As a marksman, power tool user, and lawnmower operator I just realized I also carry the tool to cure the hantavirus with me almost constantly. The large metal key fob screw top pill containers sold at most pharmacies is an ideal place to store the hantavirus prevention devices indicated above ready for immediate deployment.

Highly recommended by a guy who developed mild tinnitus at the basement range at my old style military high school in the 60s. You never know when you might want to blot out propaganda or other loud unpleasant noises.

Although, I am not, this descendant of many generations of horsemen* has to admit that foals are some of the cutest of baby critters.

* Many times great uncle Samuel McColloch was the hero of the first battle of Fort Henry, now Wheeling, WV, but arguably his horse, who’s name is lost to history, deserves equal credit sliding down Wheeling Hill to keep his rider from being captured by a band of attacking Indians. This same horse saved Sam’s brother John after Sam was shot and killed in ambush while they were on patrol. The horse ultimately lived to age 34 being fed mash by an appreciative family in his last years.

FYI: Did your uncle mention or notice this information.

Many have known for decades that horses’ lives are shattered by radio waves?

https://weepnews.blogspot.com/2009/03/electromagnetic-radiation-out-ouruhia.html

“They were very nervous and jumpy,” she said. “They all seemed to have sore feet. Horses who had travelled by trailer for years were losing balance while travelling. We have several hot spots around our yard where the horses become very volatile and hurt themselves and us."

"Why are all those racehorses dropping dead at Churchill Downs? Because, since April 29, they've all been wearing powerful WIRELESS monitors (called "STRIDESafe")

The horses may be "vaccinated," too—we're looking into it—but these new high-tech gadgets (the sort of thing that thrills Bill Gates) are likely the main cause of death, as Arthur Firstenberg explains."

"The STRIDESafe devices, which have been deployed at Churchill Downs for the safety of the horses, are instead killing them."

John Guy's avatar

Other information:

"This STRIDESafe device monitors the horse’s movements 2,400 times per second throughout the race, sending 2,400 pulses of radio frequency (RF) radiation every second through the body of the horse. It also contains a GPS component that communicates with global positioning satellites. It also communicates with the RFID chip implanted in the left side of every horse’s neck, ensuring that the chip also emits radiation throughout the race.

And because every racehorse wears horseshoes made of aluminum, which is one of the best conductors, the frequencies that are conducted from both the STRIDESafe device and the RFID chip throughout the horse’s body are absorbed and reradiated by its four shoes. Each horse, then, carries not one but six continuously radiating antennas throughout each race at Churchill Downs. So with 14 horses normally competing in each race, there are 84 antennas among animals in close proximity to one another running around the track.

What a piece of news, similar to all the other technologies that instead of making our lives easier are killing us instead. Chips, in animals first (except for the military) then us, so medical personnel can track our meds, etc. in case of a medical emergency. It always sounds so "helpful".

I live near Wheeling, WV, and have often driven by the site of "McColloch's Leap" and marveled at the saga. You must be proud to be descended from such Revolutionary heroes, although sadly, mostly forgotten by history, except in the local area, along with the Zane family.

Scott McColloch's avatar

I grew up in West Liberty and (long story) Wheeling. Samuel’s sister Elizabeth “Betsy” married Ebenezer Zane, whose sister was Betty Zane. This plus repetitive traditional Scottish family naming conventions make our genealogy tricky. The Zanes were great great grandparents of Zane Grey, who obtained Ebenezer’s Journal from his parents house in Zanesville. Supposedly Zane’s first three novels were based on this Journal. I have studied the first, Betty Zane (the novel) and it is so geographically accurate that I suspect it is also more generally accurate. In other words Grey didn’t modify much. (I would love to get my hands on a copy of that Journal as it is likely the most accurate early Wheeling history!) Anyway, if you are interested that era of Wheeling history I recommend Betty Zane. If you are interested in McCulloch/McColloch of Myertoun history (we were Gaelic speakers after all so spelling wasn’t a big deal) I wrote an article based in part on genealogy by a cousin Samuel W. available in pdf at the Clan McCulloch web site. I contributed some to the refurbished and relocated monument up on Wheeling Hill and am happy with what they have done with it as I stopped by the old location driving through several years ago and it was showing it’s age.

Such a sweet video of Dr Robert with the foal. The buckskins are beautiful and we look forward to seeing you, Dr Jill in dressage! Pack appropriately for San Antonio. Its already blazing hot here in Texas. I have mulch and a few caladiums I'm going to try to get in before more rain coming next week, but low to mid 90's already and it isn't even June. Ugh.

So many good chuckles. I Want to say you two have inspired me to do more than just vote. I have volunteered for a conservative's campaign here in Iowa. Our governor's seat is open and the primaries are in June. I wanted to do more than just vote and hope. I am not as wise as some, but I am good at research and work. Under the guidance of the candidates campaign I wrote a letter and sent out 150 copies and I will be distributing 150 fliers next week. It's nothing compared to your work, but I hope it helps keep our American values.

We put together a voting guide for Idaho. Feel free to use anything relevant to Iowa. GOOD LUCK and thank you for your work on behalf of conservative values.

Wow, this is great. Personally, I listed each conservative candidate and made a pro/con list. I also attended some of their 'talks'. After my own research, I decided on which candidate to support. then I reached out to their campaign and offered my help. However, I did decline to make phone calls. I am finding politics interesting and confusing and full of fakers. Thank you for the links to your guides and your input.

Big E's avatar

You're so welcome, Brandy. You're doing everything right -- talking, helping especially good. (Agree about making phone calls; we tried this once but won't do it again.)

Absolutely agree about interesting, confusing, and full of fakers! Add to that EXHAUSTING, especially if you aren't an insider (and we're not).

Cherylyn's avatar

I won't do phone calls anymore either. I don't like to be annoyed with calls, so I don't want to annoy others. I've walked door to door a few times, written letters to the editor, hosted town halls, put up signs, sent emails, etc.... trying to wake people up and help those who are trying.

Cherylyn's avatar

I thank you for your voting guide. I have shared it with about 100 people.

Hi Big E. On your guide, only one candidate is listed for governor, Mark Fitzpatrick. Fitzpatrick's site is nice, helpful for folks, except, I noticed he links a video that only talks about Gov Brad Little's Very early covid actions.... and this surprised me. I thought Gov Little did a badass job during the covid BS. Bobby K recognized him as a dang good MAHA governor too - https://idahocapitalsun.com/2025/07/23/as-us-health-secretary-rfk-jr-visits-idaho-gov-little-signs-maha-proclamation/

I've got Idaho in my view - as a potential landing pad. BUT...? Thanks if you can tip me off as to your opinion about the governor. It SO matters, who is the governor.

Hope you and hubby have a great weekend :)

Listened. Thank you. 1st link - His faith journey, and etc. 2nd link - his ideas in running for governor, his website explains his positions. Thanks again, Cllf.

Attorney General Paxton Makes History by Securing a Landmark Healthcare Fraud Settlement that Creates the Nation’s First-Ever Detransition Clinic and Secures $10 Million from Texas Children’s Hospital for “Transitioning” Kids

AUSTIN – Attorney General Ken Paxton secured a historic settlement with Texas Children’s Hospital (“Texas Children’s”) that compels the creation of the country’s first-ever Detransition Clinic; requires the hospital to pay $10 million for billing Texas Medicaid for unallowable and illegal ‘gender-transition’ interventions, including by using false diagnosis codes; and compels the termination and revocation of privileges of multiple physicians.

After a years-long investigation by the Healthcare Program Enforcement Division, Attorney General Paxton has negotiated a historic settlement that will help protect Texans. Under the terms of this landmark agreement, Texas Children’s will establish the first-ever multidisciplinary clinic designed to provide medical care to patients who were subjected to “gender-transition” procedures. This Detransition Clinic will help patients reverse the damage caused by ideologically-motivated physicians who harmed patients by performing dangerous medical interventions for the purpose of “transitioning” them. For the first five years, all services provided through the Detransition Clinic will be funded by Texas Children’s and be free of charge to patients.

As part of the settlement, Texas Children’s has also agreed to fire, permanently and irrevocably terminate all existing privileges, and never again hire or credential five woke doctors who performed harmful medical interventions on Texans. As part of the settlement, Texas Children’s agrees not to provide “gender-transition” services; will implement a host of compliance and ethics measures; and the hospital will amend its bylaws to trigger automatic relinquishment of privileges for any physician who violates Texas’s prohibition on medical interventions to “transition” kids. Attorney General Paxton secured this historic settlement in coordination with President Trump’s Department of Justice.

“Today is a monumental day in the fight to stop the radical transgender movement. This historic settlement reflects an institutional and fundamental cultural shift away from radical ‘gender’ ideology. In addition to helping establish the first-ever Detransition Clinic and securing millions, this settlement will ensure that the deranged child mutilators who hurt our kids are fired and held accountable,” said Attorney General Paxton. “I applaud Texas Children’s Hospital for changing course and committing to being a part of the solution by agreeing to form a first-of-its kind Detransition Clinic that will help provide free care to those who have been victimized by twisted, morally bankrupt transgender ideology. Under my watch, I will investigate and bring the full force of the law against any Texas hospital that abuses children with harmful medical interventions to ‘transition’ kids.”

The cruise ship, and the start of the midterm pandemic.

I see worrisome developments here. First, it's clear the viruses have evolved. This variant is the size of a beach ball, but at least that enables us to see the enemy before us. Second, the new variant has a furin cleavage site that attaches itself to ship hulls.

But every story has its heroes. As the captain, crew, and passengers were freaking out, the janitorial staff fell into action. They rappelled over the sides with rubber gloves, scrubber sponges, and bottles of Formula 409. They had everything shipshape in no time.

I suppose I should say this: that my attempt at humor is based on the cartoon image alone. To the actual case, rightly or wrongly, I have barely paid attention. I am fatigued with even having to distinguish between the real and the fabricated; victims and crisis actors. I am fatigued with those who incessantly lie and manipulate, and still demand to be taken seriously.

No matter what they publish I feel exhausted, write comments like blah, blah, blah, and scream “FAKE “ at reporters. Then I make up hilarious memes and satirical jokes about them. Yep, it’s MFS. James Lord has it too.

PROVIDENT: NIAID's Andes Virus Research Project Launched in 2024

"Pioneering Pandemic Preparedness Against Hantaviruses and Other Emerging Threats"

"Project PROVIDENT—formally known as “Prepositioning Optimized Strategies for Vaccines and Immunotherapeutics against Diverse Emerging Infectious Threats”—is a major U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID)-funded initiative launched in September 2024 as part of the broader ReVAMPP (Research and Development of Vaccines and Monoclonal Antibodies for Pandemic Preparedness) Network.

The Project is led by Kartik Chandran, PhD, at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in collaboration with 13 academic, government, and industry partners, including the University of Texas at Austin, University of New Mexico, U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID), Houston Methodist Hospital, HDT Bio, and others.

The Project has received approximately $70 million in funding over five years (through June 2029). Its mission is to develop rapid, generalizable “plug-and-play” platforms for vaccines and monoclonal antibody (mAb) therapies targeting high-priority RNA virus families with pandemic potential: Nairoviridae, Hantaviridae, and Paramyxoviridae.

A main focus of PROVIDENT is research on hantaviruses, using Andes virus (ANDV)—the prototype pathogen for the Hantaviridae family—as a key model.

ANDV, endemic to South America and notable as the only hantavirus that is purported to transmit person-to-person, causes hantavirus pulmonary syndrome with high fatality rates and poses unique outbreak risks..."

From Coffee and Covid Substack this morning:

"In a widely shared clip of Kennedy’s comments, he mentioned a new billing code that will allow doctors to be reimbursed for de-prescribing antidepressants and helping wean patients off them when they aren’t producing a “clinical benefit.” Take two of these LESS and call me in the morning."

"In other words, finally, doctors will have an economic incentive to not prescribe mind-altering drugs and to stop antidepressants when they don’t work— even when stopping isn’t easy. A billing code that pays doctors to un-prescribe is the most subversive line item ever to appear in the Federal Register. Pharma built the SSRI economy on a billing code that rewarded prescribing. Kennedy is reversing the racket using its own machinery. Brilliant."

pgramsey's avatar

Getting off of SSRIs is a lot easier than getting on them. Recognizing that professional assistance is required is highly subversive.

I know someone who got flippantly put on SSRIs after a particular life event. Decades later they're still on them. They've tried to get off, and have managed to wean themselves down to the minimum dose. Their doctors keep insisting that they stay on. The patient has quit cold turkey, only to experience "blackest black" and gone back on. The side effects (the well documented ones) remain.

I knew someone (and the past tense is a deliberate choice here) who quit SSRIs when the side effects (one of the well documented ones) got too much. Let's just say it didn't work out well for my friend or the person they lived with.

LB (Little Birdie)'s avatar

I can see pain in your response. I too have friends/family on this dreaded medicine. I note changes in mood if they forget a days worth.

I think/hope RFKJ could have a plan to wean from dependency with possible non medical (combos of exercises/meditation/chiropratic/acupuncture/herbal?) solutions. I'm only guessing, but can't see him not understanding the ramifications of withdrawal horrors.

I loved the video with the foal. How wonderful and sweet that must be. And I love the Friday Funnies today. You always share the truth and debunk the lies that are spread out there, especially with the mainstream media. And my response to them saying we need a vaccination for Hanta Virus or any other lies about why we need these fake vaccines is NEVER AGAIN.

pgramsey's avatar

Hantavirus is spread from infected rodents. The tender-hearted politicians who keep taking away every means of controlling rodent population is setting the peasants up for a rodent-borne epidemic. Which they will pretend to fix with another few billion for their favorite pharma companies.
