At the turn of the twentieth century Rev. J.H.Boetcker lectured around the United States using these sentiments. Ronald Regan once used some of these in a speech attributing it to Lincoln but it was The Reverend Boetcker’s.

I find it incredible how erroneous and deceptive this DSA/Democrat communist movement is as they push the exact opposite theories onto an America that was built on these ten principles.

* You cannot bring prosperity by discouraging thrift.
* You cannot help small men by tearing down big men.
* You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
* You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer.
* You cannot help the poor man by destroying the rich.
* You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than your income.
* You cannot further brotherhood of men by inciting class hatred.
* You cannot establish security on borrowed money.
* You cannot build character and courage by taking away man's initiative and independence.
* You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.

All of these principles were once taught to children by their parents. They are staples in an “independent”’free society. The democrats are selling the young the exact opposite of every one of these solid American principles. They are selling “dependence”, communism.

what you describe is common sence, and we were thaught this by parents, and to a part still, in school. But that time seems to be long gone. I suppose our generation, now close to 70 or over, was the last to learn this. I see even people my age and older who have no sense of how to use their money. It is so sad, to know someone is living paycheck to paycheck, and see them drive to the Walmart every day, 25 miles single, to buy a bag of chips, and on the way pick up a coffee or a coke and some fast food.

Worse of course, the millions of illegals, living in luxury hotels, getting 2000 bucks a month, a free cell phone and free health care, and seeing people who do their best to get by, having to pay taxes and getting nothing of this.

Times like this is when talk of 3 rd party arises. Folks who do so must assume a lot more understanding of the mind set of independents than I claim. I know they appear to number maybe 1/3 of the voters but.... What are their convictions? Do they have any or simply vote on any issue du jure? Any "conservative" 3 rd party sure as the devil will not draw from dems so will have to depend on culling the bulk of independents and I do not see that happening. As I have said before, conservatives need to rebuild the republican party and expunge all the rinos and uniparty in the process.

I lived in Europe for 40 years, there are multiple parties there. Look how it goes in Germany, Belgium, Netherlands. I think we got to get rid of ALL big govt. all they do is supper up tax money. Stop the tax. Let politicians be volunteers. After all they are only 'in sessien' for what? 3 months? See how many show up.

They constructed a 3rd party in England I believe, and it split the conservative vote. The socialists won year after year. I honestly think we need strong candidates with courage and convictions that do what they promise to do. This I think would set into motion years, decades, of prosperity. Once one person gets up on the dance floor more will follow.

As in PA, you can only vote in primary for a candidate for the party you’re registered, therefore, independents can’t even vote; they have made themselves useful idiots.

Scrolling down the Sunday Strip reading the memes I stopped at the Irish accent one. I didn't scroll completely to read the statement at the bottom of it. The answer is yes, it got me and yes, backwards, it really sounds like an Irish accent of the same expression. Hahahahaha I love it.

The first one reminded me of a saying we kids had when someone choked or coughed excessively: "Puke it up, the cats will eat it".

Ha!

Thriving-ish says a lot. Halfway through the year getting to 70 things started cropping up. The memory thing isn't as bothersome as deteriorating joints. The muscle memory of doing things certain ways and at a certain pace is still getting diluted. I used to be able to stand up on one leg from a crouched position, now I need both legs and something to push or pull up on. Hhahahahaha.

I wish I could laugh, laughing is healthy but I'm so disappointed. We had a wonderful opportunity to make our country prosperous again and now the Democrats are going to take us backwards. Elon Musk has done much for our country and the Dems want to destroy him, many others who have done much are also in the Dems crosshairs. My dad, God rest his soul, used to rant about things happening in the world and I never realized how smart and right he was. One of his favorite rants was about foreign influence and propaganda, I never got to involved with the Internet because I could see yes it offers some good benefits but, I realized how greed can cause good people to do bad. We are in trouble I'm not a quitter and I'm competitive but can my fellow reader help with some ideas for keeping our country going in a prosperous direction?

I can only imagine the fact that a wonderful and mindful transfer of an emotional like energy,

Takes it's shape and when dust settles and commotion dies down to less than a crickets,

Real knowledge shared as the rarest of rare fills the room and each new thought confirmed.

Wish I'd been there to witness. Jeffery has a way to build a guest list like no other.

Wallismz.
