On Tuesday our country took a step, many voting with blurry eyes, towards communism.
People that have fled communist regimes and migrated here to America warned Americans but many Americans chose not to listen.
Election after election Jewish voters overwhelmingly have voted for democrats. For Jewish people today, they wake up in a country where discrimination against Jews is not only creeping but now will be governing. When it comes to discrimination against Jews the party that will soon run congress looks the other way.
Election after election black voters give the party of slavery, the Democratic Party, their loyalty, about 9 out of 10. Election after election they get left behind. Their schools fail, their streets bleed, their neighborhoods are last in line. And as of late, when the money gets handed out illegal aliens stand in front of them. Billions of dollars. Free hotels, free debit cards, free phones, free everything. This for people that broke our laws to get here. Meanwhile the American citizen gets pushed to the back of the line. That’s not hate talking that’s democrat reality. Loyalty that is never paid back is no longer loyalty, it’s a habit and Tuesday night the habit was in control again.
And then there’s the strangest alliance in American politics, the gay and lesbian community, marching proudly with a coalition which makes large space for political Islam. The people in the parade may not want to hear this but under sharia law homosexuality is not tolerated it is punished. By sharia, gay people are imprisoned flogged and executed. The Islamic state threw gay men from rooftops while the world watched. That is not opinion that is the law on the books. So when the Islamist wing of the democrat coalition is strong enough, which promise will survive (Chuck Schumer ?) the promise they made to you or the promises they made to their god?
Then there’s the average American, many who have no real coalition, just work and struggle to put food on the table and pay their bills. Many Americans that pay 4 dollars a gallon for gas now, voted, and will soon pay double that. They will watch 4 dollar gas rise along with energy costs, food, taxes, etc. The costs of living will climb up the same hill. Across the board costs will rise making government dependency a must for millions.
Every group gets sold the same two lies. Dependence; we will feed you, we will house you, forgive you and own you. The Islamist offers silence. Say nothing about us, don’t question us, or be branded a bigot on the spot. Dependency and silence that’s the old communist program. One takes your wallet the other takes your voice and together they take your country. Communism is forced dependency and silence that’s the program.
Although the election was a disaster we should never lose focus. Day by day we must take back one institution by one. We have to keep in front of us a vision of what we want for America. What we keep in front of us is what we are moving towards. Don’t have a small vision. When you believe in something great, when you believe to set a higher standard for your family, when you take the limits off of God and say God I don’t see a way but I know You have a way. When you believe big like that you please God.
Physically placing something in front of you, seeing it everyday, will push you in that direction. For instance place a copy of the Constitution on a table where you sit. Pick it up, read it, pray that America will continue to follow it. If someone asks what or why it’s there tell them, “I want America to move back towards the Constitution”. We have to keep in front of us a vision of what we want for America.
People may try to talk you out of what’s in your heart but Americans are special. What the communist doesn’t understand is a true American, and there are tens of millions of us, will never hand the communist the keys to our liberty. The enemy would like nothing more than for us to give up. We will never give up! Keep the faith!
I tried to talk reasonably to some Democrats yesterday. All I got was abuse and insults. I did my crying yesterday, not because I was hurt but because I am sad for mankind. To know there are humans that can be so inhumane to others is a spiritual disappointment. I know God is not done with them but Satan feels so powerful now. I prayed last night and I'm back on track today. But I won't waste my time like that anymore. My time is better spent praying and working more directly on my own life.
My sister has a severe case of TDS. Election night she kept texting me over and over again trying to get a rise out of me about the debacle. She is so gleeful. She wrote “Trump is finally going to get his, LOL”. My only response to her was “We’re all going to get it”! I honestly think Trump will be just fine, that may be right or wrong, but it’s the average hard working struggling American that will have to deal with communist senators and a communist senate for the next 6 years that’s what really tugs on my heart.

And their own govt is hanging on by a thread! Now I can laugh, but on Wedn. I had to hang up on my dad, which was very hard, and I had to take something to easy my nerves. And I had to bribe my poor dog, who thought I was angry at her! (I talked to myself - not having anyone to talk to... )

I read an interesting analysis advising we older folks will be significantly diminished in upcoming elections. That the predominate Gens will lack our perspectives and knowledges of the past. The author suggested we need to take action and get the informed- up to speed.
I signed up for PA bootcamp beginning Monday. I'm starting a family history site, posting letters and info from my relatives who have died who the young ones will never meet or know about. Using items like my grandmother's dishes, dining table, etc which give me opportunity to talk about our deceased relatives and their history and their values. And trying to keep with family traditions like 4th of July, TGiving and Christmas and thing we did such as growing veggies and roses (while admitting I have not focused on these much in the past few years) and will be give a couple Homesteading books to inspire the 30-ish young me who just got married. Saving all my American history books and books by American writers like Mark Twain, Faulkner, Hemmingway , etc

We had that in Canada. A conservative third party evolved out in the West and was the the predominate conservative party in the 1990s. It just split the vote allowing the Liberals (our democrats) to easily win several elections, expecially after the conservatives introduced the hated GST tax in the early 1990s that wiped out the conservatives to only 2 seats in the legislature. As was predictable, the two conservative parties merged in the early 2000s. It has not smartened up Canadian politicians. What an excellent comment at the end of a most discouraging week. I found it difficult to have much hope. Your admonition to take the limits off of God is well taken. And the idea of physically placing the Constitution in a prominent place in my house, alongside my Bible perhaps, is something concrete that I can do. Then I must faithfully read them.

PS Europe has had a version of 'social medicine' and it was good until the EU came around. Wellin most countries it was. It was not in the Netherlands. Has it ever been tested? the system there is now surely not good either. When my husband died here, I would have had to pay 800 $ or so, and I had a retirement of 418. I know people who had to give up their insurance because it kept going up, some over 1200$. In Europe I paid 10% of my income, taken off before I got my check. I could go to each and every doctor and most meds were covered. The system is now way worse, but at the time it was great. Everyone there had coverage. I know lots of people here who have none. Thankfully there are a few places where they accept poor people (like the one where I went until 4 years ago, when I got SS).
We have Medicaid as a safety net for poor people, it was taken over by the volumes of undocumented people, and very hard to qualify unless you are an illegal it seems. I know a man who has been here 30 years on Green card, he brought his under 65 wife and son here just before 2025 and they had Medicaid with 3 months of being here. I like them and want to have health care but it takes away from old and poor citizens. Trump has been trying to have the undocumented removed and has received a lot of hate for it. Good news, maybe, Trump and Congress were trying to stop funding insurance companies and give that money directly to the people who can choose and pay for their own. He believes competition alone will lower prices. We have to wait and see.
Yes. For 2 years, under Trump 1, I had a safety net insurance. Biden immediately stopped it and they tried to install it again when the covidmania broke out, but I decided against it and wait out the 2 more years until I turned 65, praying I would not get sick, and I did not. It is very sad, that illegals get all the benefits that should go to citizens, no matter how nice the people are. I too am an immigrant, 23 years ago, and at the time had to sign I would not ask the govt for anything (I was told it is only for the first 3 years, but still) I had to pay the documents, the travel, the fees, for legal immigration, which mounted to well over 2000$. You can imagine I am not happy to see illegals under Biden get luxury hotel rooms, 2000 a month and a free cell phone! while I lived on 425 bucks a month. I was very lucky to have made friends, who helped me for me helping them in turn!

What an excellent comment at the end of a most discouraging week. I found it difficult to have much hope. Your admonition to take the limits off of God is well taken. And the idea of physically placing the Constitution in a prominent place in my house, alongside my Bible perhaps, is something concrete that I can do. Then I must faithfully read them.

Very well said, James! It is mind-boggling to me that these people who voted Democrat don't see what is actually happening regarding the Muslims. I blame the mainstream media for this because they lie and omit information that doesn't fit the left leaning agenda. These news agencies are not the news agencies of 20-30 years ago--they are just propaganda outlets the likes of Nazi Germany and communist countries. They are the enemy of the American people.
Stupidity or something else? Conservatives have a hard time understanding why seemingly intelligent people would vote for people who support policies that will eventually take away freedom and liberty. A lot of support comes from the short sighted free stuff crowd, but there are others like gays and trans who support Islam. They know Islamist have killed gays and will kill gays when that have the power to do so. Women support Islamist knowing how they treat women. Men know they will enslave or kill non-believers. Is it possible they are driven by something that overpowers logic and reasoning? I'm talking about dark spiritual forces acting in the minds of people to go against what is good for themselves and humanity. If this is true then trying to correct the path of this country with logic and reasoning is hopeless. The only hope is to spread the spirit of God who can renew the minds of people to seek what is good.

As to all things political - a change of faces does not mean a change of crap. IMO all politicians (and especially those with double nationality) should be dismissed. Wouldn't that save the country a whole lot more money than any other thing?
PS Europe has had a version of 'social medicine' and it was good until the EU came around. Wellin most countries it was. It was not in the Netherlands. But it was in Germany and France, and it was fair in Belgium. Not sure about the other countries, but it is faisable if it is not run by greedy govts.

Has it ever been tested? the system there is now surely not good either. When my husband died here, I would have had to pay 800 $ or so, and I had a retirement of 418. I know people who had to give up their insurance because it kept going up, some over 1200$. In Europe I paid 10% of my income, taken off before I got my check. I could go to each and every doctor and most meds were covered. The system is now way worse, but at the time it was great. Everyone there had coverage. I know lots of people here who have none. Thankfully there are a few places where they accept poor people (like the one where I went until 4 years ago, when I got SS).
We have Medicaid as a safety net for poor people, it was taken over by the volumes of undocumented people, and very hard to qualify unless you are an illegal it seems. I know a man who has been here 30 years on Green card, he brought his under 65 wife and son here just before 2025 and they had Medicaid with 3 months of being here. I like them and want to have health care but it takes away from old and poor citizens. Trump has been trying to have the undocumented removed and has received a lot of hate for it. Good news, maybe, Trump and Congress were trying to stop funding insurance companies and give that money directly to the people who can choose and pay for their own. He believes competition alone will lower prices. We have to wait and see.
Yes. For 2 years, under Trump 1, I had a safety net insurance. Biden immediately stopped it and they tried to install it again when the covidmania broke out, but I decided against it and wait out the 2 more years until I turned 65, praying I would not get sick, and I did not. It is very sad, that illegals get all the benefits that should go to citizens, no matter how nice the people are. I too am an immigrant, 23 years ago, and at the time had to sign I would not ask the govt for anything (I was told it is only for the first 3 years, but still) I had to pay the documents, the travel, the fees, for legal immigration, which mounted to well over 2000$. You can imagine I am not happy to see illegals under Biden get luxury hotel rooms, 2000 a month and a free cell phone! while I lived on 425 bucks a month. I was very lucky to have made friends, who helped me for me helping them in turn!

Pets and time change. Have learned cats have 2 clocks, one in their head, which is,stuck on the pre change time and one in the tum which remembers time span since last feed. The trick after time change is syncing the 2 clocks. We are up to 1/2 hr diff now
My dog has decided to skip breakfast and only eat at 4pm!
And my automatic outside lights are confused as well- it’s almost 10am and they are still on 😵💫
Micheal, I start changing the time to eat (for the cats) about a week or so ahead of time change. We are now in sync.
