There have been few times in my life where I’ve been forced to realize how the ordinary daily things we do, looked at as routine or sometimes tedious, are truly the most extraordinary things in our life. It could be a change that we may have no control over that makes us realize. We get so used to our daily routines that we can easily forget those blessings we've been handed. It could come to us when someone else points out the magic in the mundane that wakes us up. Suddenly, we stop taking for granted the very things we had forgotten to appreciate.
I think we all can agree that during the pandemic, it seemed everyday Biden and his henchmen were taking away freedom after freedom that we thought could never be taken from us. It happened in a flick of the switch. A simple thing like going to the store, or going out for a bite to eat became a big hurdle we all had to somehow climb over. Even bodily autonomy and informed consent became a fight that many were forced to relinquish to the left’s authoritarian approach to “healthcare”.
I’ve had these moments where I really began to think the small things I do everyday, that most days feel like a hassle, are the things that if I suddenly couldn’t do I would miss the most. Getting up at 4:30 every morning and making coffee for my wife, many mornings seems like a headache, but I know it’s extraordinary to her, from time to time she tells me how much she appreciates it. Walking my dogs everyday. They may not be able to say it but they certainly show me how much they love their walks and how extraordinary I am for taking them. We can forget how being able to get up everyday, open our eyes and see, go to work, earn a living to provide for our families, can at times seem ordinary, but to the people we support, even if they don’t notice or acknowledge it, these ordinary things we do are extraordinary. Many times the day to day routines feel like a grind but if that ability was taken away we would quickly become aware of the blessings that had been given to us. It’s these ordinary things we do that build extraordinary character and build a life.
It is easy to get caught up in the day to day routines of life and forget how precious family is and we are. Take a moment today to reflect on your blessings, and never lose sight of the extraordinary in the routines of daily life.
Yes, and "the people" won. Those that didn't get vaccines were vindicated and never did get the jab. Many who got the jab, still get the 'boosters'. I know a few people who have been unhealthy since they have been jabbed and they never make the connection. Why is that?
I got two jabs, because my wife works with the elderly and she was mandated to get the jabs. I got cancer 9 months later, beat it, but the lingering effects will be with me until the end. I'm definitely about 80% of what I was before Covid/Jabs...
Forgot to mention, I've had Covid twice; nothing more than a severe cold/flu...
And all for a treatable infection with a 99+% recovery rate. Even for those age 70+, the survival rate was 94.5%. Tragically, 60% of the businesses in this country that were forced to close, never re-opened.
It was never about public health or an infection. It was about turning the world upside down with a “Great Reset” of authoritarian control, death, destruction, and loss of every freedom that every person holds — or should hold — dear.

Totally! If people took the time to read the list of items in drugs and vaccines...and checked them out...they would never put them into their bodies. The only thing that belongs in the bloodstream to promote health are nutrients from unprocessed food. Mankind lived thousands of years without the help of Big Pharma's toxic chemical products, which are destroying the minds and bodies of all recipients.
And I remember the crushing feeling of losing our freedoms to people in power who looked either too demented to be rational or so evil that slugs crawled out their noses as they intoned “safe and effective. Do it for the old folks… OR we will force you.”
I did not trust them, so I did not get the vaccine. Nothing happened to me, never got covid, never got a test, never got arrested for disobeying our "medical experts".
My three businesses were greatly affected by Covid. Thus, I've made the decision to retire in September. I already sold off my building+2 acres, and all the large equipment I had on the floor, back in 2022. I had many clients that went under, merged or retired early. I still wonder if Covid was a dry run for some other purpose...

There we were, a year later and Hawaii was finally letting you go to the beach... with a mask. A lot has happened since then and yes, we truly appreciate our day to day life; thankful for our freedoms but the eyebrow remains raised. This is beautiful James. I'm working on a habit of getting up before the sunrise...so I can watch it. Those of us who live here together go outside together and sit and watch the sunset, pretty much year round. The Saharan dust migrating through now provides brilliant, colorful sunsets.

In childhood I contracted polio. My limitations in walking caused me to evaluate every step, every place I went, and the places I couldn’t go. I overcame most limits by sheer grit and determination, but yes, I evaluate every common thing I can do, giving thanks to the Lord.
(Btw, my hubby and I raised 40 children, homesteaded at 30, built a log house from scratch and a geodesic dome at 60, left our home of 50 years to homestead again at 80, and value every day as precious.). Thanks James for reminding us.

We found a baby Elk on our property. A herd of Elk lives on the back 40, and they felt secure enough to have a baby, babies? So happy!
