On October 23, 1983, two truck bombs were detonated at buildings in Beirut, Lebanon, housing American and French service members of the Multinational Force in Lebanon, a military peacekeeping operation during the Lebanese Civil War. 299 American soldiers were killed. I had a neighborhood friend that was there. He died there in Lebanon about a year after the bombing, he was 21.

That bombing was investigated and Iran was found to be completely behind it. We should have taken care of this problem back then. Now 43 years later and thousand of Americans killed we are hopefully and finally cutting off the head of the snake. Many have mixed feelings about this, I know I do, but I pray for our troops, America, and hope in the end we have a better safer world.

LoverOfHills's avatar

10,000 more troops being asked for now. We don't have enough troops, without a draft. US Army just changed eligibility to 42, and drops marijuana conviction prohibitions. And this snake, likely, has many heads. To occupy (regime change) = many MANY troops. Israel has zero for such a purpose, it would all be on us. Meanwhile, Israel has expanded it's borders, 2 days ago - into S. Lebanon. I'm wondering who IS the snake, who is Not.

I don't want a military draft, but if there were men might know how to be men again. The sad thing is, we have become such a sick nation, could anyone pass a physical fitness test? And, is there anyone left without some type of chronic illness. Yes, this all sounds like design to me - no healthy people, no military. On a different subject, my husband and I like to watch "Wheel of Fortune", however we may need to stop. Every episode they have at least one 'gay' person playing the game. They represent our population as 1/3 being gay. I am tired of it and don't want to support that type of media. It's gonna be a tough call, but one we need to make - for our sanity.

Micheal Nash, Ph. D.'s avatar

We need a military draft. Might be the only place going men learn civics...sure are not in public schools.

Kent's recent chat with Shawn Ryan, I found it interesting, they both agreed with your point. A professional military, has this nation-harming downside, that very few actually Know what is happening in our wars, they are clueless to politics in general! I also feel, it seems wrong that the US doesn't have compulsory service, but creates wars in counties that do!

Joy Metcalf's avatar

"No boots on the ground." Haven't they said this with every regime-change war the US government has begun? "No new wars!" That was another lie.

I love it when Robert’s Friday and Sunday comics roll out. It’s so gratifying to laugh at all of the things leading to the tragic end of the Republic.

Steenroid's avatar

Might as well laugh since we can’t do anything about it. Does no good to vote Republican. RINO 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

LOUMCKENZIE's avatar

Politics is but an illusion and God works thru illusion. Its the Military that needs to bee the focus...major focus...and capturing the military back from the Industrial Complex. No one individual is going to save the US. But, what is going to do that is slowly being revealed to all. Pay attention, stay in the present, watch yer pronouns (we, our, us) and focus on and understanding the great shift in Dimensions. COVID was the last stand to keep humans in the 3D, rather than moving into the 4D.

Joy Metcalf's avatar

I may laugh, but it's not from enjoyment. We are truly on our way out, and that national debt and the military gearing up more--without troops, without weapons!--and that cartoon about the national debt doing a flying leap onto the citizenry....Aaargh!

Laugh and the World Laughs with you. Cry and you cry alone.

Laughter is the Best Medicine!

In everyone's lives S**T Happens. NO ONE IS EXEMPT. So In your life when S**T happens it is better to laugh. Why? Because when you laugh, others want to know what you are laughing about because we ALL need Laughter in our lives.

If you choose to cry, Your tears will melt your mascara & it will leave black trails down your upper cheeks. In addition the Gremlins in your Mission Control Center a.k.a. Brain Housing Group got the wiring crossed so that when your tears fall/eyes run, the liquid in your sinuses goes on full flush and your nose runs down the rest of your face. People take one look and are hell bent to run as far from you as fast as they can.

I know. I got to see They Came from Afar on Wednesday. I had a seat 2 rows from the Stage. my emotions ran the gamut. choking on unshed tears; reliving my experience when I learned about the Trade Center. And learning about the experiences of the people at Gander, Newfoundland. I didn't realize that passengers on those planes were often unaware of what had happened until after they landed and were wrapped in the collective arms of the citizens of that small country.

wow. We are one. We are SO going to need empathy going into our tomorrows. K

Well, thanks for trying, I guess.

We really did need you on that vaccine board. But I guess, short of a tell-all column, which I suspect we'll sadly never get, those of us on the outs will never know the frustrations endured by those who did serve on it.

All I can conclude is, the deep state is even worse than we feared.

Dr. Robert W. Malone's avatar

I do not tolerate either fools or fool's errands very well. Too old for that. Moving on to other venues to contribute.

I've Got A Special Purpose's avatar

Sir, your contributions have been invaluable. Going back to 2020, there was nobody who spoke more eloquently against the deep state, and the interlocking interests of Big Pharma, Big Government, and the DoD.

I am quite certain that serving on the ACIP board was a Sisyphean task. Perhaps herculean/Augean is a better analogy.

But still, even if you find other venues to contribute, which I am sure you will, it feels like a loss for our side that the entrenched interests were able to frustrate your efforts, and those of the MAHA movement you have long been at the vanguard of.

Brandy's avatar

Unfortunately for us, you made the right decision. You need to enjoy your life and your followers will keep learning from you. I always wondered how things like the Holocaust could happen and why people didn't fight. I think I am starting to understand.

And contribute, you will. We trust you and God Speed, our dear friend!

thank you for all you do and have done, and will do. Your input in whatever forum/venue is invaluable.

Did you see Governor Pritzker and the democrats blaming Sheridan Gorman and then President Trump for the illegal alien shooting and savagely killing her. The outrageous “Big Lies” this party tells is incredible. Of coarse this is just one of thousands of lies told, just think of what the Biden administration did to us throughout their produced “covid pandemic” including their “vaccine”. By the “party” saying this, the “party” members must believe it and repeat it. No lie is ever too big or you will face being cast out, prison or possibly assassination. The rest of us that are sane and have a functioning brain are called conspiracy theorists or enemies of democracy. Tell me this does not describe to a tee, the democrat/socialist/communist party.

A movement or political party built on intentional falsehoods is frequently described as a "post-truth" phenomenon, characterized by the use of "disinformation" and the "Big Lie" technique. Such entities exploit misinformation to distort reality, aiming to disrupt democratic institutions, erode trust, and manipulate public opinion through mass deception.

Key Terms and Concepts:

• The Big Lie: A propaganda technique, first described by Adolf Hitler, where an immense, colossal lie is told, assuming people would not believe someone could have the audacity to distort the truth so infamously.

• Post-Truth Politics: A political culture where factual evidence and veracity are not expected, and emotional appeal takes precedence over objective facts.

• Disinformation/Propaganda: The deliberate dissemination of false information to deceive and influence public opinion.

• Alternative Information Ecosystems:Movements often create their own media and facts, exploiting declining trust in mainstream institutions.

• Radical-Populism: Often linked in current studies as a form of politics that heavily utilizes disinformation to mobilize supporters against established systems.

• "Pants on Fire": A term popularised by PolitiFact for extreme political lies.

• These movements often capitalize on a "truth bias," where people typically expect honesty, making them vulnerable to deception.

A political party or a government built on lies is destined to collapse. Once the majority of citizens understand they are constantly being lied to, basically about everything, the government will eventually be thrown from power. Let’s hope in this case it happens before the entire system completely disintegrates.

Great summary Brother Goodrich.

I like David Horowitz’s, “The issue is never the issue, it’s always the Revolution”.

Little do the Red Washed uneducated know the The Communist Manifesto declares that if we don’t have a successful revolution, well, then we just burn the joint to the ground”. At least Marx was successfully prophetic there.

Great morning tonic, Dr Malone. I love the Italian word for “Bribery” - “Bustarella - the little envelope”. The lovely poetry almost legitimizes it.

One of their admired countries has just collapsed, never to recover. The communist state of Cuba is no more; it has fallen. Rubio is going to be running it soon, lol.

Now do the D's see how communism does not work? They all end up with blackouts and shortages, suffering and lack. Communism It is bad for the people, bad for the economy, bad for the world.

"We call it bribery, they call it lobbying" The sports betting ads are beyond the pale. A little caution at the end, "If you have a gambling problem..." is not only insulting,, it is self-condemning, not to mention completely ineffective. It's the one industry that LeBron James can get an endorsement deal with other than the one he funded. I would like to see a list of all of the votes taken on this issue, coupled with the sums of money that were paid to bribe each legislator that supported these inane, reckless and irresponsible changes to state and federal laws.

Micheal Nash, Ph. D.'s avatar

Have for eons sad we should delegitimize lobbying. Have never to my knowledge ever had any lobby lobby for anything I could benefit from but nearly always for something harmful to me and the national well being.

Well Spanburger is not a moderate ------how could anyone have ever known?

1) There are no moderate Dem/Marxists------just like muslims and communists and......unicorns. but.....unicorns are harmless, I am told, I have never seen one myself but....... many of our grand daughters say they have.

2) Maybe you ought to expand your universe and listen to some media outlet other than the View, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, late night non comedy, or papers besides the WSJ, WaPo or NYT.

Many sites were talking about how left she was, just not the ultra lib sites.

3) Maybe by now (if your age is in double digits) you should be fully aware that anyone with a D behind their name, regardless of whether they are a preacher, military member or farmer, or redneck is not conservative or moderate but is pretty close to a flame/moltov cocktail throwing communist wannabe.

Really not that hard.
