Ok I laughed out loud at the eyeball cookies. But it's only a woman (i.e. Dr Lynn) who could create such humor without being thought crass.

My girlfriend was watching the video of 'Halloween, way back a hundred years or so, may have been a lot creepier…'

I happened to glance over, without realizing that it was from the Friday Funnies. I had to ask why she was watching the Democrat National Convention.

The quote from Mark Twain is priceless! I always wondered “why I was born- what was my purpose”. I did find out why, but it took a long time to realize “what & why”. My Daughter has been my rock the past several years, & she helped me understand many things, but showing me that God always had me on “my path", & “my back”, as she explained to me. She has helped me understand the Bible & has guided me to find my “WHY”. I love her more & more each day:)…!

The barry "knowing a guy" ones were my favorites.

Halloween investigators worked diligently to identify the source of that awful cackle. They narrowed the field of suspects down to four, dressed as Hillary, Kamala, a witch, and a chicken. All others were released.

"I VOTE" THAT MALONE'S MEMES WILL NOW REPLACE ALL POLITICAL ADS ON TV, IN PRINT & ONLINE :)> Today's are priceless- can't overestimate how true this witty satire is! A little laughter is good for the soul. Political ads on the phone, in-box, mail, on all our apps......enough already.

If your memes could be broadcast - in no time at all, we might wake up the "sleeping Americans", the deceived, morally-dishelved despots, and the reality-uneducated under 40's. Those who've forgotten to think for themselves, learn from real history and life experiences, who still operate from an inner moral compass. It doesnt take a Republic full of canonized saints to "keep a Republic", but it will take those with common decency, love for his fellow man, and living from a inner place of virtue and truth. These values still matter. Goodness is priceless.

A lot of funny memes in this edition Drs Malone, I had a hearty laugh.

I noticed the netting over the blueberry bushes in the video, we netted for the first time this year and actually picked a great yield! I didn't realize we were getting robbed in years past.

Our plum tree, for the first time, had about 100 plums on it...I didn't get a single one.

Not sure about you, but November 3rd cannot get here soon enough, I have political ad fatigue bigley!

Thanks for the levity!

He might have seen enough to dissuade him from ever entering politics. But he's very young, there are all kinds of paths he might take.

Or…

By then there might not be an America - or worth governing.

By the time people wake up I’m fearful bloodshed will be the only way back.

25 years ago we were attacked by Islamists, today the children of those murdered are voting for Islamists. While there are more data points, that’s the one that says the most.

Just a sincere thank you to both of you and the other dozen folks you must keep hidden so you can keep up the pace. You are appreciated.

My wristwatch is 20 min off in addition to its not adjusting the hour. It doesn't accommodate my efforts to correct it.

That sounds like a party favor from a DNC convention

Oh, Oh, this Substack is on a roll....belly laugh roll! Yes, to the cookies, but on a more serious side, I loved the Twain reminder. Travel ain't what it use to be!! Finally, on the Wow factor, just look at those pictures of an up and coming Trump, alongside a now more seasoned, but equally young photo of a Trump.

Campaign ads, gooooo awayyyy!

Happy Tricks or Treats:: get on up out of that rocker and enjoy!!

1st, You made a really good ad for "Homesteading For Health". and the whole strip is great.

I think the cookies came out of the oven with a case of Eyebola. Don't make those to hand out to trick or treaters. Unless it is for an adult party served with boubon. I enjoyed the setting clocks back. Each seasonal change I try to reset my stove, microwave, bedroom clock, wrist watch, and car radio. What are the odds that any of them will be exactly the same? The wrist watch is the worst to reset.

LB (Little Birdie)'s avatar

I quit resetting my car clock, and it drives my husband bonkers!

A loongg time ago the library branch I was working for bought a bunch of 'atomic' wall clocks. Several years later, they decided to get rid of them. I asked the office manager why, and she said they never worked. I asked it I might have one, and she let me. It hangs over the TV in our den. It has faithfully changed the time every year I have had it. It just does it the day before. Trick or Treat?

Swabbie Robbie's avatar

We have 2 atomic Clocks. They are quite good, though I have to be careful where I put them or they might not reset, because they may not get the signal. If the battery is weak they won't update and then when the battery is changed they may take about 12 hour to reset. I manually set whatever I can.
