Most Congressman and Congresswomen are not only spineless, they have allowed Big Pharma to hold their tongue! Senator Greene and Massie made the mistake of not letting that happen. How can we ever heal this nation when the truth is being buried under 6 feet of manure.
Within the last two years, I've seen Bill Gates walking the halls of Congress, and seated for dinner at the White House. And I just say, you people just don't get it, do you?
It's harder and harder to know for sure what's real and what isn't. But if this man is indeed dumping infected ticks (and I've seen some video showing what appears to be a helicopter doing just that), and we're all sitting here just watching it happen, the only inferences I can make are dark ones. (PS: This came up in a recent conversation between Joe Rogan and Rep. Tim Burchett)
I recall that very conversation and my internal alarm went off; then the story about the tick boxes being dropped on farmlands came out. A few days later I read on Medscape that a new Lyme vaccine (2.0) was entering into phase3 trials… the dots are connecting!
Critics who label Senator John Thune a "RINO" (Republican In Name Only) typically point to his legislative record, his positions on federal spending, and his past conflicts with Donald Trump.
Ties to the Establishment: Critics view him as a protégé of former Senate Leader Mitch McConnell, arguing that he perpetuates an institutional, insider approach to governance rather than fighting to dismantle the status quo.
***********************
These senators are often labeled RINOs due to their frequent participation in bipartisan legislative coalitions, votes for government funding bills, or willingness to compromise on high-profile legislation.
Susan Collins (Maine): Routinely criticized by the right for her moderate voting record, support for certain Democratic judicial nominees, and independent stances on social issues.
Lisa Murkowski (Alaska): Known for a highly independent streak, frequently bucking the party line on energy, judicial nominees, and health care policy.
Bill Cassidy (Louisiana): Drew heavy criticism from the populist right after voting to convict Donald Trump in his second impeachment trial and for working on bipartisan infrastructure legislation.
Thom Tillis (North Carolina): Frequently targeted by conservative activists for leading bipartisan negotiations on immigration, gun control, and criminal justice reform.
Todd Young (Indiana): Criticized by some conservative groups for his work on large, bipartisan spending packages like the CHIPS and Science Act.
2. Traditional Establishment Leadership
Populist factions frequently apply the label to members of the Senate Republican leadership team, arguing they represent the "Washington establishment" rather than the populist grassroots.
John Thune (South Dakota): As Senate Majority Leader, he is frequently targeted by the party's right wing due to his roots in the traditional corporate-conservative wing of the party and past friction with Donald Trump.
John Cornyn (Texas): Often labeled a RINO by conservative activists in his home state for his long tenure in leadership and his role in negotiating the 2022 bipartisan gun control bill.
3. Retired or Former Senators
Historically, the label was most famously applied to senators who have since left office, providing the blueprint for current intra-party criticism:
Mitt Romney (Utah): Perhaps the most frequent target of the label during his tenure due to being the only Republican senator to vote to convict Donald Trump in both impeachment trials.
Mitch McConnell (Kentucky): Heavily targeted by the "America First" movement during his time as Republican Leader for his focus on institutionalism and foreign aid packages.
Many felt that Former U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell - works with the CCP benefit for his wife's family. Senator John Thune a "RINO" is a protégé of former Senate Leader Mitch McConnell.
Report: McConnell’s sister-in-law named to Bank of China board 10 days after Trump election.
China appointed the sister-in-law of U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to the Bank of China’s board of directors, the author of a new book on the monetizing of political influence said.
Angela Chao was named to the Bank of China’s board of directors just 10 days after Trump’s victory, said Peter Schweizer, author of “Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends”.
Chao and McConnell’s father-in-law, James Chao, also sit on the board of the China State Shipbuilding Corporation which is the largest defense contractor in China.
“So when [Donald Trump] gets elected in 2016, China is in a panic. So one of the things that happens is, they appoint, really, the first American, or only the second foreigner to the Bank of China,” Schweizer said on the April 23 edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight.
“Now, the Bank of China is government-run, government-controlled, is sort of the backbone of the Chinese government’s economic diplomacy around the world. Ten days after Donald Trump is elected, they put Elaine Chao’s sister – Mitch McConnell’s sister-in-law – on the board of directors of the fourth largest bank in the world, which is run by the Chinese communist government. It’s a shocking development, and, again, unprecedented in American history that you would have senior political leaders have immediate family members that are sitting on the board of foreign government-owned businesses.”
********************
In China, the Chaos are no ordinary family. They run an American shipping company with deep ties to the economic and political elite in China, where most of the company’s business is centered. The trip was abruptly canceled by Ms. Chao after the ethics question was referred to officials in the State and Transportation Departments and, separately, after The New York Times and others made inquiries about her itinerary and companions.
I have been on two HOAs in the past; once as the president. There are two types of people that serve on HOAs, one wants to genuinely serve the community, the other has an axe to grind.
I remember once getting an email that there was a weed by the front entrance and to contact the landscapers. I replied to all "Why don't you just pluck it?" :)
Sounds like my former next door neighbor. There was a water fountain in the atrium. The sound of the water "kept her up all night", so she would unplug it. I plugged it back in every morning, until someone (her) cut the end of the plug off.
Yes, I have read stories about HOA’s, & how specific people in an HOA, monitor neighborhoods searching for problem homes; people who don’t cut the grass, or put up lights outside. Stupid things to report back to HOA management.
Yup! I remember my daughter & her husband rented a home with the owner, a friend- in an HOA community. The “HOA Guard” of the subdivision, would drive around daily looking for HOA perps, & of course, the home she & her hubby shared was notified of too many cars parked at the house. So, of course, the owner was cited, & complied with the HOA, but eventually ended up in court! It was costly for the owner to fight the HOA!
Wanna hear something funny? Christopher Wray is a Republican and a member of the Federalist Society. Say what you will about him; no one can accuse him of moving slowly. Just ask the J6ers. Comey WAS also a Republican.
Sometimes I wonder which is worse; the enemy, or someone pretending to be an ally.
Malone News with another entertainingly sarcastic and funny article but sadly an accurate account of the dysfunction that exists in both government and society. The question remains. Can we return this country and our Congress to the values that our founders envisioned?
We are on the event horizon of a black hole where, time stops and you are stretched into electrons then inevitably consumed and used to increase the gravitational mass.
Republican In Name Only: “Retreat Is Now Official.”, “Republicans Ignoring Normal Americans.”
“Republicans Incapable of Not Surrendering.”
Unfortunately, the Republican Party IS full of RINOS, those who vote for RINOS, or those who don't vote at all and expect different outcomes. Case in point...
While there were some bright spots (especially in North Idaho!), overall the Idaho Republican primary results were not good for conservatives.
Conservative voters who sat out the primaries (or who listened to lies, smears, and misinformation) helped all Idahoans move to the socialist states of California, Oregon, and Washington without hiring a van!
You said it all Doc. We sorely need a third party to emerge and take control of the county. A party that adheres to the constitution and has the citizens first. It’s not going to be a simple task but if we don’t get out from under this two party rule it’s just going to destroy us all. The forefathers were especially concerned about a two party system. We are Americans and are pissed off. The Dems are the ones who fought FOR slavery. Everyone seems to have forgotten that. The DC corrupt uni-party needs to be broken. Thanks for this one. Needed it to know we aren’t alone.
I don't think a 3rd party will do it. There are third parties already. they never have traction and mostly serve as a relief valve for a small numbered of disgruntled people. We need to fundamentally examine the purpose of a political party, its power, and limits and scope. But most importantly a check on them by the citizens, and I don't mean just the ability to vote for the other guy, who has likely been preselected for us by the the deep state owner class which should not exist, but always has. WE THE PEOPLE are looking at a task as big as the founding of the country itself, but with the hindsight of 250 years history of what not to do.
Years ago I read that the Senatorial Republican Committee’s main goal was to re-elect sitting Republicans Senators. So if you contribute to that fund, you are greatly reducing the chance of getting an actual conservative Republican in the Senate.
And I started replying to Thune's request for donations by saying in Huge text: PASS THE SAVE AMERICA ACT NOW. END THE FILIBUSTER NOW. And suddenly the requests have stopped!
This Friday Funnies included another mistake made by a husband. I'm wondering, as a husband, if there are training sessions available to teach how to interact successfully. I've tried not reacting but have gotten accused for ignoring. I've been steadily practicing to suppress what immediately comes natural to human interactions. It appears that maybe a good pre-marital class would include being sent into a dark room blindfolded filled with cacti and told to find the light-switch on the opposite wall, you now have 5 seconds. The essay about the beagles is still on my mind.
As a typical wife (yes, a generalization based on my experiences observing others marriage dynamics), it took me over 40 years of marriage to finally understand that regular fault finding doesn't work and has the negative effect (understatement) of enhancing chronic stress on your husband's system. The wake-up call is hearing "You are constantly complaining." Now, when a wife hears that statement, she can choose to react instantly with her reptilian brain, or wait a few beats, have a level of self awareness, revisit the past interactions and see how she'd feel if she was the recipient of the constant remarks and demands. I decided to make a change and just "do" and let him be who he is. The result: we actually like spending time together, calmly letting things go that aren't that important. Now, he steps up without being asked to help. When that happens, wives, do not say "Thanks for doing that," because no matter how you say it, it will sound sarcastic. You don't need to say a thing. Just be grateful to be married to a guy who stuck with you during your self awareness challenge.
That is so neat Barb. God bless you. My loving wife takes on all manner of responsibilities and problems as a personal attack. We were caregivers for about 40 years and she declared war on every negative health issue that popped up. Now she has taken on the mantel as self-appointed life-coach for me. Hahahaha, I wouldn't have it any other way.
Okay then, someone's pissed! The sarcastic humor was deep and accurate and right on! This time in history is like having a front row seat to the sinking of the Titanic. The Native Americans had a word for their "traitors" like an apple; red on the outside, white on the inside. Seems fitting.

Absolutely LOVE the comparison to HOA..as sadly, we live in one and have been targeted for the way we vote. I call HOA's little commie villages..

We have a woman on our HOA community Facebook page that always post as anonymous. Both bitch moan complaint but won’t be identified.
Sounds like my former next door neighbor. There was a water fountain in the atrium. The sound of the water "kept her up all night", so she would unplug it. I plugged it back in every morning, until someone (her) cut the end of the plug off.
There's more stories about her...
Yes, I have read stories about HOA’s, & how specific people in an HOA, monitor neighborhoods searching for problem homes; people who don’t cut the grass, or put up lights outside. Stupid things to report back to HOA management.
Knew one guy reported for leaving a shovel against the side ofhis house over nite. Tsk.
And then the HOA gets photos, the most expensive law firm around, files suit and charges the homeowner for the cists!

With an enemy you always know what to expect. With someone pretending to be an ally, that is betrayal. Betrayal is unforgivable.
Why we hung traitors. Today that would include a hefty % of congress
Nothing but truth here.

In Utah, I was amazed that Romney, a clear RINO, kept getting reelected for years. Was very glad to see him gone...
Remember, the contest to replace The Turtle was between Thune and Cornyn, Tweedle Dee and Twiddle Dumb. Replace Thune w/ Senator Kennedy, (R) LA.
I'm not clear. I thought Senator Kennedy is on his way out to a State position?

A two or or even three party system works ONLY if the component parts work. Forgive me for not waiting for that event while I hold my breath.

Thanks for saying what we’re all feeling!!
Exactly!
You did it again, Jill! You somehow again got into my heart and brain and expressed EXACTLY how I feel and why! Keep it up, Girl!
This so right and so wrong! Right as in accurate and wrong as in a total corruption of what our Legislative Branch is supposed to be!
Years ago I read that the Senatorial Republican Committee’s main goal was to re-elect sitting Republicans Senators. So if you contribute to that fund, you are greatly reducing the chance of getting an actual conservative Republican in the Senate.
That's exactly why I'm sending the little I can afford to specific candidates.
They want to run, let them spend some of their overpaid money. Screw them.
An unfortunate but true summary, thus far...
