Their "profession" is staying on government payroll; not leadership, not problem solving, not attending the mutual interest in good faith out of concern for the common interest.
They attend for special interest; they stand for special rights for special people. The republican orthodoxy in Congress and the Senate is malignantly diseased in much the same way.
It's often worse than watching bad re-runs of The Lawrence Welk Show. Most lawyers are biologically and scientifically illiterate and too narrowly trained to function as stewards and trustees of the public interest.
The nation was carved from the wilds of the 18th Century by faithful thinkers and industrious statesmen. This is not the institutional orthodoxy of our governmental institutions today.
Trump has made everything better, but he cannot do it all by himself. And the malignancy of our culture is enraged. There is no lie they will not tell. Mere outrage and petit moralizing is no defense. We are beset with cowards when real courage is the order of the day.
:) right.. OMG.. I am not surprised.. so the New Yorkers will move to New Jersey (which is what happened) and the New Jersey dems will move to VA.. which already happened. and also North Carolina. I have not read DC Draino's response yet. but will. WOWZA..
Did you ever wonder why no democracy has ever lasted throughout history? It’s a fact, but a fact too many people do not know or even ask. Plato lamented this issue and historians like Alexander Tytler connected the dots: it’s dependency on the government - that’s why democracies never last.
An ignorant electorate votes for more free stuff – but of course, they’re not the ones paying for free stuff, so they don’t think about it or care.
So, in VA, you have 57.5% voting for more free stuff, but the other 42.3% understand that the free stuff comes out of their paycheck, and no, we don’t want that. Too bad, mob wins.
And, Jay Jones is now in charge of VA’s Dept. of Justice (DOJ) b/c 53.1% don’t care that he’s ok with violence against a political opponent. Don’t debate, just use ad hominem attacks or literally beat them up. That’s a good person to be head of the DOJ, right? Not according to 42.3% of the voters who said, no, we don’t want that. But oh well, b/c the mob rules.
Valid points but we are a Republic. Unfortunately, those voting in our representatives needed a lesson in civics and economics along about the 8th grade!
Our founders understood the dangers of democracy, so they established a constitutional republic but that does not exist anymore. And, I'd argue that in 1913, a date that should live in infamy, was the beginning of the end of our republic with the 16th and 17th Amendments, as well as establishing a private banking cartel with the Federal Reserve Act.
One of the things that needs to change is a challenging test on the US constitution for anyone serving in a government office and for anyone who wants to be an elected representative. If they can't pass the test within 6 months then they are forced to resign.
A few years ago, I met someone at the local dog park who was looking for people to back him for the House. After some conversation, I challenged him on one of his platforms, saying, "that's not authorized in the Constitution." He was surprised and said he was retired from the U.S. Navy and had taken an oath to defend and uphold the Constitution--but admitted he'd never read it. When I asked him how he could uphold and defend something he'd never read, he looked stricken, as if it had never crossed his mind before.
We needed a stronger government than that given by the Articles of Confederation. What we didn't need was an overstepping central government and States that ceded their power to that central government. If the federal government had kept to the 18 functions of government assigned it by the Constitution, we'd be a freer people. Brutus did, unfortunately, hit right on the mark.
And that's exactly why our founders didn't want a democracy, but opted for a republic. Sadly, with the passing of the 17th Amendment, and the slow encroachment of socialist program, not to mention the rhetoric since the early twentieth century about "democracy, democracy, democracy", we are now beset by the actuality of functioning more like a democracy than a republic, with all its attendant problems. Gone are the days when a member of Congress like Davy Crocket would say Congress lacks the constitutional power to do something. Too many people know neither the difference between a democracy and a republic, nor the cure for an overstepping government..
The historical pathology is "democide." It's more deeply rooted in human sociobiology than we commonly appreciate. Genocide is terrible, but its institutionalization and systemization as Democide is the most malignant form.
Dr. Rummel's scholarship is still online. He passed in 2014.
Read it and weep. If this was taught, marxism and similar conceits would lose their allure.
The frightening inference: Can human societies function at scale without the cleansing realities of cyclic major episodes of war between competing governments?
Who wants to quote a nazi? But Hermann Goering said it best:
“Why of course the people don't want war. Why should some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally the common people don't want war neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship.
Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”
And Thomas Jeffereson argued that periodic uprisings were essential to warn rulers that the people retained the spirit of resistance, which was vital for preserving liberty.
UNREAL. JAY JONES.. so it is ok "Text ouloud" about the death of the GOP House speaker..
So who are the terrorists. How about all those bomb threats into RED Polling areas in New Jersey. We watched NewMax... which reported on the scroll other news. WHEW!
I will continue to vote, but I no longer believe that there will be lasting change in our country. Too many people are immoral, irresponsible and entitled. This quote from John Adams expresses our dilemma: "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." Our only hope is changed hearts.
And a changed heart only comes from a genuine change of mind and heart about God and his Son, Jesus. Salvation from sin is an individual act between God and man, but that change of heart ripples throughout our society through stable families, and ultimately our government. May God have mercy on His people.
First, the truly prescient Daniel Jupp has observed:
Because the people in New York are no longer Americans either.
Because since 9/11 Democrats in New York have welcomed millions upon millions of foreign arrivals, who have increasingly replaced the American born population. The five boroughs don’t have an American population. They gave a foreign born, mass immigration, never asked to integrate population, including of course many Muslims whose primary loyalty is to Islam and who automatically vote for an Islamic candidate on the understanding that he, in turn, will grant primacy in that place TO Islam.
The polling was very clear. Mamdani’s main support comes from first generation immigrants. These outnumber New York’s celebrities and airheaded Democrat luvvies. They outnumber student youth out for a freebie. They outnumber self hating Reform and Democrat New York Jews who campaigned for a global intifada candidate. Without recent mass immigration and the replacement of white Americans born in the USA with not white recent Americans born outside the USA, Mamdani would have lost." This was all part of the "open borders" plan and it is in the DNA of the DNC. Anti-American to its core.
Second, in Virginia, a vile reptile who called for the murder of children was elected that state's chief law enforcement officer. Ponder that long and hard. Democrats voted to install as their Attorney General a man who unrepentently called for murder of children of a political opponent. Such people are not only without any morals or scruples save a thirst for power. But they are devoid utterly of any notion of humanity or justice. The notion of them as a "loyal opposition" is laughable.
One can only hope. And hope, too, that a hero such as Skanderbeg or Vlad the Impaler will arise to lead Christendom to defeat the slavish and murderous followers of the Satanic Verses.
Remember Spain was conquered but ultimately expelled. The Mongol horde (by that time mainly Muslim) were repelled at the gates of Vienna and pushed back. The world is littered with the ruins of failed empires. Will we be one?
Ozymandias
Percy Bysshe Shelley
I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: “Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert . . . Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed:
The Reconquista took 700 years. The Islamists came in as a conquering force, wresting dominion from those who were already there. The Islamist today are not wresting dominion by force but by integration, subverting the culture and the government. Unless the weak minded and godless (here, there, everywhere) realize they are in the midst of a new modern invasion and repel the invaders, all,of them, they will lose 2,000 years of history and freedoms.
Not only is "not much being done", many European countries and increasingly South American too continue to open their arms and their pocket books to muslims from every muslim country with an emphasis on young males of fighting age. What could be the rationale for this agenda?
I live in upstate NY. I share your belief that the majority of the voters in NYC 8+ million residents are immigrants. They will vote to change the government they came to and make it like the one they came from.
Well, it seems like so many Democrats flee shithole cities and states and go to the much better Red states and then continue their old voting patterns. Hard to figure out their logic.
Exactly my point, The free public transportation riles me when they charge us drivers all kinds of fees and taxes to use roads, buy gas, register and inspect our cars. And that is all paid for by after tax dollars.
My property taxes are another thing they avoid by rent control. I own my home but have to rent it back with the thousands of dollars each year in school and town and county real estate taxes. It is an endless cycle of opening my tax bill to see an increase not only in the tax but in my property value to get more.
Then the concept of city owned grocery stores will be run by who? Civil service or some kind of public employees getting a to retire at 55 yo retirement system that means they will retire and that goes on to drive up the taxes too.
They steal the water from the Catskills and power is generated upstate, garbage is hauled upstate to land fills . I am so tired after 72 yrs in this state of the lies about the "Big g*d dam*ed Apple"!
Many of us upstate people see NYC for what it is and it should be a separate state with it paying for its needs or failing on its own . It is a big toilet that needs flushing!
Meanwhile I daily see what I call the Back Pack People in Cortland County who we all know are illegals being sent up state because sanctuary NYC has more than they can handle.
"Because the people in New York are no longer Americans either."
That's a very good point. The last time I visited New York was about 1979. I remember thinking it was a fascinating, wild place and how almost "foreign" so many areas of the city seemed. And that was 46 years ago! I can't imagine what it must be like now with all the massive influx of foreign invaders everywhere. It sounds l like half of Mandami's voters were not native born Americans.
What worries me is the fact that Muslims are taking hold in America, one city at a time. These people have declared, openly, that they will take over and control our country. It’s happening! They have destroyed England already. America is being lost, one city at a time. Our Republican Party has still been putting up barriers to Trump’s agenda since he was inaugurated. The Democrat Party has just given in to the Muslim Communists. How can we regular, insignificant folks fight for our country? The apathy I encounter is frightful when I speak to my acquaintances and friends and family. They are already tired of “fighting”. My own son and brother have embraced the lies and manipulative agenda of the “other” side, be it Democrat or Communist Muslim. I am more disheartened today than after Biden stole the election. I love my country and weep for her today. Again.
We have Omar Fateh blatantly waving the Somali flag and speaking in Somali along with Ilhan. The money fraud and crime is large and small and the people think nothing of this? We're going down while the libs drink the poison.
People are too caught up in virtue signaling how tolerant they are and patting themselves on the back for it. They need to wake up and learn about Islam because these people "are not like us". All the brainwashed twits of both parties do is drone on and on about how "most Muslims are good and tolerant people." Wrong. People who are observing Muslims will believe in vile disgusting things that most of these virtue signalers can't even imagine. It's in the Quran and the Hadiths of Mohammed, plain as day. The Muslims proclaim it openly and clearly, but the problem is that the West isn't really listening or don't take it seriously. Muslims believe that Allah ordered them to make the whole world Muslim (actually, it's about bringing everyone back to Islam because they believe everyone is and should be Muslim), and those who don't convert are to be killed. They used to make exception for the followers of the Abrahamic religions (Jews & Christian), who had to pay a Jizyah tax for protections and to be allowed to worship their own religions. Today's radical Islamists don't even bother with Jizyah any more. They see it as their mission to eliminate all non-Muslims who won't convert. It's plain and simple to see what they are doing if you actually take a hard look at what is going on.
Zuhdi Jasser is a Muslim American Wirth listening to. He talks about how desperately Islam needs to be reformed as it is still operating in the 7th century. He's a good man and I wish he could be heard by most Americans.
NYC is in for a surprise and the election of this guy might be a good thing for the rest of the country, because 3 years of failed policy will be clear for all to see. AOC is the likely Dem candidate in '28, which is no laughing matter, because if 48% of the electorate can plan to vote for a vegetable, what if you put in a woman who can actually put two coherent sentences together and preach taxing the rich and giving away free stuff to the masses. Spiritual revival precedes a political solution. That's why I like the moniker, "The Charlie Kirk Midterms" because it touches both bases at the same time.
Don’t overlook the amount of money that will be “invested” to make socialist policies look good. The people who voted for him would have to be really inconvenienced to change their views. I don’t see tptb letting it happen.
Yes, "investing" for socialists is another case of degradation of language to further the ulterior motives of propaganda and control. However, I fear the amount of money that can be laundered through crypto and other avenues will dwarf the dollars that will be visible. In the fight for our survival, the outcome is still in doubt.
Newsom....a more reptilian, repugnant, pathetic excuse for a male there has never been. I am continually revolted by hearing his voice or seeing his face.
Was just thinking what a race between Doofus and AOC would be like. Probably a race to the bottom with the loser ending up as the vp candidate. God help us.
No matter how horrendous such a debate would undoubtedly be, we all know the deranged Democrats would vote for one of them enthusiastically. The same sorts who excitedly voted for Harris.
Uri Bezemov. You Tube interview on Beria's weaponization of "demoralization" of a targeted adversary society and its government.
Charlotte Iserbyt is another worthy YT deep dive.
Anything by John Taylor Gatto. Our institutions are septic. We need to attend the sepsis and heal, or we will succumb to the malignancy that stalks us.
I agree that we shouldn’t be surprised of Democrat candidates winning in deep blue Democrat states. It’s gotten to the point within these Democrat states where Democrat candidates can basically say anything they want as Jay Jones did. Can you imagine saying you not only want your political opponent shot to death but his children to be murdered in the arms of their mother. How sick can you be to vote for a person who not only thinks this way but text it and said it in phone conversations.
One point if I may raise about Mamdani. Mamdani a radical Muslim communist will be the mayor of New York City at the gathering for the 25th anniversary of 9/11, this as we all know where radical Muslims murdered 3000 Americans when they took down the towers. What about never forget have New Yorkers forgotten. Mamdani and his father hate America and its ideals. History shows New York City will now always be a communist city unless it is taken back by force. Communism is like cancer, once it takes hold you need chemotherapy and radiation to rid yourself of it. Mamdani is cancer.
It is predicted that one million people will flee New York, all of who pay for all that free stuff.
James, sadly 😥 it will only be the people of means who will be able to flee.
In the meantime, the Jihadist Muslim wing who will ALWAYS vote for a Muslim will use the RAT 🐀 party and the Black ⚫️ constituents of their party who will ALWAYS vote 🗳 for the candidates with a "D" next to their name to totally keep winning more and more elections ‼️‼️
It is sad that people without means will and have been stuck living under the powers that be. Mamdani’s speech last night had Obama written all over it. I think this may just be a stepping stone for him.
Ana, I couldn’t bear to watch any more news after they called Virginia for the Marxists within an hour of the polls closing. Sounds like I did the right thing and just shut it off!
Debra, there was a Muslim man who was a reporter on NBC I believe that got fired for being so radical. He was at Mamdani’s celebration and went up to a man calling him my brother with a raised hand. The guy he was talking to was the student at Columbia University that organized all of the pro Palestine protests anti Israel, the one Marco Rubio wanted to throw out of the country. The Muslim guy said he voted 5 times for Mamdani. Well the university organizer is not a citizen and has no right to vote at all.
I fear for America there was a large group of young white women at Mamdani’s election celebration chanting “F’n bring on sharia law, F’n bring on sharia law, F’b bring on sharia law”, over and over again. Do they not understand what they are asking for? Are they that insane?
James - this is a very good article by Attorney Bobbie Anne Cox that pretty much spells out what can be expected with Mamdani as Mayor of NYC..https://open.substack.com/pub/attorneycox/p/buckle-up-america-you-aint-seen-nothin?utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=email. Also, in an article from Twitchy (unable to provide a link), 84% of women aged 18-29 voted for Mamdani, predominantly college-educated. (college brain-washed would be a better description). And apparently, 83% of Mamdani voters have lived in NYC for 5-yrs. or less, according to this same article. In fact, it seems that women in this age group were largely responsible for the election results in not just NYC, but NJ & VA too. Sigh....
I have heard that. It’s very difficult, for me, to understand. My sister has the same mind set though she’s a lot older. I was watching Erika Kirk on Jesse Waters last night, which is difficult for me to watch, and I was thinking how much my sister hates her. I do love my sister, but I don’t know where she comes from. My two brothers, the older deceased, were or are very conservative and patriotic. It’s incredible how little people value their own country, America, and how much they take it for granted. This creeping Obamaism is going to really bite us soon.
That's not even what happened on 9/11. So not only are the mindless New Yorkers unconcerned about a very important event that happened in their city, but most of the rest of us also have our facts wrong. Start with the collapse of Building Seven (if you don't want to rely on more esoteric information sources) and work your way back.
This is not to say that putting Mamdani in as mayor (likely another move planned by local or global elites and not by any Muslim "uprising") will not have dangerous consequences. But anyone who has watched SNL or Seinfeld knows that New York has been heading in this direction for decades.
This election cycle doesn’t bode well for 2026. The Doc was right. The republicans haven’t done shit to back up Trump and his agenda. They have the majority in the house and senate and not one major piece of legislation has been passed. The Republicans are doing what they always do. They snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory. What this really shows is how corrupt our govt really is. We voted to stop the Marxist left that is marching into our lives and they have done nothing but offer talk about and just delaying its progress for what now will be another year. If they gain the house in the next election we can look forward to another impeachment and Trump being a lame duck for his final 2 years in office. Nothing will have changed. It might be time to look at beach property on an island somewhere.
Though Sherrill won in NJ, the trend I see is moving in the direction of Conservatives. In the last election for governor, it was not a runaway for Murphy. Chiarelli gave him a run for his money. In this election, it was very much a dead heat until the final results. The problem in NJ is that the cities, such as Paterson, Camden, & Newark, tip the scales in favor of the Democrats. They have gotten very accustomed & comfortable with state subsidies & entitlements. The way the trend is going, I expect to see a Republican governor in the next election. Especially since Sherrill plans to continue pushing Murphy's energy policies, including the abhorrent off-shore wind farms that are killing marine life, whales especially. NYC now has a communist for mayor. I expect to see the further degradation of an already beleaguered city. Cuomo should be sleeping with the fishes after what he did to elderly nursing home residents during covid. Instead, he ends up as a spoiler on the ballot. Curtis Sliwa has been fighting for New Yorkers for decades, & would have been an excellent choice. Virginia Republicans, with the deep blue counties close to D.C. tipping the scales, do not have a prayer in most elections. California is not just irretrievably blue, it is cyanotic. All of the oxygen has been sucked out of it for many decades. It is a brain-dead state.
Maybe the USA needs a major split. Break states up where hard working, conscientious people can form new governments. The good people have to pay for the lazy and entitled.
The Vietnamese came here and worked hard but we have been flooded with trash.
I have been saying precisely this for many years. The divide is just too great to bridge at this point. Logistically, I'm not sure how we would achieve this, but we simply cannot proceed on this path.
"The way the trend is going, I expect to see a Republican governor in the next election."
Don't hold your breath.
IMHO, the reason FL is a bright red state is because people from the NYC tri-state area who had the means to do so have picked up and moved out; they're not coming back.
The long-term trend has been from north to south for some time now. (When Mercedes-Benz USA pulled its headquarters out of Montvale NJ and moved to Atlanta GA, the CEO made it clear that over the long-term, they saw their future in GA.)
chiArelli gave opponents a "run for their money" 3x already! r u serious!?! WE DON'T WANT A RUNNING BACK. elections r RIGGED AND repub and undeclared independent PEEPS DIDN'T VOTE!
APATHY...that's right APATHY JUST WELCOMED COMMUNISM MARXISM..>> the same by ANY NAME.
In recent years, I have made contributions to a handful of Republican candidates whom I consider (or considered) worthy of their office. In doing so, I opened the floodgates on e-mail and text solicitations from GOP candidates from every quarter, evidently for all of eternity.
The Winsome Sears campaign. They, and/or fraudsters pretending to be them, texted and texted and texted in solicitation of my support. Did I wish to stop receiving these messages? Type STOP in reply. Okay.
But no worries. They'll just send a similar solicitation from one of the dozens of other phone numbers that they have adopted for their purposes.
I have already set my phone so that it does NOT ping unless it recognizes the sender, but still unrecognized senders are logged in the unknown senders inbox. What the "legitimate" campaign senders (if there are such) evidently fail to recognize is that, on my end, the texts with links I am asked to click on blindly are INDISTINGUISHABLE from potentially fraudulent ones.
How much do we think tele-fraud, especially from overseas origins, is costing credulous Americans each year? Billions? Tens of billions? More?
Have I seen any big moves from the GOP to protect Americans from being swindled? I haven't. Excepting a few heroic souls whom I still admire, I still struggle with the idea that the GOP is just a slightly more palatable dish of the same slop.
The Sears campaign was never going to inspire me or win my support by harassing me incessantly.
Oh yes, James! The endless texts!! I got so tired of Sears multiple texts per hour that it affected my feelings for her and even I know she probably had no idea!
Oddly enough today, November 5th I have not received a single text. Wow, it’s nice to have my phone back to normal.
Yesterday I received at least 20, some from Miyares, Sears, Youngkin, a myriad of conservative groups and even Spanberger requesting my vote.
My husband said, we survived the Dems before we finally got a common sense Governor Youngkin, so we will survive the socialist Spanberger, the Muslim lady they elected as Lt Governor and psycho atty gen, Jay Jones.
Then he says, So, when do you want to move to a red state? I’m ready as it’s time to retire and go where I’m in the majority. Florida does sound nice.
I doubt we get more than one legit phone call on our land line per month. WE never answer unless we know the caller. My cell is much better because I don't give out that number often and I block scamy or appeals for donations numbers. When I have given to campaigns I ask do not sell or share my information. If the do I never donate again. Same with charities. I gave to one 4 years ago that I thought was a worthy cause (same do not share message) I to date have received mail fro 73 charities and many multiple times. I am done with them all.
Same here on the land line. A few years ago, I found the option in a submenu to turn off the ringer. Why didn’t I do that sooner?! I would’ve spared myself numerous volcanic eruptions on obvious scammers. I was wasting my breath; they couldn’t care less.
I guess I’m slow on the uptake. For years, I thought I was getting calls from my local cable provider, despite my repeated requests that they put me on their “no call” list. Maybe some were legit, but I eventually woke up to the likelihood that most were not. I had registered a complaint with my state’s public utilities commission against the cable company, when the cable company probably had nothing to do with it.
We only have the phone because my wife is hard of hearing and can deal with a phone better than a cell phone. Progress? We no longer have phone books, ostensibly for privacy sake, but anyone can spoof scam calls from anywhere using multiple phone numbers. We even got one using our hair salon's number. We answered because we thought she had to cancel an upcoming appt. Now it all seems to be done by AIs
I never use my real number when signing up for anything. I use my number with a few changes, 1212 or such, so, it's easy to remember. Plugging in my fake number works fine too, when I'm asked to enter 'my phone number' to get my grocery store or CVS member discounts. Ditto too for reserving a car, or other seemingly more important sites.
Same here, all while Ms. Winsome couldn't be bothered to show up in my county or be interviewed on the local conservative radio station because she knew we would vote for her regardless. I resent the assumption. Her pastor-clown of a campaign manager was an absolute joke, too, and she fired him way too late. There must have been another Youngkin in the wings somewhere? Too late now. The proposed constitutional amendments will choke us (abortion, redistricting, and transgender blah-blah, etc.), right after they come for our guns.
We need real prayer by a lot more people, otherwise, Isaiah will be talking to us: "Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower.,.."
Saw a blurb today saying the "average" voter may have turned from Trumps messaging because he spent so much time on the middle east and not on THEM. Which, if so, tells me this "average" voter is a fickle, spoiled brat grabbing the next carrot swung from a stick under his nose. But what else can you expect from an education apparatus stolen by the progressives a century ago? We are heading for burnt toast status.
The Democratic Party is interested in one thing, power, not doing what is right or best for our Republic. In fact, their policies destroys families, unborn children, and our economy—the must destructive political party in history—and they have the tenacity to fulfill every godless policy no matter the cost.
The GOP has a temporary majority, and MUST pass lasting laws that will protect our Republic in the next year—one year left! But I do not see any fire under there butts. I’ve always said that the GOP does not know how to lead when they are in the majority. So far I’m correct, and that’s a sickening thought.
The Dems will be twice the children of hell if they regain power—it’s in their DNA—and conservatives across the nation will be their targets.
QUESTION TO THE GOP
Is our nation and children worth your ALL OUT effort to build a solid foundation to withstand this Marxist/Leftist frontal attack, or are we but pawns in a political game?
The GOP will not likely be our savior. They have been playing along with the Democrats for a very long time. In some ways, their roles have switched, as now Corporate heavily favors "the Left." But the corporate agenda, which is probably the one we are really on (neither Left or Right in any traditional sense) moves forward, steamrolling even Trump - or so it seems - who at one time seemed to be its worse nightmare. Corporate has the resources and time to get its way regardless of the petty ideological struggles of those who think they can make a difference with Politics; they can't.
The below is what I consider to be the key take away:
"The scary reality is that most of Trump’s wins have been by executive action; Congress has yet to back up his tour de force with any meaningful legislation. If 2028 doesn’t yield a Republican president, all of Trump’s gains can be lost with the stroke of a pen on January 20th, 2028."
I agree, but would put it in a more active, hopeful perspective. We are not just bystanders. And 2026 is critical. Yes, Congress has not backed up the President and that is a big problem. And it's not just the big money lobbyists that are the problem, though much could be said about that. There is a serious ideological block that has to be overcome with many of them. We can win an overwhelming victory in 2026, but the population must see real improvements in their lives. They are going to see improvements in our cleaned up cities. The big magilla is the economy. Trump and his team, Scott Bessent at Treasury, Howard Lutnick at Commerce, Chris Wright at Energy, etc., are working to dramatically reshape the U.S. economy away from the Wall St. dominated, financialized, speculative bubble of free trade and globalization. This means reshoring manufacturing. This means building hundreds and hundreds of power plants, thousands of modern factories, and training a million or two highly skilled electricians, machinists, welders, etc. This won't happen overnight, but it is moving forward rapidly. If people see enough progress, especially with millions of new construction jobs by the middle of next year, this will have a big impact on the mood of the country. People need to have this vision, as Trump does, and talk to their local representatives to get behind it! I recommend following the website prometheanaction.com for more direction.
Hmmm, no wonder there is the huge push to log our old growth forests - all those thousands and thousands of power plants and factories will need to be build somewhere, and our farmlands alone aren't sufficient to handle it all.
These are really scary times for our nation. In 2028, we will either keep our constitutional Republic or lose it. Republicans gotta keep stepping up and vote. If we do not, we will lose our great Republic.
Yes, but revival needs precede a political solution. Unfortunately, many of our churches are now entertainment hubs rather than preachers of humility and grace. And what of righteousness?
The complacency of the Republican Congress is concerning. And being outspent can be an issue, especially if it is a candidate running in a blue state! I do feel demoralized somewhat. Knowing the present status of violence normalized in media, where stories that humanize the victims of political violence are not told, or they are propagandized as being “deserved”. I still think we can right this ship, but we need to hav a pipeline of excellent candidates who are well funded. Patriotism has never been more important.
Like the vast system of labor camps and prisons that arose after the Bolsheviks seized power in Russia in 1917, I fear the illogical soft-on-crime, open border, America last policies of the Left are a precursor to a desire to lock up more Republican sympathizers in order to create a Blue “utopia” America, where it’s already a given that the Left will not reach across the isle unless treated like an adolescent who wants the family car. Looking at Illinois and Pritzger’s leadership is an example. The mass formation psychosis has solidified into winning at any cast to the future of future generations of Americans. 😔
The feds will need to supercharge their vigilance meter to detect foreign money coming in to NYC and Minneapolis and California and Illinois and all over the country. Not sure who is the bigger enemy, the CCP or the Islamic horde, but each can sense a weakness, and unfortunately there's a lot of weakness to sense.
A CIA agent in VA & a communist in NYC. What could possibly go wrong? ;)
Don't forget Slotkin.
Did Slotkin even win? Or was this just another installation by the Democrats?
Are they any different anymore? Seems like they have the same goals.
:) right..
History has shown us that no democracy lasts:
https://lizlasorte.substack.com/p/history-tells-us-that-democracies?r=76q58
I believe it.
Should be part of basic training. It’s not that long.
Furthermore, we did not listen to Brutus (aka Robert Yates) who warned us of all the problems that happen when establishing a centralized federal government: https://lizlasorte.substack.com/p/get-in-the-ring-alexander-hamilton?r=76q58
But “We are a Republic, if you can keep it.”
And we didn't keep it.
He passed in 2014.
https://www.hawaii.edu/powerkills/20TH.HTM
Read it and weep. If this was taught, marxism and similar conceits would lose their allure.
The frightening inference: Can human societies function at scale without the cleansing realities of cyclic major episodes of war between competing governments?
Nations don't go to war. Governments do.
Thank you. That's scary stuff.
WHEW!
https://youtu.be/f9rCUQjmkxU?si=YemIX9bm-2kkiE_p CAKE.. singing I will survive.
I absolutely agree 👍.
The church ⛪️ needs to step up to help drive home the need to a moral population ‼️‼️
And a changed heart only comes from a genuine change of mind and heart about God and his Son, Jesus. Salvation from sin is an individual act between God and man, but that change of heart ripples throughout our society through stable families, and ultimately our government. May God have mercy on His people.
Yes, exactly, ComeQuicklyLord! Your "name" also becomes a plea in this sentence.
Two things to consider:
Watching Mamdani's speech last night made me thankful that I'm old. Everything you have said is spot on. It makes my soul weep.
I couldn’t watch it
What is most disturbing is that once Islam conquers a land, THEY will NEVER give it back WITHOUT the shedding of blood, sweat and tears 😢 ‼️‼️‼️
🤷🏻♂️🤷🤷♀️
Or self implodes via corruption ala the ottoman empire
And on the pedestal these words appear:
‘My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!’
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.”
I’ve been calling it Reconquista 2.0
Right. Everyone knows it but apart from Trump and a few East European countries not much is being done about it.
Not only is "not much being done", many European countries and increasingly South American too continue to open their arms and their pocket books to muslims from every muslim country with an emphasis on young males of fighting age. What could be the rationale for this agenda?
Taking down the Western hemisphere?
None dare call it treason?
reading that gave goosebumps. yeah.. first there is only one King of Kings. and it aint whats his face.. narcissism and arrogance are deapseated..
https://youtube.com/shorts/Tx8NexeN_z0?si=gV3JHvEBqCb6Fcet YOU ARE JUST MAN.. it is said: Marcus Aurelius had a "whisperer" you are just a man.. also.. in Shakespeare..
I live in upstate NY. I share your belief that the majority of the voters in NYC 8+ million residents are immigrants. They will vote to change the government they came to and make it like the one they came from.
Even though the reason they came here was that the places they came from were shitholes. Makes perfect sense, doesn't it?
Too bad more people don't understand that.
I'll second your recommendation of Daniel Jupp's very clear-sighted article on the Mamdani win.
https://jupplandia.substack.com/p/the-fall-and-rise-of-the-democratic?utm_source=substack&publication_id=1761987&post_id=178061178&utm_medium=email&utm_content=share&utm_campaign=email-share&triggerShare=true&isFreemail=false&r=8t0c1&triedRedirect=true
Ah I hit a paywall.
Whoops! I messed up on some of the dates but they’re corrected in the article
100% agree. I have a daughter that has also “fallen”.
I have given up regarding the IQ/intelligence of people. The majority of humans are gullible, self serving.
I don't know...it's pretty bad in Commifornia and our idiot lowlife governor thinks he should be president.
🤷♀️🤷🤷🏻♂️
It is sad that people without means will and have been stuck living under the powers that be. Mamdani’s speech last night had Obama written all over it. I think this may just be a stepping stone for him.
That speech was ominous.
Ana, I couldn’t bear to watch any more news after they called Virginia for the Marxists within an hour of the polls closing. Sounds like I did the right thing and just shut it off!
GMoody, did you notice that his election was called 6 minutes after the polls closed 🙄 ‼️⁉️‼️🤷♀️🤷🤷🏻♂️
IMHO, since they don't have any voter ID verification, 🙄 I very much suspect that there was massive fraud and cheating ‼️
Not realizing that ultimately they are voting to live in bread lines in their worker's utopia they are being promised.
Perfectly said James! A real travesty! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Not sure if you saw the TikToc video where one young man bragged that he voted 6-times for Mamdani . It can be seen on this substack. He is the one with the red hair & the black eye glasses. How many more like him voted multiple times?...https://open.substack.com/pub/2ndsmartestguyintheworld/p/islamocommunism-wins-the-nyc-mayor?utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=email
I suspect, James, that this occurred with impunity all day long on Election Day, with like-minded individuals. They have no shame.
"California is not just irretrievably blue, it is cyanotic. All of the oxygen has been sucked out of it for many decades. It is a brain-dead state."
Yep.
Thanks for this, James. The endless texts I’ve gotten have been a daily menace!
Same… ALLLLLL the texts yesterday! A little late, eh?
I set my phone to screen calls and those not in my contacts, goes straight to unknown folder.
Thank you for the astute analysis. I was hopeful that things would favor logic in these races, but I see they had nothing to do with that!
I'm afraid it's nearly impossible to overturn a generation of brainwashing by higher ed...
:( Prayers are all we have left!
Such a good comment!!!
AOC secretly agrees, as I do openly.
As I said above, I'm in LOCDS at the moment.
Inactive/ineffective congressmen, no matter which party, do not inspire voters to vote for them.
