The best thing that could ever happen to the generation of kids that are in public schools right now is if this woke department of education gets out of local and public schools. Over the summer I went into my local high school and walked around a bit. Right in the main lobby is a big glass case filled with rainbows, trans info, woke info, nothing educational at all. All this Marxist woke agenda which has nothing to do with education, being stuffed down the throats of these pour kids. I couldn’t help but think of 8th grade kids in China taking calculus courses, getting a real class A education, while our kids are getting a headful of mind numbing nonsense. Nothing that will help them in life’s journey. The department of education, which has completely failed our kids, should have been gone decades ago when Ronald Reagan was president. It figures Jimmy Carter was its creator.
Although an agnostic, I am somewhat bemused by our Republic's drift into secularism. Read a book recently that may offer a clue. It mentioned how the hardened protestant Harvard college was transformed in the 1800s by embracing Unitarianism. Hmm. Born and raised in the Bible Belt have little personal knowledge of Unitarians tho have attended one of their services which struck me as being as religious as Wednesday nite bingo. And so because the gap between secularism and Unitarianism seems not so large to me as to be unbridgeable, I wonder, knowing how Harvard emulation has infected academia, if this was not the open door to secularism our Republic seems to be embracing. Christianity in all sects and Judaism promote that humans beings are made in the image of God.

While the signers-off of our Declaration and Constitution were Christian for the most part, our Founding Fathers did not pretend to settle these religious questions in a definitive way. My theory on how this all came about? America used to be #1 in the world in math and science. How did it go from the top to the bottom ? I really believe that the drugs and vaccines that have been promoted, since the 1950s with the Well Baby Promotion. in the 1950s.....getting people to take their children into doctors offices regularly for vaccines did a lot of damage to children's brains. Doctor had no comprehension how the bloodstream carried substances in prescribed drugs and vaccines into the brain.. The glands in the brain are nourished by the bloodstream...and there is no nourishment in drugs and vaccines. The matter in them would be toxic. They would harm the glands. These glands control the ability to think, logic, analyzation, memory, coordination, balance, speech, behavior, emotional development, motor skills and more. I have observed what the drugs and vaccines did to people in my life for the last 70 years.
The teacher's unions are also at fault. Our local district passed a levy, again. So now they are buying vans, hiring a cheerleading coach for middle school, etc. Why not? The money is free...

Funny but likely true about Dolly. Through my brother's in-laws and their weekly country music show I met a musician and close friend of theirs, Garry (fiddle and mandolin player), who grew up playing in their show and later went on to Nashville. While the signers-off of our Declaration and Constitution were Christian for the most part, our Founding Fathers did not pretend to settle these religious questions in a definitive way. There is a local Unitarian Church here in Mt Vernon.. only one and it is large.. hidden in the most upscale area in Mt Vernon. I had friends who lived there and that is how I found out about it. I did some research and I am not sure to this day what the Unitarian beliefs are.. let me look again..

Funny but likely true about Dolly. Through my brother's in-laws and their weekly country music show I met a musician and close friend of theirs, Garry (fiddle and mandolin player), who grew up playing in their show and later went on to Nashville. He toured with Dolly just a few years ago. He has said she was exactly as she seemed, it wasn't just a public persona. So rare and wonderful to know.
When we went to Dollywood last fall I immediately noticed thousands of missing things from her "museum" there...I didn't know she was building a museum in Nashville so it's great to know they aren't missing but were just relocated.
