How the heck do you keep up on all this???

Creativity of man just gets more complicated as we go! Nixon went to China and invited their brightest and smartest kids to come to America for a university education. It certainly paid off for China and at the same time we are not producing the best and the brightest as we should in the USA..

Those who embraced the George Floyd model had a loud microphone for a very long time. That tide is turning toward merit. We elders can encourage the youngers to embrace the future in science. Dr. Malone’s substack inspires us to do that. Thank you Dr(s) Malone.

I’m surprised by how much of this article I could actually follow and understand! Maybe it’s simply just the author/teacher writing this succinctly. 😉 Thanks Drs Malone! It certainly has been a very busy day.

Gotta say this: While at times it can be discouraging to realize how dumb I feel compared to you two, I am much smarter for reading your columns. Thank you for making complex subjects interesting and understandable.

thanks for the kind words, and for being willing to follow along

Robert, Best job I have seen anyone do in making this easy to understand. It is important but the trajectory is still unascertainable...remember when the genome was decoded and all cures to everything would happen in the next decade or two? There are those who believe that quantum repeaters are much farther away then 10 years if they come at all (there are physics problems there as you point out). IN any case, beautiful piece and a subject about which everyone should know something.

Your explanations made the concept more understandable for me, though how it all is done remains in the realm of magic. With all technological advancements the beneficial uses and the harmful uses arise together. Brave new world? or more reckless new world.

So is this phenomenon one reason why the AI race is so intense? Yet the law of unintended consequences is still in place. What happens when AI machines use this type of communication to communicate with other machines, thus leaving John Connor and the rest of us out in the cold?

Just watched the Terminator 2 again last night. Seems more a likely outcome than AI bringing world peace.

In all of this science, where is the Divine Creator of Eternity? He must be amused as the technocrats work so feverishly to bring about the Tower of Babel once again.

I do appreciate the Dr.'s work and understanding of such technical stuff and am amazed that they keep their feet on the ground at the homestead. For me, I took the day offline yesterday and feel so much better. I am of the Dr.'s age and think I liked it better when this was just science fiction. I can do without it. Got a full set of the comedy series "Get Smart" and started watching yesterday. Ah, much simpler times...

I remember seeing my last steam engine and first diesel locomotive, not realizing as a young lad what that meant. The '50s; as a kid, one doesn't have perspective. Then the '60s. And it's been downhill since. The Church had its problems back then, but nothing like today. We get away from reading the Bible at our peril, and having sown the wind... We had 48% of our country planning to vote for a vegetable for president. What does that say about our mental and psychological health? Our spiritual health?

No, I agree with Dr. Malone's view, that someone on our side needs to keep up with this technology, yet I think it is inherently prone to domination by the forces of darkness and I'm not playing. I am not on social media, have a flip phone and clearly remember a time when I could believe my eyes. Past history, now.

In answer to the basic question, "Is man basically good or basically evil?" the answer is both, created in the likeness and image of God but corrupted by sin. Not a popular view today, but that doesn't make it any less true. The Founding Fathers understood it. We remain one election away from tyrants that not only don't understand it, they utterly reject it. A spiritual revival needs to precede any political solution. It's the same here as in the UK and Western Europe, although they have a bigger hill to climb.

For me, have seen so many "Honeymooners" and half-hour "Twilight Zone" episodes that they're all too familiar. Have a better appreciation for John Wayne than in my younger years. And Robert Duvall in "Lonesome Dove" was epic. The later Westerns were too cutesy for my taste, but was surprised that I liked Val Kilmer's Doc Holliday in the "Tombstone" reboot.

Articulated very well.

I concur. At one point during my youth, when most of my peers decided against learning about "computers", I also thought I didn't want anything to do with them. I sensed back then that this technology would be used for our demise.

Then, I could see the writing on the wall after converting to Christianity. My eyes were opened to the spiritual realities. I worked in the automotive industry in Flint, Michigan. General Motors started offshoring manufacturing in favor of slave labor first to Mexico, then to China. I had a background in the machine shop from my days in highschool. I reasoned that I should learn as much as I can, as fast as I can about CNC machine programming technologies if I were to survive and earn a living to support my young family. I got into an apprenticeship at the tail end of GM apprenticeship training and graduated in the top of my class as a skilled tradesman for Toolmaker. I continued in college and eventually got a degree in Industrial Technology graduating with a 4.0 GPA

I went on to work in the aerospace industry after GM sold the entire plant to China. GM also sold Buick to China and dismantled those manufacturing plants literally killing tens of thousands of well paying American jobs.

I learned things in the defense contracting business through aerospace that I would rather not know. I also helped install an inspection lab for a global startup engine plant as a joint venture with Daimler, Chrysler, Mitsubishi and Hyundai.

From there I got into training for dimensional metrology for Nikon Metrology using three dimensional CMMs and laser scanning.

Anyway, after another stint in the aerospace industry at the time COVID lockdown hit, I was considered an essential employee, but due to Covid related health issues, I was forced to work from home writing programs. The company didn't like the arrangement, so they "let me go". A week later, my programming laptop which was my personal laptop I used to work from home, literally fried! Including the display! Wow! Eye opener.

I lay low now. I only go online for limited time and never leave anything connected when I am not in control of it. This world is gone batsh*t crazy!

They can have their AI and smart cities. I don't expect I will be around much longer to deal with it. I try to warn my family and friends about Technocracy, but most think I am a kook. Oh well. There is literally no escaping it. I take it one day at a time, tell people about Jesus Christ and encourage them to accept Christ as their Savior.

Well, there’s nothing more important than that! You may never know the impact you have had simply by being faithful, disdaining the scorn, just like our Lord. And those of us who have never gotten on the AI on-ramp might be in high demand one day, if we live long enough. I worry about brain development in young people, not learning their arithmetic skills at an early age, not being able to do math shortcuts in their head, relying on machines to do their thinking and their homework, if they even have any, given the woeful state of public education today.

I was self-employed for virtually my entire adult life, construction related, but did manage to take a couple of detours to pull a BA in Government from UT-Austin and an MA in Political Science from what is now Texas State. As a Protestant, I developed a great deal of respect for Catholic Social Thought and had the privilege of spending a considerable amount of time with the late Francis Canavan, a brilliant, yet humble man, author of many books including “The Pluralist Game” and three volumes on Edmund Burke. In political theory, we Protestants are way behind the Catholics.

I too, am an object of ridicule, because I do not criticize other branches of Christianity. If one can hold to the elements of “the mystery of godliness” outlined in I Timothy, in my mind they are brother or sister to me. I think doctrine is an individual choice, a function of conscience and subject to Scriptural fidelity. “God was manifested in the flesh.” Doesn’t get any more profound than that. Except I do think the Jews get a pass as discussed in Romans, looking for the Messiah who has already come in a way they didn’t expect.

I worked with lumber for most of my career, in rather unconventional and creative ways, but later on began to use extruded aluminum shapes, mostly tube, angle and channel in our own residential greenhouse designs, with commercial passive venting systems, operable windows and all the accessories. During this period I developed an appreciation for the mastery of others in the machine shop. I was self-taught on the sheet metal brake which came in handy for flashings and specialty bent pieces although my skill level was closer to that of the novice rather than the real tinsmith. The end product, though, was of high quality, merging aesthetics with functionality. With the opportunity to do it all over again, I might have joined you in the machine shop with the 55 ton Ironworker.

Ohhhh, jeez. I feel like my head is stuffed full today. I have a fascination with this type of science which is unfortunate as I really have a hard time understanding it. I contemplate a lot about what my eyes, ears and brain make me believe is real, but my mind knows isn't.

This sounds like another one of those things I'm not going to want in life, but have no choice in the matter.

Thank you for this discussion. It is of interest, particularly as relating to the current dustup between the President and Anthropic.

i think I've followed with a very general appreciation of the mechanics and justifications.

in view of human nature and current efforts to achieve worldwide control, I personally don't see a possibility of one system available to all. Admittedly multiple systems would reduce the utility of each system in such as medical research analysis.

At least with the normal course of events I'll be long gone when such a system comes to fruition. I'm very glad folks like yourselves and maybe your boys will be here impacting developments!

As Larry Cox has stated, telepathy has been studied by most governments and is kept quiet mostly. This is important to add to the mix. What you talked about concerning your wavelength synchronicity with Jill is part of this skill. Just as with cloned animals or humans being grown artificially, there is a missing component: The Soul. Unreproducible and complete. From what I have read, there are no new Souls coming forth. Hard to prove except from sources able to tune into the Akasha.

Entirely too complex for this seasoned human to make the effort to competently understand. I simply choose my news reading within time vetted information sources. Malone News being one of a precious few. Is it Pfizer that advertises on CNN or is it the other way around ?

Fascinating info, Dr. M... If a key aspect of this astounding "technology" is satellites links in synchronous orbits around planet earth, there may be an underlying reason DJT created the U.S. SPACE FORCE - (think) search-and-destroy American Space Force "boots" equipped with laser (weapons) capable of destroying or neutralizing enemy satellites to disrupt that most important element in (all) future communications.

Robert, I am only posting on your Substack. I have been in the ER 2x and also the dentist on Friday. tooth cracked. SOOOO,, and I letting you know I am alive not well. and I have been watching the day I have waited for since 1981.. when I personally got to see our American Hostages held by Iran released! We all had a view from the balcony of the National Academy of Sciences in DC.. which faced the State Dept back entrance. One of the most amazing things I ever got to see.. working and living in DC.. SORRY ABOUT SO OFF TOPIC.. BUT WHEN I FEEL BETTER.. I will send you GROK's version of some Quantum physics. that my grandfather conjectured.. xoxo Best to Jill..

I have SOMETHING.. like stomach flu. FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I ACTUALLY 911... all electrolytes went out of my legs.. very bizarre: dehydration..still not up to par.. HUGS TO JILL and all your wonderful commentators HAPPY MIGA.. I have many PERSIAN friends.. well I used too. :)

Apparently this technology is real. But I doubt it works in the way that the technologists are explaining. On top of this, we have "real" communication, which does not involve photons at all. Its physics are not well-understood, but it is also very real. Telepathy, which is the most often-observed mode, is almost entirely a spiritual (non-physical) phenomenon. I say "almost" because the actual mechanisms remain unclear. It is poised to make any attempt at secrecy in our communications irrelevant. The only way to make a communication "secret" is to ensure that those you want to keep it secret from are not telepathic. That is what has been attempted on Earth, but unsuccessfully.

But as far as most "normal" people in today's world are concerned, "quantum encryption" will find its place and serve those best who are the most skilled at using it.
