We all know because of Democrat control, New York City and many large cities, have serious, serious problems. Mamdami’s promise to make everything free by taxing business’s and white neighborhoods, his words not mine, is a Trojan horse for the masses. Him becoming mayor will devastate New York.

In Massachusetts we’ve been saddled with a Mamdani as governor for years now. We have homeless veterans here living in the streets. They are only given a stipend of 2500 dollars per “year” which I hear is very difficult to get. Many were thrown out of their apartments to make room for the illegal aliens when Maura Healy contracted out dozens of hotels paid for by you guessed it, the Massachusetts tax payer. Because of Maura Ma. has been overrun with illegal aliens. They first get a bonus of $14,000 just for signing up with the state. They then receive $30,000 dollars per year for rent or furniture, dinner, lottery, food or whatever they want. Then they receive $4,000 dollars each month automatically put onto their EBT card, not bad aye! This on top of all the other benefits they receive like free cable tv, free WiFi, free medical care, free education, free food delivered, free transportation, free laundry service, even free lawyers so they can make sure they don’t miss out on any benefits or they can sue (the taxpayer).

Just recently there was an article of an illegal alien that was complaining $30,000 dollars isn’t nearly enough for the rent, furniture, and other expenses she has, amazing. She has one child, her boyfriend had taken off. She has a 3 bedroom apartment in Dorchester, $3,000 per month, I’ll bet she’s renting out 2 of the rooms.

On a lighter note, I’ve heard clips of Maura Healy speaking out about the gerrymandering that absolutely should happen in Texas, talk about irony. BTW did you know Maura Healy was attorney general of Ma. before becoming governor. In her race for governor it came out she was having relations with 3 female state police officers some on her detail, what good judgement, but let that go. Massachusetts has been cut up into the craziest shaped counties so not to allow republicans to have a voice. Norfolk county goes from the border of Boston (Wellesley, Newton, Dedham) all the way to one town away from Rhode Island, this to dilute republican towns representation. Trump lost the state of Massachusetts 60% to 40% but of the 9 representatives and 2 senators sent to Washington DC there are 0 republicans. We see this in Democrat state after Democrat state. Democrats are exactly like toddlers (though dangerous) who start screaming crying when they don’t get their way. What it comes down to is they are gluttons for power. They just aren’t used to people like Donald Trump who plays to win. And one more thing.

Trump announced yesterday a new census is going to happen. The big difference is the millions of illegals Joe Biden let in and all of the others that have brocken into our country,Trump says, this time illegals will not be counted. This could add approximately 25 house seats to the Republicans. The census should only count legal American citizens but in 2020 illegals were counted. This would also direct federal money to the states based on these census results. This will end up in the Supreme Court, let’s hope this time Trump will succeed. It seems Trumps main job is fixing all the destruction Biden and the democrats have done here at home and throughout the world.

So let the democrats whine, if you think things are going bad for democrats lately things are going to get much worse for them in the months and years ahead. 😂😂😂 J.Goodrich

Apparently, the FBI routinely gets involved when a state issues a warrant and the perp "escapes" to another state. The FBI keeps a national database for that very reason and purpose. As Michael Nash has stated, it looks like the serious crime is taking what amounts to be a bribe, for not conducting legislative business a certain way. [The money Beto/Soros gave them to escape to Illinois]. Also -- The 2021 law established that legislators can not leave their posts to avoid legislative business. But the "bribes" are the more serious charges and they can be removed from office for accepting those "bribes". No politician wants that. So they will come back on their own...maybe.

James, I also live in a blue state (MD) and we cannot vote our way out of this. I'm certain others are "stuck" in MA the same way. Most states are red, but the cities are blue, making my vote go poof! I went to college in MA and it was liberal then too. I'm unsure what attracts people to ones that remind me of taking credit for the 7th grade science group project, nor what unhappy liberals look like when kvetching? We conservatives keep our heads up, keep praying, and no doubt, keep on wondering! Love your comment, as always.

It is so disturbing to know so much of taxpayer dollars are “given freely” to illegal aliens; I sure hope the new census will weed out these free-loaders, & ease the financial burden on your state/home town, & maybe the new census will also help other blue states financially, & we will have more deportations by the end of 2025!

The dog meme cracked me up—loaded and ready! 😆

I have pictures of the guys I served with in the Army. Many are with us holding our M-16’s or M-60 Machine guns and other assorted weapons. We were only 17-20 year olds but trained to bring the fight to our enemies if needed.

But I will admit that there was a cost to maintain that military mindset, physically and emotionally. We were trained to cut off our emotions for the sake of the mission.

The mission is first, others second, and each individual’s needs and desires are suppressed. We trained to the point of exhaustion, which creates injuries that get worse in age. To gripe and complain was not allowed, as we were American Fighting Men—besides, no one wanted to be called the names associated with whining. It would be a verbal beat down—we were men!

When you go to Target' and they ask you if you would like to Round UP your bill so you can give to one of their favorite causes, they are modeling "virtue signaling" behavior. 20 years ago a young Amish boy here fell off his horse. It was a cold night and ice on the ground. The horse slipped and rolled over him breaking bones and causing a concussion. Long story short. … air lifted to Louisville university hospital where he lay unconscious for 3 months. His immediate family went with him and then each of the siblings and their children came to spend time. For six months the Ronald McDonald House next to the hospital provided lodging for these people who would otherwise have found it impossible to afford to support their fallen brother. Against all odds, he made a fair recovery and is active in his community and has a life. Not the one he would have liked but still a good life. A recovery assisted by the generosity of a broad minded corporation and their generous patrons. I always round it up at McDonald’s for the Ronald McDonald Houses because of what they did for Jerry. And I encourage you to put small change toward charities you know and like because from little seeds grow giant trees.

You're welcome pretty-red, old guy and thanks for the acknowledgment. I really had no choice. I was playing blues and rock and roll at the time and school was cutting into my reading time so I dropped out and BANG, got drafted, enlisted for an extra year to have "choice, not chance" so they wouldn't send me to Viet Nam and after 10 months of stateside duty with potential assault and battery charges every time we left the post to go into town and mix with the local civilian (anti-war) crowd, volunteered to go over as stateside duty was stultifying and thought the worst that could happen was I could get my ass shot off. Long and short, I extended my tour for a 5 month early out with no physical damage other than from Agent Orange.

That army recruitment video comparison resonates with thoughts I had about the problems of our medical estab.and how it compared with my medical care in the Air Force

How to fix our broken medical care system? It has occurred to me that one form of socialized medicine, as we had when I served in the military, offers an example of what is needed. Back in the day, before the draft ended, we had a large complement of very good military doctors and they were allowed to perform mostly undisturbed by outside interference. They also were tasked with providing medical care for military families. And it all worked very well. How they triaged and treated severe combat injuries has morphed into improved civilian emergency care including civilian medical transport by helicopters in the US which I believe originated in San Antonio at Brook Army Hosp., Ft. Sam Houston where special forces received their medical training.

Of course today it is a different story. Loss of the draft has led to lower numbers of docs on military bases, far too many of them foreign trained. And I believe military families are no longer treated on all bases. But the past performance of military medicine demonstrated how even a large scale socialized medical operation could function very well when left free of outside influences and provided with top quality docs. And that in turn points out how all the gov and insurance interference, grossly exacerbated by pharma, has made a dogs breakfast of our current civilian medical establishment. Too many cooks.

Attorney General Ken Paxton Files Historic Lawsuit Against Democrat Runaways in SCOTX to Secure Order Declaring Their Seats Vacant

AUSTIN – Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit in the Supreme Court of Texas to formally pursue judicial declarations that 13 Texas House seats have been vacated due to continued unlawful absences by Democrat legislators who failed to meet the return deadline set by Speaker Dustin Burrows.

“The rogue Democrat legislators who fled the state have abandoned their duties, leaving their seats vacant,” said Attorney General Paxton. “These cowards deliberately sabotaged the constitutional process and violated the oath they swore to uphold. Their out-of-state rebellion cannot go unchecked, and the business of Texas must go on. I have asked the Texas Supreme Court to declare what has been clear from the beginning: that the runaway members have officially vacated their offices in the Texas House.”

House Democrats remain willfully absent from the State of Texas, choosing instead to engage in politically motivated grandstanding from out-of-state locations. Their conduct represents a flagrant abandonment of office and a betrayal of the voters who entrusted them with the duty to represent Texans in the legislative chamber.

This initial lawsuit concentrates on 13 Democrat members who made incriminating public statements regarding their refusal to return, essentially confirming in their own words the very grounds for this legal action. Texas law provides the Attorney General with explicit authority to represent the State in quo warranto actions and to appear before the Texas Supreme Court in matters where the State has a direct interest.

The petition states: “The Texas Constitution, statutes, and rules provide a broad range of tools for members of a legislative minority to be heard. But those tools do not include concerted effort by members of the minority to disrupt the functioning of the Legislature by abdicating their duties, including spurning the constitutional authority of the remaining members to compel their attendance. When members of the Legislature disregard arrest warrants, refuse to perform their duties, and announce that they intend to prevent the Legislature from exercising its constitutional responsibilities, they have, through words and conduct, demonstrated an intent to relinquish and abandon their offices.”

In addition to filing this petition, Attorney General Paxton and Speaker Dustin Burrows moved to enforce arrest warrants in other states. Attorney General Paxton also launched an investigation into Powered by People and Texas Majority PAC for potentially operating an illegal financial influence scheme to bribe Democrats into breaking quorum
