With this first hand knowledge Washington in his farewell address advised all future generation of Americans to treat all other nations with benevolence and to avoid foreign entanglements. Trump, who aspires to be the greatest, needs to be so wise! With the rise of petroleum as a prime energy source, the British through British Petroleum discovered and developed Iran’s oil industry. With the assistance of the United States the people of Iran have not benefitted as they should from their natural resources of oil. For this and other reasons they have good reason to greatly dislike the United States. To claim it's just 47 years of atrocities committed by Iran is very short sighted. We need to heed George Washington's sage advice and stop meddling in other countries’ affairs. The list of United States’ meddling with deleterious outcomes is very lengthy. A recent example is how we instigated the Russian invasion of Ukraine. While I like many of Trump’s accomplishments, I had hoped he would be as wise as our first President and acted to end all foreign entanglements, bring our troops home out of harm's way, particularly from the Middle East, end giving away money to other countries and pay-off our debt.

As for the war in Ukraine, I don't believe we can control that situation. God Himself has to strike Putin to Hell. I am of Ukrainian and Russian heritage, and the Ukrainians are Cossacks. We will not give up! There is no way for Trump to intervene, other than to send arms and try to hurt Putin economically. Tough call, that one.
We should have normalized relations with Russia when the wall came down. I've no doubt the average person here in the USA would get along very well with the average Russian. One thing over the years I’ve learned there are certain things we just can not accomplish on our own. For so many reasons we need each other. We can be good by ourselves but we can’t be great by ourselves. When we come together as a body of believers, united in faith, there’s something that happens that you can’t get on your own. We draw strength from each other. It’s good to worship on your own, it’s important to pray by yourself, but something happens corporately that doesn’t happen individually. This is why David said “let us magnify the Lord together”. There is power in connectivity. Your faith mixed with everybody else’s faith creates something powerful. I would argue the same power happens in the political realm. And be assured, people notice when people of faith join together and become one. The enemy, and many who have a lust for power, fear groups of faith.
There is power in connectivity. Your faith makes me stronger. Your praise is helping fight my battles. Your smile brings me joy. When we come together it’s not only refueling you but it’s helping others. Don’t think “I don’t need to come”, “I’m doing fine”. Maybe you should come to help others. We b broke into five groups, each representing a component of our internal structure. Our assignment: determine the strengths and weaknesses of our assigned area. When we re-assembled, following three hours of discussions and identifying goals, we discovered that each group independently had arrived at the same goal, and had listed the objectives/necessary steps to reach the goal: OUTREACH to the community in which we are sited! Talk about "sharing the spirit!" The excitement of going forward, I pray, will become contagious throughout the congregation as the results of yesterday's work are shared and our walk forward will bear the fruits to enlarge our ministry and family of faith. I often ask Leftists who are enamored of the DEI virus (which came directly from Lenin and especially Stalin) to articulate the sinews of that communitarian model more completely and beautifully than St. Paul did - especially in Corinthians - in his metaphor of “The Body of Christ”.

When I heard about the $5,000 I involuntarily did an eye roll. To me, it broadcasted the level of desperation Trump must be experiencing - which gives a whiff of failure. I will vote in November, not to support Trump, but to vote against open borders, wealth taxes (even if I'm not wealthy), and the Democrats' unified obstructionist behavior (which if they win, would start with impeachment).
I would call it a $5,000 gift, made possible (according to today's mailing from the White House) "by the trillions of dollars in economic development, investment, and new manufacturing activity flowing into the United States" under Trump's second term. The announcement framed the dividend as the direct return to the American people of the wealth being created by the America First economic agenda.

Remember he conditioned it upon the House and the Senate winning majorities...Because his agenda will have (hopefully) an easier time getting through Congress. IMHO, President Trump truly intends on giving some sort of monetary something to the working class who have been so screwed over by previous administrations including the recent and worst of all, the Biden admin. The reason we haven't yet had the tariff dividend is because The Supreme Court didn't allow the administration's choice of how to begin tariffs, we had to pay all the gains back. Fortunately Kavanaugh laid out other ways which are being implemented now. Big things take big time. I may be wrong, and I cant find the info now (scowl) and I'm in a hurry, but I've heard three different reports that US CITIZEN TAXPAYER MONEY WILL NOT BE USED for the dividend: (1) new tariff income, 2) money recovered from Fraud, 3) someplace that will end up being the "Sovereign Wealth Fund. I am reminded of Habakkuk 2.3, "For the vision is a witness for the appointed time, a testimony to the end; it will not disappoint. If it delays, wait for it, it will surely come, it will not be late."
I don’t recall Trump promising a DOGE or tariff refund check to each person. We all receive a refund via massive cuts in waste, fraud and abuse. That’s more money in the Treasury, less tax we have to pay. Same with the tariffs, filling our coffers with funds we did not have previously. I think most of working America deserves the $5000 check. People have been working their butts off, paying taxes for decades, only to learn that most most of it has been going to “learing” centers, Medicare and Medicaid scams, and to purchase high-end luxury vehicles for SNAP recipients. I hear a lot of ungrateful sniping and complaining about Trump, but no solutions that would yield better results.
Spot on. This is not a bribe if it applies to everyone. The only stipulation I would enforce is that it goes to only people who have filed a tax return.
I think the $5,000 is/was ill advised. If someone suggested it, they should immediately be dispatched. Should the Ds prevail, I can just see them gleefully approving it.

Our first and greatest President, George Washington, in his own time witnessed the millennia old problem of Europeans and Asians warring amongst themselves. With this first hand knowledge Washington in his farewell address advised all future generation of Americans to treat all other nations with benevolence and to avoid foreign entanglements. Trump, who aspires to be the greatest, needs to be so wise! With the rise of petroleum as a prime energy source, the British through British Petroleum discovered and developed Iran’s oil industry. With the assistance of the United States the people of Iran have not benefitted as they should from their natural resources of oil. For this and other reasons they have good reason to greatly dislike the United States. To claim it's just 47 years of atrocities committed by Iran is very short sighted. We need to heed George Washington's sage advice and stop meddling in other countries’ affairs. The list of United States’ meddling with deleterious outcomes is very lengthy. A recent example is how we instigated the Russian invasion of Ukraine. While I like many of Trump’s accomplishments, I had hoped he would be as wise as our first President and acted to end all foreign entanglements, bring our troops home out of harm's way, particularly from the Middle East, end giving away money to other countries and pay-off our debt.

As for the war in Ukraine, I don't believe we can control that situation. God Himself has to strike Putin to Hell. I am of Ukrainian and Russian heritage, and the Ukrainians are Cossacks. We will not give up! There is no way for Trump to intervene, other than to send arms and try to hurt Putin economically. Tough call, that one.
We should have normalized relations with Russia when the wall came down. I've no doubt the average person here in the USA would get along very well with the average Russian. There's lots to be mutually gained. Instead we demonize Russia and went back on our agreement to keep Ukraine as a neutral country and then we instigated a coup to overthrow Ukraine's popularly elected President and installed a comedian in his place. You and I don’t know what we don’t know on the nuke discussion we can either trust or distrust based on our own biases. If we destroyed hypothetically 80-90% of their capabilities ,drone or missile, then they’d still have a significant number to deploy. One thing over the years I’ve learned there are certain things we just can not accomplish on our own. For so many reasons we need each other. We can be good by ourselves but we can’t be great by ourselves. When we come together as a body of believers, united in faith, there’s something that happens that you can’t get on your own. We draw strength from each other. It’s good to worship on your own, it’s important to pray by yourself, but something happens corporately that doesn’t happen individually. This is why David said “let us magnify the Lord together”. There is power in connectivity. Your faith mixed with everybody else’s faith creates something powerful. I would argue the same power happens in the political realm. And be assured, people notice when people of faith join together and become one. The enemy, and many who have a lust for power, fear groups of faith.

When we come together it’s not only refueling you but it’s helping others. Don’t think “I don’t need to come”, “I’m doing fine”. Maybe you should come to help others. We all need to be around a community of faith.
I can’t tell you how many times someone has said thanks for helping me, thanks for listening. I think how many times people have listened to me. How many times people helped me through a tough time. How many positive connections I’ve made because of others.
We are living in a time where almost every week there’s a terrible tragedy. School shootings, people driving cars into innocent people, viruses that are hard to contain, floods, hurricanes. By ourselves we’re strong but together we’re unstoppable. By ourselves we’ll get through the difficulty but together we’ll come out better. When we’re in unity, connected with other believers, you will see unexpected favor. You’ll see sudden turn arounds.
Notice a tree that stands alone in a field gets ravaged by the storm, but in a forest the trees protect one another. In the forest, the roots interlock beneath the surface which creates an unbreakable, invisible shield. So when the wind blows it’s not blowing against one tree it’s blowing against thousands of trees. A tree in the forest has the strength of the whole forest.
When you’re planted in the house of the Lord your roots get connected to my roots and their roots. Before long you have a support system that cannot be shaken. When the storms come, what would’ve normally blown you over by yourself, can not, because you’re connected to others. We’re all here to stabilize you, to steady you, to encourage you. For that storm to take you out it would have to take all of us out, and that’s not possible. When we’re all connected together we can’t be defeated, together we’re powerful. Stay connected and know together in unity we are the majority, together we can’t be defeated.

Greetings from the Thumb Coast of Michigan! Yesterday, I enjoyed the privilege and the pleasure of attending a five-hour planning meeting of the church of which I am a member.
We b broke into five groups, each representing a component of our internal structure. Our assignment: determine the strengths and weaknesses of our assigned area. When we re-assembled, following three hours of discussions and identifying goals, we discovered that each group independently had arrived at the same goal, and had listed the objectives/necessary steps to reach the goal: OUTREACH to the community in which we are sited! Talk about "sharing the spirit!" The excitement of going forward, I pray, will become contagious throughout the congregation as the results of yesterday's work are shared and our walk forward will bear the fruits to enlarge our ministry and family of faith. I like to think of Trump Dividend as alternative to Dem’s bribes which will cost American people much more than $5000! Vote for Republicans like your life as you know it depends on it.
I had a discussion with a 3 time Trump voter like myself recently. My friend said he’s pissed at Trump for the Iranian conflict. I responded that I don’t have the same intelligence as the Commander in Chief, so I must trust the man we voted for to clean up the Obama Biden worldwide fiasco. I asked if he preferred the Obama Biden agreement to allow Iran a nuclear weapon and agree it’s ok Biden broke his oath to defend and protect our borders? Are you ok that Biden allowed China to navigate a spy balloon across our nation? I certainly support our President and his cabinet and fear the day the DSA has more squad members in Congress. They will tie up valuable time attempting to impeach him again. He only has 2 more years in office.
He said well, you’re right, Trump was put through hell in his first term, again when they attempted to jail him, so he’s the strongest president in my lifetime.
Will you campaign for him he asked? I will and I’ll volunteer to be a poll watcher again this year. What have you done to support our president? When I heard about the $5,000 I involuntarily did an eye roll. To me, it broadcasted the level of desperation Trump must be experiencing - which gives a whiff of failure. I will vote in November, not to support Trump, but to vote against open borders, wealth taxes (even if I'm not wealthy), and the Democrats' unified obstructionist behavior (which if they win, would start with impeachment).
I see no desperation in our President. He's smart and he's methodical.
Then why is a $5000 bribe needed? Hardly seems smart or methodical.
I would call it a $5,000 gift, made possible (according to today's mailing from the White House) "by the trillions of dollars in economic development, investment, and new manufacturing activity flowing into the United States" under Trump's second term. The announcement framed the dividend as the direct return to the American people of the wealth being created by the America First economic agenda.

A dose of reality. The polls don't show that Republicans will vote for Democrats in the midterms. They show the frustration of campaign promises kept and not kept. People saying the are not MAGA now is also an expression of that. I think people are trying to tune up President Trump and the whole administration. We all know that the Socialist Democrats of America is a soft term for Communists, and a return to the Biden years of Idiocracy, theft, and open borders.
Everyone would love an extra 5 grand, in hard times and that may stimulate the economy for a while, but, will it pay down credit card debt, mortgages, car loans. student loans??? The Covid money sent out didn't. I guess I would like to see it pull back the national debt by a Trillion and a half, and set a precedent toward reversing and eliminating as much national debt as possible. That will do more to save our economy, our future generations, and really Make America Great Again.

An extra $5000 to each adult will increase the national debt at a time when we need to be pulling in the reins. To promise money to everyone if the Republicans win at the midterms is just showing how idiotic Trump can be when he doesn't think before he speaks. For an intelligent man, he does some pretty stupid things.
Trump's ego has always been a problem. His staff have to work on reigning it in (if they can). I think a lot of his assessments about what needs to be done about securing our future have been excellent. He jeopardizes that when he speaks from his ego and his disdain for the fake media that is always trying to bring him down and at best praise him with faint damn. As this Sunday strip notes, we need to hold the republican seats to not flip the house as so often happens during midterms, even though we will be holding our noses while we vote for some of them. "Difficult things are never easy." (yogi berra I think) I like the idea of a $5,000 dividend. Just because something hasn't yet happened doesn't mean it won't. Remember he conditioned it upon the House and the Senate winning majorities...Because his agenda will have (hopefully) an easier time getting through Congress. IMHO, President Trump truly intends on giving some sort of monetary something to the working class who have been so screwed over by previous administrations including the recent and worst of all, the Biden admin. The reason we haven't yet had the tariff dividend is because The Supreme Court didn't allow the administration's choice of how to begin tariffs, we had to pay all the gains back. Fortunately Kavanaugh laid out other ways which are being implemented now. Big things take big time. I may be wrong, and I cant find the info now (scowl) and I'm in a hurry, but I've heard three different reports that US CITIZEN TAXPAYER MONEY WILL NOT BE USED for the dividend: (1) new tariff income, 2) money recovered from Fraud, 3) someplace that will end up being the "Sovereign Wealth Fund. I am reminded of Habakkuk 2.3, "For the vision is a witness for the appointed time, a testimony to the end; it will not disappoint. If it delays, wait for it, it will surely come, it will not be late."

Trump is no idiot. We need to look beneath the surface of everything he says and does.
I don’t recall Trump promising a DOGE or tariff refund check to each person. We all receive a refund via massive cuts in waste, fraud and abuse. That’s more money in the Treasury, less tax we have to pay. Same with the tariffs, filling our coffers with funds we did not have previously. I think most of working America deserves the $5000 check. People have been working their butts off, paying taxes for decades, only to learn that most most of it has been going to “learing” centers, Medicare and Medicaid scams, and to purchase high-end luxury vehicles for SNAP recipients. I hear a lot of ungrateful sniping and complaining about Trump, but no solutions that would yield better results.
Spot on. This is not a bribe if it applies to everyone. The only stipulation I would enforce is that it goes to only people who have filed a tax return.
