There are even some Israelis in these homes who survived and provided accounts and testimony. So, it's not any secret that the IDF enacted the Hannibal Directive. IDF Apache helicopters also used incendiary ammunition that, upon contact, makes what was hit go up in flames. That's why there are so many burned up vehicles. There's video evidence of IDF Apache helicopters shooting and blowing up any and all vehicles heading back to Gaza. This was to prevent more Israelis from being taken hostage so that these Israelis couldn't be bartered for the thousands of Palestinians held without due process via administrative detentions.

You should also read Avi Shlaim's book Three Worlds.
Shlaim is a Mizrahi Jew whose family moved from Iraq to Israel in 1952, if I recall correctly. He recounts and documents how false flag bombings were used by Mossad-trained Iraqis to "encourage" Jews to migrate to Israel...where they were treated like second-class citizens.

Judaism is a religion, not a people. Only Hitler and modern Zionists have characterized the Jewish people as a race. Even today, if you were born to a Jewish mother before she converted to Judaism, you can't become a Jewish citizen of Israel. However, if you were born after she converted, you can become a Jewish citizen. If you're an atheist or agnostic, like many of Israel's founders, you can become a Jewish citizen if you fit the mother rule. But if you converted to another religion, even if you can trace your Jewish ancestry back to Shem, you can't become an Israeli citizen per your birth rights.

You do realize that ancient Judaism was a proselytizing religion and that there were even forced conversions of non-Jews, including circumcisions (ouch), during the Hasmonean period, don't you? (Many Judean leaders also married non-Judeans and had non-Judean children during the Babylonian exile.)

Israelites were just a group of Canaanites who moved up into the hills when Ancient Egypt included the land of Canaan. So the Torah and the prophets are simply allegorical stories most likely compiled during the Babylonian exile. Though many historians and archaeologists date it more recently during the Hellenistic period.

I respectfully disagree. I'm a senior and I was introduced to what the Jews and Israel have endured at the age of 12, and have been reminded of it frequently ever since, and I think that's appropriate. I married a Jew and we jointly raised our sons to be proud of their Jewish heritage, celebrating primarily the Jewish holidays each year.
What I didn't know anything about until I met and became close friends with quite a few really wonderful young people from Egypt. Turkey, Lebanon and Iran, during my 40s and 50s, is the western propaganda, censorship and lies that everyone else in the Middle East has endured and what their true aspirations are.
The men who wrote the Declaration of Independence believed in treating their enemy far better than Israel does, and they demonstrated those beliefs time and again. They believed, and I do too, that all men are created equal and that we are all only accountable to our Creator.
I further believe we that what we put our attention on only increases, and that we need to learn to promote understanding and reconciliation rather than bias, distrust and war. I am very disappointed that this forum is being used to promote only the perspective that it promotes.

Nonsense. People hated Jews since Abram became the first Jew by covenant, 4000 years ago, and had his name changed to Abraham. Situations change over eons of time. But YHWH’s covenant stays. True Christians are grafted into the root of Abrahams’ covenant. At the end of this age , many Jews will return to their ancient faith in YHWH as described in the Book of Romans Chapter 11 of the Christian New Testament. They will be grafted back into the root as natural heirs of Abraham’s covenant from YHWH. It was a one way covenant, from YHWH to the heirs of Abraham. Not genealogy , by faith. As described in the Christian New Testament Book of Hebrews. By faith.
You are right about people hating those of the Covenant, but you are a bit confused about the origin of the Jews. Biblically, the term "Jew" applies to the descendants of Judah, one of the twelve sons of Jacob.
Abraham (Abram) paid tithes to Melchizedek, who was a participant in the same covenant as Adam, Enoch, Noah and Moses, among others, including Abraham. But he was not a descendant of Judah, who was his great grandson, so biblically, he is not a Jew.
By definition, a covenant involves two or more parties. The Abrahamic Covenant is unique in that God is the only person in the Universe who absolutely has the power to fulfill His promises and the perfect integrity to always do so. As you pointed out, true Christians are included because they choose to be. Each person has to accept it in order to be part of it, so it is not one way.
The heirs of Abraham (specifically those of Ephraim) were (are) tasked with sharing it with the world. Currently most Jews do not fully understand and don't fulfill their roll in the covenant. As you pointed out, eventually some of them will.
However, they are not the only descendants of Jacob (Israel). The Old Testament has interesting promises about his other posterity.
As you said, those who do truly accept and live it will be grafted in to the true vine who is YHWH, Jesus Christ.
YHWH’s covenant to Abraham happened when Abraham was in sleep. Abraham had nothing to do with it. YHWH “cut” the covenant between both sides of the sacrifice. It was one way and Abraham had nothing to do with it. YHWH makes a way for all of us to be grafted into the vine. All nations, all tribes, all tongues. The Covenant of Grace started with Genesis 3:15, and this was the beginning of the Christian church. The ‘seed of the people ‘ was King Jesus. The serpent IS still Satan.
After Abraham was Issac and Jacob. The entirety of our founding faith were all sinners like you and me. But… faith gave them salvation. Faith, not works.

This statement indicates that you accept that faith is requisite to be included in the covenant.
In Genesis 12 the LORD spoke to Abram. Surely He would not speak to him and make those promises if Abram had not demonstrated faith.
In Genesis 13 the LORD spoke again to Abram and promised him that his posterity would eventually inherit all the land he could see and that his posterity would be numberless. This again demonstrates that Abram had faith and obeyed God.
In Genesis 14 the priest Melchizedek blesses Abram and Abram pays tithes to him. Abram's faith definitely had something to do with his relationship with God.
I assume you refer to Genesis 15 when you say that the covenant happened when Abram was asleep. Not only had Abram shown faith previously, but the first nine verses of this chapter he has a conversation with God. He's not asleep.
Verses 10-16 apparently relate statements God made to Abram in a dream.
Verse seventeen says "In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, . . ."
Maybe that covenant was made during the dream and maybe not. It does say "In the same DAY . . " And there are no details in the record of who said what in the process of creating that covenant.
Regardless, Abram had demonstrated faith previously. In fact, paying tithes is part of an individual's side of the covenant God desires to make with all men (Malachi 3:10-12).
Genesis 17 relates that God appeared to Abram and made a covenant with him. The record indicates that he was awake. This was also when his name was changed to Abraham.
You said that the Jews would be grafted in to the covenant when they return to the true faith of their fathers. God is not a respecter of persons. He doesn't require something (faith) from one and nothing of another.
Abram returned to the faith of HIS fathers and God made the covenant with him. Abrams faith was indeed great, as shown by his willingness to sacrifice Isaac when God commanded it. That was a severe test. It was a type and shadow of God's willingness to sacrifice His own Son. I'm sure that is why his blessings were (are) so great.

Plus, also look at Jesus. Jesus was a Torah abiding & teaching Jew. But his interpretations and teachings of Jewish & Mosaic law varied from the teachings of other Jews, especially the Pharisees, of his time.
For example, in Matthew 5:17-48 during the Sermon on the Mount, where Jesus presented six antitheses, Jewish scripture said, Thou shall not commit murder, but Jesus instead said a person shouldn't get angry at anyone else. So, Jesus didn't contradict the teachings in the Torah, he expanded upon those teachings and addressed root causes. That is, if you're not angry at another person, you won't murder that person.
Jesus took this even further. Where the Torah taught to love one's neighbor and be kind to the stranger, that is if that neighbor or stranger is another Israelite, Jesus instead taught to love one's neighbors and strangers even if those strangers are your enemies (see Luke and the story of the Good Samaritan).
So, if Jesus were alive today, his interpretations and teachings of Jewish & Mosaic laws would be at odds with many Jews today, including most modern Israeli citizens. No doubt, Jesus would be labeled a "self-hating" Jew (and probably a Kapo) by Kahanists and Revisionist Zionists.
Additionally, Jesus was an apocalyptic Jew. So, he also taught that the end times and then heaven here on Earth were coming within his lifetime to true believers of God. This included the destruction of the 2nd Temple. That too didn't go over very well with the Jewish leaders (Pharisees & Sadducees) of his time. These teachings about the destruction of the 2nd Temple (and that Pharisees were corrupt) most likely led to these Jewish leaders turning Jesus over to the Romans for crucifixion.
No doubt, if Jesus were alive today, he too would point out how modern Jewish leadership is corrupt. Thus, Jesus, no doubt, would also be accused of "blood libel."
It should also be noted that what Jesus taught was quite a bit different from Apostle Paul's later interpretations of Jesus's teachings as conveyed in the 13 letters of Paul included in the New Testament. So, Pauline Christianity, which is central to orthodox Christianity, varies quite a bit from what Jesus taught, particularly regarding atonement and salvation.

The first clip is from the documentary film The Bibi Files. The talking heads in the film are other former government officials. They all confirm Netanyahu's arrangement with Hamas. This isn't a secret.
Most of the other clips are from an interview with two brothers who lived in a kibbutz. One of the brother's daughters and son-in-law were taken hostage.

Shlaim is a Mizrahi Jew whose family moved from Iraq to Israel in 1952, if I recall correctly. He recounts and documents how false flag bombings were used by Mossad-trained Iraqis to "encourage" Jews to migrate to Israel...where they were treated like second-class citizens.

Similar questions regarding early writings included, and excluded, from the Orthodox canon (New Testament)?
If not, your perspective is based on edited translations where words and meanings have very different contexts in which they were written.

Judaism is a religion, not a people. Only Hitler and modern Zionists have characterized the Jewish people as a race. Even today, if you were born to a Jewish mother before she converted to Judaism, you can't become a Jewish citizen of Israel. However, if you were born after she converted, you can become a Jewish citizen. If you're an atheist or agnostic, like many of Israel's founders, you can become a Jewish citizen if you fit the mother rule. But if you converted to another religion, even if you can trace your Jewish ancestry back to Shem, you can't become an Israeli citizen per your birth rights.

Interesting, though, per Israel's laws, a person is not a Jew if he or she was born after his or her mother converted per halakhic procedure. One also is not a Jew, if that person converted to any other religion, even if that person is a direct descendant of Shem.
You do realize that ancient Judaism was a proselytizing religion and that there were even forced conversions of non-Jews, including circumcisions (ouch), during the Hasmonean period, don't you? Not to mention, esp. after Post Temple Judaism, many Jewish men married non-Jewish women in the diaspora. (Many Judean leaders also married non-Judeans and had non-Judean children during the Babylonian exile.)

Israelites were just a group of Canaanites who moved up into the hills when Ancient Egypt included the land of Canaan. So the Torah and the prophets are simply allegorical stories most likely compiled during the Babylonian exile. Though many historians and archaeologists date it more recently during the Hellenistic period.
Dr. Malone has written an excellent piece about the complex situation Israel faced when invaders came from Gaza in 2023, it explains much, and it arouses empathy for Israelis and Jews who have been demonised worldwide. I'm a senior and I was introduced to what the Jews and Israel have endured at the age of 12, and have been reminded of it frequently ever since, and I think that's appropriate. I married a Jew and we jointly raised our sons to be proud of their Jewish heritage, celebrating primarily the Jewish holidays each year.
What I didn't know anything about until I met and became close friends with quite a few really wonderful young people from Egypt. Turkey, Lebanon and Iran, during my 40s and 50s, is the western propaganda, censorship and lies that everyone else in the Middle East has endured and what their true aspirations are.
The men who wrote the Declaration of Independence believed in treating their enemy far better than Israel does, and they demonstrated those beliefs time and again. They believed, and I do too, that all men are created equal and that we are all only accountable to our Creator.
I further believe we that what we put our attention on only increases, and that we need to learn to promote understanding and reconciliation rather than bias, distrust and war. I am very disappointed that this forum is being used to promote only the perspective that it promotes.
The hatred for Jews is widespread, and I’ve personally seen it on this site by receiving a response on Sunday’s article that said Jews are the Antichrist—I almost posted his name and his response here, but decided not to—I refused to answer him.

You are right about people hating those of the Covenant, but you are a bit confused about the origin of the Jews. Biblically, the term "Jew" applies to the descendants of Judah, one of the twelve sons of Jacob.
Abraham (Abram) paid tithes to Melchizedek, who was a participant in the same covenant as Adam, Enoch, Noah and Moses, among others, including Abraham. But he was not a descendant of Judah, who was his great grandson, so biblically, he is not a Jew.
By definition, a covenant involves two or more parties. The Abrahamic Covenant is unique in that God is the only person in the Universe who absolutely has the power to fulfill His promises and the perfect integrity to always do so. As you pointed out, true Christians are included because they choose to be. Each person has to accept it in order to be part of it, so it is not one way.
The heirs of Abraham (specifically those of Ephraim) were (are) tasked with sharing it with the world. Currently most Jews do not fully understand and don't fulfill their roll in the covenant. As you pointed out, eventually some of them will.
However, they are not the only descendants of Jacob (Israel). The Old Testament has interesting promises about his other posterity.
As you said, those who do truly accept and live it will be grafted in to the true vine who is YHWH, Jesus Christ.
YHWH’s covenant to Abraham happened when Abraham was in sleep. Abraham had nothing to do with it. YHWH “cut” the covenant between both sides of the sacrifice. It was one way and Abraham had nothing to do with it. YHWH makes a way for all of us to be grafted into the vine. All nations, all tribes, all tongues. The Covenant of Grace started with Genesis 3:15, and this was the beginning of the Christian church. The ‘seed of the people ‘ was King Jesus. The serpent IS still Satan.
After Abraham was Issac and Jacob. The entirety of our founding faith were all sinners like you and me. But… faith gave them salvation. Faith, not works.

This statement indicates that you accept that faith is requisite to be included in the covenant.
In Genesis 12 the LORD spoke to Abram. Surely He would not speak to him and make those promises if Abram had not demonstrated faith.
In Genesis 13 the LORD spoke again to Abram and promised him that his posterity would eventually inherit all the land he could see and that his posterity would be numberless. This again demonstrates that Abram had faith and obeyed God.
In Genesis 14 the priest Melchizedek blesses Abram and Abram pays tithes to him. Abram's faith definitely had something to do with his relationship with God.
I assume you refer to Genesis 15 when you say that the covenant happened when Abram was asleep. Not only had Abram shown faith previously, but the first nine verses of this chapter he has a conversation with God. He's not asleep.
Verses 10-16 apparently relate statements God made to Abram in a dream.
Verse seventeen says "In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, . . ."
Maybe that covenant was made during the dream and maybe not. It does say "In the same DAY . . " And there are no details in the record of who said what in the process of creating that covenant.
Regardless, Abram had demonstrated faith previously. In fact, paying tithes is part of an individual's side of the covenant God desires to make with all men (Malachi 3:10-12).
Genesis 17 relates that God appeared to Abram and made a covenant with him. The record indicates that he was awake. This was also when his name was changed to Abraham.
You said that the Jews would be grafted in to the covenant when they return to the true faith of their fathers. God is not a respecter of persons. He doesn't require something (faith) from one and nothing of another.
Abram returned to the faith of HIS fathers and God made the covenant with him. Abrams faith was indeed great, as shown by his willingness to sacrifice Isaac when God commanded it. That was a severe test. It was a type and shadow of God's willingness to sacrifice His own Son. I'm sure that is why his blessings were (are) so great.

We lost touch when we left school, she to university and me to work. Some years later I heard that the antisemitism caused her to take her own life.
To this day, I am now 83, I have never understood racism in all its ugly forms, it truly is incomprehensible to me, even my mother was a racist and my husband, until he became a Christian. Ironically, scholars of various disciplines, including the study of DNA, believe that Adam and Eve were, more than likely, black! I do hope so but I doubt the racists will believe them.

With us Jews, there's a saying: two Jews, five opinions. So, your assertion that all Jews must conform to one definition of Judaism is intrinsically antisemitic. I mean, for f' sake, just read the Talmud, which is thousands and thousands of pages of debate over how to best follow Jewish laws.
Plus, also look at Jesus. Jesus was a Torah abiding & teaching Jew. But his interpretations and teachings of Jewish & Mosaic law varied from the teachings of other Jews, especially the Pharisees, of his time.
For example, in Matthew 5:17-48 during the Sermon on the Mount, where Jesus presented six antitheses, Jewish scripture said, Thou shall not commit murder, but Jesus instead said a person shouldn't get angry at anyone else. So, Jesus didn't contradict the teachings in the Torah, he expanded upon those teachings and addressed root causes. That is, if you're not angry at another person, you won't murder that person.
Jesus took this even further. Where the Torah taught to love one's neighbor and be kind to the stranger, that is if that neighbor or stranger is another Israelite, Jesus instead taught to love one's neighbors and strangers even if those strangers are your enemies (see Luke and the story of the Good Samaritan).
So, if Jesus were alive today, his interpretations and teachings of Jewish & Mosaic laws would be at odds with many Jews today, including most modern Israeli citizens. No doubt, Jesus would be labeled a "self-hating" Jew (and probably a Kapo) by Kahanists and Revisionist Zionists.
Additionally, Jesus was an apocalyptic Jew. So, he also taught that the end times and then heaven here on Earth were coming within his lifetime to true believers of God. This included the destruction of the 2nd Temple. That too didn't go over very well with the Jewish leaders (Pharisees & Sadducees) of his time. These teachings about the destruction of the 2nd Temple (and that Pharisees were corrupt) most likely led to these Jewish leaders turning Jesus over to the Romans for crucifixion.
No doubt, if Jesus were alive today, he too would point out how modern Jewish leadership is corrupt. Thus, Jesus, no doubt, would also be accused of "blood libel."
It should also be noted that what Jesus taught was quite a bit different from Apostle Paul's later interpretations of Jesus's teachings as conveyed in the 13 letters of Paul included in the New Testament. So, Pauline Christianity, which is central to orthodox Christianity, varies quite a bit from what Jesus taught, particularly regarding atonement and salvation.

In my former job I got sent to a bunch of training about the terror threat ranging from bombs, agricultural attacks, mass shootings, etc. to Neo Nazis, to Antifa, to well pretty much all the bad actors. The Obama and Bush II admins both started to change the language and would not call them terrorists, but instead used terms like Violent Extremists or Homegrown. By changing the language one can call "cis-white, heterosexual, gun owning conservatives that go to church, "violent extremists". Pretty sure I am on too many lists to count.
Many plots, not the ones the FBI kind of manufactures, get stopped on a regular basis. Many plots.
Manufactured plots are those wherein the bad actor gets trolled into meeting with agents, eventually given a bag of grenades, and arrested in the process of doing what he was predisposed do. People who hate Jews and Israelis are ignorant. They are remarkable people. Kind, funny, industrious, clever, extremely creative , and very dangerous if you threaten their families. They save the lives of people that hate them. Since Europe is so dangerous for Jews now, many Jews should migrate to the USA and spread around to places outside of NYC, Miami, and LA. Others should make Aliya to Israel itself. And for Christians, please keep in mind that King Jesus was a Jewish man as were all of the original disciples and almost all of the Apostles. Romans Chapter 11 discusses the future for many of the Jewish people from a Christian, Biblical perspective.

Palestine was a peaceful and prosperous community; all it needed was an acceptance of the rule of Common Law, and it would surely have remained so right up to this present day That is my belief. No doubt I may have placed my life in great danger for expressing my belief, and from both sides. Regardless, that is what I believe to be true; all it needed was an acceptance of the rule of Common Law and peace would have been the end result.
That was what David Ben-Gurion wanted. It was then, as now, rejected by the Arabs.

I too had wondered if Israel knew about the impending attack on October 7th and let it happen, so they'd have a reason to go to war. Well I’m renewing my subscription to this substack. I canceled my support to a couple of covid era substacks & the Highwire. All of these stood on the tragedy that befell the Jewish people during the Holocaust. The medical experimentation conducted upon them, and “never again.” Yet, not a peep from any of these substacks or the Highwire about the worst day to befall the Jewish people since the Holocaust. Sure we heard plenty about human interest stories (and rightfully so) about Lahaina, volcanoes earthquakes elsewhere in the world, but nothing about October 7th. It was deeply disappointing to me. When the 3 Ds (defamation, delegitimization & double standards) are applied to Israel, and no one else, that’s a red flag. My knowledge of Israel and the events its been experiencing comes primarily through Mark Levin. A constitutional expert I encountered during tea party days. He's been making in person trips and has been friends with Netanyahu. He well covers the pain of the assaults the Jews have been experiencing.
