Thegeorge floyd b.s. was not rage..it was orchestrated sedition and should have been so treated. A cop lived across from us quit and went into trucking business with his brother because of his disgust with the attitude that crap generated with John Q and the cowardly administrations who caved to the race baiting mobs

Isn’t there a backstory on the slaves that were brought to VA in 1619. Like Paul Harvey used to say let’s hear the rest of the story?

Science is Political 2.0's avatar

Yes like the Slaves were sold into Slavery by Africans and then landed in NEW YORK.

Ok they didn't land in NY. Origins: The captives were West Central Africans from the Kingdom of Ndongo and the Kongo Kingdom (present-day Angola), originally kidnapped by Portuguese forces and placed on the slave ship San Juan Bautista... and then there is KUNtA KINtes versi. ROOTs give me break already

Actually the slave brokers were of the Muslim faith and the ones who dealt with tribal chiefs. Slave importers/traders worked directly with the brokers.

An account of what occurred at Jamestown can be found in the book, "Redisccovering America" - How The National Holidays Tell An Amazing Story About Who We Are, by Scott S. Powell (2022). "The Africans introduced to Jamestown were in fact former slaves captured by an English privateer ship from Portuguese slave ships at sea, & they were traded for food & water. In that trade, the Africans were accepted by the Jamestown colonists as indentured servants, with a status equal to the English, Scottish, & Irish-born indentured servants who also came to America in this time frame. The status of indentured servants meant that freedom was granted after their indenture or bond was completed - generally a term of four to seven years". (191).

I’ll never forget on the July 4th weekend in 2020 a mob that wound up in Nancy Pelosi’s hometown of Baltimore’s little Italy tore down a 14 foot marble statue of Christopher Columbus, dragged it to the inner harbor, and rolled into the water. Pelosi said communities should decide which statues they want displayed. And said well people will do what people do. How utterly criminal that the leader of The House of Representatives would be so dismissive of mob rule, lawlessness and vandalism. This was the weakness displayed that allowed city blocks to be burnt to the ground. There was no one in that community that wanted that statue torn down, how out of touch can you be. This is what you get with communism. This is what we’ll all get if the democrats win. One of the first things communists do is erase a countries history. God help America should these people ever come back to power!

This is an extraordinarily sad and true commentary.

Here is the irony. If those who are seeking to rewrite American history had any honesty or integrity much less an interest in humanity, they would encourage a deliberate, serious exploration of world history. Placing things in a broader context would make the exceptionalism of America clear.

The Christian Egregor of this country is the World's great (and only) hope out of the current morass.

Thank you for this thoughtful essay.

I find it interesting that the "philanthropic" organizations that fund Marxist and Socialist (Communist) activities typically include Meta (Zuckerberg), Open Society Foundations (Soros), Rockefeller, and many of the poison "Ivy League" institutions.

Amen! Happy Columbus Day! Can you image what life would be like today if exploration was never allowed?

These cowardly progressive leftist “Monday morning quarterbacks” condemning our hero’s using “rose colored glasses” shading of today’s standards

to judge brave men of vision and conviction who had to overcome insurmountable odds and objection to make monumental strides in human advancements make me sick.

I’m not surprised that there are some small minded people who think this way, but it amazes me there are SO many who agree with the insanity. HAPPY COLUMBUS DAY!!!

I am a Pre-boomer, and lived what was taught, when are schools were Great, SLP MN. had some of the best school's in the country! Now the DSA, hates the USA! I'm so glad, this is my Grand-daughters last year in this corrupt DSA education system! But, just check and see who has owned and control the school BOOKS, unto what we have today. I'm guessing ZIONIST'S prove me wrong !

Please look into PrometheanAction historical worldview. and read Richard Poe's 2024 'How the British Invented Communism (And Blamed It On the Jews).' It peels away many layer of 'grime' and revision. It gets above the Left vs Right or Capitalist vs Socialist. Much bigger and DEEPER foundation to learn.

I read last a week a summary of 'Zionism' from 1800's. There are MANY Judaic positions, let alone all the recent fomenting by 'weirdos!' and plain Islamists. Ignore those psy-ops. Read history deeply and critically, just not the diatribes.

American education and curricula has not only been corrupted since 2020, but for over a century!!

Great post.. always chock full of stuff to comment on . I already commented on the NY TiMEs trying to smear Virginia and also changing the founding date of America w/ a stroke of the AUTO PEN..

I also want to comment again. your inclusion of PeW Question data in 2020 (peak of covid.. not that it matters. I admit what is it about 2020? which shows up over and over again. Did everyone have Covid who answered. THAT QUEstion.. let me look again: all caps for emphasis WHEN IT COMES TO GIVING RIGHTS TO BLACK PEOPLE EQUAL RIGHTS WITH WHITE PEOPLE, OUR COUNTRY HAS... and then the Graphs.. in 2020.

You know what I am going to say already. What the heck question is that?

"OUR COUNTry does not give "equal rights to black or white people".. our RIGhts are inherently granted by God and that is stated in the US Constitution via the EQUAL PROtection clause

..14th and the 15th Amendments. OK MY EYES COMPLEtely bleary now. :)

SO WHO WOULD HAVE ANSWered that Question to begin w? GOOD GOING YOU JILL AND ROBert. you got em again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you. After finding my bank closed (GOOD!) I came home to my continual deep dive this YEAR reading American and Western Civilization HISTORY! When your article popped up on my phone, I interrupted my review of Robert Ingraham's 'The Modern Anglo-Dutch Empire: Its Origins, Evolution, and Anti-Human Outlook.' I was specifically trying to grasp the difference between the Platonic and Aristotelian view of 'Natural Law'.....

Thanks for sharing your American upbringing. I am so grateful that I grew up learning that I was created by God who IS love; and I am sinful. I learned a grave appreciation for the omnipotence of God, his goodness, the gift of redemption, and equally, to strive for humility, yet GREATNESS by his grace.

My maternal Grandpa's grandpa, who survived the Civil War, but lost 3 brothers init, moved in 1865 from IL to a farm E of Waterloo, IA (home of Nikole Hannah Jones, author of 1619!) Grandpa grew up in Canada, but returned to Waterloo when Mom was 2 (1929). I visited my whole life and retired to Waterloo in 2018, (my best friend was on City Council and ran for Mayor in 2022) til I moved away to be near MY grandchildren in 2023. I KNOW Waterloo, and 100's of residents, from that standpoint. It's good that we learn the real racial history of our towns. But we can have a larger worldview of what we can and should become.

Thank you for highlighting the CHANGE (and financing) in US educational worldview. In my understanding - CHANGE from Imago Dei to Marxian. [As PrometheanAction frames it: American System vs. British Empire/Globalists. ALOT is in that comparison. Thus, my deep dive historical study......] Your work is so VITAL in exposing the corruption!!

I reconnected with a childhood friend whose profession is history - Dr in History; supervised teachers in the profession. In 'retirement' he now teaches - with his son as Academic Dean - at a Christian Academy. Yesterday, after learning which school, I found on the website their '50th Anniversary: An Oral History' and read all 200+ pgs. Largely narrative quotations from staff... It included the upheaval of enduring Covid, and being in greater St Louis w/ students from Fergusson during those riots. I'm meeting him to visit the school next month.

Remember, the 1619 Project is a Marxist, Imperialist based revisionist ideology (man is a 'beast'). America's creed is man is created in image of God.....

We are in serious trouble. What are we going to do about the education propaganda that has young people so confused?

Living in what has become the blue toilet bowl of Charlottesville has been hard these past 10 years since I am a boomer who was taught Virginia History, American History and World History during my formative years. Growing up in the ‘60’s was a great time to be a child. We loved America, knew we were so fortunate to have been born American citizens. I feel sorry for kids today who are taught they’re victims if they’re black and if white they’re oppressors. We can do better than this, but we’d better hurry up! I’m getting older and want to see America shine again before my time on the planet has come to an end.

Thanks again for such a great and timely essay. I just finished reading an insightful article on Raymond Ibrahim's Substack regarding what the primary sources say about why (in his own words) Christopher Columbus embarked on his first voyage in 1492. It wasn't for personal wealth nor worldly fame! I invite you and your readers to take a look. The 1619 Project has simply verified the prescient Orwell who said "Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past."

There are easy solutions: WOG the Dog. (Obvious spoof.)

"...The Rectification of Errors is simply that the Clerk of Court is in conspiracy with this bizarre SO HELP ME GOD criminal impersonation syndicalism. We might call this, "Weaponization of Guardrails" (the New WoG - instead of, Weaponization of Government) and hope that with AI's promotion to SI we might get a little less lying out of the Data Centers. Soon we might need an even bigger Weaponization Fund for the victims of SI WoG!"

Notice how there haven’t been any big riots or protests here this year since the USAID money-laundering operation has been disbanded? (France is a different story). The Trump administration also recently launched a DOJ antitrust investigation into mainstream media, is going after the ivy leagues, DEI, and many other tools that the Marxists have been using to divide and conquer to destroy this nation. I realize that I’m probably preaching to the choir on this forum, but if there are any Republicans, Independents, or moderate Democrats who haven’t made up their minds about voting, if you want to preserve our system of government and have a future you can look forward to, it’s critical that you vote Republican. As I said once before, not voting is a vote for the party that doesn’t share your values by allowing the party that does to lose. That doesn’t mean you have to agree with everything Republicans have done, but they are our only defense against this country going Communist and/or Sharia law.

Racism is a much to useful political to to be allowed to go away.

"Racism is not dead, but it is on life support -- kept alive by politicians, race hustlers and people who get a sense of superiority by denouncing others as 'racists'" ~ Thomas Sowell
