Is it any wonder that in a blue state like Massachusetts, where the legislature overwhelmingly passed and the governor signed into law a bill allowing the murder of full 9 month viable babies, a mother, Lindsey Clancy, who admittedly strangled her three young kids to death, one being a baby, would be acquitted of all charges and walk free.
I never thought I would see American society devolve to such a point as this.
Except she can’t walk. After strangling her kids with her exercise band, she jumped head first out a two story window and is paralyzed from the waist down.
Having clarified the “walk free” aspect, I agree with with you.
I remember when I was a kid my parents helped me open a passbook savings account. Kids from all walks of life love to see an account that has their name on it, a balance, and a mind to keep track of it to watch it grow. I loved making deposits, it made me set goals to save. There is nothing more anti socialism and anti communism than teaching a child the power of money and the independence it creates. In my opinion giving back 1000 dollars to a families child is a great incentivizing idea. It’s a slap in the face to the DSA and the democrat party. It keeps taxpayer money in the hands of Americas future. For all the money this country throws away this was sheer brilliance.
I understand Sen. John Kennedy enjoys a favorable opinion of many here. Afraid I cannot agree for several reasons. First, he was an ardent democrat until he wasn't. Then the fact he hails from Louisiana which given its mushy politics and New Orleans in particular is problematic. But worse of all, as mom used to say...you are known by who your friends are and he is a solid supporter of Sen. John Cornyn, the so-called conservative Republican who lost by 30% in the primary to a badly battered opponent, telling one and all what Texans think of him...Rino/uniparty through and through. One admittedly willing for the putrid socialist who has virtually quoted Trotsky opposing Paxton to win rather than supporting his party and Texas. A win that would bring Texas dangerously closer to purple status.
Not really surprising since purple is a color held dear by Rinos, Dinos and uniparty. In that environment they flourish, particularly when labeled moderate which allows them to feed on the scum on both sides of the pond. This odious breed ls shy of morals and political conviction, harbor merely a willingness to apply themselves to any position that profits them politically and or financially. Which would seem to describe the Sen. Cornyn of today, who is a friend and ally of Sen John Kennedy.

Have gone on forever about our idiotic gov importing west coast progressives by the boatlosd and now polls suggesting vote for Texas gov a tossup. What goes around.....
it seems many can be counted on to vote for any local tax increase, and if not, their first "helpful" suggestion is "isn't it time for Texas to have a state income tax"
