I have to admit today was a good day to daydream off onto your farm. The day to day pressures of living in this absurd blue state has really been getting to me lately. My state rep, Paul McMurtry, who I have called several times over the years votes against my wishes consistently. This vote is on the state forcing vaccinations on babies and kids, and teaching sexual content, like transgender, homosexuality and lesbianism to children as young as kindergarteners. It’s really a sick twisted perverse state here in Massachusetts. I’ve seen some of the disgusting content they put in front of these little kids, it’s content I don’t even want to look at. These people pushing this to me are child molesters, with the ultimate goal of allowing sex with minor children. I think this is their goal. Well thanks for the break from the insanity. The Massachusetts politicians and schools are so disgusting I have to apologize for them, they are disgraceful animals. This is the world we live in, makes me think of the second coming!

I think it’s time to go!!

James, make sure you sign up with MAHA Massachusetts and Health Rights Massachusetts. MAHA meets every other Tuesday online to discuss actions, learn more about alternative medicine etc. Both organizations will be at the statehouse to protest this most horrible bill. It is good not to feel entirely alone here.

I’m a physician here in Cambridge and am shocked and outraged about the bill. Our sons are grown and grandkids live out of the state. If that weren’t so we would be leaving.

Yes Jeff Kuhner organized the protest and those groups were on his show I believe. I can’t understand how evil these people, many I grew up with, have become. It’s crazy times to say the least. Honestly Dr. Filene, I think all of these issues, Ashley Biden’s diary, the Epstein lists, Sean Combs, Robert DiNero in France, etc. are all related. Even this child trafficking at the border and all these missing kids. They say America has the largest child sex trade in the entire world. With people like John Roberts as chief Justice you can see why!!

J.G. Please remember to step back and take a breath, the list of issues is huge, as it has always been. It truly is an art to be involved, and yet not become part of the problem by falling prey to the small picture of sh*t. Remember that your spirit, Love and goodwill is more powerful than the travesty we see. I only say this to you because I care...

Thank You DD. This issue with kids really really bugs me. They’re so vulnerable and the state has been perverted into taking advantage of them, I have a hard time with this one, I guess along with vaccinating them 70 times as well. I do have a problem!!

I do understand. This is a fine line to walk between absolute rage and knowing that rage isn't the answer either. Dannion B. has been sounding the alarm on child trafficking too. Steady focus, constant connection to the "greater good" and perseverance without hate is stronger than you might think. What you release in the ethers is more potent than you might think!

There are and have been a few subjects that get me overwhelmed. I feel like I’m drowning in evil, I can’t breath, people involved ignore what they are actually doing. They try to give this persona that they’re doing good but it’s not, it’s horrible, and they know it’s horrible. Others stand by and ignore it as though they can’t see what these people are doing, but they can see. They’re destroying these kids life and I’m helpless, I have to sit quiet, watch uselessly. I feel there’s no time to waste, they’re hurting them but I can’t stop it. You see my dilemma.

Oh James! What a sad state to live in! I just heard a "leader" comment on social media the other day that if parents didn't like what what being taught to their children in school, then they can just home school their child! Do they ever stop to think about the parents who MUST work and do not have that luxury? Especially the single mothers who need to work to provide for their children! If these people want to promote this sexual content to their children, they should do that at home and not force it on others! More "woke" crap!

The Biden administration did a great job of trying to normalize sexual perversion as well as pedophilia. That pretty much gave the "A-Okay" to all of the Blue states to get on-board with all of this sick behavior. They even tried to change the meaning of pedophilia to "minor-attracted person". What about the minor? They are typically not likewise attracted to the one pursuing them. They are prey.

Debra, after what Biden did to his own daughter how could they nominate him for president. It’s hard not to think we’re in the end times. They say it will get worse and worse.

James, if you want to find inspiration from a congressional rep throwing some righteous rhetorical elbows on these issues, there are some good videos of Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) mixing it up inside and outside the Capitol. Easy YouTube search; Strong language advisory.

I love Colorado, but also, as I've said we are in the same boat. It seems the Blue group work hard to infiltrate states after they have ruined others (aka, CA). We've really only dealt with this the last 10 yrs or so, but it just ruins my day to see this state going down hill. Like Oregon, the only truth is out in the country here, big cities are yuck!

LB I really feel for the kids they corrupt. For me I didn’t know which way was up until almost high school. Life today is complicated enough for young kids, they don’t need this confusion added to their life at such a young age. It’s 100% abuse!!

Totally agree. It is no wonder so many my kid's age are reluctant to add to the population. A neighbor and I were just commenting on passage of a bill here similar to others being passed statewide and inappropriate books being infiltrated into grade schools. Sinful is the most kind thing I can say. As I said to her, "we can't give up".

I understand what living in a blue state is about- now, after several years of hearing about child indoctrination, trans pro-nouns that have been shoved into the public’s faces, & of course, this horrible & disgusting children’s books that are nothing but sex between males!!! We, my Daughter & her husband, & myself, are so fed up with outsiders that move, or even make waves from other counties, have been dealing with a situation with “children’s books” that are not appropriate for elementary & middle school readers! Our district superintendent even took a poll from parents about specific books that should be removed from the library! A majority of parents’ were able to have those nasty books removed! The superintendent did remove the requested books. Then, two individuals decided to get legal counsel & have the books put back into the library! Super said “No way”! These two lone individuals just can’t understand this material is not appropriate for young students-period! One of these individuals lives outside our county & doesn’t have her children in our county schools! Home schooling could be next for my grand daughter’s!

It is the same slippery slope they are pushing us down that started [in my life] with same sex marriage. Nobody is really against any of this for adults. But they push it to get it normalized by the government...and then we all have to accept it. That is not they way individualism in a free society works. Do what you want....just not to your/our children or vulnerable adults. And don't make me support it by law.

The free choices and individualism is only one way....their way!

My solution - all of this, including heterosexual marriages, should not be sanctioned or a concern of the government....or any of the taxpayer subsidized institutions. The liberals are very aggressive in what they are pushing. Too aggressive for their own good. That's why they lose elections. This stuff they want to teach in schools may finally get school choice passed. A blessing in disguise for those wanting choices and individualism again...did we ever have it??

So sad James. In your fair state is a statue of my Puritan Grandfather who helped found Springfield, Massachusetts! I think he would turn over in his grave! He came with his family from England in 1635. I held my breath when they started all the statue removals!!! One of my grandparents moved to the fair state of Alabama along the way. So thankful to be in the South.

Amazing story Margaret. Springfield and some surrounding towns have had a series of illegals messing with kids. Many are arrested and released to go on and molest other children, it’s hard to acknowledge what’s going on here.

I surely hope this administration can stop the madness. When a state loses its original intent, there’s no stopping to the downward spiral! 1620 the Pilgrims led the way. 1635 my grandfather on my Dad’s side came with his sons. I find it interesting when looking at the genealogy that the names given to the following grandfathers (after Deacon Samuel) down to my brother have Biblical or Christian related names!

New York isn’t much better. Our governor has won the power to confine people in quarantine camps basically at will. Indefinitely, with no legal recourse until after confinement. Plus everything you’re talking about. The high schools in my city now are rated 2 on a scale of 1 to 10. And I thought it was bad when they were rated 3. I guess I can look forward to their hitting bottom.

These blue states are very sad places to live. It’s a helpless feeling when all you can do is call a committed communist to vote a certain way and you know he won’t. You should see this guy, Paul McMurtry, when I see him say at a restaurant, he walks like he’s a God. He thinks he’s royalty its sickening, he’s sickening. These disgraceful degenerate pigs, and he walks like he’s on a models runway. It’s unbelievable.

As I sit on my back deck this morning overlooking our woodlands and taking in all the sights and sounds of nature I joy in the miracle of the resurrection of another spring. The ramps are fully on display, the woods are beginning to green, the blood root is blossoming, wild ginger has emerged and the birds are heralding it all with their songs.

God once again provides the rebirth of the world for renewal and hope.

It's me, the Northern Maine homesteader.

Thanks for another great homesteading post.

I have been sharing your homesteading posts with my wonderful, sweet friend who is five months into recovery from 20 years of opioid addiction. He loves animals and is great with animals. Currently he has two pet mice, two pet squirrels and a puppy. Taking care of the animals is good for him, and that's why I'm encouraging his interest in getting baby chicks. The more critters he takes care of, the less he focuses on his own problems, I figure.

Love to you and Dr. Glasspool-Malone. If you ever find yourselves in the vicinity of Presque Isle, Maine, I would be pleased and honored to provide accommodations for the two of you here at my little off-grid homestead.
