I listened to you on Joe Rogan. It was a great show. I was a bit worried about you as I heard you wheezing. Hope you are ok. Always very supportive of all you are doing for us!
02/15/26: Same here --- hoping you’re feeling better, Dr. Malone.
LOVED the Guthrie “OMG!” joke.
If you thought it was bad to have ONE Nancy Grace [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nancy_Grace] in America, isn’t it wonderful now that we have a thousand “journalists” auditioning around the clock to become the next N.G.?
NBC News CEO: “Our ratings are spectacular! Starting in June, everyone’s mother on the Today Show will be kidnapped, one by one, once a month. The ransom demands will be scaled according to corporate rank.”
NBC Brownnoser: “Wonderful! You’re on fire today, sir!”
NBC CEO: “Thank you, but I can’t take credit for the idea. Matt Lauer phoned it in. He also said that it was a shame we bulldozed his office, what a great story it would have been to have discovered our kidnapped mom all trussed up under his old desk, next to the button that silently locked his office door.”

My doctor has had me using a combo of Thyme/Oregano/Clove oil in capsule for gut health. I think I overdid as it created some acid reflux issues. But, with that said, Thyme has demonstrated significant antimicrobial properties, particularly due to its active compound thymol, which can inhibit the growth of various bacteria and fungi. Secretory IgA plays a crucial role in the immune system by providing mucosal immunity, helping to protect against infections, including those that thyme's antimicrobial properties may target.
Mechanism of Action:
Thymol disrupts microbial cell membranes, leading to cell death. It also exhibits anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which can enhance its effectiveness in managing infections.
Good to know; we started drinking Thyme tea during Covid. Put all your dried leaf/ flower in the coffee pot and run hot water. Best way to have tea, no plastic involved
THYME? Kind of like chewing tobacco, just a pinch between your cheek and your gums, or under your tongue. I like to sprinkle a bunch on my toast in the morning, with some ginger also and honey. The benefits are just Phenomenal in my opinion. Oh, yeah! A week or so ago I began to place a pinch of salt in my instant coffee mix, just a small one, and the flavor that it brings out is another surprise. I used to do this as a teenager, and I learned it from an old nurse anesthetist, who was my aunt.
Thanks for the tip. Ordered some thyme capsules today to replace the oregano oil I had been taking.
A little OT, but I ran this idea through Alter AI to see what it had to say about it. Got what felt like some good info. If you're looking for an AI that doesn't seem like it was designed by lefties you might want to give this a try. Just sayin'. No connection or affiliation.
That's a Border Collie -- it will eat anything and still run all day! I've written this before, but the joke in my agility class is that one of my friends always said her Border Collies were couch potatos inside the house, to which I would reply that that is only because they chase around and herd goats around all day!! Diet, schmiet -- they don't stop unless they're made to stop!
I just ate 4 mozzarella cheese sticks, I thought they tasted like real food, but maybe I should have only ate the cheese inside the breading! This eating real food is going to be tough on me. 😂
LOL! I never heard of cheese sticks with breading. For me (a cheesemaker), it's the cheese that makes the snack. I wouldn't want to ruin it with frying!
Frozen cheese sticks are processed with breading and you just throw them in the air fryer at 350 for 6 minutes. Dip in marinara sauce and they’re a nice snack.
"processed" being key word. You'll get there. Try string cheese. You can bite them off in pieces, or methodically peel slim "strings" off and eat them. A healthier choice 😉
Hey Doc, great job on Rogan. 2-1/2 hrs! Whew! Keep up the great work! Seems we are finally getting a little thaw here in the NE. Spring is coming? Setting up my little greenhouse and seeds are here getting started! Cheers!
Love your Sunday Strip, Dr. Malone. Loved the border collie. What a dog. Amazing. The you tube video was right on. Why are there so many ignorant people out there in America????? They would follow the Dems to hell if so called Dems told them to.
Love that pup 💖💖 Yes, eating real food is, in the middle of menopause!, how I'm losing weight. If I can do it, I think anyone can. I do still cheat, though, but not a lot. Collectivism can go collect dust, somewhere. Please don't get me wrong, I am a social worker and I have been given many, many hands up. I fully believe in a hand up. I also believe in gratitude, so when I'm getting a hand up, I turn around and either give back or pull somebody else up. In handouts, there's entitlement. IMO, that's the main difference between a hand up and a hand out. Another difference is responsibility and accountability versus expectations of others. I hope everybody had a nice Valentine's Day 💖
Read the labels! Anytime the ingredients mentioned is natural flavors. It is nothing natural since it is food chemistry and it’s a $30 billion a year business or more.
Whenever I see "natural" anything, I'm suspicious. I've asked local vendors what they mean by "naturally raised", for example, and they hem and haw and eventually come out with, "well, you know, it comes out of the ground" or "on pasture". Then I ask about pest control (plants) or organic vs non-organic grains, or no grains at all (for livestock) and the whole "natural" thing usually breaks down right away.
Tell me again why organic has to be certified but conventional, or even "natural" doesn't have any standards? (Rhetorical question--we all know the answer.)
I have never seen such constant wall to wall coverage of anything like what is going on with the Guthrie kidnapping. It just goes repetitively on and on and on when there is not a single new thing to report, and endless speculation from pundits. It has eclipsed all other news reporting. Anything else going on in the world?? Iran? Ukraine? Russia? China? I'm wondering why this is happening. Fox is just as bad as the MSM networks. Every single show is dominated or exclusively devoted to reporting of the Guthrie disappearance , same thing, over and over, for a solid 2 weeks now. If this happened to an unknown person's mother, there would be no coverage and we all know it. At this point I find it extremely odd.
Ratings indicate women are tuning into the nonstop Guthrie story. Guess who advertisers want to most reach? Female consumers who control the household budget. I read that women have empathy with the family thinking how they would feel if their own mother was taken in this manner.
Ransom notes to media without direct contact to the family, without proof of life leads me to believe she’s possibly passed away. I understood the first few days of the wall to wall coverage because it was an unusual kidnapping of the mother of a famous person. The over saturation of the story is now viewed by many as a circus. I hope they find her alive and well, but it’s not likely as time goes by.
I was a hyperactive child waaaay back in the late '50s. early '60s when it was considered a 'condition'. My pediatrician described me as being, 'like a racehorse' to my folks and said that wasn't really a bad thing (this was before it was treated with medication). Now that I've got a whole lotta decades in, been all over and done a whole lot, I'm more like this, but as long as I get my afternoon nap, I'm not cranky.

Organic ground THYME, for all your respiratory needs. Gotta try it.

How do you take it? In a favorite dish?

I add a tiny pinch of sea salt to my hot chocolate.
Salt in coffee is an amazing addition. Each can customize the amount. Salt is an amazing flavor enhancer for anything.
You can make tea by pouring boiling water over one tsp, let steep covered for 10-15 minutes and strain. Very good for mucusy coughs.

Oh too only have a fraction of the energy and endurance of that pup! Loving the "eat real food" campaign. It's a simple yet valuable message.
That dog is kind of like Trump. He couldn’t wait to start and he’s jumping over hurdles left and right. I don’t know where he gets his energy either.

can buy packages of plain mozza sticks also, good snacking
I loved the Trump”not elected to be nice”! I just hope he continues to be “not nice” for the rest of his term!
With a slight tone down in the months leading up to the midterms…our base is waffling.
Trump's weakness has always been his ability to engage mouth before brain.
Took a while but finally got the Dion joke.
Me too!
Kind of a "Dad Joke"....
Ole McDonald gets his day!!
Thanks for the tip; I needed the help...
The dog video proved beyond any reasonable doubt, the dog is smarter than a democrat sheep 🤣
Absolutely agree!

Love, Love, Love, thy Funnies Dr. Malone. Thank you for another week of laughter and insights of the weekly hysterics.
Loved the dog, real food, and the Joe Rogan hours. Loved it. Truth really seems to be happening

One thing I meant to add regarding your Rogan appearance is that you literally are reverse aging! You look fantastic.
Thank you. Jill takes very good care of me.
And takes great care of herself! She's also in the reverse aging stage!
Keep up your horse habit!!
Speaking of eating Real Food. RFKJ is going to be on 60 Minutes tonight!
Loved the Dog segment. I like most Dogs better than I like most people. If I have to explain, you wouldn't understand.
The more I know about people, the better I like my dog.
