I haven’t even made it past the opening panels and I’m already throwing not just one flag but all my flags: the dude driving the vehicle into the Charlottesville crowd, killing one, was NOT a far-right (whatever the hell that means - get to that later) crazy, he was a self declared (neo)NAZI, National SOCIALIST (German) Workers Party. You look up NAZI and you get the usual BS about "far-right" totally ignoring the words on the page - SOCIALIST. Socialism a leftist ideology, sometimes pronounced democrat.

Listen, if we’re ever going to make any progress saving America (USA USA USA, oops, sorry, some left over Olympics zealots or warming up for futból 🤷‍♀️) then let’s get our language straight and stop using THEIR definitions designed to smear us.

Ignorant minds a,terrible waste. You and I know that about nazis but the average nut job out there hasn't a clue. All those aryan nation clucks tattoo swastikas on their butts thinking it a badge of ultra right honor.

One thing that was noticeable at the Charlottesville riot was that many of the Nazi flags still had creases in them from the packaging, as though they had just been bought and taken out of the packages. If they had been hung up for a day or two the creases would be gone.

Packaged riots...the left's not so new app

Yup; and which political party in the hood ol’ USA seems to attract these whackadoodles. Yet still can’t stop labeling anyone they disagree with or opposes them as what they so clearly are becoming.

Fascism/communism are not the two ends of a two-dimensional right/left spectrum. The spectrum is better visualized as curved into a circle, and the fascism/communism ends meet each other at the far side of the circle. A more useful way to look at political issues is an individualism vs collectivism spectrum. That one works as a two-dimensional spectrum, with individualism (freedom) at one end and both fascism and communism (totalitarianism) at the other end.

I’ve heard that before and I still disagree: I think it’s linear, the one thing all these ‘isms have in common are large commanding centralized governments, they are all leftists/leftisms differing only in degree and the ornamentation they display. All the way over on the "far right" end is anarchy or no centralized governments, at best it would be a federation of, say, states much like what we tried with the Articles of Confederation prior to the Constitution. Founders recognized that a strong Central or federal government was needed but then drafted the document we only follow when handy to reign in that central government by strengthening the states and the citizens.

Ergo, when you call yourself, like I do, a Constitutional Conservative you are neither left nor right.

He was also a certified loony tune from Ohio, I believe, who had driven there to attend that protest. And he was being chased by another mob of rioters - the reason he was blasting down that street and ran into the other bunch.

"Dixon bragged on Facebook about confronting James Fields with an AR-15 rifle, moments before Fields drove his car into a crowd of protesters at the Charlottesville, Virginia protests (and in doing so, perhaps pushing Fields’s emotions past the point of reason). During Fields’s trial, though, Dixon changed his story, claiming it was not Fields’s car he approached with his weapon, but another one."

An AR-15 is not a concealed carry gun. How did he get it into the area without the connivance of one or more of the law enforcement agencies whose connivance in ensuring that the Antifa mob would be allowed to assault the protesters who had a permit?

The cops and the mayor were described in some contemporary articles as standing looking out some upstairs windows watching things unfold and develop into chaos. They were not at all interested in trying to keep things somewhat peaceful.

Sounds like what I remember from back then.

What sticks in my mind, mostly, was his how the leftist / Main Stream media did their damnedest to paint POTUS Trump 45 with that foolishness. Not that Wed should expect a correction tomorrow for what we’ve learned today.

You know, the SPLC spent $300K on that Charlottesville protest. What’s the SPLC’s exposure if it can be proven that they paid Fields to protest that day? Fields is the guy who was convicted of first degree murder.

Everyone involved in the SLPC fraud should be in prison for life.

Term clarification:

1. The Nazi Party, officially called The National Socialist German Workers' Party or NSDAP (German: Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei] was a LEFT wing organisation. Note the second and fourth words in their title, e.g. Socialist and Workers'. To their political left were Communism then Marxism.

2. Fascism [Mussolini] was a RIGHT wing organisation.

ANY organisation [left or right wing] may subscribe to hatred and violence.

In this edition of the Friday Funnies, the first paragraph term "neo-Nazis" was mis-used, a very common error in woke western cultures. Perhaps a better phrase would be, "deranged personnel whose IQ on a sunny California day would be in the high single digits" were responsible for the unfortunate mayhem AFTER receiving their riot pay.

The Obama meme is priceless!!

I remember that after the Charlottesville riots, I saw at least one video of local people saying that they had seen communist and Nazis get off of the same buses. Almost as though they were paid and organized.

Fantastic funnies from the SPLC to the dogs! Loved 80 mil Trump, NOT GOP, supporters!!

Thus need Thune and filibuster gone for the SAVE Act asap!!

The SPLC was assured by the democrat/communist party that they would be given the same immunity as law enforcement by the incoming administration because with all the cheating, there was "no way" they could lose.

Imagine how much of a loser you have to be to lose a set-up race.

Good bunch, loved the Brancos, but the eternal fountain.....wow!

the one panel that really seems kinda tone-deaf is what socialism delivers because these things are happening right now under the trump admin...mass surveillance, authoritarianism, economy in the toilet and the promise of starvation come September because of the fertilizer shortage created by the closing of the strait....of course, that's just my opinion, i could be wrong.

So is there grounds now for wrongful death civil suit against SPLC?

The gerbil took me about 30 seconds to process- then I had to walk away until I could stop laughing! 2nd best- the Fountain of Eternal Thanks! Lots of good memes here today. I usually share at least 3 of them... today I feel slightly intimated about sharing them. I'll save the email and reexamine when I'm feeling a little more froggy.

The antics of the underground illegal on both sides of the spectrum are like pulling weeds. Pull one, two more pop up. The SPLC is more than a weed, it is more noxious, grows silently and is hard to eradicate. The history of how we got to this ridiculous place is long and not new, but now has taken a growth spurt into the uncontrollable.
