Dr. Malone, thanks very much for putting all this information together in a clear concise manner. I try to stay informed about issues that could affect my health, mid 70s male with respiratory problems, and articles like this are very helpful. Your work is very much appreciated.

Interestingly, what I find most disturbing is reading about your former ACIP involvement. I know something will change in regard to this current state, but the unknown outcome is devastating. And this research is invaluable information and recommendation of change of the vaccine for the elderly.

I haven’t taken a flu shot for years…. Nowadays I have a supply of Theraflu tea and hydroxychloroquine at the ready… works fine for me and NO SHOT

If the data is not hidden, our new ability to crunch vast amounts of it should lead to a complete reset of vaccinology.

It would be interesting to survey allergists with regard to vaccine and booster uptake in themselves and their children, and see how many of them had quietly connected the dots.

Thank you Dr Malone for your insight into a multibillion-dollar industry. I had damage to my lungs from the Iraq war and UCLA pointed me to research done in Spain found in the British Jurnnal of Nutrition. Magnesium, Liposomal Vitamin C and Vitamin E did away with COPD and Emphysema. I used it and it worked.

Thank you for this article, very interesting about "host immunological factors" I don't plan on getting anymore flu shots (have not had one since 2018) but I am working on improving my immune system and considering taking Ovine or Beef Thymus supplements. Your paragraph "Thymic involution and naive T cell depletion" caught my attention. I have NHL Follicular Lymphoma (St. 1) Most who are first diagnosed with NHFL are in their mid-sixties as the article mentions, the age when the Thymus gland stops being as effective. At the time I also had chronic inflammation, metabolic syndrome problems, I believe exacerbated by allostatic overload I experienced as a long-term caregiver for spouse with advanced PD and dementias. My only symptom was an enlarged axillary lymph node which was removed and the malignancy discovered, subsequent PET scan showed activity "above and below' but none enlarged enough to treat. NHFL is considered "indolent" but easily can turn more aggressive. If I should begin to have symptoms, the current treatment is chemo and Immunotherapy. My oncologist told me the immunotherapies are getting so good, that in 2-3 years they will not be using chemo at all in the treatment of NHFL. I have been working, on my own, improving my immune system by maintaining an anti-inflammatory diet, good sleep quality, daily exercise, losing weight, stress management etc. Any info on Thymus supplements would be appreciated.
