My friend, the “father” of Jake, the boy Jake that “identifies” as trans, and helped me work a couple days last winter, had a stroke on Friday. He’s a really good friend of mine, has a wife and three kids who he supports. He seems to be doing ok, but I’ve been praying for him. About 10 months ago he told me he had taken his 3rd Covid shot.

I also owe an apology to Senator John Fetterman. The first time I ever heard the Senator speak was at the debate with Dr. Oz. I didn’t know him at all and prematurely judged him. I caught him on Laura Trumps Fox show last night. I would never have expected him to be the voice of reason coming from the democrat party. He appears to be a man from a democrat party of days that have long since past. With his non violent demeanor, his hate free attitude, and a assassination free approach to politics, it is not only refreshing, honestly it makes me wonder what anchors him to stay in this modern Democrat party. I misjudged him and for that I am sorry.

This brings me to the subject of Grace. Grace is a concept referring to divine favor, assistance, or mercy that is freely and undeservedly given. It is often understood as a gift from God to help individuals achieve spiritual goals, find salvation, and become closer to the divine. The democrats who promote this hatred, division and violence are completely devoid of Grace, I believe because they have no faith and no intention to seek it. I pray that one day soon they may find salvation and some Grace.

In many circumstances Justice is desperately needed. When I see demonstrators holding signs no justice no peace, Justice never seems to satisfy their thirst and inevitably this turns into violence. It doesn’t always take a man to fight to resolve conflict, sometimes it takes a man to reach out his hand. This I think is what is lacking today. I can only hope that the people promoting this violence will see the error of their ways and find some Grace before it is too late. I will pray for you everyday and if I do wrong I will ask for your forgiveness. Let’s all hope civility and common sense will prevail. We must try to be prisoners of hope not fear.

For it is by grace that you have been saved. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8.

Happy Sunday

Yes, it’s good to have a very left of center voice of reason; but keep in mind: he never should have been elected in the first place -,once he was incapacitated by that devastating stroke he should have bowed out (if he was a voice of reason) since there was no reason to expect improvement. Had he bowed out then that seat would have gone to Oz, a Republican. Fetterman still is a Democrat, caucuses with democrats, votes as a left of center Democrat save for a couple notable exceptions - and those votes don’t really matter do they since there aren’t enough additional votes agreeing with him.

Don’t be fooled by democrat shenanigans . For democrats, what’s good for the Democrat party is more important than what’s good for America: they’d rather have two vegetables in high office (White House and Senate) than functioning, sane, rational leaders.

He’s voted 13 times to fund the government. He’s against this violence the democrats promote so strongly. He’s against men in women’s sports. He’s for closing the border. He’s pro Israel. Fetterman is still a left of center democrat - while I give him props for that/those stands (and they are needed from someone with a ‘d’ before his name) in the totality of what’s going they don’t matter cause they don’t move the dial.

He is still a loyal democrat, his past behavior proves that and no matter how many kudos I toss his way when push comes to shove that’s how he will perform.

Remember, a stopped clock is correct 2x/day, the rest of the time, the majority of the time, it’s wrong.

Fetterman is a politically weak senator and is expendable by the Democrat politburo - by letting Fetterman take this stance opposing the Democrat politiburo they’re probably thinking this will bolster his reelection chances with marginally Democrat voters and other weak minded individuals. Of course means naught to me - the Democrat party is a festering boil, it’s evil, the current crop of ‘d’ candidates only adds weight to that belief. There is not a whit of difference between today’s Democrat party adherents and my Marxist grandfather.

I agree he has become a shining example of bipartisanship and independent thinking. I also agree that at the stage he was at in his ailment he should have never been elected. He couldn’t put a cohesive thought together. His sentences were nonsensical. It was truly painful watching him. It would be interesting to know what his treatment plan he followed to help him progress this far. Maybe just “tincture of time” as we used to say. If he has any concrete care plan , he should share it. Strokes and their recovery are all so variable.

Not sure if you watched the interview I posted on Laura Trumps show, Fetterman’s more conservative than many of the Republican senators. Was with the president on closing the borders, taking out Irans nukes, pro Israel, passing the clean CR, etc. take a minute and see it. He talks about his depression and how it affected his friends. It’s really pretty personal and he really has come back since the Oz debate.

I didn’t watch it but I have heard him stand up and buck the democratic establishment regarding their views etc…which I applaud. It’s sad to watch the herd mentality which leaves the American public out of their considerations. I’m sure that his depression was caused by his aphasia. Plus the possibility that this might be his new normal. Luckily, he seems to have beaten the odds. Hoping that his health continues to improve and that he advocates for others in similar situations.

Hello Patriot James Goodrich~!

I am SO sorry to hear about your good friend's health issues and God willing I hope that he immediately finds the strength to look into some serious "detoxing" protocols that some of the best in the medical field have been desperately trying to get folks to consider~! Many of us have been working for years to wake people up to the extreme dangers of the criminals within the medical industry and we have suffered unimaginable personal attacks and economic disasters because of our efforts~! The truth about this sick COVID and these deadly fake "vaccines" has actually been out there and available to those who were willing to consider it, but unfortunately many people always react in fear instead of common sense when common sense matters most~! This is in fact the largest scale mass murder genocidal/democidal assault in history by far and there are a great many injuries and deaths every day that are NOT being disclosed as being caused by these dangerous and deadly COVID vaccines. Thank you for sharing your story with others, because that is the kind of effort that helps to encourage others to actually do their own due diligence homework~! Prayers for your friend and his friends and family~! Sincerely, Mike

I liked what James Goodrich wrote, but it makes me wonder, because the Bible states that the Messiah says that As ye sow so shall ye reap and also that if a man does any harm to a little one that it is better that a heavy disc be placed around his neck and he be drowned in the deep sea.

If someone is faithful to God, and tries to consistently do the right thing, you will find that the favor of God will find you. Even when someone else may be more qualified to receive something, like a promotion, a job or things just go better in your life, they say it is because of your faith in God. Also I find myself thanking God for the good things that come my way. I know you have a lot to be thankful for Barbara!!

I know people who have lived their whole lives hedonistically and immorally .. then at the last minute get religion. What the Messiah said is more apt to be true... As ye sow; so shall ye reap. rather than Father forgive them, which I believe was put in there by members of the Roman Catholic Papacy...It was responsible for the first Bible printed in Latin that came off the printing press in the 1450s. I believe one has to walk the walk...not talk the walk. I have been asking for guidance, while reading the Bible for the last 40 years.

Quite the enjoyable group of truths, including the advice on marriage. Does Jill have anything to add or does it simply go both ways. Obama endorsing Mamdani is predictably frightening, he still does have plenty of influence. "Oh, what a tangled web we weave when we first practice to deceive." He checked a lot of boxes for people (Dems) who found such things compelling. He also delivered speeches that made people listen, no matter what the content of those speeches was. However, it seems pretty clear that his speeches were entirely written by good speechwriters and Obama read a good teleprompter. Listening to him pontificate now, without anyone to write his words, he is extremely unimpressive and sounds nothing like he used to. Personally, I always viewed him as a phony, and most definitely a deceiver.

HAPPY SUNDAY!!!

The Mamdani meme was spot on, but the results will be far worse than real estate—Islam is a political religion based on violence, torture, and forced conversions for 1,400 years—nothing has changed. There’s 700,000 Muslims in NYC, and there are videos that show they are prepared to fight and take over the city in ways we have not seen before—the voters are biblical fools, and will reap the whirlwind soon.

Dr. Malone’s selected memes are funny and many are spot on about our current situations—they take the edge off the chaos we are facing, without sticking our heads in the sand.

When I comment on his site, I try to point to Christ and give people hope that no matter what, faithfulness to Truth, is worth standing and dying for.

February 15, 2015, ISSIS beheaded 21 Coptic Christians. They choreographed the killings on film, then the third time they killed them. BUT, before they performed their Islamic/demonic act, they gave them one last chance to denounce Christ and become a Muslim—not one of them denounced Christ, in fact, the last word they spoke in this life was the name of Jesus.

Faithfulness to Truth does not mean everything will turn out ok, it just means, there are things worth dying for, because the Coptic families who the 21 men left behind said, the first person they saw after dying was Jesus, who they never denied to the end. Life is short, but eternity is forever. Choose Life.

So be encouraged! Death for those who follow Christ is the beginning of life, not the end.

HAPPY SUNDAY

What a great Sunday Strip, thank you! I thought I got up late this morning, but Ah-Ha! It’s that “time of year again…I was fooled”! The opening Turkey holding the “eat more ham” sign is great; I have never liked turkey, but would always eat a few pieces, smothered with orange-cranberry sauce! "Oh, tastes good, Mom"! Last year my Daughter smoked a large turkey in her smoker, & the taste, flavor, & moist meat was very good! Kudos to my beautiful Daughter & her smoker!

Chivalry is dead- in my & my Daughter’s opinion. Sometimes we run errands together, & on many occasions, have witnessed a change in “holding doors open” for ladies; my Grand daughter was almost hit by a door that someone in front of her didn’t offer to hold the door open. Where are the real men? When I used to walk with my Dad when we went grocery shopping, he always made me walk on the inside - always changing positions as we walked to protect me. I did the same thing with my children, & now with my Grand daughter’s.

As we get closer to voting this upcoming Tuesday, I really hope the people see what is, & has been going on in many blue sanctuary cities/states, & choose wisely in selecting candidates that represent them- I pray the socialists that are trying to gain seats, & control, lose in each state that has any running for office.

Have a Blessed & beautiful Sunday everyone!

Its a mixed bag here in the Denver area. Some men have courtesy built in by good family values (regardless of the 'liberated gangs of female bodies in the vicinity). I can appreciate and happily accept the offer, but do not require the act. I do agree it's probably hard for a regular guy to figure out the social graces anymore. Definitely a throw back to a gentler (as in gentlemen) time when men saw women as the "frail" gender. Women, in general, don't necessarily feel they are "frail", hence a bit of 'bite the male hand that offers'. I've been known to hold a door open no matter who it is. Wouldn't it be nice if it could just be considered a helping hand reaching out, especially when your hands are full.

To the Men: Don't be intimidated, but maybe read your audience. To the Women: Common, give em a break. (they are in many ways the 'frail' side of the species...wink, wink). My $2.. now 2 pennies worth.
