Lefties don't age well. The stuff on the inside shows more and more on the outside.

Sandy's avatar

Kind of like a reverse of Dorian Grey…somewhere there is an idealized portrait of Neil Young (maybe with Hillary), looking better than he ever did.

weedom1's avatar

yaaaaaaa. What an thought! And it makes me imagine the portraits of the Obamas.

Martin A. Allen's avatar

I love it outstanding humor and Young knowledge!

GMoody's avatar

Had I known Neil would become an old nasty POS 30 years ago, I wouldn’t have fallen in love dancing on the patio with a full moon rising to the simple love song Harvest Moon. My husband was a huge fan of Neil Young and apparently a fan of mine also. I still love that song.

James Lord's avatar

It is hard not to like those two songs.

Neil Young should catch up and realize he's irrelevant and, the fact that he's a Canadian, he should worry more about violations against peoples' rights in his home country. I stopped listening to any of his music when he revealed his true self during the Covid Dark Ages. I now turn the channel when his songs come on. That goes for Joni Mitchell as well.

Frank Whiten's avatar

I still listen to them. They both make good music; they just need to shut up their political commentary. I learned that long ago when I was hoodwinked into burning my Beatles’ LPs because John Lennon made a statement that offended a lot of people. I’ve learned to mostly think for myself since then.

Patricia's avatar

I always liked CSNY, & also have a few albums, & enjoyed their music, & I also made my mind up as well that their political statements don’t mean “Jack” to me- but, I don’t enjoy tunes from artist’s that make such horrendous statements. We all make choices, & that is mine.

Swabbie Robbie's avatar

Ditto on both of them

Bruce Miller's avatar

Greendale? What a fool. A cat being castrated would not be as awful sounding.

Dr Linda's avatar

Same. I felt a little naive & tremendously betrayed.

Paula Mitchell's avatar

I don't listen to fools!

My time is far to valuable to waste it on them, same with commie Jane Fonda

Patricia's avatar

Oh, I also stopped listening to Neil,,,umm, who? His album sits in a container in my garage, collecting dust- as he seems to be quite dusty these past few years!

Swabbie Robbie's avatar

Send Canadian hypocrite Neil Young back to Canada where he can sing about rocking freedom in Canada.

As Ronnie VanZant of Lynyrd Skynrd wrote in Sweet home, Alabama:

Well, I heard Mr. Young sing about her (a Southern man)

Well, I heard ol' Neil put her down

Well, I hope Neil Young will remember

A Southern man don't need him around, anyhow

LB (Little Birdie)'s avatar

Ya'll got it down!!! From a Texas born, Oklahoma raised, tho city bred S*** kicker.

LB (Little Birdie)'s avatar

Heck, yeh, ya'll. Even tho I've lived in CO for over 40 years now, it's like riding a bicycle. It all just comes flowing back in.

Plus, I just started watching the latest season of Landman, so that's a refresher course!!

Alan Davis (FlyoverAlinCT)'s avatar

He tried to organize a We Are the World concert to benefit the starving in Somalia.

Africa called and said, “We aren’t that hungry”.

And out of respect for Skynyrd, I can’t call the DC blob my first preference: “The Swampers”.

Stephen Waters's avatar

Probably the best Malone News Sunday Strip ever!

D D's avatar

There have been So many , how do you rate them? (just curious, not argumentative...)

Stephen Waters's avatar

It's actually simple. I've never laughed as much reading a Malone Sunday Strip, and I'm still laughing!

I have enjoyed Neil Youngs music and career since the early 70's. As he put it, he'd rather drive in the ditch vs keep on the road. He is a master of free publicity though controversy! This Note's For You is an example from the early 90's. Dissing on artists that allowed their music to be licensed for commercial purposes. He fell out with Trump years ago because Trump declined to invest in his PONO HD music player platform. PONO failed after being rolled out. Follow the money and you will find NYs true motivation.

Patricia's avatar

That is interesting to know, thank you!

Tom Potts's avatar

I guess Neil young didn’t listen to his own song….. “The needle and the damage done’’

He gave hisself a stupid shot.

Great batch of humor indeed! Love the Dead Voting stories. So true. And let's check those ID's...How many dogs are voting in Virginia?

Great Dr. Malone memes too! Love it all! Great job.

Sandy's avatar

Only the dogs who got their voting rights restored! I mean, they have SOME standards, right?

Dr Linda's avatar

Jill has a hand in these posts as well. I think Sunday has become more reverent since Jill started writing more. I very much enjoy her input.

These are wonderful; thank you for the laugh and sharing this a.m. One must keep a light heart during these heavy times. Here's a lil history for ya; https://www.theepochtimes.com/opinion/the-house-is-restless-it-has-been-before-6110497?ea_src=frontpage&ea_med=section-2. I hope everyone on here knows about Epoch Times, and their purpose for being here now. Its a gift to our Nation, and it comes from China. Its important to know that there is a good source of information that is available during these times.

Norma Odiaga's avatar

Long time subscriber if Epoch Times, both digital and paper. My husband has a flip phone. He reads the paper edition. Great stuff.

MrsMc's avatar

me too, I love the paper version,.. wish I still had my flip phone

Well it doesn’t actually come from China…the guys who started it were escapees from China, and freedom lovers. Brave souls.

And thanks for the link. Salina Zito is always a very perceptive communist.

The 500 million Eurotrash one really spoke to me. Leftists are such retards.

Dianne Stoess's avatar

I LOVE that you're making your own memes now! I hate to say it, but our political system is a mess! The Constitution is practically moot and we're on the verge of losing it altogether, on the verge of having it replaced it with "the new". I am sorely tempted to spoil my ballot! Won't know whether I'll actually do it until I'm in the voting booth, but I probably will. The Constitution allows for the people to overthrow a corrupt government, dangerous to do so, but I see it as the only option we have left, and we can't do it with our little guns. We must use our smarts and collectively unite, but I think that's only a pipe dream. Most humans simply haven't evolved enough, or have the courage to get it, that collectively we have the power to establish our autonomy. It is my belief that neither so-called "party" can stop what is happening. There just aren't enough of us willing to sacrifice enough (perhaps our very lives) to pull it off.

Martin Rossol's avatar

Instead of Tylenol, why not check out Jeff Childers- Coffee & Covid -if you need a positive perspective! (But I do get where you are coming from.)

The Obummer sh**ter photo is great! Just printed it out and put it on the refrigerator door! Thanks Drs. Malone!!!

Everyone should be asking inconvenient questions—it frustrates the Left and Democrats, but I’m being redundant.

An 18 year old and I were having a mature conversation. He lamented that 1/3 of his generation has been killed by abortion, and he can’t understand why women believe staying at home and bringing up children is a bad thing—not that they can’t work outside of the home.

I told him that feminism from the 60’s has destroyed the home by infecting the minds of millions of women by teaching them to hate men. Choosing a good moral man and woman is more difficult now than ever—IMO.

I pointed out to him that politicians and business owners wanting “immigrants” to fill American jobs, because we don’t have enough American workers, is an unadulterated lie.

Abortion killed over 65 million unborn Americans, and if they were alive and procreated American children, there would be NO reason for the amount of “immigration” we now have. We would NOT have the current invasion of illegal foreign nationals, and contrary to the lies of the Democratic Party, Americans would be building our houses and cutting our lawns, just like they always have.

The invasion destroyed hundred of thousands of American businesses and jobs, by undercutting bids at slave labor prices. Trump is reversing this BUT…

The Root Cause is the rejection of God’s standard within our nation. Get this turned around, and the problems will be solved within one generation…AND…Islam will be identified as a major political system designed for world dominance, and antithetical to America and Freedom.

SR Miller's avatar

CQL, I think you’re missing the motivations: democrats have always had an innate need to be above someone. They were willing to scuttle the nascent USA over slavery, they fought a civil war to maintain their superior position above the enslaved, they gave us the KKK, segregation/separate but equal?, Cherokee trail of tears, Japanese internment/incarceration, …

Even if we hadn’t killed 65M babies/Americans and continue to kill 40% of American black babies, they would still push for unlimited immigration to have someone fill that "lower than" caste. We had a chance, just like the Germans after WWII, to eliminate democrats and the democrat virus, we didn’t. Now in their stupidity and ignorance they’re once again willing to cast USA asunder just for their own power.

steve wondel's avatar

Meanwhile I have a stack of Niel Young vinyl and CD's I'll sell cheap!

Oh, and John Mellencamp, and Bruce Springsteen too!

I still have, and will continue to keep, the first three albums from The Dixie Chicks - but nothing there after. Talk about falling off a cliff
