There but for the grace of God go we.

Well explained! RNC and the DNC better get their heads together and stop the march to martial law which will be the only way to control the US society when the far left achieves their goals!

I am on a local social media site and I was reading about people who were saying they moved to my state from places like NY, CA, and MN. I was then thinking about the upcoming election, so I had to make the comment: "When you vote, don't vote for the same stuff you left". People need to realize that their vote matters. I am encouraging my sons to vote early, as soon as they can, because sometimes they have to work overtime or work out of town. From what I am reading the liberals may be pulling ahead, but I hope that is just propaganda. Pray for our country and vote!

We voted today and it was a mob. A mostly rural/small town precinct. They told us. over 1000 voted Mon., some 900 on Tues. and will likely hit those numbers today. Lots of enthusiam.

Don't let poll results determine whether you will vote. The polls are sometimes fake. Wedgewood Poll turned out to be fake, always giving Democrats a boost. And the media believes them.

Really sad to see, my ex-wife and I traveled to Paris and London several times and really enjoyed both. Paris is permanently off my travel list until a more conservative government is in charge, and the muslim problem is solved.

London is still on, although my new wife's favorite is Barcelona, but now it seems to be headed France's way.

Maybe we should just travel the US, there's plenty to see here, and we speak the language...

Living in France (and having run a business here for years), I now think the problem is insolvable. How many times have I said to myself «  the government will NEVER do that! and then they just do it anyway (35 hour work week for ex). If you were to see the new budget proposals for 2027 (France is in serious financial difficulty) you would not believe your eyes. All the « cuts » are removing tax breaks or creating new taxes (the French Technocrat is VERY good at that) They would never even imagine that they should cut government spending. I don’t know one politician who is a real statesman who really wants to save the country. All they try to do is keep their job, get a cushy, useless job in some commission, et get promoted up like to a very cushy EU job. With these riots, (and more to come) the right-wing party is most likely to take power, but I honestly don’t know if they’ll get anything done. The only difference between them and the socialists is immigration. Their economic policies are as ignorant as all the other French politicians. None of them has a clue as to how an economy works. Thankfully my children have USA passports and that’s where they are going. C’est la vie en France!

Time for you to come to the US also.

Too late for me. I am now retired and have payed so much into the retirement and health system (which as far as $$ go is not great but health workers are generally very good) So I’m kind of stuck here.

Please tell your children when they arrive to education themselves on a Constitutional Republic. If they try to emulate their former home of France, they will just be voting Democrat and create the exact situation they ran from.

All true, and all could be anticipated decades ago. We in Ukraine have a real fight to win. And after that ... the EU and its onerous regulations. Thank goodness we have Poland, Hungary, Romania and the Baltics between us and the Germans and French.

"But importing workers is not the same as creating prosperity. Immigration can strengthen an economy when newcomers possess needed skills, fund productive employment, and contribute more than they consume in public resources. When immigration outpaces job creation, housing construction, education, and integration, the costs do not disappear. They are transferred to taxpayers, communities, and already strained public services."

This is a key statement that shows the problem of unvetted millions of illegals crossing our borders or borders of other countries. Why is it so difficult to understand?

I'm certain most politicians understand, but have chosen to believe the taxpayer will continue to subsidize such actions without question.

Yet another awesome piece. Hope all of your commentary on national/international affairs goes into a book or books one day. So excited your work on sustainable agriculture already has.

Regressivism. The politicians have lost touch with the basics.

David Poe's avatar

It's inconceivable that France could not stop the riots if they really wanted to.

Macron is a ‘poof’ and is controlled by the WEF/Davos and probably monies from Persian Gulf monarchies like Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

David Poe's avatar

Sounds likely.

I often comment on different substacks about the misuse of the label "Liberal". I am a liberal, which just means that I am for individual freedom, such as free speech. I am also a very logical pragmatic person, which combined with my liberalism makes me a libertarian, which the media with its left-right nonsense would call far right. It is human nature that as a bureaucracy grows it loose touch with it's original mission and the people it is supposed to serve and becomes self serving only for the benefits of those on the inside.

You've done a good job of pointing out how bad things have become in much of Europe, hopefully people in the US learn from this and we can start shrinking our government.

Micheal Nash, Ph. D.'s avatar

Just wrote an argument for term limits. Our Founders did not establish a governing platform for professional politicians and neither should we.

Swabbie Robbie's avatar

If we have 2 terms for a President why shouldn't it also apply to congress critters and Senators. And, all bureaucrats should serve at the pleasure of the elected official they work under. Someone who wants to be a professional politician should start at the local town level and get elected on their way up the ladder with term limits in place until the Peter Principle means they have arrived at the level of their incompetence.

You mileage may vary.

Tom Potts's avatar

You sir seem to be a “Classical Liberal” like our founding fathers and many people today.

Bob Brown's avatar

Yes - I think there are a lot of us.

This is what Carney wants to draw Canada closer to.

Tom Potts's avatar

Carney was the banker for the World Economic Forum /Davos where he was instrumental in shoving the global warming scam and illegal alien invasions of Europe. He did it in the UK before that.

All of western Europe has committed cultural suicide. There are now approximately 50-million unassimilated Muslims in Western Europe & many of the Muslim men are preying on European women. According to Canadian Journalist & substack author, Elizabeth Nickson, between 2015-2015, 5-million European women have been raped, largely by this segment of the population. Sweden has been especially negatively impacted by the migrant Muslim population, including rapes. They have so many "no-go" zones there & have had so many bombings in recent years, that it is hard to tally them all. Peter Imanuelsen, a Swedish journalist has frequently reported on this situation. He has his own substack called, "PeterSweden". The "Powers That Be" in Europe have deliberately foisted this incompatible population on the Europeans. What they have allowed to happen to Europe is truly unforgivable. Worse, is that there is no desire to reverse this trend.

The Rape Gang Inquiry Report was released in the UK a few months ago.

Englishmen need millions of firearms to defend their families. The British royals need to be deposed and deported to Dubai.

Debra Nolasco's avatar

This has been going on for decades in the UK. Until very recently, I received a daily substack from "The Conservative Woman" who frequently reported on this travesty by the migrant Pakistani men. Thousands of young girls & young women have been raped by these men. The UK government has turned a blind eye to all of it & those who complain are called racists.

Well-said, per usual.

Notice please that in all the Drano countries the police have switched sides. Can’t happen here? Anyone remember Uvalde?

The French know how to live with invaders better than any other country in the West. They have a lot of experience since the start of the 2nd Millennium.

The last war the French won was the Crimean War.

How much attention is paid to the notion that those 2 world wars depleted the best of the, breeding stock in the most affected European nations and that they are being run by the dregs? That has to count for something.
