Well written/researched perspective on MAHA/MAGA/etc...ever evolving. Very complex to navigate, as we can only imagine. Personally I believe Trump, RFK, etc...are doing a great job GIVEN the parameters they are forced to work with. The truthful insiders I used to know would tell me the unelected bureaucrats basically run every facet of our government, for the most part. Even the elected leaders do not always understand this. Trump/RFK, etc...have so many liars and traitors that work for them, but many of them are disguised as allies. It is always being undermined by inside and outside factors, oh what a tangled web we weave. Also, apparently RFK was not pushed out just after the 4th, as some inside beltway rumors were suggesting. Short story is we all know we have to take care of ourselves, while simultaneously working to prevent the bureaucrats from controlling more of our lives. I know many are disappointed in RFK and Trump, but remember, they cannot do much alone...they have to work within a system of liars...a den of thieves...what if Kamala and Walz had won? That is why I still smile today...we stopped them from being elected...for what if the elected leaders are in harmony with the unelected bureaucrats...then we know the devil (fascism) is at our door....we saw that just 18 months ago with Biden. Stay the course, and keep fighting...we are gaining ground, IMO.
Kennedy can’t win a national election. I doubt he could win in Massachusetts. MAHA needs a new leader to be the face of it now. Once glyphosate didn’t get banned he was finished. He got food dyes but even that isn’t effective until 2028? That should have taken effect in like 6 months as almost every food company has a separate recipe for those dyes if they are on the shelves in Europe. I was excited when he was tapped to lead HHS but the blob has won and not much will change. I agree, but, I think we will need to crash into depression a lot further before such things will be successful. We keep getting told that most countries only last about 200 to 250 years. But in reality those counties still are there. It is the government structure that collapses. England / Great Briton is still there though the empire is gone. China has had many collapses and different governments but they still recognize several thousand years of one society. Rome is gone but it still lies under its wreckage as a people and culture. I think we will be similar and our constitution as written is unique and enlightened and must be deloused and preserved.
I think it is a couple amendments that don't apply anymore that need to be removed, and a lot of supreme court decisions that are ready for the dust bin, along with a few SC Justices.

My personal reaction, as an advocate of maximizing all and any opportunities to make our population and ourselves healthier, is to identify and pursue each and every opportunity. I strongly suspect this is the best time we can anticipate. The future, to me, doesn't look very promising.
As for conservative candidates in 2028, we have Vance in training and so far he seems to be rising to the occasion very successfully. We also have Rubio, who is doing a stellar job. Some combination thereof strikes me as hearteningly viable. The only star quality addition that I see is DeSantis (if he divorces from his association with the Bushes).
How the midterms work out could have impact. Any evidence of a meaningful MAHA impact might offer the Secretary a meaningful supporting role.
I, personally don't identify anyone outside of Vance, Rubio and DeSantis as being a really viable candidate.
As for the current MAHA construct and its goals, one has to credit the points for concern that you've raised. For now, we might conclude they may still offer some benefit as we continue to pursue healthful goals. We need to continue to be aware of their utility for such objectives. As a cardio;ogist, he was asked about Lindsey Graham's heart problem, and he started outlining what happened, and also began to bring up the possibility that the spike protein from the jab may have been a contributor. The host started talking over him until they could get his feed shut off.

I am watching with great concern the war with Iran. It now seems to be going the same way most other wars have gone. a short war to solve a problem then oops, we get bogged down (bogs sound similar to swamps). Then the big players make big money. and the scope of the war escalates. A Thucydides Trap perhaps? I am watching with great concern the war with Iran. It now seems to be going the same way most other wars have gone. a short war to solve a problem then oops, we get bogged down (bogs sound similar to swamps). Then the big players make big money. and the scope of the war escalates. A Thucydides Trap perhaps? So, I see a similar thing where Kennedy has been stymied by the big money interests and we get to watch the pesticides, mRNA injections go on for longer.
That infestation has been allowed to fester for too long and has, thru its own devices and tentacles become a serious threat. The only criticism I have is not having followed thru and totally defusing the irgc
The farmers are not the bad guys here. They see their interests as being fundamentally threatened by the proscription of a ‘miracle’ weed killer. Perhaps the answer is in a laboratory, where a series of improvements in pesticide toxicity can be discovered and implemented. Might sound like an oxymoron, but that’s the challenge. We’ve walked on the moon.
With pesticides skating on liability protection, a laboratory solution of improvements (along with other toxic soups) may not happen. There’s no financial incentive to build a better, safer mousetrap/pesticide (any more than there is an incentive to create “better, safer” vaccines — another oxymoron in a liability free environment).
A bit of a Gordian knot, isn’t it, as the article implies. There is no financial incentive because MAHA resolve has been undercut by the political dimension which is corrupted by the lobby, what a mess! Come November, hoping Trump gets back to setting things straight and letting it be known that the Glyphosate days are numbered, thus addressing the valid concern you raise by monetizing incentive.
Of course it would be a mistake not to differentiate, where does the farmer end and BigAg begin? At the end of the day, Big is the problem, BigAg, BigGov, BigPharma.
