But I am convinced that our own country's financial elites are not at heart patriots. And they use "emergencies" as modus operandi in my estimation.

While I appreciate the goals that the international monetary interests are pursuing, I remain very concerned about the direction their perceived interests may take as relates to the 'little guys' (be they banks or individuals). You have well described critical concerns. I've been noting articles portraying substantial debanking activities.
I well appreciate your recommendations for a more widespread knowledge of these issues and ramifications, as well as the need to spur relevent reviews to effect action.
Recognising, on the other hand, the power of money and hubris of the elite towards the little guys, I remain worried. I would wonder about the merits, on a national basis, of developing a backup system. A system that offers small banks, businesses and persons at least a bridge safe harbor.
