"An armed republic submits less easily to the rule of one of its citizens than a republic armed by foreign forces. Rome and Sparta were for many centuries well armed and free. The Swiss are well armed and enjoy great freedom. Among other evils caused by being disarmed, it renders you contemptible. It is not reasonable to suppose that one who is armed will obey willingly one who is unarmed; or that any unarmed man will remain safe among armed servants." - Niccolo Machiavelli, "The Prince" (1532)

When you disarm the people, you commence to offend them and show that you distrust them either through cowardice or lack of confidence, and both of these opinions generate hatred. - Niccolo Machiavelli

Before all else, be armed. - Niccolo Machiavelli

You had me at MN state bird. Do you know HOW MANY blue haired women look like that in real life? Uncanny.

If you can find a copy read "The Reagan Diaries". Reagan is his own words. Great insight into that era and how bad it was behind the scenes.

And the Epstein cartoon depicting the planet as his island. I know people want perp walks and arrests and to shoot the pedos after a scrupulously fair trial. I get it. I have worked child sex crimes, talked my wife out of outright murder of certain pedophiles (she worked child sex crimes for six years...it takes a toll) and understand the frustration of the seeming lack of movement on the whole of the Epstein data dump.

Never forget that the people on the "list" are the same individuals causing most of the worlds problems. In Police circles the very bad actors would often get arrested for stupid misdemeanors. Once a bad guy is "on paper", this includes court supervision, conditional discharge, pre-trial investigation, out on bond, conditions of bail, etc. re-arresting or adding charges is SO MUCH easier. They always screw up...ALWAYS.

The Brits have apparently started the ball rolling by arresting the now former Prince Andrew. Lets hope that trend continues here and elsewhere.
