This is Jill - the hepatitis vaccine vote is in (option 1), and the schedule has been changed not to recommend universal vaccination for newborns.

Richard Love's avatar

Finally, some common sense

Micheal Nash, Ph. D.'s avatar

Which is becoming painfully uncommon these days.

WeveGotACountryToSave's avatar

A baby step in the right direction. Giving it at 2 months is still nonsense, but I understand that people are so brainwashed they’re melting down over not poisoning heathy newborns.

We need to quickly get to schools and day cares requiring it as unlawful. After the age of 5 or 6, a healthy immune system will handle an acute hep b infection and it will never become chronic. And it’s actually pretty hard to get it during normal engagement with other people - despite the fear porn narrative

Micheal Nash, Ph. D.'s avatar

Agree. How is a 2 month old going to contract a disease that the infection source is a dirty needle or sex? Maybe we do not need to know that. And if immunity not compromised by all those jabs its native immunity should rise to the occasion on its own.

Fred's avatar

The shots badly damaged our immune systems, so I fear more infectious disease outbreaks. Another listeria one a few weeks ago.

Patricia's avatar

Exactly! I guess common sense is not among many people about why a Hep B shot is not needed at birth…! Brainwashed is absolutely what has happened, & now I agree it will continue to be this way until more folks actually wake up to the fact babies are healthy at birth; unless of course the Mother has health issues or addicted to drugs…!

Satan's Doorknob's avatar

Infants are sometimes at risk of these and other serious diseases. Answering "Why?" rapidly gets into "lifestyle" issues that are taboo in sociology and politics. We aren't even allowed to discuss the underlying issues, so even attempting to solve them seems even less likely.

oldguy52's avatar

I would say we probably do NEED to know that but most surely don't WANT to.

oldguy52's avatar

I don't believe I've ever had a hep B vax nor did any of the kids I grew up with yet somehow I've managed to surpass 73 laps around the sun without any hepatitis issues.

LoverOfHills's avatar

Thanks Jill for all you do. Wow. What a day. Every step of this ALL is very emotional for me, I cannot imagine how it is for you and Doc Malone. God gives us strength exactly when we need it.

Toni Headen's avatar

Thank God. I worked as an RN in an operating room and we all took it in the 1980’s after an MD, an RN and an aide caught HepB from a trauma patient. That’s where this vaccine should stay. IV drug users, prostitutes and medical personnel with a high risk of exposure. I cannot think of anyone else who would possibly benefit from this shot.

Jane Tracy's avatar

I remember getting it when it first came out in the 80s… I was an RN in the ER.

Joseph Kaplan's avatar

Instead of all those jabs send your kids out to play in the dirt. Everyday. They’ll get their hands dirty and put their dirty hands in their dirty mouths and become immune to everything.

Thomas A Braun RPh's avatar

Universal mandates take the decision making in how to treat patients out of the hands of caring and loving physicians who believe in not doing harm. The mandates are instituted to maximize the profitability of the vaccine manufacturer who doesn't care how much harm is created. The fact that our medical system has produced about 2 million autistic children and adults since 1986 speaks volumes of what is wrong in medicine today. When my Congressmen tell me their hands are tied, they are telling me that they will be targeted for removal from Congress in the next election if they challenge the status quo. Shameful that some have spoken out against RFK Jr goal of reversing the great harm create by a failed food/medical system.

Patricia's avatar

I so agree! Thank you!

Even after Aaron Siri's amazing presentation today (started after lunch), FDA's Dr. Hoag's slide deck is interesting too, how we compare with Europe. We are doing so poorly, yet we vaccinate the most.

Sheila Secrist's avatar

Fabulous news! I'm about to read Damasi report on the meeting which I understand turned contentious. I watched some of it early on before I had to go out and listening to the stats of actual case numbers, mom to baby transmission and lateral transmission (not sure I have the term right..) are so tiny as to wonder why in the world it wasn't changed long ago! It seems obvious to this non-physician that they should've been treating only those truly "at risk" babies all this time.

SashaSue's avatar

What awesome news....it is a start in the right direction.

Jane Tracy's avatar

I’ve watched the full 2 full days because I believed in the ACIP committee and that change was going to come! Kudos to Dr Malone for chairing the committee and handling the many challenges with the patience of a Saint! And thank you Dr Jill for the funnies today😎

Dave Slough's avatar

Long overdue

Thanks on helping to accomplish this

David Merrill's avatar

I was watching Day 1, several hours. The "opposition" was literally making me feel sick. My immune system was under attack.

Sharon's avatar

That was a cliff-hanger.

Mrs. Itoldya!'s avatar

SUCH EXCELLENT NEWS!!!! ❤️🙏🥳

Sandy's avatar

Thank God! And you! I’ve been confused about that requirement forever. If mom is hep negative, why vaccinate the child with a shot for a disease transmitted by sex and IV drug use, that only lasts until age 7 or so? What do they think kindergarteners are getting up to these days?

James Goodrich's avatar

I know there’s probably not much about Brian Cole the DC bomber yet, here’s my take.

If there is one person thats extremely angry about Donald Trump winning the 2024 presidential election it’s Brian Cole. Cole was arrested yesterday for placing the pipe bombs at the DNC and RNC offices in DC. U.S. attorney Jeanine Pirro said the FBI did not gather any new evidence, everything was there to solve the case, the FBI at the time had just sat on the evidence which was collecting dust. It’s pretty obvious they were covering up who the bomber actually is because it didn’t fit their narrative. The narrative that it was a Trump supporter that was manipulated by Trump to think the 2020 election was stolen. Now we know the person that placed the bombs was no Trump supporter.

Many are saying Brian Cole is a patsy, which he very well may be, but there is a mountain of evidence against him including cell phone towers pinging his phone to both locations at the time the bombs were placed. They tracked down the parts and where they were bought from connecting his credit cards to the components. Also his car and license plate were captured by a license plate reader less than 1/2 mile from where the individual who placed the devices was first observed in the area. These videos match the time line. He lived at home with his parents which was searched and bomb making components were found, his father, who he works with, didn’t see these things?

Here’s the problem the democrats have. They pushed the narrative that the pipe bomber was a Trump supporter pissed off about the stolen election, but now we find out that Cole was gathering components for the bomb at least a year before the election. So it couldn’t be a pissed off Trump supporter mad about a stolen election as they kept telling us.

I remember Merrick Garland say they couldn’t figure out who the bomber was because he did it at night, what a shyster! This is another lie, another piece of evidence proving the FBI, the Biden administration and our government were all trying to frame Trump to keep him from running in 2024 and win a third Presidential Election! The scary thing is they all knew Trump won in 2020, and they were willing to do anything, ANYTHING to keep him out of the White House. J.Goodrich

I should have shared Techno.. I have subscribed to him for a long time.. and also watched about the DC bomber last: he is the right guy.. I saw Kash Patel.

Merrick Garland should be stripped of his pension and never again be given any "microphone time" as long as he lives... he was such a LIAR. I will be blunt about it.

Not sure if you ever saw this, it’s Garland at his confirmation hearing with a set up question from Corey Booker. He’s a lying disgrace, watch it’s worth it. After all he did to us

Melanie VanTassel's avatar

Thank God he’s not on the Supreme Court. Obama nominated him and McConnell blocked it.

MrsMc's avatar

Have they said why the bombs didn't detonate? My first thought was like you mentioned, he had to be working for somebody else. Maybe he had been planning this for a long time, and then right before J6 happened to hook-up with somebody (FBI CIA) who had been "following him" or learned about him from social media or places where he bought his equipment. Lots of questions. Have a good weekend James.

The Great Santini's avatar

From what I saw they looked like dummy bombs. Maybe. Maybe not. But all “they” needed was some excuse to prevent Congress from looking into the corrupt 2020 election.

Alan Davis (FlyoverAlinCT)'s avatar

Yes. This was Plan B in case the “Storming the Capitol” plan failed.

It was well-planned. Pelosi and Bowser colluding to reject Trump’s offer to send National Guard. Planting some 275 FBI agents in the crowd. Ray Epps encouraging “…go into the Capitol”. Having an Antifa Soros rent-a-mob on standby to create chaos if necessary.

All so Pelosi could declare an emergency, suspend the normal rules and not hear the Several States - particularly PA - objections to the election.

Harris wasn’t even in the Capitol - they stashed her and her entire 200 word vocabulary at the DNC for maximum drama “the first black …MAGA racists …bomb…” if Plan A failed.

Pence was in on Plan A.

Micheal Nash, Ph. D.'s avatar

FBI claims they could go bang. Hooked up to egg timers tells me this was a warning message, i.e., this is what to expect if.....

Science is Political 2.0's avatar

I know nothing about bombs.. but I did notice the KITCHEN EGG TIMER..

Science is Political 2.0's avatar

I didn't even think about it that much.. Techno and also Newsmax .. showed he bought all this Home Depot stuff.. and probably looked it up on line "how to make a pipe bomb". who knows. looked a kitchen timer.. and bunch of junk. I am not interested in bombs or making bombs. sigh. :) but there is just about everything one can think of online.

“Instinctually Programmed To Lie”: CNN’s Jake Tapper Mislabels D.C. Pipe-Bomb Suspect As “White Man”

"According to an FBI affidavit filed on Wednesday, Cole works in the office of a bail bondsman in northern Virginia. He resides in a single-family home in Woodbridge with his mother and other relatives.

Public records indicate that Brian Cole is connected to a wide network of bail-bonds companies.

When corporate media’s manufactured narratives collapse like a house of cards, their immediate reaction is always the same: lie. But this time, the fake news isn’t sticking – ordinary people see through the bullshit, and trust in mainstream media continues plunging to record lows."

"This guy is a patsy. They had to find someone after Blaze News identified the Capital police officer as the pipe bomber. And, ironically, Tapper is actually so dishonest in his information that he has become honest. He doesn't even pretend to lie anymore! "

James Goodrich's avatar

American media has become Pravda of the Soviet Union. The news has to fit the communist narrative, a “white man” is the perfect example. Then they show his picture. I’ll bet you democrats that saw Tapper will say a white man planted the bomb.

John Guy's avatar

"You can suppose at this point that the story of that four-year botched investigation will be a way bigger thing than the pipe bomber’s little prank itself.

It probably leads to the story of wholesale corruption in Christopher Wray’s FBI, and even more consequentially, to the realization that the so-called J6, 2021 “insurrection” was a government op from top to bottom, aimed at eradicating Trump and Trumpism."

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/was-j6-insurrection-government-sponsored-seditious-conspiracy

"The FBI also doctored the recordings, specifically blurring out the section of the suspect’s face at one angle captured by a CC camera about eight meters away. The rectangular blur patch over his eyes can be clearly seen. How’d that happen?"

"All of this is just the pipe bomber subplot of the J6 story. There remains the weird business with then House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her failure to request national guard protection at the US Capitol that day.

And there remains the question of how many agents, assets, and confidential informants the FBI had in-place at the Capitol on J6, 2021, including Antifa members, and which actions, including the breach inside the building, they instigated. Then there is the question of the House J6 committee, how it was constructed with the help of lawfare ninja Norm Eisen, and how it deliberately destroyed all the evidence it collected over the months of its existence."

MJ's avatar

The perp is a left-handed female, and I don't mean a Capitol Police lesbian. Don't know who it is and we don't really know who murdered Charlie Kirk, either, do we. Anyway, there is a much larger and more detailed version of the perp video in Nick Searcy's excellent movie about Jan. 6th. Look it up. Has a website. Not for free.

The perp walks like a female, has the gait of a female, which is different than males because of the shoulder-torso-hip-leg ratio and a distinctly different butt and male genitals are in front, not between the legs. And it is not the Nike's.

Left-handed because the backpack is slung over the right shoulder, which is also a female thing as guys generally do cross-body or backpack. Also the backpack over the right shoulder didn't look too heavy, wasn't pulling the shoulder down.

I go for a female, BUT there may have been 2 of them, one going to the DNC, one going to the RNC.

CMCM's avatar

I was CONVINCED the perp was female for the exactly reasons you mention. I'd like to see Cole walking around and film him. Even if he is a bit light in the loafers and a bit autistic, he needs to prove how he walks.

MJ's avatar

Doesn't matter if he is light in his loafers - or she - because that illustrates the whole PsyOps, brainwashing lie/operation/assault/bullying about transgenderism: All the hormones and surgeries in the world are not going to change your muscular-skeletal design as male or female, or your sinews, ligaments, and so on. An experienced archaeologist can dig up a relatively intact skeleton and look at it and say, "Oh. Female." Any dancer/gymnast knows that males are distinctly different from females looking at the rear view: Female butts and hips are not the same as male ones and no surgery can change that either. I'm afraid that this Admin just will not admit it out of fear as usual. Cole's cell phone could be in anyone's possession including his and pinged as he may have been in the vicinity for some reason or other.

Knitting a new lap blanket. One strip is ready, dog is already sleeping on it. Next week new curtains, knitted socks and shawls for friends... making does not have to be industrial!

Vivian Evans's avatar

Knitting is so relaxing - I loved to knit! Especially knitting with soft wool from Jacob's sheep ... my late husband used to live in the sloppy jumper I knitted from that wool.

Now my hands can't hold the knitting any longer, sigh.

INGRID C DURDEN's avatar

Dear Vivian I am so sorry for that. I remember my moms hands -she passed away this year- she was the fastest knitter I have ever seen, and in the last 10 years she could no longer do it either. xxx

Vivian Evans's avatar

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom - our parents always leave us too soon, no matter how old they are.

I was never particularly fast, perhaps because I absolutely loved using the Aran patterns for jumpers, the more complicated the better. But gawd, they really need lots of wool! And yeah, they do take time ...

Did you know those patterns - and those for the real Guernsey jumpers, had a reason: the wives knitted those individual patterns for their menfolk so that, if the terrible happened, they could at least identify the bodies by the jumper patterns.

INGRID C DURDEN's avatar

Thank you, she was just shy of 87 and with dementia for the last 7 years.

She could go to a store, watch a pattern (mostly on machine made sweaters) come home and just knit it off hand. Never been able to do that!

Oh I did not know about these Aran patterns, even though I had and still have some of those books. I mainly knit while watching nature or cooking shows, so it cannot be too intricate!

Vivian Evans's avatar

That's a special talent your mom had! My Granny was able to do this with dresses: she went to check out the newest fashion in shop windows, went home, did a drawing and then got everything to make them. My mum and auntie were the best-dressed girls and young ladies around - and that despite our family having been dirt poor.

Funnily enough, she never went in for knitting: her younger sister, one of my great aunts, was the 'knitter', and my other great aunt was an expert embroiderer: never used a pattern, she designed the flowers and things for tablecloths all by herself.

As for me: I loved doing the fast-and-easy dress patterns: get everything on the Saturday, sew everything on Sunday and have a new dress on Monday ... well, 'wasn't so hard when we all wore mini dresses ... Knitting came later, as relaxation in the evening after work. Embroidery however never was 'my' thing. Ah well, can't do everything, can we ...

Science is Political 2.0's avatar

Deep condolences.. about your Mom's passing.. My mom knitted too. she died many years ago.1990. and she taught me to knit which I did do for a short while.. and crochet.. she also did that: EVERYONE remembers their Mom's hands.. :) I can see my mother's hands now.. all these years later.

A couple of comments,re ACIP

What was painfully lacking in these discussions was an awareness that the virus was not the main threat but rather the drug culture that makes it an issue. And ignored also was the many dangers children face who are born into that culture. Perhaps concern may raise to a higher level when the APA figures out how to to turn addressing the drug culture into an alternate cash cow.

Another point was all the discussion about the lack of harm imposed by the jab totally ignoring the epidemic of autoimmune diseases that conflate so well with the advent of the childhood jab schedule. So I was very appreciative of Dr. M bringing up this very point, i.e., that it may not be the harm singular but rather the cumulative harm brought forth by all those jabs. Which was then pointedly ignored by the jab ghouls.

Jilll here- the vaccine schedule has been significantly changed!

PutativePathogen's avatar

Thank God! I'm praying that pediatricians are paying attention.

Mark Miller's avatar

I was unhappy to learn the following this morning (which relates, IMO, to the vaccine schedule):

"The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the leading professional organization for pediatricians in the U.S., has consistently supported a gender-affirming care model for transgender and gender-diverse (TGD) youth. This approach emphasizes individualized, developmentally appropriate support that prioritizes the youth's gender identity to reduce gender dysphoria and improve mental health outcomes. As of December 2025, the AAP's stance remains affirmative, backed by its 2018 policy statement ("Ensuring Comprehensive Care and Support for Transgender and Gender-Diverse Children and Adolescents"), which was reaffirmed in 2023 and defended in subsequent statements amid political and legal challenges. No major policy reversal has occurred."

Yet, I wasn't totally surprised either.

DeSantis: "Member of Congress should not get lifetime pensions after serving five years" i would add ...they should not be able to vote themselves raises, either. Many members of Congress are taking advantage of the American people that they are supposed to represent; and using their positions to financially benefit themselves/ There should be a way for the people to have them removed immediately from Congress; not have to wait for another election.

TDoug's avatar

Before these clowns go off repeating talking points they should do some research. All fed gov employees get a FERS pension, but it isn't as great as it sounds. MTG will get $8700 a year starting at age 62, but it is not adjusted for inflation. So in 11 years that $8700 won't be worth $8700.
