Everyday we have a choice to believe that either God is in control and good things are going to happen or we can live worried , negative, expecting the worst. Fear and faith have something in common, they both ask us to believe something is going to happen that we cannot see. Fear says business is slow I’m going to go under, faith says my customer will sign the contract, business will pick up. Fear says this pain in my back is the same thing my mother died of, faith says that pain is not permanent it’s only temporary. Fear says you’ve been through so much you’re never going to be happy again, faith says my best days are out in front of me.
Whatever you let in your mind is what’s going to take root. If you dwell on that fear all day you’re giving it a right to become a reality. Fear is using your faith in the wrong direction. Faith can work in the negative just as well as it will in the positive.
I heard a story about a lady. Practically every night for years and years she thought she heard a burglar downstairs in her kitchen. She would make her husband get up at least once a week and go make sure everything was ok. One night she thought she heard some noise, honey wake up somebodies down in our kitchen. He got up so routinely like he had done a thousand times before. This time when he walked downstairs he was staring down the barrel of a gun. His eyes got so big. The burglar said don’t make a sound just give me all of your valuables. He gathered up the valuables gave them to the burglar. The burglar turned around and was about to run off, the husband said wait a minute you can’t go yet, you have to come up and meet my wife, she’s been expecting you for 30 years.
The moral of the story is don’t go through life expecting disappointments, bad breaks, disasters, that’s putting faith in the fear that allows it to become a reality.
Your mind is the target of the enemy. If he can control your mind he can control your whole life. We have to stay disciplined in our thought life. Guard your mind. Learn to see faith and not fear, God is much stronger than fear. We just have to be willing to always see the positive and block out the negative.

Thank God I was born a male. I do not think the male oriented medical professionals understands how more complex females are that have the burden of birth. If they did we would be having a public discussion on the root causes of PPD. You treat each one as an individual.

Imagine two brothers, John and George. George gets a job doing landscaping work after school. And makes $100 a week. Spending money.
John chooses to spend his time after school practicing voice so he can be in a choir or be in a band.
At the end of the week, George doesn’t automatically give John $50.
Each brother made a choice. They live with the consequences. The guy practicing voice could make money performing or not make any.
However, in any case, John can’t transfer 50% of his singing talent to George.
George will probably have spent the money instead of putting some in savings John is investing everything into a future goal. It may not work out, or it may. Perhaps John should also work for some money during the week so he can put away some money for the future. Both plans had some weaknesses when I think about it.
As a teenager I worked starting with a paper route, then working in restaurarts, I also was in a "garage band" with some of my friends and could afford my microphone and stand, amplifiers and bass guitar, and a 1960 Volkswagen Later I worked in factories and a machine shop and paid my own way through college. My younger brother did not work during high school, borrowed mom's car, was put through an expensive college paid by our father but dropped out after 3 years. He only got serious about work in middle age and again coerced dad to pay for it. When Dad died we each got half of his estate which was not big. But, dad specified I get the money in his savings account and remainder of his checking account (also not big) separate from the estate because he had helped my brother so much while I always paid my own way. Brother bitched about that being unfair to him.

I would say that if reasonable people haven't awakened to the grave, obvious, extant threats, their powers of perception are very dull. The situation in Massachusetts would not have happened if the ACLU had not worked to change the mental health laws in all 50 states in the early 70’s.
The ACLU decided that no one should be forced to take a medication or be admitted to a mental health facility against their wishes.
Prior to this a person who thought a family member needed help had a 3 step process to get help.
First see their personal dr. If the dr agreed help was needed, a second dr was consulted. If both drs agreed with the family they all went to court. If the judge also agreed, the person could be committed for 30 days where they could be evaluated by a team of professionals.
Note: each of the many medications she was on was tested by the FDA for safety and effectiveness. However,, they were never tested in combinations that she had to deal with.
I’d like to see all states review their mental health laws.

President Trump has said Data Centers are required to produce their own electricity and not take fresh local water but use the waste water, and apparently they use the same water over and over again. I don't know about the noise - haven't heard it yet. We lived in Waco for a while and on many nights about 9 p.m. our windows would rattle along with a loud rumbling noise. We were about 20 miles north of McGregor where Space X had an engine testing facility. The noise for the locals in McGregor was apparently pretty bad, but, at the time at least, most of the locals LOVED Space X, who otherwise was a great neighbor that provided lots of good paying jobs.
Regarding Lindsay Clancy--it wasn't just hormones--she was subjected to at least 13 powerful psychotropic drugs. There have been many cases of suicide and homicide due to the prescription of drugs like these. It's not as simple as it looks.

I have to say I am not a fan of cartoons about a mother murdering her kids. I am also not a fan of the over-the-top support protests. There is nothing to celebrate here.
Presumption of innocence. I would like to see a real investigation taking place before condemning somebody. There are way more questions than there are answers so far in this case... with violent comments on both sides, comments which are repeated ad nauseum on both sides. Listen to the trial! It's not black and white.
