You know the saying you learn something new everyday, sometimes we learn to accept a truth we already knew.
Everyday we have a choice to believe that either God is in control and good things are going to happen or we can live worried , negative, expecting the worst. Fear and faith have something in common, they both ask us to believe something is going to happen that we cannot see. Fear says business is slow I’m going to go under, faith says my customer will sign the contract, business will pick up. Fear says this pain in my back is the same thing my mother died of, faith says that pain is not permanent it’s only temporary. Fear says you’ve been through so much you’re never going to be happy again, faith says my best days are out in front of me.
Whatever you let in your mind is what’s going to take root. If you dwell on that fear all day you’re giving it a right to become a reality. That’s what Job said, “the thing I feared came upon me”. Fear is using your faith in the wrong direction. Faith can work in the negative just as well as it will in the positive.
I heard a story about a lady. Practically every night for years and years she thought she heard a burglar downstairs in her kitchen. She would make her husband get up at least once a week and go make sure everything was ok. One night she thought she heard some noise, honey wake up somebodies down in our kitchen. He got up so routinely like he had done a thousand times before. This time when he walked downstairs he was staring down the barrel of a gun. His eyes got so big. The burglar said don’t make a sound just give me all of your valuables. He gathered up the valuables gave them to the burglar. The burglar turned around and was about to run off, the husband said wait a minute you can’t go yet, you have to come up and meet my wife, she’s been expecting you for 30 years.
The moral of the story is don’t go through life expecting disappointments, bad breaks, disasters, that’s putting faith in the fear that allows it to become a reality.
Your mind is the target of the enemy. If he can control your mind he can control your whole life. We have to stay disciplined in our thought life. Guard your mind. Learn to see faith and not fear, God is much stronger than fear. We just have to be willing to always see the positive and block out the negative.
Good thoughts for the day. We must also have faith that things will work out for the best eventually when the business is slow, the contract doesn't get signed, and even when the business goes under. Perhaps that will lead to a better business. We all fail and struggle and we can learn from that. Sometimes those failures can be the best thing that could have happened even if the next thing isn't all about better financial success, but a realignment of our values, and more meaningful life.

Whether it's a globe or flat does not change my life in any way. Believing in one over the other does not affect my walk as a Christian, or help me get to heaven. When confronted with the question of the shape of the world, many people are quick to assert that they live on a globe because they believe they have personally seen the curvature of the Earth from their airplane window.
To begin with, the glass used in all commercial airplane passenger windows is actually round, layered and slightly curved which distorts the edges giving the impression that the horizon and other straight lines curve downwards. These rounded windows have the effect of evenly distributing pressure and reducing the likelihood of cracks or breaks because they have no corners for stress to concentrate making them better at withstanding pressure. Unfortunately though, these windows also have the strange side-effect of causing people to believe that the Earth is a globe because they mistake the curvature of the glass for that of the horizon...

After 3 more months of 24 hour rotations, the globe would be 270 degrees from its original position, and sunrise in New York during the Spring equinox should be happening at noon."

How Eclipses Work on a level Earth

Graduating high screwal in 1969, I had plenty of experience with the hippie and "back to the land" communes. The mostly went the same way. A couple or small group of activists bought some land and brought in a number of people to live there and labor on the farm land. Some would have jobs outside of it to bring in more money. Many became dissatisfied and left. Some had differing opinions of how things should run and were kicked out. All the promises of this being shared land and everyone having a stake based on the time and contribution was not honored. 14. Amitriptyline — tricyclic antidepressant
Prescriber: Dr. Jennifer Tufts
Started: January 16, 2023 at the lowest dose; increased to 20 mg on January 23, the day before the killings.
Purpose in her treatment: depression and, particularly, sleep.
FDA labeling: treatment of depressive symptoms; it is a tricyclic antidepressant.
One important clarification: The frequently reported figure of 13 psychiatric medications does not mean there were only 13 prescription-drug names ever associated with Clancy. Trial testimony also established that she had previously taken Wellbutrin (bupropion) while in nursing school without reported side effects. That earlier trial is outside the four-month 13-medication timeline. She also used melatonin, an OTC supplement, and was taking it after her McLean hospitalization. Neither Wellbutrin nor melatonin is included in the Globe's 13-drug four-month count.
Also, ketamine should not be counted as one of the medications she was prescribed before the killings. Tufts testified that Clancy asked about ketamine therapy on January 11, 2023, but Tufts said she did not believe she was yet at the point where ketamine treatment was appropriate.
Finally, the public record supports a distinction that is often lost in online discussions: these were prescriptions and medication trials occurring over time, not proof that all of these drugs were simultaneously in her system on January 24, 2023. Toxicology and trial testimony indicated that some medications were present at therapeutic levels, some at low/negligible levels, and that the highest concentrations of certain drugs occurred later in the evening.
Thank God I was born a male. I do not think the male oriented medical professionals understands how more complex females are that have the burden of birth. If they did we would be having a public discussion on the root causes of PPD. Instead cartoons are being pumped out to distract from the root causes and lock the tragic loss of child as a criminal offense. Keeps the SSRI"s flowing. SSRI's are a common denominator in the PPD sad outcomes as well as the school shootings and it is ignored and not examined. .
Yes, SSRI"s have such a potentially volatile effect. School shootings, murders, suicides... and still they are poorly regulated-- evidence shows.
She had checked herself into a hospital for mental health help just 19 days prior to the murders. They released her, but she stayed on all of her meds.

I think you are right. There were no SSRI's when I went to school and we had no shootings that I ever heard of in West central Indiana. This with every truck in the High School parking lot with a loaded gunrack in the back window. I do not carry a gun because I have a hair trigger temper for stupidity, although I am more mellow at 66 and now just walk away from stupid.
Regarding Lindsay Clancy--it wasn't just hormones--she was subjected to at least 13 powerful psychotropic drugs. There have been many cases of suicide and homicide due to the prescription of drugs like these. It's not as simple as it looks.
I've watched this case and that's the one thing that stands out to me. I don't think she should be let off scot-free, but there are a lot of complexities that a jury verdict just cannot address.
She murdered 3 innocent children. If it gets put down to a mental issue then she should be put in an institution for life times 3. These children will never experience growing up, have relationships, jobs, marriage, children, or love. It is sad to read how many are on her side, perhaps a side effect from abortion. Imagine a father and mother are the parents of three children. Two boys, one girl.
To be a good mother or father, do you treat all three children exactly the same? Regardless of abilities, interests, skills, age, size, strength. Of course not.
You treat each one as an individual.
Do you also do things with the family in mind?
Of course. Family dinners, family outings, house rules, Christian values.
Imagine two brothers, John and George. George gets a job doing landscaping work after school. And makes $100 a week. Spending money.
John chooses to spend his time after school practicing voice so he can be in a choir or be in a band.
At the end of the week, George doesn’t automatically give John $50.
Each brother made a choice. They live with the consequences. The guy practicing voice could make money performing or not make any.
However, in any case, John can’t transfer 50% of his singing talent to George.
George will probably have spent the money instead of putting some in savings John is investing everything into a future goal. It may not work out, or it may. Perhaps John should also work for some money during the week so he can put away some money for the future. Both plans had some weaknesses when I think about it.
As a teenager I worked starting with a paper route, then working in restaurarts, I also was in a "garage band" with some of my friends and could afford my microphone and stand, amplifiers and bass guitar, and a 1960 Volkswagen Later I worked in factories and a machine shop and paid my own way through college. My younger brother did not work during high school, borrowed mom's car, was put through an expensive college paid by our father but dropped out after 3 years. He only got serious about work in middle age and again coerced dad to pay for it. When Dad died we each got half of his estate which was not big. But, dad specified I get the money in his savings account and remainder of his checking account (also not big) separate from the estate because he had helped my brother so much while I always paid my own way. Brother bitched about that being unfair to him.
I’ve noticed that in families—the ones who refuse to work go back to mom or dad for money their parents worked hard for. When parents do that, they are creating dependent and lazy children. Though the amount was not “big” the extra given to you was an appreciation of your diligence as a worker and a son.

We have plenty of evidence that "socialism" doesn't work in real life. 🤣 We are born with with free will and the ability to reason. Then, we make choices. I think Christian values are a very helpful foundation. But, even with that, some siblings will focus on how unfair they are treated and not see things from the parents' and other siblings' perspectives.
In Capitalist Society, George is free to do what he wants with his money. In a Socialist Society (DSA or otherwise named), George would be expected (aka forced) to give John some, if not all, of his earnings. George would not have a choice. Where his earnings went would be mandated. In fact, in our current form of our government, depending in what George earned, much of his earnings would be mandated to the government under the guise of taxes, regardless of whether he would be able to recoup any in later life (obviously, SSA) or doled out for choices he has no say in. We're already living in a semi-Socialist government! John would benefit from George's earnings from this, as well, irrespective of his decisions in youth. And, God help George if he ends up earning extraordinary amounts! Higher taxes to pay for all those lesser-earning individuals who pay lesser amounts. It's all one big psyop game since we are still believing we live in the "Land of the Free". We've been deluded into believing we live in a Capitalist Society. Sure, some areas are still "free", but are quite limited. The true Communist-Socialists wish to squeeze what's left of our "freedoms" into an abyss. If we don't get out & vote against that/them, not much else will matter, save a belief in the one true God, but trust me, that will be made harder to express openly. The "Georges" of our country had better make time to vote! The "Johns"? It won't matter. They're covered. Or, so they'll think, until they're not permitted that, either.

There was a woman parked next to me at the Post Office. She was driving a truck with a cab—she had a nine month old on her left hip, as she was buckling up the other child in the car seat, with two boxes of chirping chickies on the ground, and two containers of feed in the bed of the truck, while wearing farm boots.
Before leaving, I got her attention be saying, “Excuse me!” She turned around and was a bit perplexed, and I said, “I just want to tell you that you remind me of my wife taking care of our children. I Could never figure out how she could have one child on her hip, while taking care of the other one, and accomplishing other tasks at the same time. I just wanted to say God bless you as a mother.”
Her countenance changed, and she patted her heart and with an appreciative smile said, “Thank You.” I could tell she was taken back.
We live in a society, in general, that has denigrated the home by devaluing the God-given role of wife and mother. My wife homeschooled our children so they could have a Christian education, but societal pressure weighed heavy on her not “producing” an income. Yes, her working would have placed us in a better situation financially and our older years looking better, but we believed sacrificing financially for our kids at that time, would produce a future generation of children who honor God and live for Him.
God promised to feed us and clothe us, and he has never failed in that promise, nor will he in the future.
So mothers, whether you worked outside of the home or stayed home, God bless your faithfulness to your children who you labored hard to bring them into this life. ❤️

For me, who had two pregnancies with no live child born, I have a hard time with a Mom killing her kids. I would have hung the jury as well, no matter the peer pressure and mental issues. I always wanted to be a Mom and didn't get the chance due to medical issues and an inept doctor in the ER who relied on a monitor that was not working.
I blame the whole system for all the chaos going on today. People killing so easily every day. The government is so focused on money that it doesn't promote the truth. Sick people feed the economy, between the Medical industry and the Processed Food Industry primarily. if people knew the truth about nutrition and health, they would be mentally and physically healthy. When I was thirty and ignorant, I was fat and lethargic. It took time, but I started my own research...and i am healthier today at 92 than I ever was, in my early life. We cannot get into the head of Lindsey Clancy. Man will propose, but God will ultimately dispose. What we do know is that Ms. Clancy was on a cocktail of powerful "mental health" drugs. I believe the readership of this substack is overall very critical of Big Pharma. Maybe that should be the focus in this case?
3 small children eliminated from this earthly life, but the WHY of it doesn't seem to be getting any answers. I'm not 100% sure that All the women who appear to be in support of her are doing so against the elimination of the brutal act, but are possibly in support of getting a deeper, more through, more profound answer to the Why before she is condemned. I think many of them can see, as women, that SOMETHING is very wrong, Something is out of whack, something is being covered up.
Lindsey 'appears' to be the end result of something any one of us 'could' be subjected to. I've read of many strong, seemingly mentally capable military men who have been given cocktails of drugs and gone out of their minds (Yes, psychoactive drugs in the military can negatively affect combat readiness and reduce the performance of troops, leading to potential health issues. Their misuse can also be dangerous and, in some cases, deadly), and it appears Lindsey was prescribed an extensive cocktail of drugs.
I don't, can't condone the killing, but Lindsey didn't slit her wrists and jump out of a window after the crime to go on vacation or walk away. God did not accept her with her children into a better place and she now lives in paralysis and with that knowledge.
I judge the act - it was horrendous. I will not judge Lindsey, the person. I do not know her, I do not have the insight to judge this person. I do not see her 'walking free' no matter what the outcome.

I’m sorry, I’m confused - are you saying "big pharma" put those drugs in her body or forced her to take them? From what I understand the defendant kept going to different docs and getting a boatload of scripts. Since she was a nurse/in the health field, she knew the danger of this behavior and the danger of chemical cocktails. If you want to point fingers away from the defendant then perhaps it should be at government and its inability to regulate dispensing potentially dangerous drugs. Had there been a central database of who’s been prescribed what/when/by whom then this tragedy and the ones involving the narcotics would have been prevented. As for issues of privacy, is it any different than purchasing a firearm - both items, and many others, have the ability to create great harm and death.

I've known many doctors & nurses outside of their offices. One thing I've learned is that they are trained that essentially for every health concern, there is a pill that will either fix it or at least help it. LC was a nurse, so would've been trained this way. I don't doubt that she believed in the power of the pills. As her mind became more & more unstable, it's likely that she clung to that belief even tho they weren't helping.. at ALL! She was not a chemist nor a pharmacologist, so wouldn't have known what the combo of drugs were being created within her system.
Her doctors should have had more of a clue, but, as many doctors tend to do, each one thought they had a better answer with a different pairing of drugs. It's a mindset I've seen too often. I've lived that on & off with different doctors believing THEIR ideal drugs would be better! They weren't.
She sought help thru pharmacopea. Medical people do that. I've seen that especially with a doctor friend vaccine injured. More types of drugs, chemo.. more doctors. It's all they know to do, it seems. Blows off more holistic protocols I've sent from videos & lectures. Nurses tend toward that, too.
The pink lady white liberal women (I initially thought many could be nurses.. but no, real nurses wouldn't have that much free time).. they're bonkers, actually. They act as if it's perfectly normal to murder your children. It's absolutely NOT, whether in the womb or outside! They are actually hurting her "case" by not focusing on pharma. I understand exactly what you are saying. My 'doctor' was a Nurse Practitioner until she retired a couple years ago. I remember at one point I asked her to include a Vit D test in my blood work. Her reply, "Oh, hon, you don't need that". I insisted, she pouted. It wasn't' until the medical community got on the bandwagon of testing Vit D that she finally said, "Let's make sure you do a Vit D test". Ironic, ha!
I've also asked and been refused a full workup on thyroid. I have to get Really insistent many times, over and over, cause in their minds "I'm not the one who has been trained". "I'm not qualified".

Our GP poo-pooed our taking of supplements when at our initial consultation (we, like so many others, we're essentially FORCED to subscribe to a GP for Medicare benefits.. a bit of Socialism right there, huh?) we asked if he'd like our list of supplements. His response was that, Well you can take them, but you pee them all out, so they're not much help. Yet, when I'd actually contracted Covid & my husband called to ask if there was anything we could do, he said, Well, give her some Zinc. Apparently, word had inched its way up the "professional" chain that Zinc was helpful! My husband wanted to say to him, Won't she just "pee" that out as you'd suggested to us before? He kept mum, however.
Of course, we were both already taking Zinc.. I just added more for that duration.
Even the terminology of doctors has changed over time! What USED to be called "Family Physician" suddenly got rebranded as "GP" or even "PCP", as if it was a "specialty" now! Fancy labels, indeed.
The entirety of the medical profession has undergone a metamorphosis, but not in a positive way. They've gone from the once respected butterfly to becoming more like caterpillars! And, like caterpillars, unless you are acutely aware of the various species, you never know if they will destroy your garden or benefit it in some fashion. Also like caterpillars, many ONLY feed on one type of plant, while others are more expansive in tastes. Unlike this definition, however, the doctors who are more expansive are generally the more open minded ones & tend to be less destructive (to us). They are more humble & recognize that they don't have ALL the answers. Somehow, they were able to buck the indoctrination.. their "training"! Amazing creatures, they are, & a rarity at that!

Imho, I don't think we have a choice. President Trump has said Data Centers are required to produce their own electricity and not take fresh local water but use the waste water, and apparently they use the same water over and over again. I don't know about the noise - haven't heard it yet. We lived in Waco for a while and on many nights about 9 p.m. our windows would rattle along with a loud rumbling noise. We were about 20 miles north of McGregor where Space X had an engine testing facility. The noise for the locals in McGregor was apparently pretty bad, but, at the time at least, most of the locals LOVED Space X, who otherwise was a great neighbor that provided lots of good paying jobs.
I had to ask AI because I wasn't sure, but there are none now but there was one planned in the late 80's early 90's for Ellis County north of Dallas. I remember talk about that. Apparently, running out of money was the reason it was not completed.

Fear or Faith
You know the saying you learn something new everyday, sometimes we learn to accept a truth we already knew.
Everyday we have a choice to believe that either God is in control and good things are going to happen or we can live worried , negative, expecting the worst. Fear and faith have something in common, they both ask us to believe something is going to happen that we cannot see. Fear says business is slow I’m going to go under, faith says my customer will sign the contract, business will pick up. Fear says this pain in my back is the same thing my mother died of, faith says that pain is not permanent it’s only temporary. Fear says you’ve been through so much you’re never going to be happy again, faith says my best days are out in front of me.
Whatever you let in your mind is what’s going to take root. If you dwell on that fear all day you’re giving it a right to become a reality. That’s what Job said, “the thing I feared came upon me”. Fear is using your faith in the wrong direction. Faith can work in the negative just as well as it will in the positive.
I heard a story about a lady. Practically every night for years and years she thought she heard a burglar downstairs in her kitchen. She would make her husband get up at least once a week and go make sure everything was ok. One night she thought she heard some noise, honey wake up somebodies down in our kitchen. He got up so routinely like he had done a thousand times before. This time when he walked downstairs he was staring down the barrel of a gun. His eyes got so big. The burglar said don’t make a sound just give me all of your valuables. He gathered up the valuables gave them to the burglar. The burglar turned around and was about to run off, the husband said wait a minute you can’t go yet, you have to come up and meet my wife, she’s been expecting you for 30 years.
The moral of the story is don’t go through life expecting disappointments, bad breaks, disasters, that’s putting faith in the fear that allows it to become a reality.
Your mind is the target of the enemy. If he can control your mind he can control your whole life. We have to stay disciplined in our thought life. Guard your mind. Learn to see faith and not fear, God is much stronger than fear. We just have to be willing to always see the positive and block out the negative.

Good thoughts for the day. We must also have faith that things will work out for the best eventually when the business is slow, the contract doesn't get signed, and even when the business goes under. Perhaps that will lead to a better business. We all fail and struggle and we can learn from that. Sometimes those failures can be the best thing that could have happened even if the next thing isn't all about better financial success, but a realignment of our values, and more meaningful life.

The Natural Law and Physics of Water is the same from a glass of water all the way up to the Global oceans. It requires a basin to hold the water, and in a calm state the surface of the water will be level. Water will run downhill until it reaches a level flood plain or into the Oceans.

The horizon always rises to the eye level of the observer as altitude is gained, so you never have to look down to see it. If Earth were in fact a globe, no matter how large, as you ascended the horizon would stay fixed and the observer / camera would have to tilt looking down further and further to see it.

John, I didn't look through any of your links. My thought about globe vs flat earth is this: God designed the earth. He did what only He can do. Whether it's a globe or flat does not change my life in any way. Believing in one over the other does not affect my walk as a Christian, or help me get to heaven. There are battles in my life that DO matter to my soul, and I choose to put my effort and energy into those instead.
I wish you the best in determining for yourself whether this fascination is worth all the time, effort and energy you put into it.
Well, an image is worth a 1000 words, why are you are afraid of the images? They show nice mountain lakes, waterfalls from the islands,clouds and bodies of water and sun rays.
I don't believe they're all images. I see titles relating to water flowing, etc. I'd have to spend my time reading about things I'm not interested in, which to me would be a waste. Let me ask: why do you feel so passionate about this? What drives your interest?

Earth's Curvature Visible from your Airplane Window?
When confronted with the question of the shape of the world, many people are quick to assert that they live on a globe because they believe they have personally seen the curvature of the Earth from their airplane window.
To begin with, the glass used in all commercial airplane passenger windows is actually round, layered and slightly curved which distorts the edges giving the impression that the horizon and other straight lines curve downwards. These rounded windows have the effect of evenly distributing pressure and reducing the likelihood of cracks or breaks because they have no corners for stress to concentrate making them better at withstanding pressure. Unfortunately though, these windows also have the strange side-effect of causing people to believe that the Earth is a globe because they mistake the curvature of the glass for that of the horizon...

Graduating high screwal in 1969, I had plenty of experience with the hippie and "back to the land" communes. The mostly went the same way. A couple or small group of activists bought some land and brought in a number of people to live there and labor on the farm land. Some would have jobs outside of it to bring in more money. Many became dissatisfied and left. Some had differing opinions of how things should run and were kicked out. All the promises of this being shared land and everyone having a stake based on the time and contribution was not honored. The original couple or several people ended up with the paid off property and the rest could pound sand.

The situation in Massachusetts would not have happened if the ACLU had not worked to change the mental health laws in all 50 states in the early 70’s.
The ACLU decided that no one should be forced to take a medication or be admitted to a mental health facility against their wishes.
Prior to this a person who thought a family member needed help had a 3 step process to get help.
First see their personal dr. If the dr agreed help was needed, a second dr was consulted. If both drs agreed with the family they all went to court. If the judge also agreed, the person could be committed for 30 days where they could be evaluated by a team of professionals.
Note: each of the many medications she was on was tested by the FDA for safety and effectiveness. However,, they were never tested in combinations that she had to deal with.

Thank God I was born a male. I do not think the male oriented medical professionals understands how more complex females are that have the burden of birth. If they did we would be having a public discussion on the root causes of PPD. Instead cartoons are being pumped out to distract from the root causes and lock the tragic loss of child as a criminal offense. Keeps the SSRI"s flowing. She had checked herself into a hospital for mental health help just 19 days prior to the murders. They released her, but she stayed on all of her meds.

I think you are right. There were no SSRI's when I went to school and we had no shootings that I ever heard of in West central Indiana. This with every truck in the High School parking lot with a loaded gunrack in the back window. I do not carry a gun because I have a hair trigger temper for stupidity, although I am more mellow at 66 and now just walk away from stupid.
Regarding Lindsay Clancy--it wasn't just hormones--she was subjected to at least 13 powerful psychotropic drugs. There have been many cases of suicide and homicide due to the prescription of drugs like these. It's not as simple as it looks.
I've watched this case and that's the one thing that stands out to me. I don't think she should be let off scot-free, but there are a lot of complexities that a jury verdict just cannot address.
She murdered 3 innocent children. If it gets put down to a mental issue then she should be put in an institution for life times 3. These children will never experience growing up, have relationships, jobs, marriage, children, or love. It is sad to read how many are on her side, perhaps a side effect from abortion. At the end of the week, George doesn’t automatically give John $50.
Each brother made a choice. They live with the consequences. The guy practicing voice could make money performing or not make any.
However, in any case, John can’t transfer 50% of his singing talent to George.

George will probably have spent the money instead of putting some in savings John is investing everything into a future goal. It may not work out, or it may. Perhaps John should also work for some money during the week so he can put away some money for the future. Both plans had some weaknesses when I think about it.
As a teenager I worked starting with a paper route, then working in restaurarts, I also was in a "garage band" with some of my friends and could afford my microphone and stand, amplifiers and bass guitar, and a 1960 Volkswagen Later I worked in factories and a machine shop and paid my own way through college. My younger brother did not work during high school, borrowed mom's car, was put through an expensive college paid by our father but dropped out after 3 years. He only got serious about work in middle age and again coerced dad to pay for it. When Dad died we each got half of his estate which was not big. But, dad specified I get the money in his savings account and remainder of his checking account (also not big) separate from the estate because he had helped my brother so much while I always paid my own way. Brother bitched about that being unfair to him.
I’ve noticed that in families—the ones who refuse to work go back to mom or dad for money their parents worked hard for. When parents do that, they are creating dependent and lazy children. Though the amount was not “big” the extra given to you was an appreciation of your diligence as a worker and a son.

We have plenty of evidence that "socialism" doesn't work in real life. 🤣 We are born with with free will and the ability to reason. Then, we make choices. I think Christian values are a very helpful foundation. But, even with that, some siblings will focus on how unfair they are treated and not see things from the parents' and other siblings' perspectives.
In Capitalist Society, George is free to do what he wants with his money. In a Socialist Society (DSA or otherwise named), George would be expected (aka forced) to give John some, if not all, of his earnings. George would not have a choice. Where his earnings went would be mandated. Her countenance changed, and she patted her heart and with an appreciative smile said, “Thank You.” I could tell she was taken back.
We live in a society, in general, that has denigrated the home by devaluing the God-given role of wife and mother. My wife homeschooled our children so they could have a Christian education, but societal pressure weighed heavy on her not “producing” an income. Yes, her working would have placed us in a better situation financially and our older years looking better, but we believed sacrificing financially for our kids at that time, would produce a future generation of children who honor God and live for Him.
God promised to feed us and clothe us, and he has never failed in that promise, nor will he in the future.
So mothers, whether you worked outside of the home or stayed home, God bless your faithfulness to your children who you labored hard to bring them into this life. ❤️

For me, who had two pregnancies with no live child born, I have a hard time with a Mom killing her kids. I would have hung the jury as well, no matter the peer pressure and mental issues. I always wanted to be a Mom and didn't get the chance due to medical issues and an inept doctor in the ER who relied on a monitor that was not working.
I blame the whole system for all the chaos going on today. People killing so easily every day. The government is so focused on money that it doesn't promote the truth. Sick people feed the economy, between the Medical industry and the Processed Food Industry primarily. if people knew the truth about nutrition and health, they would be mentally and physically healthy. When I was thirty and ignorant, I was fat and lethargic. It took time, but I started my own research...and i am healthier today at 92 than I ever was, in my early life. Industries are all about their Bottom Line...and selling products.

We cannot get into the head of Lindsey Clancy. Man will propose, but God will ultimately dispose. What we do know is that Ms. Clancy was on a cocktail of powerful "mental health" drugs. I believe the readership of this substack is overall very critical of Big Pharma. Maybe that should be the focus in this case?

3 small children eliminated from this earthly life, but the WHY of it doesn't seem to be getting any answers. I'm not 100% sure that All the women who appear to be in support of her are doing so against the elimination of the brutal act, but are possibly in support of getting a deeper, more through, more profound answer to the Why before she is condemned. I think many of them can see, as women, that SOMETHING is very wrong, Something is out of whack, something is being covered up.
Lindsey 'appears' to be the end result of something any one of us 'could' be subjected to. I've read of many strong, seemingly mentally capable military men who have been given cocktails of drugs and gone out of their minds (Yes, psychoactive drugs in the military can negatively affect combat readiness and reduce the performance of troops, leading to potential health issues. Their misuse can also be dangerous and, in some cases, deadly), and it appears Lindsey was prescribed an extensive cocktail of drugs.
I don't, can't condone the killing, but Lindsey didn't slit her wrists and jump out of a window after the crime to go on vacation or walk away. God did not accept her with her children into a better place and she now lives in paralysis and with that knowledge.
I judge the act - it was horrendous. I will not judge Lindsey, the person. I do not know her, I do not have the insight to judge this person. I do not see her 'walking free' no matter what the outcome.
Tragic indeed, and this just happens to be one we hear about. Thank you for articulating more completely what I was saying. Yes, in this life, she will never walk free, regardless of what the justice system and society do.
I’m sorry, I’m confused - are you saying "big pharma" put those drugs in her body or forced her to take them? From what I understand the defendant kept going to different docs and getting a boatload of scripts. Since she was a nurse/in the health field, she knew the danger of this behavior and the danger of chemical cocktails. If you want to point fingers away from the defendant then perhaps it should be at government and its inability to regulate dispensing potentially dangerous drugs. Had there been a central database of who’s been prescribed what/when/by whom then this tragedy and the ones involving the narcotics would have been prevented. As for issues of privacy, is it any different than purchasing a firearm - both items, and many others, have the ability to create great harm and death.
As for blaming "big pharma," how’bout everyone who throws out this tired trope abstain from using any of their products for themselves or their loved ones.
I've known many doctors & nurses outside of their offices. One thing I've learned is that they are trained that essentially for every health concern, there is a pill that will either fix it or at least help it. LC was a nurse, so would've been trained this way. I don't doubt that she believed in the power of the pills. As her mind became more & more unstable, it's likely that she clung to that belief even tho they weren't helping.. at ALL! She was not a chemist nor a pharmacologist, so wouldn't have known what the combo of drugs were being created within her system.
Her doctors should have had more of a clue, but, as many doctors tend to do, each one thought they had a better answer with a different pairing of drugs. It's a mindset I've seen too often. I've lived that on & off with different doctors believing THEIR ideal drugs would be better! They weren't.
She sought help thru pharmacopea. Medical people do that. I've seen that especially with a doctor friend vaccine injured. More types of drugs, chemo.. more doctors. It's all they know to do, it seems. Blows off more holistic protocols I've sent from videos & lectures. Nurses tend toward that, too.
The pink lady white liberal women (I initially thought many could be nurses.. but no, real nurses wouldn't have that much free time).. they're bonkers, actually. They act as if it's perfectly normal to murder your children. It's absolutely NOT, whether in the womb or outside! They are actually hurting her "case" by not focusing on pharma. They are totally out of it, imo, & are disgusting to me. I still contend they were HIRED by Big Pharma to distract from that side of the issue. They're doing a swell job. Me? I ignore them. My focus is on the drugs & our detesible Psychological system where supposedly nobody knew what other doctors were prescribing. How did THAT happen? Why was it ALLOWED to happen?
Yes, Big Pharma & the entire Psychological entities are culpable! No, they did not FORCE her to take anything. But, it's what she was trained to do, so was trained to believe in that system. She still is! So, she takes into her mouth what that system TRAINED her to believe would help, even now (I presume) after that system damaged her to the point she somehow thought it was ok to murder her children.. then, try to murder herself.
She should not & hopefully won't ever be released (what if she were to have MORE children???).. & will probably spend the rest of her days medicated with some of the very things that got here "here".
I can only hope that her children's deaths bring about a HUGE change in our Pscho-drug system, lest their deaths be obscured by time & forgotten. THAT would be an ultimate atrocity. Those sweet babies deserve to be remembered.
I understand exactly what you are saying. My 'doctor' was a Nurse Practitioner until she retired a couple years ago. I remember at one point I asked her to include a Vit D test in my blood work. Her reply, "Oh, hon, you don't need that". I insisted, she pouted. It wasn't' until the medical community got on the bandwagon of testing Vit D that she finally said, "Let's make sure you do a Vit D test". Ironic, ha!
I've also asked and been refused a full workup on thyroid. I have to get Really insistent many times, over and over, cause in their minds "I'm not the one who has been trained". "I'm not qualified".
Good on you to fight for yourself! It's sad, tho, that you (we) should even have to, tho, isn't it? It seems, like so many words, the term "trained" has come to mean "indoctinated". If we just keep that in mind when dealing with those who are the so-called "trained" individuals, thngs start to make more sense.
Our GP poo-pooed our taking of supplements when at our initial consultation (we, like so many others, we're essentially FORCED to subscribe to a GP for Medicare benefits.. a bit of Socialism right there, huh?) we asked if he'd like our list of supplements. His response was that, Well you can take them, but you pee them all out, so they're not much help. Yet, when I'd actually contracted Covid & my husband called to ask if there was anything we could do, he said, Well, give her some Zinc. Apparently, word had inched its way up the "professional" chain that Zinc was helpful! My husband wanted to say to him, Won't she just "pee" that out as you'd suggested to us before? He kept mum, however.
Of course, we were both already taking Zinc.. I just added more for that duration.
Even the terminology of doctors has changed over time! What USED to be called "Family Physician" suddenly got rebranded as "GP" or even "PCP", as if it was a "specialty" now! Fancy labels, indeed.
The entirety of the medical profession has undergone a metamorphosis, but not in a positive way. They've gone from the once respected butterfly to becoming more like caterpillars! And, like caterpillars, unless you are acutely aware of the various species, you never know if they will destroy your garden or benefit it in some fashion. Also like caterpillars, many ONLY feed on one type of plant, while others are more expansive in tastes. Unlike this definition, however, the doctors who are more expansive are generally the more open minded ones & tend to be less destructive (to us). They are more humble & recognize that they don't have ALL the answers. Somehow, they were able to buck the indoctrination.. their "training"! Amazing creatures, they are, & a rarity at that!
You are correct that invoking Big Pharma does not drill down on the complexity of the issue, but as others have commented on your comment, it starts there and goes down the chain. Forgive me that I wasn't more nuanced.

I am not seeing others here pointing fingers 'away' from the defendant, she admitted to the crime. I, myself, am still questioning the WHY, and it deserves an Answer. The children (innocents) will suffer no more. Lindsey Will pay for her actions. How many others are in or close to being in this same dilemma? We should care.

I think most memes are meant for laughs. I’m Canadian, and I am not offended by the memes currently circulating about our Prime Minister. These memes are offensive and insensitive. Mental illness is not evil. It’s a shame you can’t see that.
These memes were especially brutal, altho I have to agree that cartoons, or 'humor' in general is not always kind. So much of it is premised on someone else's pain and suffering. My husband always talks about how his grandma and her sisters would get a big laugh when someone else stubbed a toe.

Imho, I don't think we have a choice. President Trump has said Data Centers are required to produce their own electricity and not take fresh local water but use the waste water, and apparently they use the same water over and over again. I don't know about the noise - haven't heard it yet. We lived in Waco for a while and on many nights about 9 p.m. our windows would rattle along with a loud rumbling noise. We were about 20 miles north of McGregor where Space X had an engine testing facility. The noise for the locals in McGregor was apparently pretty bad, but, at the time at least, most of the locals LOVED Space X, who otherwise was a great neighbor that provided lots of good paying jobs.
