I think if we consistently do the right thing as best we can things will continue to get better.
I often think about simple everyday things I can do that will make a difference. It could be as simple as a conversation with someone to take them to the path of seeing the truth.
Small everyday acts can sometimes turn into big changes. It’s in the ordinary obedience, when you’re serving, giving, loving, that you’re creating legacy. You don’t need to be in the spotlight, or have a large platform, if you do that’s great, but your impact is just as real and just as powerful. It’s not always the big moments that build legacy it’s the small steps of daily faithfulness. The things you do quietly when no one applauds. Those actions that seem small, God keeps the records of. What you do in secret, what nobody gives you credit for, God said he’ll reward you openly.
Dr. Malone the other day you mentioned the butterfly effect. A mathematician and weather expert named Edward Lorenz came up with a theory that a butterfly fluttering its wings could set off a chain reaction that could create a hurricane in Texas. That small insignificant motion had the power to set off a major shift. Of coarse people discounted it but he was able to prove scientifically how that slight change in the atmosphere created by a simple flutter of a butterflies wings could lead to this incredible weather pattern. Sometimes small ordinary actions can create a ripple effect that will cause much larger events to occur. This is the connection, when you go about your routine each day, it can seem ordinary like not much is happening, but your obedience is setting in motion things you can’t see. There’s a ripple effect taking place. God is orchestrating things that will have a greater impact, more significant than you could ever imagine. This is why the enemy tries to take away ordinary America. They try to make what we do seem insignificant. Don’t believe this, your life makes a difference, people are watching you, your family, your friends co-workers, your actions create influence.
Sometimes God hands you a gift. This past spring I was driving into Home Depot to get materials for my days work. I didn’t get far into the parking lot and I saw a wallet sitting on the asphalt, I stopped and picked it up. I took a look and there was a folded bunch of 20 dollar bills, some foreign currency, a family picture and of coarse a man’s drivers license. It appeared the man was originally from India and a picture showed his wife and two children. I googled his name but couldn’t find a phone number. He lived 2 towns away, so I decided I’d go in to get my materials and then drive to his house and drop the wallet off. It was a bit of a drive, when I got there I knocked on the door. An Indian woman hesitantly opened the door and in brocken English said can I help you. I told her I found her husbands wallet at Home Depot, knew he must have been worried, and wanted to get it back to him. She said he had called her and was a nervous wreck. She thanked me and I left. She didn’t take my number or my name but I’m sure the hour I took out of my day made a positive impact in those peoples lives. The good feeling I got was all the reward I needed.
So many times it’s our ordinary routine actions that can make the biggest difference. In John 6 there was a woman that had no idea how much she mattered, and how God was going to use something routine in her life to have such a tremendous impact on others. Her list of things to do was as long as usual but first she had to pack a lunch for her son. She only had two small fish left over from dinner and 5 small loaves of bread. As she began packing his lunch, she never would believe what would happen later that day. There was a huge crowd of people listening to Jesus teach. It was late in the day and they asked Jesus if they should dismiss the people so they can go find food. Jesus said you feed them. They were puzzled and said we don’t have that kind of food to feed all these people. Jesus asked well what do you have. So they searched the whole crowd and all they came up with was the little boys lunch with the two fish and the five loaves of bread. They gave it to Jesus, he blessed the food and it multiplied and ended up feeding over 5000 people, with twelve baskets of food left over. We hear a lot about the miracles of multiplying the food and I’m sure you have heard that story but it all started with a mother being faithful. She thought it was just a routine day checking off her to do list but it was part of a much bigger plan, something she couldn’t see right then. A divinely orchestrated moment that years later would still be inspiring us. That’s the butterfly effect. The relationship between small movements and big events. How could something as routine as taking care of your family have that kind of effect. Going to work being your best and doing it all over again. It feels so normal. You’ll never know the impact of your faithfulness. Keep honoring God, being good to people, going the extra mile you’re making a difference.
The scripture says don’t despise the day of small beginnings. God loves to take our small and do big things. He’ll use what we consider insignificant or ordinary to have a tremendous impact. Your steps are being ordered by the Lord. God has these destiny moments. It can seem ordinary but you don’t know what God is up to. As you keep being faithful in your everyday life you will be openly rewarded by God. Happy Sunday! J.Goodrich
Small things definitely matter in life, and our children notice it. I sent my children the following message early this morning, to remind them the importance of Love and commitment. Marriage is a commitment of Love—true Love—which once embraced, “Never Ends.”
HAPPY SUNDAY!
………………
Monday is our Wedding Anniversary, but with you guys working, I wanted to share this picture, and let you know how much I love your mother. (It was a picture of us on our wedding day. 🙂)
As we talk or when I see her working, I still see her as my Bride on that day 35 years ago. She’s older, but she has aged gracefully. To me, her beauty has not diminished.
I Corinthians 13 says Love never ends. That’s true even during difficult times, and we’ve had many over the years. Some are relational, financial, and health issues with me, that continues to this day. But your mom has remained faithful to me, and I to her.
True love has a way of maturing and enduring the storms of life to include marriage itself.
Without love, bitterness sets in and blinds our eyes to the hope that God will bring us through the storms, as he promised, and as we promised to each other on our vows. Bitterness hardens hearts—Love makes the heart pliable and gives Hope that there’s light beyond the storms.
So there is “faith, hope, and love” the greatest of these is Love—I Love your mother, and I Love you two with my whole heart. ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful message to your children CQL, and a very important note to share with them. It’s so important to set a good example for them. Your a great father.
How can I not reply James! I just love your inspiring insight. Every time I have gone out of my way for another, the rewards outweigh the trouble. There are some that just lack the heart that you have and yet the difference you make is equivalent to the difference that God makes. It is the God in you that can see the God in others. Hence the meaning of Namaste'.
As I was reading your message to my husband I started having what a good friend calls "a Heart-a-crack" When my heart opens up like it did, I weep. Thank you.
Never need to be sorry about a Heart-a-crack. Everyone should have one often. The hardened heart needs to soften and open. One of the most special experiences I can have. Thank you again.
Yes, unless it is hundreds of DemoCommies and RinoCommies wildly gesticulating (think Bernie Sanders, and pokawahtshername) among others - of the radical inclement
weather they (collectively) might be causing throughout the USA!
James, I hope you are keeping and categorizing your writings. They are truly nuggets of wisdom, and have been an encouragement to me, since I’ve been on Dr. Malone’s Substack.
IMO, they can be put into a book for others to enjoy. You can call it, “Nuggets of Wisdom for Life” by James Goodrich—or something like that, and I’m serious. 🙂
Thank You CQL!! You’ve been very supportive of me, even at times when I’ve doubted myself. You’ve helped me and even thinking that you appreciate and like my posts makes it worth my time putting them together. I do have most of my posts not in any specific order and at times I pass them along to other substacks when they fit, usually getting a decent response. I appreciate You CQL your a great father, husband and Christian, thank You my friend!
Thank You GMoody! It was a small thing that I hope showed them that there are honest people in America. I also hope if they are ever faced with a similar situation they may do the same for someone else.
Randall I’m not sure why, but within a fairly short amount of time I had 3 instances that I could help someone which I did. A second time I was recently renovating an old house in Foxboro. I went out to grab a tool from my truck and a car went by and a pile of papers flew off the roof of the car, the papers blew all over the place. It was across the street from where I was. For some reason my mind said it was advertisements, I don’t know why I thought that. I went back to work returning to my truck to have lunch a paper blew right up to me and hit my foot, so I looked at it. It was a scan of someone’s eye. I looked around and there were around 75 pages, I began picking them up. It appeared to be a file full of paperwork from a lady that was losing her eyesight and I think submitting it to the state to show she was legally blind, sad. There was also a photo copy of her license. So I grabbed every single page and put it all back in the file. I googled her name she lived up the street a ways and it gave me her phone number so I called her. She said she had driven back and forth to try and find the file and was very happy and relieved to get it back. I don’t know why but these two things and one other all happened in a relatively short time. Each time gave me a good feeling, a life’s boost!
When these things happen, it is indicating that you have been chosen to help make these contacts. Dannion often says, “if God couldn’t show up today and sent you instead, what difference did you make?” There it is…
We have recently the seen the fadism in medicine during wuflu but I have been bemused by it ever since Tylenol hit the bricks because they rushed to rx it for everything for everybody totally ignoring the fact that 40% of us (and I am one) get absolutely no relief from that liver toxic drug
I take low dose enteric coated aspirin every day for my two heart diseases. My cardiologist has a tough job and has improved my health. My primary physician told us to never take the covid shots, so we didn’t. Now doctors like my physician are running the health agencies. It will be very hard to turn the medical system.
Everything I have read about warfarin is BAD. Hope you can get off of it. My hubby is currently using 2 products from the Natural Heart Doctor and has been weaned off his BP pharma. His average for the past 2 months has been 130/85; he is 78 years old.
At this point I've been on warfarin without problems for years. No clots and no bleeds. My Dr wanted me to shift to Dr Nash's drug. I don't have part D and can't handle out of pocket. I wasn't positive about it for the very reasons Dr N describes. My Dr is clearly an AMA type. Not interested in our side or Natural approaches. Altho, she doesn't rain me in and looks up what I report I'm using.
The good thing about it is that it is reversible. Had a blood clot in my leg and was on Xarelto for 6 mo. It is NOT reversible and so had to be very careful. The doc said a fall off a ladder could be fatal.
Todays discussion of how acetaminophen use could be linked to autism is a perfect example of how you have to dig into the history of something to find out the link. Sure acetaminophen has been around since the 1950s but its use ramped up around the start of the autism crisis. Before then the cases were part of "backround noise". It occurred to me when I took fabric off my wife's easy chair to figure out why the right arm fell to the side. The factory (southern US, not China) had a line of staples that missed the supporting member. You don't know what went wrong until you take the time to investigate properly.
I hope no one got hurt ! My late husband told me of some stuff that goes on in furniture and upholstery companies... everything has to go fast-fast, no time to fix something that went wrong. Company he worked for has gone broke since. Probably too many loose armrests!
Look into the innocent eyes of that poor dog, no doubt framed for the cat's crimes. It's an old story of feline malfeasance, well illustrated in Disney's documentary film, "Lady and the Tramp."
a dog would NEVER do this LOLOL. Well mine would not. But there are quite some mischievous dog clips on the Tube. If you get bored one day, check those out. All innocent dogs LOL
Just ran across a post on X showing Chris Christie bloviating on RFK. This is what drives me nuts. Do these people ever LOOK IN A MIRROR? Why in gods name would I want the opinion of a man who I suspect can’t even tie his own shoes? What am I missing here? When you, Chris, are as ripped as RFK, maybe I might at least give you the time of day.
Now now, Christie has to be pretty strong. Imagine carrying around hundreds of pounds barbells that you can never put down. It takes a lot of food to maintain that level of "fitness".
Rather than his physique, I would critique Chris Kristie‘s record of bridge-closing and flip-flopping when he was aiming for the White House. Otherwise, totally agree that his opinion is not worth much.
birds are the reason I don't dry outside here in GA as well. But a clothes rack works very well, just open some windows and doors and no danger of poo !
My short line is in the garage parallel to the garage door track. I use if for small things that are prone to damage from the dryer. In TX I had a line in the bathroom over the tub. I hung cloth diapers on it.
I did a Brave search and didn't find the same narrative. Looks like someone whipped up an AI spoof. What he apparently did say was what great science he'd be able to provide going forward.
Solar dryers work well, grew up with one - one of fancier new fangled multi-wire ones; the problem in (western) Montana, least ways this time of year: your clothes will smell like forest fire smoke for a few months and every other odd year be covered with ashes.
Well, sonofagun, we might’a crossed paths - been here since ‘88 (1988, in case there was any question 😉).
Montana is def an interesting state: from the beauty and phenomena of Yellowstone to the beauty and grandeur of Glacier, the prairie of NE Montana to the SW -> NW (left slope of the northern Rockies) it’s like we’ve got it all. Negative 40, or colder, in winter to +115°F in the summer.
Me, I’m glad we arrived when we did and settled on the left slope - it’s the closest to Appalachia you’ll find - tho the resemblance isn’t THAT close.
Dr. Malone...I LOVE your Sunday Strips! Such good humor that just lightens my spirit that others share the same observations and conclusions. Keep up the good work...I hope you never stop!
Yet is it not being glossed over here and not being emphasized that in these cases the cause of autism is suggested to be acetaminophen IN ASSOCIATION WITH OR SUBSEQUENT TO VACCINATION? Blame it on the Tylenol; ignore the environment.
That video was hilarious! Yes alongside and short would be helpful especially when it is a king size bed. Not much difference between sides.
My 3 rd child had a bad reaction to a vax. I believe DTP. I was told to give him Tylenol and not to have anymore vaccines. But then my other children came along and I was told to give my child Tylenol before they came in for a vax. My 4th child has Asperger’s.
On a happy note. My son’s wife had their first baby yesterday. A precious baby girl. Her mother was diagnosed with MS and she was born 5 1/2 weeks early. So they are watching her closely in the nursery to make sure she can keep up her temperature, sugar levels . There was talk of the NICU but so far so good. I just pray they don’t allow the hep B. I gave my son the info on it. Now it is up to them. My son, we adopted him at 3 1/3 years old but we had him as a foster child for a year before that. He is a crack baby. He is half Hispanic with pitch black hair but his baby is blonde. Who would have thought that would happen. I said to my husband that when we adopted him he automatically had my genes.😉hence the blonde hair.
Our son's wife recently had twins 5 weeks early. They had a short NICU stay but are fine. My son was prepared to argue against the HEP vaccine and I was worried with preemie the hospital would argue but they were OK with that. Now he has to argue with the pediatricians!
The most troubling thing of what Secretary Kennedy shared was CDC's poor data collection about Covid 19. Purposefully not asking questions or rigorously trying to find why something is happening is not incompetence in my mind. To me, that reveals an expenditure of energy to avoid getting answers or reaching conclusions. If information doesn't exist that affects how things happen going forward, The jab formulations have been changed from what I understand. About a week ago I was talking with a likeminded person I referred to Covid 19 as a bio-weapon. They asked "Really?". I said yeah, it came out of a laboratory. They seemed a bit surprised.
Thanks for the Sunday Strip. Good memes. Why do Bernie and Liz think big Pharma is giving them money? Because they like their politics, or because they want to control their politics?
I can so relate to the "My Dad has had five wives" video. It is so funny, but so sad as well. My parents are each on their seventh marriages. My brother and I have been married to our spouses longer than either of our parents to their current spouses. My brother has been married to his wife 37 years, I've been married to my husband 27 years. I think we both learned something...
Phweeew. Trying to come to terms with this past week and what is to come, so not even the memes are getting me smiling (yet). Thank goodness the Broncos are playing this afternoon - they are Suppose to be much improved (look, a brighter horizon) this year.
The Butterfly Effect. Something I contemplate each day as I try to further the Cause of Health (in myself, my family, my community, my beloved US of A and ultimately this weary, but beautiful world). Each thought and prayer I send out in this regard, I try to make as close to 100% positive as I can, truly believing those thoughts DO create that Effect.
As he was in the hallway, about to enter the chamber of horrors, a health advocate fan of RFKJ shouted out "We love you, Bobby". Is it possible the knowledge of those believers out there in the hallway rooting for him helped Mr. Kennedy power thru that s*T show? Is it possible that at that same exact time people all over did the same. I think so.
We may not be celebrities, dignitaries, TV personalities or politicians, but we Are Mighty, we Are Important, we Have A Voice. That Voice is One and it says We Want America Healthy Again, Get Out of the Way If You Can't Understand!
I think if we consistently do the right thing as best we can things will continue to get better.

Good job, James Goodrich. You provided excellent reasoning to dispel the false belief that God is dead. We just need to look a little more carefully.

Totally agree. Every “small” flutter is extraordinary in vibration, frequency and reach.
Thank you James, this is lovely, & very moving:). Have a beautiful & Blessed Day.

This is such a great reply. I'm glad I took a moment to absorb it. Thank you so much. :-)
You can act humbly when required as necessary.
It can be redeeming for the soul.
God knows this place needs more than just a moment of silencing.
Returning that lost wallet, knowing that someone's day was about to get a lot better,

Good morning.
You're up early as always.
Someone has to wake the Rooster up! (old farm joke)
Love, love, love your thoughts!
Thank You Annette!!
Fauxahantas Warren paid big wampum to represent Big Medicine Man. The answer to Bernie’s question is yes.
I am so sad that she has sullied the name of a legend by her uncouth ways.
She can't sully the name Pocahontas. It all blows back in her face
No brainier

My Doctor (because of the warfarin?) said I could never take anything other than acetomenifin again. It does help me, but very rarely resort to it.
Can sympathize. Had to go off aspirin (which really worked) because of gout so was thrilled when Advil came out because it works for me.O
not using the chemical aspirin, just the white willow bark here. I try to avoid any chemicals.
Aspirin an excellent drug...very inexpensive, relieves pain, lowers temperature, the quick fix for a heart attack and may prevent some cancers.
I take low dose enteric coated aspirin every day for my two heart diseases. My cardiologist has a tough job and has improved my health. My primary physician told us to never take the covid shots, so we didn’t. Now doctors like my physician are running the health agencies. It will be very hard to turn the medical system.
I was taking same and all the warnings re bleeding convinced me to stop and then I got a blood clot in my leg the aspirin was likely preventing.
And if developed today would probably not be OTC, possibly not approved, because of its side effects. (Or so I’ve been told 😉)
Everything I have read about warfarin is BAD. Hope you can get off of it. My hubby is currently using 2 products from the Natural Heart Doctor and has been weaned off his BP pharma. His average for the past 2 months has been 130/85; he is 78 years old.

The good thing about it is that it is reversible. Had a blood clot in my leg and was on Xarelto for 6 mo. It is NOT reversible and so had to be very careful. The doc said a fall off a ladder could be fatal.
#1… yes, you are bought and paid for, Liz. #2. YES BERNIE….. YOU ARE ALL CORRUPT!!!!#3….correlation vs causation…..but it’s a good place to start!!!
CDC be like...
Look into the innocent eyes of that poor dog, no doubt framed for the cat's crimes. It's an old story of feline malfeasance, well illustrated in Disney's documentary film, "Lady and the Tramp."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlQYqQs0R3w
YES, ABSOLUTELY!!!😂😂😂
a dog would NEVER do this LOLOL. Well mine would not. But there are quite some mischievous dog clips on the Tube. If you get bored one day, check those out. All innocent dogs LOL
While we lack evidence of a cat, I have to admit to chuckling at your repartee.
Bet Disney used Dalmations as film "expert advisers".
Ditto
Now now, Christie has to be pretty strong. Imagine carrying around hundreds of pounds barbells that you can never put down. It takes a lot of food to maintain that level of "fitness".
Every move he makes he is weightlifting!
Rather than his physique, I would critique Chris Kristie‘s record of bridge-closing and flip-flopping when he was aiming for the White House. Otherwise, totally agree that his opinion is not worth much.
Agree, but I have found that the two (being & looking the part) can go hand in hand.
Product reliability; This 80 year-old solar clothes dryer still works!
At least until Bill Gates blocks out the sun. He clearly wants us all chafing in damp underwear. Fiend!
and the chem trail spray settles on your laundry.
Buzzard poop also a not welcome outcome of line drying in Texas.
birds are the reason I don't dry outside here in GA as well. But a clothes rack works very well, just open some windows and doors and no danger of poo !
My short line is in the garage parallel to the garage door track. I use if for small things that are prone to damage from the dryer. In TX I had a line in the bathroom over the tub. I hung cloth diapers on it.
Not to mention (his?) chem trails Fallout. Wasn't his confession at the wh dinner bizarre?
I saw that he and Zuckerberg were flanking the Trumps at table. I couldn't bear to listen in to whatever they had to say.
They hopefully cancelled out each other
I pray this was a case of President Trump, keeping his enemies close
Jean, What did Gates confess??
I did a Brave search and didn't find the same narrative. Looks like someone whipped up an AI spoof. What he apparently did say was what great science he'd be able to provide going forward.
Thanks for searching. Odd we can't find it...
I don't recall it all. Started with MS always being terrible. Went on with covid and other evils. It was incredible and minimal reactions.
That was an amazing internet spoof. Very funny.
Solar dryers work well, grew up with one - one of fancier new fangled multi-wire ones; the problem in (western) Montana, least ways this time of year: your clothes will smell like forest fire smoke for a few months and every other odd year be covered with ashes.
I visited Montana once when I was still in high school (in the 80s). Absolutely loved it.
Or...it is winter time on the West Coast...sunlight/heat in short supply.
But Tylenol makes such a quick and easy headline.
Doesn't it just?!
I don’t take the liver damaging drug
Have a great Sabboth!
Our son's wife recently had twins 5 weeks early. They had a short NICU stay but are fine. My son was prepared to argue against the HEP vaccine and I was worried with preemie the hospital would argue but they were OK with that. Now he has to argue with the pediatricians!
Yes I hope my son and daughter in law agree. I think my son would not want it.
Stay strong , new mom and dad!!!!
What is the fashion editor wearing and to which branch of the coven does she/it belong?
Thanks for the Sunday Strip. Good memes. Why do Bernie and Liz think big Pharma is giving them money? Because they like their politics, or because they want to control their politics?
I believe they only see the $$$ and could care less as to the whys.
I doubt either of them can think that deeply!
I think so.
