while they increase theirs.
"...billionaires wanting me to cut back on my carbon footprint while they increase theirs." Bingo. Apparently they don't care if we notice, because they know there is absolutely nothing we can do about it.
All drugs (and vaccines) are toxic, it’s just a matter of dose. And all empires end, it’s just a matter of time. Prophetic statement! When man believes he can improve on Mother Nature and/or God's design and believe they are God' like then, yes! The Fourth Revolution will not end well. The harmony of all things on earth are continually being remodeled. From the macro level to the micro level. I think of the following to sum it up. Forgive them God for they don't know what they are doing. Will we transition the earth from carbon based to silicone based?. A real possibility.
But the problem is that we really are "godlike." Many people think that this is what Jesus was trying to teach us. He underestimated, it seems, our difficulty in understanding this properly. Our current predicament is fueled by criminals and supported by our own ignorance. If we all had the knowledge of God (which we in theory do), we would not need His powers. Knowing would be enough.
Every individual is a spark of the Divine, and if they really knew it, Churches would go out of business, the carrot and stick of reward and punishment would be ineffectual, pastors and priests would become obsolete. Two Thousand years of misdirection, for most.
Thanks for all you do for us on the Medical Freedom front. So glad you are working with the ACIP team. No doubt, it must take a great deal of patience to untangle another fine mess *we* have gotten ourselves into.
Your analysis is surely thought provoking and my attention was peaked with all the Bible references. I think you are myth-taken to suggest that the Babel story is myth, and not historical narrative, but your point is well taken. What was it Muggeridge said? Something about having educated ourselves into imbecility. Calling the secular intellectuals’ dream world “hubris” is being kind.
FWIW, I’m happy to go on record and predict that AI, in all its forms, will be exposed as over-rated, in terms of its benefits and (hopefully) its threats. It will always be flawed because its creator is flawed. It will offer a lot of information but be short on reliable truth, especially in the most important realm. The realm of the spiritual / meta physical.
Here’s a prediction of the future end and I would strongly caution against putting it in the “myth” category:
“But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”
Without going into details, I have been preparing for most of my 78 years for a major shift in civilization. And yet, not knowing when, I carried on with my life - what good is just sitting and waiting? I married, had kids, created a decent life. Now I have grown grands and two great grands.
I did feel that 1999 was a test - so I prepped because - why not? It wasn't all for nothing and I was grateful we dodged the bullet. But now, i am old and tired and I don't have the energy to prep for TEOTWAWKI - so, as any loving parent would want, I would like my great grands to get a shot at having a good life. But how good can life be enslaved to demons?
All I can do is pray - deliver us from evil, shield us from tragedy and open our eyes, Lord.
Another one of your posts, Dr Malone, which requires deep thinking and reflection. I’ve been thing a lot lately about Ayn Rand and John Galt and his little valley of “hope”. At least that is what I envisioned it to be when I was reading about it. Could the world be saved by following this example? I would love to try it! I fear AI may push us to the brink of this. Our direction needs to change. We cannot continue on this destructive path. At my age, I will not see what transpires with our humanity. I can only dream.
If James Madison's thoughts, that a constitutional republic will survive only depending on the honesty of the population which I believe is true, then this US empire is, indeed, coming to an end.

One could also then ask: Did you find anything unconstitutional in S1210?
Agreed about laws being incomprehensible. They're also TOO LONG. Only one subject per law. Maximum 10 pages.
All purposefully done. We have had psychological warfare waged against us for decades along with corporate advertising. It's really hot and heavy now and pridefully continuing. Again, I side with Shakespeare when it comes to "lawyers."

Prepare to be PISSED OFF!!!
Global Alliance Publications (600 pages)
Indeed - I got educated on all this around the turn of the century and have been tracking it since. Perhaps you've seen "All Wars are Bankers Wars" on YouTube.
Global Alliance rocks!!.....and speaking of rock ("Big Money"):

I occasionally watch Gary's Economics on YouTube, I really like the guy, and his message aligns very much with your comment.
IF the lights go out - even for 6 months - all hell WILL break loose!
A lot of people start to die within two weeks with no electricity
Food would be scarce as would fresh water, fuel and meds
Best place to go is to water either lakes or the ocean
A lot of food in that water
You and thousands of others will have the same idea - like the coastal Indian tribes east and west.
Okay Tom I guess we’re all coming to your house
OKAY! LOL!!
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
Robert Frost, "Fire and Ice"
And then there's a nuclear war, which would wipe out most life on earth and allow a new beginning.
Bingo. Fire and ice. We're standing on the edge of the abyss.

Local taxing authorities have over done it. Not content with merely feathering their own nests, they have done so fraudulently and deceitfully in open violation of both strict legal rules as well as moral boundaries.

Link- this ridiculously UnConstitutional EO. Pres. Trump - love the guy, but geez, big mistake is this one. https://www.theepochtimes.com/us/trump-signs-order-to-prevent-states-from-regulating-ai-5957082?utm_source=ref_share&utm_campaign=copy
You are not alone in thinking this.
AI will be extremely limited, if not actually made criminal, based on the limited information it has been exposed to. And it will suffer from an energy limitation unless new forms of energy creation are developed, or drastic reductions in AI's energy consumption are accomplished.
Bill Gates opening 3-mile Island to power AI.
What could possibly go wrong?
Nuclear can and will power AI.
Eventually in like 15 years
There won't be enough SMR's built for as you said about 10-15 years, in terms of the scale needed to power AI.
The 200,000 engineer graduates per year.
Japan's failed Fukushima is still constantly spewing radioactivity into the ocean. Maybe it could be reopened? And Chernobyl too?
SMR's are far, far safer, and smaller. Not built yet. The navy uses nuclear to power their subs.
About a fifth of U.S. electricity is produced by nuclear power today.
Awesome. post.. I shared the post
Just look at Man Bear Pig, Al Gore for one.
Just a retired skilled tradesman venting,
Bill
"They," Thomas, knew EXACTLY what the hell "they" were doing to Jesus Christ.
But they didn't understand Who He was.
Yes!
Thanks again,
DS
Hopefully, Barbara, not nightmares.
I’m thinking positive!
GOOD!
Doc ended with a sly comment re: "...sooner than we think."
