I added a video at the end of the article; it is worth watching.

Corrin Strong's avatar

That is seriously messed up! Apparently those organized anti-ice groups feel that they are the law now in the absence of any other authority and they can order regular citizens around, demand ID and tell them to leave the area! It looks like Minnesota is a failed state.

Dr. Robert W. Malone's avatar

That video is shocking.

Dee's avatar

What are they going to do when one they harass is armed with no qualms about defending their life?

Brandy's avatar

Yep, how did the 'protesters' know people in the car weren't armed. I carry mace in my car, drivers side door pocket and it is operational. I am not to the point of carrying a weapon, but I don't live in MN.

SashaSue's avatar

My thought too.

LB (Little Birdie)'s avatar

I'd guess the same thing they've been doing to ICE, which get's people killed.

It is sad, it is shocking and it is scary. My mind is trying to wrap around this, but I'm not exactly sure how it will and if it can, what to do.

Barbara Lekowicz's avatar

Yes! Exactly what Peter Schweitzer talks about in his new book The Invisible Coup!

Thomas A Braun RPh's avatar

The criminality of what has been transpiring in Minneapolis is being wall papered over with a message of caring. Minneapolis is no longer of Norwegian ancestry. Name should be called Bagdad and walled off and declared a foreign country. No foreign aid. Escalation is what they want. Time ICE takes a breather.

Sharon's avatar

these people will NOT go up against the Marines. i would stay home at that point, unless they were coming for our guns.

Larry Cox's avatar

To me this looks like a new tactic. The harassing groups are for the most part unarmed. Yet they are willing to block vehicles with other vehicles, and the more violent ones will attempt to beat up or intimidate their targets.

This is not full-on armed authoritarianism, but a "soft" form that looks a little like civil disobedience. This forces the federal agents (local police don't even want to be involved) into playing the role of armed goons. They are supposed to be federal agents executing legal court orders. This could get a lot worse.

It seems to me the way to go is to ferret out all the crime schemes being operated with the help of the various immigrant groups and get the criminal local politicians out of the way before going in to execute deportation orders.

LoverOfHills's avatar

Yes. That grey bearded guy in Doc M's added video, looked, moved, sounded, like a official organizer. He reminded me of the man who coaxed the public on J6. I forget his name. I think he was never charged too. ... Ray Epps. And the 4 DC cops who we just saw again at the recent hearing of Mr. Evil himself, Jack Smith. They all seem the same, like they are being led by someone above them. Cultish I suppose, is the common vibe too.

Sharon's avatar

If they are federal agents following court orders, then how are protestors permitted to block a federal court’s order with a car or in any other way? It’s like trying to block the Supreme Court Justices from entering the building where they work.

Doc you posted the video at the end and asked, "The video also provides evidence of the harassment that ICE officers and their families are enduring. Can you imagine getting followed by a car with four people in it - all wearing masks, who followed you for over an hour? How would you react?"

From my own experience over a period of years...

A known gang member lived next to my Mom's townhouse and one day there was a confrontation between said gangster and me. A few weeks later parties unknown tried to arson her townhouse. That was dealt with by, shall we say "other" means.

My wife, also the Police, was accosted outside a local grocery store. She was armed, created distance, drew her sidearm and asked this person, "What do you want?" Would be accoster ran away, leaving his car behind. Turns out he had been at this a while and was arrested. Picked the wrong woman that day.

I was "made" at a bar by a former arrestee. I managed to convince him I was not that guy and drove a forklift. Helps I really did drive a forklift. He bought it long enough for me to leave without confrontation. Sometimes you are not that lucky.

Multiple times of former arrestees showing up at my home, calling my Mom (she refused to unlist her land line), baseless complaints to flood the system as at work, a particular guy that was alleged to have violated his 4 year old daughter launching an online smear campaign against me and my agency and on and on.

A confrontation in the alley behind my house with multiple gang members. Where we lived at the time I had to do yard work armed. In this case I got tired of the drug dealing in the alley, the insanely loud rap music, vehicle traffic and flatly lost my shit. Bad Mark came out. I keep that bit leashed pretty tightly and for good reason. Miraculously all the illegal activity stopped. Must have been something I said, I guess.

I have been followed repeatedly and learned early on to vary my route and times. Try not to be predictable. You are most vulnerable coming and going from known locations.

So I can not only can imagine this crap I have lived it. How should you react?

If you need to panic, get it over with. Then calm begets calm. Stay calm.

Always be armed. Period. Live in condition yellow. Look up Jeff Cooper's color codes.

Gray man. Don't stand out. Don't draw attention. Stay out of major metro areas and potential trouble spots whenever possible.

Your car is a weapon. Keep it full of gas, gear and in good repair. I like full frame vehicles with steel bumpers.

Know your neighborhood and how to get around it. If you have to boogie roads are sort of suggestions.

If followed drive to a PD, Sheriff's Office, State Police barracks, military base, etc. 911 may not be an option if the PD is busy.

Stay in decent physical shape. You may have to run, fight and repeat to escape.

That is the short list and your circumstances may vary.

The only GOOD thing about the video is that the bad guys can't recognize their own and hopefully will start to eat each other.

The scale of this is an INSURRECTION. Period. Past time to go deal with it. If old crusty dudes like me decide we have had enough gonna get ugly fast. We'll do the business, restore order and then surrender ourselves for whatever punishment happens. My kids and eventual grandkids are not going to grow up in a communist, marxist, fill in the blank "ism" country if I and others like me can help it.

GREAT ADVICE AND MANY EXAMPLES!! Thank you 🥰🥰🙏🙏. This shouldn't be allowed in America. Perhaps the Constitution is BEING USED AGAINST US!

Tom Daniel's avatar

neli d ...With the exception of Hillsdale College in southern Michigan, the U.S. Constitution is NOT taught in public OR private schools or colleges, further, MANY "elected" members of the House - such as "AOC" (Absolutely Obnoxious Communist) and her co-conspirators - and Chuck You Schumer and his ilk in the Senate have never even READ the document they all SWEAR "UPHOLD."

You are spot-on about the "Constitution being used against us" - by federal "judges" - especially in Washington, DC ( Now the District of COMMUNISTS)' who were TRAINED via the American Academic system BEFORE becoming embedded in ALL 50 states. Unless these Black robed Bolsheviks are STRIPPED of their robes and DIS-BARRED from ANY legal authority - or proceedings, our Republic will continue to be disemboweled - from WITHIN!

Mark's avatar

The Constitution is always used against those sworn to uphold it and the people that believe in it.

Mike Gustine's avatar

VERY concerning to see that. I still have reservations about how this is being handled by ICE and the federal government, but as usual there is more to it than that. That video seems to show people who don't care about their fellow citizens and who seem to have taken the law into their own hands. Very disturbing. The possibility that this is more insurrection than protest has entered my mind before in the past couple of months as well.

neli d's avatar

We have a right for ILLEGAL INVADERS TO BE REMOVED FROM OUR COMMUNITIES! Wake up bleeding hearts!

Mike Gustine's avatar

ICE is doing their job. The local police, state police, are purposely, NOT doing their job. ICE needs help carrying out their job, they are not crowd controllers. Those that interfere with ICE need to be arrested, charged, put in jail.

This is exactly what Peter Schweitzer talks about n his new book “The Invisible Coup”. This book angers and scares the hell out of me! Our country is INDEED being subverted from within. I highly recommend this book but beware. You will be shocked!

Bruce Miller's avatar

Sorry to be crude but let's stop fucking around here and wake up. If you haven't read Pete Schweizer's explosive new book, the Invisible Coup, you need to. The Democrat Party is engaged in a treasonous conspiracy with malign foreign forces, to destabilize America through illegal migration. Any politician shrieking for a "sanctuary" is part of this. The entire charade is nothing less than a vast conspiracy to nullify United States immigration law in a challenge to national sovereignty not seen since the Civil Wat. If you love America - the America who gives us freedom, prosperity, and security - your blood will boil when you begin to understand what's going on. All our enemies are behind this movement. China, Russia, Iran. If you stand with Democrats you stand with traitors. People who are actively trying to destabilize our nation. To nullify our laws. People who make no secret of hating native born Americans and who want our destruction. This is an existential battle for the soul of our nation. Choose wisely.

SPOT-ON, Bruce! What is happening TODAY began in the 1960s era via American STUDENTS being spoon-fed Marxist BULLSHIT by Marxist teachers and professors.

Doesn't anyone recall (the) STUDENT uprisings in the 1960s, who NOW as "adults" INFEST the U.S. JUDICIAL system - in "lifetime" appointments by politicians - of BOTH parties.

In "medical" terms, an analogy can be made that MARXISM is more than just a mental virus - in reality a form of (political) CANCER that spreads WITHIN and eventually KILLS the HOST body - in the case of America, The "Fragile Experiment With Freedom" Ben Franklin spoke of in Philadelphia in 1787.

pretty-red, old guy's avatar

yep, I recall Tom. Back in 1970 I recall trying to attend my Chem 102 Class as a freshman engineering student at the U of Illinois in Champaign. As they harranged me and others walking up the wide steps to Chem Annex I pushed past them to attend. [anti-war activists] I was really pissed.

For some reason I have never forgotten that short incident sponsored by the a__ holes from the SDS-- Students for a Democratic Society. Most likely ALL from outside the U of Illinois.

Bruce Miller's avatar

If you can keep it,,,,,,

Barbara Lekowicz's avatar

I just read this book! I am so ANGRY!!

Larry Cox's avatar

The problem with this way of telling the story is that what it amounts to is a propaganda narrative stoking violence. Not all propaganda is false! But how do we go about dismantling a criminal organization that is supported by both outside actors and treasonous groups within our borders? If we choose to fire on them, all they will do is fire back.

Bruce Miller's avatar

It may yet come to that. But it would not end well for them.

Corrin Strong's avatar

I don’t see how this ends without the activation of the Insurrection act and a major show of force into Minneapolis. But of course that’s what they want!

Bruce Miller's avatar

And what about the rest of us? Who love America and would die for her. What do we want?

Kim's avatar

I keep thinking the American people are the bagholders.

Bruce Miller's avatar

As someone observed, despite the insurrection in MN, most Americans continue to go about their daily lives without interruption or change and so remain indifferent and unaware. Until, of course, they wake up one morning to an America they never knew. At which point it will be too late.

neli d's avatar

Yep, Americans so dumb downed so selfish, they just go along. DISGUSTING SHEEPLES!

Kim's avatar

I’m not so sure. I think a lot of people all over the country think America of the past is no more. The Constitution outlines how things are supposed to work and protect us, but Congress is owned by corporate “lobbyists” (the term implies PR campaigns rather than dictated orders) and the Judicial branch looks captured as well. And look at Trump sandwiched between Musk and Palantir. Yes, to me, MN looks like insurrection - but when entry to homes, warrantless searches take place, it looks like opposite sides of the same coin. FIFTY years ago, I had a boss ask me if I knew what the term, "WOP” meant. (I did not) He said it referred to Italian immigrants who arrived en masse “without papers”. So to me, precedent has been set by decades of practice. And now, claiming overnight that everyone here who is not a citizen is an illegal set for forcible removal, seems like it is nullifying history without proper preparation. Popular opinion is really important and this entangles many more than just a few new minority immigrants. I fear the intent here on both sides is the elimination of that pesky Constitution. I pray the nation will be kept intact with its Constitution in place and some things, like Trump’s closing the borders might be a good first step - but it also could be a step to fence us in so we can be catalogued.

Bruce Miller's avatar

Stop buying into bullshit and propaganda. Nobody is "claiming overnight that everyone here who is not a citizen is an illegal set for forcible removal." Open your eyes. Trump is enforcing the immigration laws that OUR Congress enacted. Democrats are trying to nullify them. Ask yourself why? Did anyone weep when Clinton, Bush and Obama deported millions of illegals? No they did not. This is an orchestrated campaign to destabilize America by importing third world savages. And by repeating their lies, you are joining their conspiracy.

Randall Stoehr's avatar

Now.....whatcha gonna do when they come for U?

Larry Cox's avatar

I do sympathize with your outrage. It is not OK to enter this country by evading legal channels, and the implication in such a case is that such entries have criminal intent.

While Kim argues that Trump's people are helping to create a violent situation, it is obvious to me that the "other side" is much more intent on causing violence. In some sense, the fact that good people just trying to do their jobs and stay alive are caught in the crossfire of this war makes this look like a very negative situation. But if it weren't for the violence from the opposition groups, the legal handling could proceed in a much more peaceful manner.

Cecil Morse's avatar

Thank you, Bruce, for replying to that "useful idiot". Saved me from doing so.

neli d's avatar

YEP, I wish these bleeding hearts would WAKE UP!

Kim's avatar

I agree with most of what you are saying - but when you have people in government proclaiming anybody entering the country without authorization is by definition, a criminal subject to deportation, it reverses decades of how the country actually operated. If the objective is to remove people here illegally while keeping the country in tact, you need to make sure things are set in place so popular opinion will be aligned. Right now, it’s looking more like an orchestrated conflict.

glissmeister's avatar

That's exactly the object of the exercise I think. Foment violence and unrest to force Trump's hand so Democrats have what they likely believe is a winning issue: fascist Trump dictator declares military occupation and martial law as the perfect Big Lie to run on. When you're engaged in politics conducted as an ongoing criminal enterprise injury to innocents is a feature, not a bug, as no lie is too big to tell.

The elephant in the room is rumored to be a potential felony murder charge linking the Governor's office and Lt Governor to the dead dood who holstered up and concealed carried to a provided location where he was apparently to engage in harassment, perhaps obstruction and perhaps some form of physical conflict with sworn officers of ICE. It seemed like he was pretending to be a camera man to get close and stay close before physically engaging. How incredibly stupid to conceal carry into those circumstances.

If the LtGov or Walz are linked to the directives that put the dood there, they can apparently be indicted. But what is even more interesting is the depth and scope of organization, planning, preparation and premeditation that has become generally apparent. The Walz administration appears to be deeply organized and funded with networked resources to direct and serve the Governor's political agenda and apparent love of criminal mischief and mendacity.

There may be another elephant in the shadows. If this is the true scope and nature of the Governor's political organization, what then of Walz's assistant and fixer who apparently claims he was ordered to murder a State Senator and Senate leader (and her husband in their home) for refusing to vote the Walz party line as apparently demanded of them, resulting in the failure of Walz to secure passage of key state legislation of great interest to him.

If these riots are native to the culture and operations of Walz and his administration, then theories of his potential complicity in the murder of the Senator does not seem entirely unreasonable. I genuinely wonder if the Capone Organization or Tammany Hall were as criminally promiscuous as the Walz administration appears they may be.

Time will tell.

We have a limited range of legal tools to deal with a situation that has festered so long unattended. Like an infected leg that has been taken over by gangrene, it may be necessary to cut it off in order to save the body. I would really prefer, though, that we find a way to heal the leg.

LB (Little Birdie)'s avatar

Gonna be hard, hard and triple hard. Once the gangrene sets in, it's already migrated to hide in other parts. My BIL's leg was amputated for exactly that. Within a month, they were after the other leg. He's gone now.

I think we're dealing with the same country wide. I'm picking up whiffs of it here in the Denver area.

Larry Cox's avatar

I had no idea my metaphor would hit anyone so close! Your extension of that metaphor may be quite accurate. I do think someone needs to be working on a strategy of healing (and I think some are), but they can't be the least naive about it. There are some bad guys that are very resistant to change, and we cannot afford to continue to play along with them.

Jackelyn S Myers's avatar

Who. What. Where. When. WHY.

All important questions but the WHY is the most important to understand in this situation.

To allow non-citizens to have such influence in our political realm is to destroy our republic. In the past, people who immigrated to this country did so because they wanted to become Americans. The goal of the vast majority of the immigrants in Minnesota seems to be theft.

If we continue to allow non-citizens to be counted for political representation we will soon lose all of our special American rights and freedoms.

Corrin Strong's avatar

There is a bill reintroduced into the Senate last year that would accomplish that by removing illegals from the census for purposes of congressional representation and the electoral college. Why can’t we get this passed?

Barbara Williamson's avatar

How much will it cost to investigate each and every census form in order to eliminate all the millions of illegal ones? Because you know illegals will be lying on their forms. More money out the window. If we didn’t allow them IN, we wouldn’t have to do that, would we? Just one example of how we are constantly leaking funds to combat this invasion. Add to that the expense of checking all the sign up forms for federal and state aid and the cost of having multi-lingual teachers in all the schools to accommodate illegal children from all over the world. See how it adds up? And these are just a couple of examples of our money is illegally drained from us.

Corrin Strong's avatar

it wouldn’t solve all the problems, but it would be a good first step. It would help clean up a lot of the problems in blue cities in red states. The people in blue states can be expected to continue to resist.

MJ's avatar

Easy. They used to be called "supercomputers" but are now part of AI. Damn fast. Unbelievably fast. Use optic readers to scan in any signatures or writing etc. The IRS is clued into them, you'd better believe. Now, to get someone to do it and feed in the data and stop setting up roadblocks. I'm assuming the NSA knows how, if they are clean yet....

Larry Cox's avatar

This is a good point. But I don't believe the situation warrants condemning all Somalis, or any other group of immigrants, legal or illegal. These scams are being carried out by many different groups across the country.

Demonization of our American systems and institutions as "the man" has been going on since the early 1900s, per Wikipedia: "The phrase "the Man" originated in the United States around 1918, referring to figures of authority, often in a derogatory sense. It has been used to describe oppression and encourage resistance against authority figures, particularly in counterculture movements."

We have over ONE HUNDRED years of a culture of "gaming the system." Many people think this is the only way they can get their "fair share" of the pie. This is a criminal attitude which has become VERY widespread. I would guess that there are sizable portions of our population that don't even know how to stay alive using legal (non-criminal) means. It will take a huge effort to fully clean up.

I never heard of Waltz until the Dems picked him to be potential VP. But since then he’s been everywhere — and more importantly Minnesota. The Somali fraud brings more attention.

Now we have ICE.

So we have an organization known as “ICE” In Minnesota— one of the coldest places in America — and ironically, kills two people; while a winter storm hits the nation.

Then the two people killed were: “Pretti, Good.”

The thing I find at the center of every “sanctuary” state or city is Who Voted for this? I have yet to find evidence of any state or local election that the people ever consented to this. I have to believe that if this ever came to an election in many of these sanctuary entities it would fail. For the life of me no majority would vote for having you tax money go to funding illegal aliens so they could live equally or in some cases better than citizens. Even in the bluest of states there would be enough “centrists” that would be against this. Which means this is nothing but a made up political ploy the Dems want. It also means they know about the fraud and abuse of tax payer funds. That also leads me to believe these people are illegally voting and the money stolen with this fraud is finding its way into the pockets of these sanctuary states and cities leaders. Recall how loudly they howled when DOGE went into USAID. We thought that was the biggest of their fraud. Turns out it’s everywhere and they have their system rigged to stay in power while we the people get screwed. It’s not just Dems either people. It’s going both ways. This just happens to be at the forefront right now.

I hope this results - with some at least - in sober reflection. How much criminality have we in fact allowed into our land?

I am almost to the point of surprise - if not disbelief - that I made it through life without doing anything majorly illegal. But I, too, have ended up poor and "on the dole" (Social Security and Affordable Housing).

From my perspective as a retiree, I can see how little help we provide each other to live honest, decent and productive lives. Popular culture for years has denigrated "work" and made fun of good people. This cultural trend has only accelerated. It is a whole situation that needs to be handled. It is a criminal mindset that must be weeded out and replaced.

Paula Mitchell's avatar

All common sense thinkers and doers know this is an insurrection. I personally, as a tax payer am tired of seeing this continue. This isn't protesting it's rioting plain as day. I pay taxes to be protected from this sort of "war game" the Democrats are waging against our country, our Republic. Our government, our people need to take seriously what is happening here and cut it off at the head immediately before it's to late. Trump won the election but, the Democrats are winning the war. I feel like I'm witnessing the fall of our great country and it's sickening...

Once again I see and hear people that were my clients (hair) and others I know, being totally engaged and immersed in the protesting and being trained to follow, harass and report, and they feel proud about taking a stand against ICE. The mindset that is encouraged creates hatred and violence is just around the corner. If any legal action can be done, it will be awkward, lengthy, costly and full of compromised judiciary. The fog is thick here as Minnesotans pride themselves as being weather tough. The sheep are being led to slaughter while bleeting FREEDOM.

But that's part of the strangeness of all this. Though (in the case of Minneapolis) there are some Somalis involved in the protests, they are mostly the more "educated" few who are now involved in politics. The anti-ICE "protests" seem to be led mostly by non-immigrant citizens. It has not been a matter of the immigrant communities themselves standing up to protect themselves. The loudest voices are from citizen groups who seem to have some reason to want to protect these immigrants from being arrested and deported.

Micheal Nash, Ph. D.'s avatar

Maybe they do not want to lose the, representation in the House those so-called immigrants provided them in 2020 by being, deported.

As an Army veteran, in the Infantry, the tactics being used in Minnesota are highly coordinated with a command structure, training and recruiting apparatus, and specific orders to seek, find, and disrupt, those they are targeting. (We were trained in ReCon.) The Green Beret officer is correct in his assessment! This is home grown terrorism and in my opinion, a coordinated effort to destroy our Republic, that is spreading across our nation.

I suspect that those involved are in the highest offices in Minnesota, but I also believe that these type of coordinated tactics are above their pay grade, and orchestrated by professionals behind the scenes, who are trained in military tactics and subversion.

Yes, they are now culpable for murder charges, but the evidence cannot be circumstantial, so hopefully, the FBI has infiltrated the network and collected evidence that will put them in prison for years.

IMO, sanctuary cities need to be outlawed across our nation, because they harbor criminals who harm our citizens, and Congress needs to pass the law YESTERDAY! This my friends is a national security threat.

No wonder the Democrats want to stop funding DHS! Their anti-American organization is being revealed.

Senior Moments's avatar

This is beyond going too far. People are being stirred up to what can only be described as insanity levels of hatred by organized groups and their own gov. and getting killed as a result. I cannot imagine having a job like those ICE agents and border patrol officers. They are doing their job, enforcing our immigration laws, and having to confront histrionic mobs on a daily basis. When does the insurrection act kick in?

M Makous's avatar

The video reminds me of tactics used by gangs in third world countries to extort bribes from random innocent drivers. Count this as another 'benefit' we enjoy when we -- to be correct, the Biden administration -- allow the import of massive numbers of non-assimilated illegal aliens.

Perhaps normal Minnesotans will be able to see the real picture and turn against their corrupt politicians, and the mess created by 'sanctuary city' policies.

Chriss Hammerschmidt's avatar

Do we write our Congressional members and demand an inquiry? Action?

VictorDianne Watson's avatar

I tend to believe Eric Schwalm’s take on this whole movement. The fact that foreign agents are funding it is even more alarming. The fact that the leading government officials are involved makes my blood boil. Additionally, they are encouraging ordinary citizens to put their lives on the line to fight ICE agents who are trying to get criminals off the street. I totally agree with the meme that they are trying to focus attention off of the enormous fraud that is occurring in Minnesota. Send in large numbers of national guards to protect the ICE agents. Stop the insurrection!
