We've been grieving so much, and never even met Charlie. Trying to understand all the whys of the grief being so deep. And then Chad Prather posted these beautiful words this morning:

I feel a little today like I did almost 62 yrs ago when I was in my 5th grade classroom.
There was a phone on the wall, it rang and my teacher answered it. After just a moment she turned to us 10 yo children crying and telling us our president had been assassinated.
I remember the funeral procession and JFK's children being so young.

I can so identify with that. I was in my elementary school cafeteria when the principal came in and said that President Kennedy had been killed and they let school out for the rest of the day. My family was shattered and so upset…a reminder of the agony of losing a revered man, a leader whom people loved. Hearing about Charlie, from the gunshot announcement to the abject sadness and anger at hearing of his death brought those deep feelings back to the surface. I, like many, still have a hard time believing that this young, brilliant lover of Christ was taken from us. May our country recover from this devastating event, and those other events that took young lives while praying and on mass transit, with a call for uniting in prayer and speaking out with fervor against such hatred and violence. Has to stop! We must find a way to locate these young men who are so mentally sick before they murder again. 🙏🏻🇺🇸

We've been grieving so much, and never even met Charlie. Trying to understand all the whys of the grief being so deep. And then Chad Prather posted these beautiful words this morning:

We often ask on these pages just how can anyone really believe the socialist claptrap they seem to? I believe that their susceptibility may stem from our culture's deep dive into secularism. Studies show that >80% of humans are strongly impelled to believe...in something. So feed generations of secularized kids whose need to believe is a vacuum an endless dose of socialist dogma and you have what we have today. The lines of division are coming into focus at all demographic levels in society, the latest being the 14 - 24 year-old age group. High schools and college-aged kids are finally seeing the truth but it only sticks if they get out of the propaganda institutions (public high school and college) that write and teach it.

Deuteronomy 28 describes a nation that is either blessed or cursed. Blessings come when a nation acknowledges God and follows His laws or instructions. Curses come when a nation forgets God and lives by its own standards. List the blessings and curses side by side, and determine where we are as a nation. Therein lies our problem and solution.
I am advocating for A CALL TO CHRIST—not a call to a religion, religious rituals, religious denominations and self-righteous works, etc., but a call to a personal relationship with Christ who died for or sins, and changes our minds, hearts, and actions, to be more like Him, by simply trusting in Him.
No matter what our church, local, state, and federal government does, and our nation toward God and His Word, each person will stand before God and give an answer to his relationship with Christ. Therefore, it’s imperative that we look at ourselves and determine if we are in right relationship with Him, no matter what others or our nation does—and there is a Cost to following Christ—Charlie Kirk paid the cost of professing Christ, and trying to apply God’s Word to our culture. I'm wanting to re-quote most of the content. First; I can think of no punishment adequate for the sick soul that murdered Charlie Kirk. I wish Warren, Sanders and peers a "vaccine" injection a day.
