I'm not familiar with him either but certainly agree with your comment.

When a new furnace was necessary in our house, they removed the circular, manual thermostat we had always had. Why? Because our New Furnace is 'smart' and could not talk to it. 2 years later the 'smart thermostat quit - no screen, no way to program or see what was going on. I said, "Isn't there a thermostat we can put in like the OLD 1? Nope!! Has to be tied to furnace thru 'smart tech' and must COST wayyyyy more. Grrrrrr. We don't even use any of the 'smart features'. Guaranteed to malfunction much sooner, guaranteed to be way more complicated, guaranteed to add so much more to our waste disposal. Not my idea of progress.

I’ve had a Nest Thermostat and always had to fight with “it’s” scheduling even after I deleted all of it to install what worked for my household AC or heat. Later I bifurcated the system as to not heat the entire house at night and had a new NEST thermostat installed in our bedroom . This new NEST thermostat had a mind of its own or should I say GOOGLE, it would not conform to my heat programming demands so one day I got so angry with Nest Thermostat that I yelled directly into it screaming I didn’t want their telling me my temperatures and to quit their Marxist climate control bullshit on my energy use and would control my thermostat as I wanted or rip it off the wall! Would ya know I never had a problem with it after that thermostat stayed programmed to MY settings NOT Googles.

Now few days ago I received an email alleging that NEST/GOOGLE have been listening to their WIFI products. The above happened about 2 years ago.

I’ve moved and new house had NEST I had it removed and installed HONEYWELL a much better system, stays with what you program thermostat to, but it’s all WIFI. I too begged for the old fashioned dial to determine my temperature needs but as far as my heating company says they’re not making them anymore. So hang on to yours folks if you gotta’em !

I also copy pasted that. Something to put by the phone to read if a scam caller gets through. It would be good to send in reply to such messages from retailers and offers to consolidate credit card balances ( I never carry over balances), etc. If just 2 of us did that it would be a coincidence, but if lots of us started doing it, it would become a movement and get noticed that we fed up.

Over the past 3 years I’ve read hundreds of your essays which has been a great learning experience. I’ve read thousands of posts from hundreds of different people. Some are doctors, some are nurses, pharmacists, engineers, electricians, soldiers, bikers, teachers, even carpenters. Most all are very intelligent, well spoken, good caring people. Many of your essays are about people that stand up, like yourselves, for what is right as we were being pushed by this global tyranny. Many essays have been about people that chose to compromise their reputation for personal gain. It’s so disappointing and honestly dangerous to learn people in powerful positions have chosen personal profit over the safety of others, especially when it comes to children. Most all of us learned right from wrong over time and live our lives trying to do the right thing. Some of us got it from watching our parents and how they made decisions.

I’ve been thinking of the essay you posted about Patrizia Cavazonni. How she was head of the FDA’s Drug Risk Management Board, which makes critical decisions to approve or pull drugs going out for public use. I’ve never heard of this board before, it’s amazing how many layers there are to this bureaucracy. How important Patrizia’s position is. You certainly would want people with the utmost character and integrity in her position and on that board. To think she made the choice to approve these very powerful, life changing drugs, with a horrible track record of adverse reactions for use on children is criminal to me. What little integrity Ms. Cavazonni may have once had, certainly disappeared when she resigned, and conflicted, took the position as Chief Medical Officer at Prizer. Really this should be illegal. Kids and their parents that have been harmed by her decisions should be able to sue her civilly.

A persons reputation is one of the most valuable things we have. A good name is worth far more than great riches. You can be wealthy and people look down on you because you have soiled your good name. When you stay on the high road it will take you much further than being dishonest, deceitful or trying to gain an unfair advantage. Anthony Fauci, Deborah Birx, Rochelle Walensky, Peter Hotez, Bill Gates, George Soros, Klaus Schwab, Patrizia Cavazonni, you see. Look at the way these people portray themselves yet they are all hypocrites.

It doesn’t have to be large sums of money either. We all face temptations everyday. If you are willing to steal a 10 dollar towel from a hotel how can you be trusted with 1,000 dollars, 10,000 dollars or even 100 thousand dollars. No one may see you take the towel but it sets you on a path of mediocrity. They say small foxes ruin the vines. It’s many times the small things that show your character. How you treat people and your family. If you always honor your commitments and try to live a life of integrity in your heart, you are sure to be rewarded. Remember God is always watching. J.Goodrich

Here’s a story I came across. Being a contractor that has seen others operate this way and fall it could very well be a true story.

There was a very wealthy man that had a friend that was a builder who had been down on his luck. The wealthy man owned a beautiful lot of land with a great view. He gave his friend a set of plans and 250 thousand dollars and said build me this new house for my family. I want you to handle all the details, call me when you’re done. The builder was thrilled he finally had some work. He got to thinking if he would cut some corners he could pocket some of the money. Right from the start he bought the cheapest concrete for the foundation. He watered it down to make it go further. He got the cheapest lumber, old twisted stock, he figured its behind the walls no one will see it. He hired the cheapest plumbers, electricians, plasterers. All said and done he saved nearly 45000 dollars. He looked back and was so happy the way his corner cutting plan had made him money. He called the owner over to look at his new home. The owner was very impressed, it looked really good from the outside. The owner then handed the builder back the keys, with it, the deed to the property. I did this for you my friend he said, so you and your family would have a beautiful home to live out the rest of your life. My family and I already have a beautiful home we’re all set.

The builder nearly collapsed. He thought if I only knew it was going to be my home I would have built it a whole lot better.

If we keep making compromises in our life, deceiving people, hurting people, not paying our bills in the end we are just hurting ourselves. In a way we are all building our own home. If we ruin our own reputation and people look at us as untrustworthy where are we then?

Perhaps it's just a winnowing? I think people probably know. They KNOW. What they do with that knowledge is a choice, but they know. Jeremiah 31, Ezekiel 11, Ezekiel 36, Hebrews 8, Corinthians 3. (Not to say any of us, including myself, are perfect... But we know when we're straying.)

Carole, what a great term winnowing is! And we all make choices every day. For some reason when I’m building something for a customer I have always tried to do my very best to give them a great product even things that you don’t see. But in my younger years I made many mistakes or poor choices at times. We all live and learn, I think as Come Quickly Lord said if you repent and then change your behavior you will be forgiven. Sometimes it’s small simple day to day things we do that make the difference. In Gods winnowing of sinful and righteous, we don’t want to be cast with the sinful over petty choices. I’m still learning thank you Carole!

The basic issue and challenge that the FDA has is that they are only fed the positive side of the drug research and much of the potential for side effects are never part of the documentation that they review! All you have to do is review the extensive number of prescription drugs that were deadly and have been removed from the marketplace over the last 50 years to understand how it works! Before the mRNA injections, the OxyContin fiasco that festered for 20 years and killed over 600,000 people was the worst example of how the truth is hidden about the harm that the drugs can do. The Sackler Brothers who were responsible for the OxyContin mass deaths manipulated the whole justice system so that the distributors and the drug chains became the bad guys and have paid out $30 billion and they are settling for somewhere around 8 billion in the meantime, most of their wealth it is reported has been shipped out of the United States and is safely growing more billions.! The Tucker Carlson interview with Brigham Bueller was an eye-opener and he mentioned that Purdue Fredericks wined and dined the FDA director originally to get the OxyContin approved as being safe and effective. The big lie.

Happy Sunday James Goodrich!

Integrity is doing what is right when no one is watching. What happens when the blinders are taken off and we realize we have miserably failed? Is our failure unforgivable? Are we doomed to a life of regret and sorrow? Not at all. It’s the opportunity to have a change of mind and heart, which leads to a change of direction—the Bible calls this repentance.

Jesus challenged the religious hypocrites of his time by asking, “Where are your fruits of repentance?” There were no fruits. When a person “repents” there’s fruit of their change of mind, but with the people you mentioned, there is no change, just a change of position to a higher paying g job. I believe civil suits can and should be filed against these bad actors, for ignoring the data of adverse reactions, and doubling down to maintain their direction—that’s pure malfeasance!

So if we fail, and we will, repent—change your mind, heart, and direction, and know that “If we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

God is Good and God is Love and God is Just.

To Robert Sterling: I say a version of this outloud, to no one in particular, every single day. Another thing that I often say out loud, to no one in particular, is that I do not want to have to keep "opting out" of a continual barrage & onslaught of aggravations & insults. As a society, we basically normalized being assaulted, until we opt out. For crying out loud, am I allowed to keep smacking someone around, over & over again, until they "opt out"? It is no different. Even my car engine keeps shutting itself off while I'm driving, unless I remember to push a button & "opt out". This is presumably to "save gas". Really??? And how much, pray tell, does that amount to over the course of a year? Too me, not enough to offset being startled over & over again, every time the car engine zooms to life. At one point, I was getting about 200 catalogs/week, until I called & opted out of receiving them. It took about a year to reach "net zero". I have many more examples, but the point is, that being aggravated has become to norm, until we "opt out".

Wow. Zelensky shows up to the White House meeting looking like a rebel freedom fighter and antagonizes the very people he needs to impress for helping him continue a loosing battle. IMO, President Trump and Vice President Vance were blindsided by Zelensky. How could the Ukrainian leader's actions be anticipated? In the mid 1980s, when the seat belt law was passed (Click It Or Ticket) I spoke up and said that it was not about safety. It was the first tiny step to herding the masses. Choosing not to wear a seat belt does no harm to anyone else but this is not about the value of seat belts but rather the slow leaching away of self accountability that is fundamental to a mature common sense based society that requires practice and the opportunity to learn from failure. The process takes time though.

Laws were originally supposed to keep us civil and protected from each other, not ourselves. But as is the usual tactic, the oh-so-good sounding idea of 'keeping us safe' was all we needed to begin the slow decline toward the actual goal of someone else determining what is best for us and ultimately removing the responsibility and right to make our own choices, whether wise or dumb.

Now our modern automobiles (and how we drive them) no longer belong to us. We are 'safely' managed by our very expensive, high tech vehicles. There are beeps and pings to let us know when we are not choosing properly. And we obey without question now. The truth is all but irrelevant.

President Zelensky did not wear sweatpants to the White House. He wore the same outfit he has worn for all public appearances since the war began, including Congress, the United Nations, and all three Davos meetings. There is nothing disrespectful about it. It is unconventional, but unconventional does not equal disrespectful. He has said that he will wear those clothes throughout the war, and go back to convention when the war is over.

And is it really fair to call him unserious now because of a comedy act from 20 years ago?
