What an incredible spectacle to watch on Wednesday, this small, pathetic, bureaucrat, shaking. A man who had no problem trampling the rights of millions of his fellow citizens, has been and continues to be paid millions of dollars and benefits by these same people, stays silent, hiding behind the privilege of an amendment written into that very same document that he had no problem tearing up into pieces when it came to the rights and the protections of the people, the same people that continue to pay him and his family, it’s pure mafia style corruption.
I am beginning to believe since reading a recent view of a writer who says that about 4 % of the population are sociopaths and that he is correct. Certainly, Fauci is a self centered egotistical amoral sociopath. This in turn implies that they rise to the top and become the heads of both private and governmental institutions and accounts for the amoral decision making that we are dealing with. Certainly holds true in political circles, medical world, military-industrial world and the bureaucratic world and more. LBJ, Rumsfeld, Clinton, Epstein and many more come to mind. The question is how do we weed them out? I realized I have a chapter in my book Seven Innocents (coming this fall) called "The Good to Bad to Evil". The Evil ones are the sociopaths that caused great harm. The fact that Fauci still has the backing of Congressmen and the Medicine man speaks volumes that we have a serious problem.
I think the only solution is to distribute decision making across the entire citizenship. How best to do that? By separating spending from funding. Elected officials get to propose spending but only citizen taxpayers should be able to agree to funding. Since nearly 100% of governance has a monetary component, off ramping the sociopaths at that critical juncture could very well provide the crucial balance needed to keep governments transparent, accountable, ethical and moral. Not without challenges but the alternative is where we are at with the most narcissistic psychopathic people rising to the top and gathering control . In a more unshackled capitalism, the consumer controls the guys at the corporate top. How? They just don’t engage, don’t buy, boycott, sue. Nothing’s perfect but the tension tends to pull to the side we want… the side that benefits the entire society. Specific to Fauchi, would he have survived 2020 if citizen taxpayers had been allowed to fund OR NOT the NIAID? Personally I think the number of citizens assigning their tax dollars away from him would have brought a screeching halt to nearly all the negative outcomes of COVID mandates. Representative democracy (ie the Republic) has finally run into a brick wall. The wall that says, “You can vote them in but what you are actually getting are the 2% least likely to act in your best interest!” The step change needed in our Republic is one that restores ownership to the citizen taxpayer… the one responsible for paying for all of it.
Yeah, sounds nice but utterly unworkable. This is why we have a democratic REPUBLIC, not a pure democracy, not a parliament, etc. The best way to achieve anything close to what you want is to 1) eliminate the 17th amendment and return the senate back to the state legislatures as designed (maybe with a couple tweaks, maybe not) and 2) term limits across the board.
Well, I think otherwise. I think it’s actually simpler than you might think. Nevertheless, I agree on term limits and go one step further: we MUST separate Congress from funding. That is the corrupting influence and we might start by eliminating lobbyists, PACs, and all election donations. Let everyone running get the same amount of funding and the same amount of media exposure and prohibit candidates from accepting any money from anyone. That along with no trading while in office would help squeeze the psychopaths who work for money. It won’t help with the psycho power hungry.
Barbara, if you think through what happens when the Senate is returned to the state legislatures AND term limits are put in place, you’ll see your concern about money in politics gets minimized. If not convinced, I’d add one other limitation: restrict political campaign contributions to registered voters and those registered voters may only donate to campaigns they can vote for. Which means you can only donate from on district from which you can contribute to local candidates/issues, county/parish/ etc, state wide offices, your Federal representative, senator, and everyone can donate to presidential campaigns. I’d put in place some seed capital from the governments for those candidates reaching a certain percentage of eligible voter support AND while I’d loosen donation caps I’d still retain some cap so that a single or group of supporters don’t buy an election. That limitation would apply to the candidates as well.
But turning over a core function of government is unworkable, unwise and dangerous.
You could be right. It is radical. But what is happening now needs a radical fix. Literally our voting for Mr X or Mr Y means nothing as they are completely controlled (most not all) by who funds them. I’ve never heard of dissolving the Senate and sending back to the states. I think we have given up too easily to the cream puff liberals. How about graduated housing. Entry level is free. You get a bed, a rain barrel and an outhouse. That’s it. Slightly better than living on the street. Next step when you can afford it: a bed, a table, a rain barrel and a solar system big enough to power a light, a fan. Next step… you get the picture. Am I crazy? I watch my neighbors live without electricity, city water, and indoor plumbing and do perfectly well. Then I watch unwed mother of 5 complain about her air conditioned apartment and spend her Snap benefits on her nails and beer. We just need to toughen up (for those that can, of course. ).
Right, can we apply that same principle to governance. We, citizen taxpayers are PURCHASING the governance we want. We should be allowed to pay for what we want to the extent that we want it! This would seriously control budgets and make them competitive for our dollars. It would also control politicians because they aren’t going to get the funds they want UNLESS citizen taxpayers adding them the funds. Who are they going to pay attention to ? Lobbiest OR their constituents. This is the step change needed in our Constitution.

It’s certainly his right but there was a Supreme Court ruling that a person that accepts a presidential pardon must testify without 5th amendment privilege, Josh Hawley mentioned it on Wednesday. By pleading the 5th he is obstructing an investigation and has put himself in jeopardy for a sentence of up to a year in jail. By accepting the auto pen pardon, which we don’t even know who granted it, he gave up his 5th amendment privilege so says the Supreme Court. He also could be stripped of his medical license, pension and benefits which wouldn’t be nearly enough as far as justice goes for someone who lied over and over again while people were dying by the millions because of a virus he helped fund in the Wuhan Lab. I would argue he is the biggest mass murderer in the history of America. A year in prison isn’t enough.

Janes, many live as if God and judgement does not exist. That is a terrifying mindset because all of us will die and face God. Hebrews 10:31 says, “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” God is Holy, Just, and Good, and there is no 5th Amendment to protect anyone before Him, as He knows OUR hearts and minds before we act, and has alteady judged us accordingly to His holy character.

I’ve spoken to the poll workers and many are incensed with the fact that ID is not required to vote in our elections. I hit the polls as soon as they open and have an election outfit that I wear which includes a rugby shirt I purchased almost 40 years ago from a store that no longer exists. It wears like the U.S. flag with stars on the right with a diagonal cut with the red and white stripes. The shirt has lasted this long because I only wear it on elections and federal holidays like Memorial Day, the 4th of July, and Veterans Day. I’m a serious American and angry as hell about this voter fraud happening in my home state. King Murphy screwed us in more ways than one and his sins are now coming public. Absentee ballots were very important to me for 18 years while we were traveling the country as construction missionaries.
We sold our house and lived in an RV full time. We did research on taxes, insurance and voter registration. South Dakota seemed like the best choice for us. So how does absentee voting work in SD?
To register to vote you must go IN PERSON to the county of registration with birth certificate, marriage license and proof of address in SD to get your drivers license. Then you go to the voter registration office in your county and get your voter registration with the same documents.
Then you must request a ballot in each and every election you choose to vote in.
This can be done online. But each and every request must be accompanied by a photocopy of your ID.
We chose not to vote in school elections because we didn’t know the issues or people. We never got a ballot we did not request.
SD does not send ballots to every address they ever had - only to registered voters who request them.
Montana has gone down the mail in ballot hole, at least in part. While I’d prefer only voting in person and on Election Day, we seem to be able to do it correctly here - I’ve never received more than three ballots in any election. OK OK OK, I’m joking. I’ve only ever received one ballot, one election. We also have to sign the outside of the envelope - not the inner envelope with actual ballot, and include our birth year ( 🤔 maybe full birth date, don’t remember). I prefer to deliver my ballot in person.

Unfortunately, I began to listen to the hearing late and what I saw began with Senator Kim. I must be very insulated by my Malone news and other sources because I was in culture shock listening to him. Having read "The Real Anthony Fauci," I couldn't understand his denialism, if not ignorance. I saw Mary Holland there. RFK, Jr. is more knowledgeable than anyone and I was surprised that he was not involved. Bill Gates got a mention, but surely he and his cohorts deserve more than that? I am beginning to believe since reading a recent view of a writer who says that about 4 % of the population are sociopaths and that he is correct. Certainly, Fauci is a self centered egotistical amoral sociopath. This in turn implies that they rise to the top and become the heads of both private and governmental institutions and accounts for the amoral decision making that we are dealing with. Certainly holds true in political circles, medical world, military-industrial world and the bureaucratic world and more. LBJ, Rumsfeld, Clinton, Epstein and many more come to mind. The question is how do we weed them out? I realized I have a chapter in my book Seven Innocents (coming this fall) called "The Good to Bad to Evil". The Evil ones are the sociopaths that caused great harm. The fact that Fauci still has the backing of Congressmen and the Medicine man speaks volumes that we have a serious problem.
I think the only solution is to distribute decision making across the entire citizenship. How best to do that? By separating spending from funding. Elected officials get to propose spending but only citizen taxpayers should be able to agree to funding. Since nearly 100% of governance has a monetary component, off ramping the sociopaths at that critical juncture could very well provide the crucial balance needed to keep governments transparent, accountable, ethical and moral. Not without challenges but the alternative is where we are at with the most narcissistic psychopathic people rising to the top and gathering control . In a more unshackled capitalism, the consumer controls the guys at the corporate top. How? They just don’t engage, don’t buy, boycott, sue. Nothing’s perfect but the tension tends to pull to the side we want… the side that benefits the entire society. Specific to Fauchi, would he have survived 2020 if citizen taxpayers had been allowed to fund OR NOT the NIAID? Personally I think the number of citizens assigning their tax dollars away from him would have brought a screeching halt to nearly all the negative outcomes of COVID mandates. Representative democracy (ie the Republic) has finally run into a brick wall. The wall that says, “You can vote them in but what you are actually getting are the 2% least likely to act in your best interest!” The step change needed in our Republic is one that restores ownership to the citizen taxpayer… the one responsible for paying for all of it.
Yeah, sounds nice but utterly unworkable. This is why we have a democratic REPUBLIC, not a pure democracy, not a parliament, etc. The best way to achieve anything close to what you want is to 1) eliminate the 17th amendment and return the senate back to the state legislatures as designed (maybe with a couple tweaks, maybe not) and 2) term limits across the board.
Well, I think otherwise. I think it’s actually simpler than you might think. Nevertheless, I agree on term limits and go one step further: we MUST separate Congress from funding. That is the corrupting influence and we might start by eliminating lobbyists, PACs, and all election donations. Let everyone running get the same amount of funding and the same amount of media exposure and prohibit candidates from accepting any money from anyone. That along with no trading while in office would help squeeze the psychopaths who work for money. It won’t help with the psycho power hungry.
Barbara, if you think through what happens when the Senate is returned to the state legislatures AND term limits are put in place, you’ll see your concern about money in politics gets minimized. If not convinced, I’d add one other limitation: restrict political campaign contributions to registered voters and those registered voters may only donate to campaigns they can vote for. Which means you can only donate from on district from which you can contribute to local candidates/issues, county/parish/ etc, state wide offices, your Federal representative, senator, and everyone can donate to presidential campaigns. I’d put in place some seed capital from the governments for those candidates reaching a certain percentage of eligible voter support AND while I’d loosen donation caps I’d still retain some cap so that a single or group of supporters don’t buy an election. That limitation would apply to the candidates as well.
But turning over a core function of government is unworkable, unwise and dangerous.
You could be right. It is radical. But what is happening now needs a radical fix. Literally our voting for Mr X or Mr Y means nothing as they are completely controlled (most not all) by who funds them. I’ve never heard of dissolving the Senate and sending back to the states. I’ll look into that. The rest of your suggestion sounds excellent. Let’s do it!!

Am I crazy? I watch my neighbors live without electricity, city water, and indoor plumbing and do perfectly well. Right, can we apply that same principle to governance. We, citizen taxpayers are PURCHASING the governance we want. We should be allowed to pay for what we want to the extent that we want it! This would seriously control budgets and make them competitive for our dollars. It’s certainly his right but there was a Supreme Court ruling that a person that accepts a presidential pardon must testify without 5th amendment privilege, Josh Hawley mentioned it on Wednesday. By pleading the 5th he is obstructing an investigation and has put himself in jeopardy for a sentence of up to a year in jail. By accepting the auto pen pardon, which we don’t even know who granted it, he gave up his 5th amendment privilege so says the Supreme Court. He also could be stripped of his medical license, pension and benefits which wouldn’t be nearly enough as far as justice goes for someone who lied over and over again while people were dying by the millions because of a virus he helped fund in the Wuhan Lab. I would argue he is the biggest mass murderer in the history of America. A year in prison isn’t enough.

Janes, many live as if God and judgement does not exist. That is a terrifying mindset because all of us will die and face God. Hebrews 10:31 says, “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” God is Holy, Just, and Good, and there is no 5th Amendment to protect anyone before Him, as He knows OUR hearts and minds before we act, and has alteady judged us accordingly to His holy character.

That change causes a person to want to live for Him out of love for what He did on the cross. Gov. Sherrill has gone even further with denying anyone to look into her “citizens” calling herself a protector of their private information. I live in NJ and vote for the dog catcher. I’ve spoken to the poll workers and many are incensed with the fact that ID is not required to vote in our elections. I hit the polls as soon as they open and have an election outfit that I wear which includes a rugby shirt I purchased almost 40 years ago from a store that no longer exists. It wears like the U.S. flag with stars on the right with a diagonal cut with the red and white stripes. The shirt has lasted this long because I only wear it on elections and federal holidays like Memorial Day, the 4th of July, and Veterans Day. I’m a serious American and angry as hell about this voter fraud happening in my home state. King Murphy screwed us in more ways than one and his sins are now coming public. His two terms were shrouded in secrecy. Now I know why.

Absentee ballots were very important to me for 18 years while we were traveling the country as construction missionaries.
We sold our house and lived in an RV full time. We did research on taxes, insurance and voter registration. South Dakota seemed like the best choice for us. So how does absentee voting work in SD?
To register to vote you must go IN PERSON to the county of registration with birth certificate, marriage license and proof of address in SD to get your drivers license. Then you go to the voter registration office in your county and get your voter registration with the same documents.
Then you must request a ballot in each and every election you choose to vote in.
This can be done online. But each and every request must be accompanied by a photocopy of your ID.
We chose not to vote in school elections because we didn’t know the issues or people. We never got a ballot we did not request.
SD does not send ballots to every address they ever had - only to registered voters who request them.

Montana has gone down the mail in ballot hole, at least in part. While I’d prefer only voting in person and on Election Day, we seem to be able to do it correctly here - I’ve never received more than three ballots in any election. OK OK OK, I’m joking. I’ve only ever received one ballot, one election. We also have to sign the outside of the envelope - not the inner envelope with actual ballot, and include our birth year ( 🤔 maybe full birth date, don’t remember). I prefer to deliver my ballot in person.

On another note - re: illegal voters - I see the numbers they have of illegals voting but I don't see how they voted. I guess we can assume. I wish there could be an interview of one of those who rallies to the cause of illegals being able to come here and reap benefits average Americans can't. I know the rationale but what if one question was asked - if you believe anyone from anywhere has a right to come here and vote in our elections, would you be okay with them voting Republican?

Unfortunately, I began to listen to the hearing late and what I saw began with Senator Kim. I must be very insulated by my Malone news and other sources because I was in culture shock listening to him. Having read "The Real Anthony Fauci," I couldn't understand his denialism, if not ignorance. I saw Mary Holland there. RFK, Jr. is more knowledgeable than anyone and I was surprised that he was not involved. Bill Gates got a mention, but surely he and his cohorts deserve more than that? Fetterman complained about picking on an 85 year old, but honestly, this man was still stuffing his bank accounts and I don't think he intends to check out any time soon.
