There’s a horrible case going on now in Massachusetts, of a mother who confessed to killing her 3 kids. I honestly have not had the stomach to follow this case much but it’s hard not to see what’s happened here. There are times when I just can’t allow in certain story’s of such horrific evil.
The mother, Lindsay Clancy, had been prescribed over 32 psychotic drugs over the past 3 months and was on 10 the day she committed the murders. These were the scrips she received over the 3 months, in order; Sertraline, Lorazepam, Hydroxyzine, Lorazepam, Buspirone, Trazodone, Fluoxetine, Zolpidem, Mirtazapine, Clonazepan, Quetiapine, Diazepam, Diazepam, Quetiapine, Diazepam, Diazepam, Lamotrigine, Diazepam, Quetiapine, Quetiapine, Quetiapine, Tradizone, Lorazepam, Diazepam, Trazodone, Lorazepam, Diazepam, Diazepam, Amitriptylene, Diazepam and Diazepam. We need more of this.

That is sick and unfathomable. Just some caregiver observations: 12 year caregiver for husband, there are only a few of these meds that I am not familiar with. I think they keep giving the Diazepam (Valium) because it can work, but it is addictive and if taken for a week or so the person who is on it really needs to ween off, they cant just stop taking it. I have anecdotal experience with Lorazepam vs Diazepam given for muscle relaxer. My husband was give Lorazepam to deal with a severe muscle cramp (he had PD and at this time he was mentally doing quite well). Within hours of taking the Lorazepam he began to have horrid hallucinations, which included me finding him walking down the hall with a handgun on the way outside (probably not loaded, I wasn't sure) so I had to get it out of his hand from behind using many sweet gentle words. The Lorazepam also made the pain agonizingly worse, he moaned and groaned - not his personality. This was over a weekend. He refused to go to ER, Monday a.m. Dr. ordered Diazepam, we had stopped the Lorazepam. Dr. said "it sometimes happens". I put Lorazepam on the list of his medication allergies, and tell everyone I know to not take it. The Diazepam worked and got him through the muscle cramp quickly. I think anybody taking any of these meds should not have access to firearms or anything dangerous in the house. The other med I will never allow in my presence is one they give in the hospital - Dilaudid. It seems to be the first thing they give in ER. Made my husband go berserk, the nurses said it was PD Hallucinations (it was not at the time) They finally gave him another type of Morphine, they said "regular morphine" but I didn't get clarification. I have heard others report this reaction to Dilaudid particularly in people on other meds and in the elderly.. My mom was in ER recently for a broken wrist and the same thing, the Dilaudid was administered and she began having major anxiety, fear, not recognizing family - never before like this, not her personality, I convinced the ER Dr to not give her any more. My siblings were upset with me for telling the Dr. what to do. I said "I've seen this before,.. I'm sure this Dr has seen this before too" Then he agreed. They used oxy for pain after that. it worked.
one more My husband eventually did develop PD hallucinations. His Dr. A PD specialist at UT Southwestern - Began giving him the tiniest dose of Quetiapine and titrating up - about 6 months started getting better and then after a year of slowly titrating up, the hallucinations finally stopped, he kept taking the same amount and kept the PD hallucinations at bay from age 66 until age 77 when he died. (the last year he began a little) Nurses, some Drs will tell you an elderly person should not take Quetiapine, but he did quite well on it - maybe because of the careful way it was first administered. Sorry for all this personal info, I hope it might help somebody at some point. The goal is never have to take any thing.

Sixty years ago my best friend's wife after the birth of her 4th child in four years used a 45 to end her life. She loved her babies, but decided in my view that she would harm them and blame them for her severe post partum depression. She only had one way to prevent it. Sometimes, the PPD mother takes the life of her child rather than her self. Our medicine man is convinced sedating the brain is the answer rather than correcting the nutrient deficiencies caused by giving birth to so many babies in a short period of time that depletes the mother's store of nutrients required to keep her whole. Returning courses of nutrition to the medical colleges may reverse the problem. Less than 1 in 5 give a token nod to teaching about how nutrition is key to good health. Big Pharma likes it that way. I miss her dearly as a good friend. One of the reasons I keep writing about the deficiencies in our medical world bias views about achieving good health.
Oh Thomas I’m so sorry. The local Amish midwives here have some sort of herb concoction that every mother gets after delivery. And they are supposed to have two weeks of total rest. Friends, family or “a maid” are hired to come do all the mother’s work. PPD is unheard of here. Not one in the 20 years I’ve been helping out. But then they know all about nutrition and have a very healthy skepticism of medical doctors. Something we’ve forgotten.
It's all about lifestyle. Somewhere near Boiling Springs, PA, I was a guest taken to a Amish restaurant which was housed in a sturdy brick building which still had the Indian shutters on the windows. The desert was chocolate cake with simple ingredients like my Mother used to make. The food was superb! Never fully appreciated my mother's labor in life when the household was one female and 4 men.

We had to threaten her pcp to take her off of one of them. Within three weeks she was our sweet and funny mother again.
You have to really be careful with elderly. Most Rx’s are dosed for healthy 180# males not 100# females whose kidneys aren’t functioning at full capacity.

My Mom hated to take even so much as an aspirin for a headache. She always said "the headache came by itself, it can go away by itself". She was right!
My impression of doctors (and NPs and PAs) these days is that they're so busy they don't have time to actually care about or even get to know their patients. Last time I visited my primary, I spent most of the time filling out a questionnaire that asked about the things the primary should have addressed! I guess they review it later...? And later, days after the appointment, I had to remind her that she said she was going to order some blood tests. Finding a provider who actually seems to care, and is interested in finding answers, is nearly impossible anymore!
The doctor(s) in your story should be investigated. Really, though, they need to investigate the system that led to this! Because it has invaded every medical office in the country. "First, do no harm" has literally turned into "throw pills at it and hope it goes away"!
I was an RN for 45 years and so much of this happened when the hospitals bought out the MD’s practices around 2008. Then they all became employees of the hospital and had to do things the corporate way. If the hospital corporation said that you had to see a patient every 15 minutes you had to make that a practice. Ruined medicine. No community hospitals.
I work for 27 doctors and NP's in three states and they look up the drugs in the national database for abusers of pain meds but they do not do enough in my opinion to check for interactions.
Interestingly, throwing pills at psychiatric/mental health problems stops once a person is admitted to a nursing home—or is it just Illinois? Here our nursing home can be tagged for abuse if we don’t cut back on a nursing home resident’s psychotropic med or at least try to, even if the person has been on the med for 40 years! It’s really a punishment for being in a nursing home if you ask me—if the same person was living in their own private home, no one comes knocking on their door to say “you have to cut your dose in half!”
And, how many of the docs & nurses have any education on titering down off these meds? Simply cutting meds out or down can indeed become like "punishment", as patients can be going thru withdrawals & exhibit newer, more extreme symptoms! I pray I do my dying at home.. without any meds (other than any absolutely necessary pain killers.. but only if absolutely necessary!).

Had she been thrown out of the window, she would have told them that. It would have been part of the case by now if it were true, even if only as part of the record. Also, you do realize they could also easily have pinged the husband's phone to see where he was, had she indeed told them he threw me out of the window. She's admitted she jumped. I'd be more interested in who found her, etc. Stick to the known facts; suppositions aren't helpful interjections.

Personal experience with this.. HCV diagnosis back in 2017 after decades of intestinal & "stomach" issues & trusting all the "specialists" who couldn't figure it out. Probably picked up "virus" from work, but who knows? Wasn't from street use of anything (always feel the need to explain this). Medications used to destroy "virus" really did a number on my brain! I was like Biden in demeanor for four years at least! Thought I had permanent dementia-like state. Docs I consulted couldn't figure it out, so no help there. After "rebooting" my brain with an antidepressant, brain did get better. Still, after all these years later, I am aware that I don't think or function quite like I used to pre-HCV protocol. Energy's not the same in both brain & body. Something got altered, for sure! Am following eating extremely well & not taking any drugs unless absolutely, positively necessary, of which most don't meet those standards. Herbal remedies have been awesome! Not sure what else I could have done, given that diagnosis, but it sure would have helped if my concerns weren't shrugged off continually by the "professionals"!

My brain is overstuffed with Fauci diary, Israel vs Palestine, White coat evil, Media delinquency, etc. So, today I choose the two in a row, lighter nostalgic funnies - the Good Ole Days and Grannys yarn.
I am the proud owner of at least 2 of my grandmas broomstick crochet afghans (no, these are not effigies) as well as several quilts. Objects and lessons handed down.
I have also, recently, had the pleasure and the pain of going thru mom's house with my sister. To say the Malones and Mom had 'like' characteristics is on point. Mom could knit/crochet (she took sweaters from Goodwill apart and recreated from scratch), sew (often made her own patterns), darn, needlepoint, quilt (not machine, by hand), cross stitch. She didn't like cooking or much to do with kitchen, but she always had a meal ready. All housewife 'duties' she did with honor.
She grew up as a doctors daughter, so she wasn't raised with animals, but she did a fair amount of nursing. She loved decorating, wanting to go to NY to study. Her dad gave her choice - nurse, secretary, home maker.
So homemaker, mother, wife she became and gave her all (and talents) to her family. She was a dynamo, a fair and consistent mother, a friend. I still have a mohair red sweater that hung past my knees when she created it.
One of the hardest and more distressing parts of this journey to disassemble, while honoring, a life is to come across all (and I don't mean 1 or 2) projects mom was still working on at 95.
That being said, I could not ask for a better, more long lasting legacy than the memories of her teaching thru out my life, as well as the actual products of those teaching I still have to cherish.

You were & are truly blessed to have had such a mom! But, you already know that! My mother did some of those things later in her years once not raising children, but she did make all of our school clothes (until we had money enough to afford store-bought attire) plus all of our doll clothes. She did a remarkable job & I don't think it occurred to me to say "thank you" until it was too late. Hopefully, she knows, somehow!
That looks like me. I put a lot of seeds and plants out and see what makes it out of the ground. We always have some volunteers from the year before. Mainly watermelon, tomatoes and cantaloupe.

I, at age 24, and my then girlfriend, looked into abortion of my son. Fortunately, she was 2 months pregnant, so back then, that was a big NO.

My husband was give Lorazepam to deal with a severe muscle cramp (he had PD and at this time he was mentally doing quite well). Within hours of taking the Lorazepam he began to have horrid hallucinations, which included me finding him walking down the hall with a handgun on the way outside (probably not loaded, I wasn't sure) so I had to get it out of his hand from behind using many sweet gentle words. The Lorazepam also made the pain agonizingly worse, he moaned and groaned - not his personality. This was over a weekend. He refused to go to ER, Monday a.m. Dr. ordered Diazepam, we had stopped the Lorazepam. Dr. said "it sometimes happens". I put Lorazepam on the list of his medication allergies, and tell everyone I know to not take it. The Diazepam worked and got him through the muscle cramp quickly. I think anybody taking any of these meds should not have access to firearms or anything dangerous in the house. The other med I will never allow in my presence is one they give in the hospital - Dilaudid. It seems to be the first thing they give in ER. Made my husband go berserk, the nurses said it was PD Hallucinations (it was not at the time) They finally gave him another type of Morphine, they said "regular morphine" but I didn't get clarification. I have heard others report this reaction to Dilaudid particularly in people on other meds and in the elderly.. My mom was in ER recently for a broken wrist and the same thing, the Dilaudid was administered and she began having major anxiety, fear, not recognizing family - never before like this, not her personality, I convinced the ER Dr to not give her any more. My siblings were upset with me for telling the Dr. what to do. I said "I've seen this before,.. I'm sure this Dr has seen this before too" Then he agreed. They used oxy for pain after that. it worked.
one more My husband eventually did develop PD hallucinations. His Dr. A PD specialist at UT Southwestern - Began giving him the tiniest dose of Quetiapine and titrating up - about 6 months started getting better and then after a year of slowly titrating up, the hallucinations finally stopped, he kept taking the same amount and kept the PD hallucinations at bay from age 66 until age 77 when he died. (the last year he began a little) Nurses, some Drs will tell you an elderly person should not take Quetiapine, but he did quite well on it - maybe because of the careful way it was first administered. Sorry for all this personal info, I hope it might help somebody at some point. The goal is never have to take any thing.

You know medicine has gone off the rails if you find yourself feeling anxious at the doctors office and pharmacy and calm at the local witch doctor who hands you a bunch of herb he picked out of the local forest and you are 99% better in a week. (Note: you don’t take the dr’s drugs.) that’s the state of our “science”. Also, my actual experience.
Sixty years ago my best friend's wife after the birth of her 4th child in four years used a 45 to end her life. She loved her babies, but decided in my view that she would harm them and blame them for her severe post partum depression. She only had one way to prevent it. Sometimes, the PPD mother takes the life of her child rather than her self. Our medicine man is convinced sedating the brain is the answer rather than correcting the nutrient deficiencies caused by giving birth to so many babies in a short period of time that depletes the mother's store of nutrients required to keep her whole. Returning courses of nutrition to the medical colleges may reverse the problem. Less than 1 in 5 give a token nod to teaching about how nutrition is key to good health. Big Pharma likes it that way. I miss her dearly as a good friend. One of the reasons I keep writing about the deficiencies in our medical world bias views about achieving good health.
Oh Thomas I’m so sorry. The local Amish midwives here have some sort of herb concoction that every mother gets after delivery. And they are supposed to have two weeks of total rest. Friends, family or “a maid” are hired to come do all the mother’s work. PPD is unheard of here. Not one in the 20 years I’ve been helping out. But then they know all about nutrition and have a very healthy skepticism of medical doctors. Something we’ve forgotten.
It's all about lifestyle. Somewhere near Boiling Springs, PA, I was a guest taken to a Amish restaurant which was housed in a sturdy brick building which still had the Indian shutters on the windows. The desert was chocolate cake with simple ingredients like my Mother used to make. The food was superb! Never fully appreciated my mother's labor in life when the household was one female and 4 men.
It is disgusting that drugs are overlooked in heinous crimes all of the time. My sister and I saw our Mom turn into a paranoid creepy lady. We got her drug list from her assisted living facility and plugged them all into drugs.com. she was experiencing a rare side effect of two drugs taken together. We had to threaten her pcp to take her off of one of them. Within three weeks she was our sweet and funny mother again.
You have to really be careful with elderly. Most Rx’s are dosed for healthy 180# males not 100# females whose kidneys aren’t functioning at full capacity.
Yes, you would think that the doctor in charge would have looked the interactions up before prescribing. But instead, My Mom was lucky we were paying attention.

Both husband and wife have filed lawsuits against the doctors.
That makes perfect sense since antidepressants (& probably other medications) tend to sideline libido! This depletes an otherwise healthy marriage, so effects both partners.

My Mom hated to take even so much as an aspirin for a headache. She always said "the headache came by itself, it can go away by itself". She was right!
My impression of doctors (and NPs and PAs) these days is that they're so busy they don't have time to actually care about or even get to know their patients. Last time I visited my primary, I spent most of the time filling out a questionnaire that asked about the things the primary should have addressed! I guess they review it later...? And later, days after the appointment, I had to remind her that she said she was going to order some blood tests. Finding a provider who actually seems to care, and is interested in finding answers, is nearly impossible anymore!
The doctor(s) in your story should be investigated. Really, though, they need to investigate the system that led to this! Because it has invaded every medical office in the country. "First, do no harm" has literally turned into "throw pills at it and hope it goes away"!
I was an RN for 45 years and so much of this happened when the hospitals bought out the MD’s practices around 2008. Then they all became employees of the hospital and had to do things the corporate way. If the hospital corporation said that you had to see a patient every 15 minutes you had to make that a practice. Ruined medicine. No community hospitals.
I work for 27 doctors and NP's in three states and they look up the drugs in the national database for abusers of pain meds but they do not do enough in my opinion to check for interactions.
My pharmacist ( Maddie) could have been a chemist ! Our HMO is lucky to have her!
Interestingly, throwing pills at psychiatric/mental health problems stops once a person is admitted to a nursing home—or is it just Illinois? Here our nursing home can be tagged for abuse if we don’t cut back on a nursing home resident’s psychotropic med or at least try to, even if the person has been on the med for 40 years! It’s really a punishment for being in a nursing home if you ask me—if the same person was living in their own private home, no one comes knocking on their door to say “you have to cut your dose in half!”
And, how many of the docs & nurses have any education on titering down off these meds? Simply cutting meds out or down can indeed become like "punishment", as patients can be going thru withdrawals & exhibit newer, more extreme symptoms! I pray I do my dying at home.. without any meds (other than any absolutely necessary pain killers.. but only if absolutely necessary!).

Had she been thrown out of the window, she would have told them that. It would have been part of the case by now if it were true, even if only as part of the record. Also, you do realize they could also easily have pinged the husband's phone to see where he was, had she indeed told them he threw me out of the window. She's admitted she jumped. I'd be more interested in who found her, etc. Stick to the known facts; suppositions aren't helpful interjections.

When will people wake up and realize that drugs and vaccines have substances in them that break down the glands in the mind that control the ability to even think? They wipe out logic, analyzation, memory, emotional development, body functions, motor skills, etc. Medical doctors who prescribe drugs and vaccines are given selling points by drug and vaccine reps, which never mention the disastrous side effects of these extremely damaging products. People need to read the information that is given them, when they take prescribed drugs listing the side effects and ingredients. Perhaps, if they did any research to check the information, they would not be so eager to use them. Most drugs and vaccines have multiple side effects that break down the human mind and the body. America has gone from. #1 in World health to 47th Place. It was at the top in Math and and Science, too - and now college graduates can't read or write. It is business at usual; no questions asked. Those who want Medicare are supporting the biggest Drug and Vaccine Dealership in America.
Personal experience with this.. HCV diagnosis back in 2017 after decades of intestinal & "stomach" issues & trusting all the "specialists" who couldn't figure it out. Probably picked up "virus" from work, but who knows? Wasn't from street use of anything (always feel the need to explain this). Medications used to destroy "virus" really did a number on my brain! I was like Biden in demeanor for four years at least! Thought I had permanent dementia-like state. Docs I consulted couldn't figure it out, so no help there. After "rebooting" my brain with an antidepressant, brain did get better. Still, after all these years later, I am aware that I don't think or function quite like I used to pre-HCV protocol. Energy's not the same in both brain & body. Something got altered, for sure! Am following eating extremely well & not taking any drugs unless absolutely, positively necessary, of which most don't meet those standards. Herbal remedies have been awesome! Not sure what else I could have done, given that diagnosis, but it sure would have helped if my concerns weren't shrugged off continually by the "professionals"!
Dr Russell Blaylock's newsletter recommended Solgar's B-Complex 50 or 100, over 20 years ago for the brain. I tried Solgars B-Complex 100 and it made me feel very zen, feet on the ground. My memory improved on it, too. I was 72 at the time...and I am now 92...and can honestly say that my mind works better today than when I was in my thirties. Today, I am 105 pounds and have far more energy than sixty years ago. .
I read somewhere that SSRI’s can blunt your empathy. So you don’t feel others pain. One reason that you could commit murder without thinking that it was a problem.

Just started looking at an IG post called retro layers. Hilarious. Shows how we all had the same shag carpet, the same junk drawer with the same junk, little colored sea shell soaps in a dish in the bathroom which no one used. Ashtrays in every room.
The merry go round was always on gravel or cement in the playground. I loved those things but my knees were always permanently skinned up. I was a bandaid addict and would just pick out a couple of colorful ones to put on when I came home. My wounds were probably 1/2 healed by then.
Loved the merry-go-rounds.. & monkey bars as well as uneven bars! All on gravel or cement! Gave us strong arm muscles since we knew what could otherwise happen! Great core muscles, too!

My brain is overstuffed with Fauci diary, Israel vs Palestine, White coat evil, Media delinquency, etc. So, today I choose the two in a row, lighter nostalgic funnies - the Good Ole Days and Grannys yarn.
I am the proud owner of at least 2 of my grandmas broomstick crochet afghans (no, these are not effigies) as well as several quilts. Objects and lessons handed down.
I have also, recently, had the pleasure and the pain of going thru mom's house with my sister. To say the Malones and Mom had 'like' characteristics is on point. Mom could knit/crochet (she took sweaters from Goodwill apart and recreated from scratch), sew (often made her own patterns), darn, needlepoint, quilt (not machine, by hand), cross stitch. She didn't like cooking or much to do with kitchen, but she always had a meal ready. All housewife 'duties' she did with honor.
She grew up as a doctors daughter, so she wasn't raised with animals, but she did a fair amount of nursing. She loved decorating, wanting to go to NY to study. Her dad gave her choice - nurse, secretary, home maker.
So homemaker, mother, wife she became and gave her all (and talents) to her family. She was a dynamo, a fair and consistent mother, a friend. I still have a mohair red sweater that hung past my knees when she created it.
One of the hardest and more distressing parts of this journey to disassemble, while honoring, a life is to come across all (and I don't mean 1 or 2) projects mom was still working on at 95.
That being said, I could not ask for a better, more long lasting legacy than the memories of her teaching thru out my life, as well as the actual products of those teaching I still have to cherish.
Good Ole Days, indeed. Love you, my sweet, smart, hardworking mom!!
You were & are truly blessed to have had such a mom! But, you already know that! My mother did some of those things later in her years once not raising children, but she did make all of our school clothes (until we had money enough to afford store-bought attire) plus all of our doll clothes. She did a remarkable job & I don't think it occurred to me to say "thank you" until it was too late. Hopefully, she knows, somehow!
